Hello,I’m very new to Klaviyo and was wondering if you could help me figure out how to do the following:Send an automated email to a user who requests access to my gated Shopify store. i.e. Thanks for requesting access, someone will be in touch shortly. Send an automated email to a user once they are marked as “approved” in Shopify. i.e. You now have access, log in here [...] I already set up auto-emails via Flow in Shopify, but it does not allow me to send to the end-user. Other info:The sign-up form I’m using is the generic Shopify form.I see that when I test the sign-up form, it is being logged in Klaviyo in the Profiles list. How do I get started?Thank you
We sell wine and would like to make a “Fine Wine” segment defined by price.I can make a segment of people that have viewed products with a specific price (“where [Price] equals [x]”.But it would be nice to have the possibility of “is greater than” etc in stead of equals, which cant be changed. Any others workarounds? I have made something with categories (ie, Bourgogne, Napa Valley etc) but they can contain wine that isn’t “Fine Wine”-definition, so that is not super great. And we have tousands of products, so making a “Fine Wine” category would take a lot of time.
I have sent a campaign to multiple segments at once and I want to see the open rate, click rate and conversion rate for this campaign split down by these segmentsis this possible?so campaign went to segment A (opened email last 30) and segment B (purchased last 30 days)how can I see metrics for the campaign by segment? If possible?
Hello everyone! On my food ecommerce I want to create a customer segment that has purchased at least one product of a particular brand. For example, you can create a segment of customers who have purchased at least one flour; I would like to create a customer segment that has purchased at least one Brand X product. We have Shopware and the APIs not yet connected. With full settings, will it be possible to create this dynamic segment? Thank you!Martina C.
Hi there! It seems that Klaviyo has a default block list to prevent spam traps from being added to a mailing list but I’m having trouble finding a list of what emails we should avoid during testing the Identify API. I’m building an integration between one of our other platforms and Klaviyo, and the payload that other platform sends has a user email along the lines of firstname.lastname@example.org. Tests sent from that platform do not make it into Klaviyo via the Identify API, presumably because the address is clearly “fake”. Is there a list of known email domains or structures that are filtered by Klaviyo? And is there any way to toggle this filter? It would be helpful to accept any email during development, especially if we have less control over what the test email looks like. Thanks in advance!
Hi,I have a problem with product tracking.I have done an API integration with my WIX store (it is not natively integrated with Klaviyo) and I am having issues with user events. As you can see from the picture, I get products that are not mine in addition to my products. Please help me solve this.I would also like to integrate the catalog.
I have 27 digital only products in my store; somehow one of them is published with Klaviyo, but none of the others are. It has taken me a while to reach this point in my integration with Shopify to discover why my Kalviyo emails are picking up only the one digital product. I am on the free plan. I first installed Klaviyo when I created my Shopify store, so my 60 days of being able to contact support to ask for the backend to be corrected is long gone.I found this in a previous post:With that said, there is a setting we (Klaviyo) can enable on the backend of your Klaviyo account to ignore the inventory quantity. Enabling this setting will allow your products to populate in the feed regardless of their stock/inventory quantity. Since this is an “ignore” setting, the caveat here is that it will display all items in the feed even if they are legitimately out of stock. If you would like this feature enabled, please file a request with our support team and they will be happy to take care of

Hi all, not sure if my title properly explains my question. So let me clarify here. I want to send out an extra weekly email with some inspiring stories/messages. This content is a little different to what we usually send and I don’t want to bombard our current audience. Is there a way I can send the email to them and give them the option to unsubscribe just from this particular list and NOT from our brand? Hopefully this makes sense. Happy to answer any questions to help clarify the details. All the best,Chris.
Hey all, So trying to figure this out. I’m a bit confused about lists and segments and how they relate to Mailchimp groups. When a subscriber signs up for my mailing list, they have three different groups they can sign up for: Oracle, DnD, and Art Collector. It doesn’t look like there is a way to import the groups into Klaviyo so that means that I’ll have to manually do it. However, I don’t see any way to represent the group information. I tried going to the profile and creating a custom property called “Interests” but that only allows me to set one interest. In my case, they may sign up for one, two or three groups. The only thing that I see would be to have three different lists but that means that their email is in there multiple times. If I do that, that also means that I have to create another list that has everybody in it. Is there a better way to do this?Dougie
Hi there - We need to add all of our profiles in Klaviyo to a single list, so that we can delete the profiles (you can’t delete profiles without a list). We can’t seem to find any way to add our *profiles* to a list. The only options are uploading a CSV, but that doesn’t help us delete the profiles so… Thank you for any help - neither the support email nor chatbot are working
Hey peeps, currently I’ve designed my sign up pop up form also create a new list and also runing flows, but problem here is my customers are not receiving welcome emails as I’ve make for them, other thing here is, in my list,it shows only 1 memeber but in sign up form there are 3 memebers. Why is it so?
Hi all! Very new to Klaviyo, trying to set up my first Welcome Sequence for my Newsletter. This is what I would like to happen… I need to understand if this is possible. In the second email of my sequence, I would like the reader to be able to self-segment via a poll “I’m interested in X” / “I’m interested in Y.” I would like Klaviyo to use this data to sort those email addresses who answered into segments “X” and “Y” Then, I’d like a follow-up email to be sent two days later to those who did not answer the poll giving them a second opportunity to self-segment.Am I dreaming? Or is this doable? Thank you!
Greetings,I trust this message finds you all in good health.Having engaged with Klaviyo for over a year now, I am relatively new to this forum. I would like to extend my gratitude in advance for the warm welcome.I am seeking assistance regarding email marketing integration with Shopify. On my website, I have established a section where visitors can register their email addresses to receive product updates and exclusive offers. These emails are seamlessly added to my newsletter list. However, a distinct scenario arises when visitors create user accounts on the website without explicitly signing up for newsletters; their purpose is to access the site's features. Unfortunately, the automated welcome series and promotional emails do not trigger for these individuals since they are not included in the newsletter list. Consequently, I am compelled to manually enroll these individuals into the list, causing delays in delivering welcome series or discount communications.I am eager to know wheth
Hi,I’ve seen a lot of questions regarding on segmenting your audience by engagement in terms of days but is there a way to segment your audience by percentage? Say I want to email a group that opens emails 75% to 100% of the time more