Ultimately, I want to place a subscribe link in my Instagram stories, and then those customers who sign up to our main list via that link are segmented by having signed up via IG.I have read through multiple community & support articles but none seem to directly address my situation.It seems that the best way to do this is to create a segment by $source. ($source would be IG Stories.)I know I can create a link to the subscribe page, which can be placed on an IG story. However, the $source associated with these signups will just be the Subscribe Page, and isn’t specifically indicating the customers came from IG. We worked with a Klayvio rep to sync our Shopify and pull in our mailing list. Once that happened, there was an issue with some people getting a confirmation of subscription, even though they had been subscribed for months. We were told this was a glitch because of the double opt in/single opt in information between Shopify and Klayvio, and they apologized.Now that I’m in our account, it says we have 4,000 profiles and 2 suppressed profiles. When we exported from Mailchimp prior to syncing with Klayvio, we had a total of ~3600; about ~2400 subscribed, ~50 cleaned, ~100 unsubscribed, and the rest non-subscribed. I was told the reason why there were more in total is because Klayvio scrapes more data. That’s not the issue.The issue is that it seems very clear that the designation each profile has had in Mailchimp has not carried over. Hi I hope everyone is doing good. I am having an issue automatically adding custom properties to profiles that join my mailing list.I am using a contact us form from Wix and I would like for whenever someone fills out the form they get added to a segment of the main list indicating that they filled out this form. I am using labels on Wix so that whenever someone fills out this form they have a specific label added to them. Whenever I open the csv file containing my mailing list from Wix it includes the label as a column with all the specific labels attached to the profile. However when someone fills out the form they get added as a profile on Klaviyo but under custom properties it doesn’t include the label I attached on it from Wix. It only includes on property which is Wix labels with the value . Is there a way where wix labels can be automatically updated that when they fill out that form they get the specific label from wix attached to their profile? Thank you for all your help I
I have an account I use for testing an integration we’re building with Klaviyo. I logged in today and all but 3 of my lists/segments are missing. Anyone noticing this type of strange behavior in your dashboard? PS and FYI...we’re currently in beta if anyone wants to learn more and participate no charge. DM for details.Cheers…..Jim
When sending campaigns I use segments including what customer has doneUnsubscribed zero timesover all time and Marked Email as Spamzero timesover all timeHowever this will exlcude customers who have resubscribed after unsubscribing. How can I include these profiles? ThanksSean
Hey, got a technical question on segments!I have a 30 day engaged segment and a first time buyer segment.I want to email those who fit the criteria for both.Do I have to create a separate segment with that criteria,Or is there a way to email the profiles that exist in both of these segments, while excluding the profiles that live in just one of the two?It's kinda pointless to ask since creating a new segment would work just fine... I'm just curious to know.
Hi. I am reviewing my lists and flows and as a beginner, it’s throwing up some questions. I wonder if someone can help please?I have created a segment ‘Unengaged had 10 emails’ This has given me a little more than 6000 people on itI want to remarket to these with a discount offer with those not replying being moved to a ‘To be surpessed’ list (For me to then add to the main surpressed list by upload)Would I be best creating a campaign for this and targetting the unengeaged list? and then maybe a flow ? But what would the flow look like?Feeling a bit dim :-)Thanks
Hi, I have a gift company and I want to offer customers to offer our customers an important date reminder. So they could tell us the date of someone’s birthday or anniversary for example, and we can send a reminder 2 weeks before the date. Is this possible in klaviyo? thanks
Sending to engaged customers is crucial to being a successful email marketer. We recommend breaking up your Klaviyo subscribers into 30-, 60-, and 90-day engagement groups. If you send daily, we recommend using a 30-day engaged criteria (using opened or clicked email). If you plan to send to subscribers weekly or monthly, extend the timeframe for opens and clicks to 60 or 90 days.Monitor your open rates using the engagement report.
Hi, I am completely new here 😀 A marketing company we were paying for to do Klayvio have left me stranded with a messed up account. I don’t have a clue really what I am doing and because the set up stage has been done by someone else which seems a mess, it seems so confusing to me. I have watched videos, but none of them seem to show the issues I have. If I could start it from scratch I would, but we already have some contacts in there now.Question 1I logged in yesterday to have a look and try and upload a csv file from another marketing platform we have, with no joy. I have checked the date and everything of the file but it still fails. The list had the customer email, first name, last name and date consented only, so I am not sure what I am doing wrong.Question 2When I logged in is showing me we have 2540 counts under profiles, not in any list, however, today the profile count is the same but I cannot view any emails now. Has anyone else had this issue of them not showing? Question
Hi there!I’m hoping someone can shed some light into an odd behaviour I’m seeing.Adding subscribers to a list using the /profile-subscription-bulk-create-jobs endpoint is working partially if we make the request on a machine locally or an AWS lambda, but not on a long running node server hosted on heroku.By partially I mean that we get the 202 acknowledgement, but do not see any double opt-in confirmation emails issued.If I supply a profile id which should have had a double opt in email sent, would it be possible to confirm whether the IP address matching the API request was indeed blocked?Thanks!Ismael
HelloHow can I create a segment of all subscribed profiles that have not opened any marketing email in the last 3 months? Or have not opened the last 5 marketing campaigns?Also, if that profile has opened transaction emails from the shop, but did not opened the marketing email, I still want him to be on that segment.Thanks

We’re testing some deliverability related things and one of the things we’d like to test asap is having the double opt-in option on vs. off. I don’t want to apply double opt-in settings to the whole list, but instead would like to A/B test it. I can’t find this capability on Klaviyo, but wondering if any of you have figured it out or you can think of an alternative way of achieving the same goal?
My Typeform quiz is designed to identify dog personality. It includes a request for contact information (first name, last name and email) to send the personality results. I would like to create segments based on the personalities. But they are not auto populating as a ‘property about someone. Please advise. Thank you!
Hey all, Our site has two different subscription lists - one for Members and one general Newsletter. The Newsletter form is in the website footer while the Member signup is on its own page. I’d like to figure out how to separate the two so the subscribers go to their correct lists. Right now they’re all going to the Newsletter list which isn’t correct.Thanks!
Hi everyone! How do you turn off the posibility to opt out of certain emails? We want customers to be able to opt out of newsletters, but not out of the emails that are needed for their subscriptions. We offer a meal plan. We'd want to make sure they do receive the delivery confirmations, updates to their menus etc.
Hey everyone. I’m new with Klaviyo. So the thing is I integrated Klaviyo with my store and when I check on site tracking on Integrations page, it says that it’s enabled. I added on site metric to profiles and signed up on my Shopify store then I checked Klaviyo it don’t show the on site metric even when I’m on site. Same for product viewed metric. Because of these 2 not working, I can’t activate added to cart metric. I don’t understand what’s wrong.
Hi all,Would it be possible to remove someone from a list automatically? I mean through a flow or 3th party integration?I have the following use case:I have build a yogaselector in ManyChat that puts someone on a list in Klaviyo (and updates custom properties). Klaviyo kicks off a flow that sends the results of the selector in an Email.If someone fills out the yogaselector in ManyChat again the custom fields might be updated and the Email with the updates scores would be sent.I thought that maybe removing someone from the list just after the first mail is sent and put them back on the list would be the way to go. But I don't see any possiblities to automatically remove someone. Not with a flow, not directly with the ManyChat integration nor via Zapier.Do you think it's (im)possible and/or would there be another way to accomplish what I'd like?Thanks in advance for your thoughts!Tim
I’m looking for a solution to download all of my raw data from Klaviyo without having to pull in all in different reports. Context: I’m currently trying to create a dashboard for clients using Google Data Studio. I need help as I’ve tried to message support, live chat support, and to call the sales team, but it’s all been down. I know they have connectors that you can purchase, but would rather work will all my raw data first manually before looking to automate the process with the likes of Supermetrics or similar.
I’m trying to create a newsletter giving customers the option to opt out of Mother’s Day emails. I’m following the directions in this article: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/5495696206363#create-a-segment-and-exclude-it-from-holiday-sends3 However, it doesn’t tell me how to create a landing page for the opt-out confirmation. I have Shopify but am not versed in code. Where should I direct the customers when they click the button to opt out?
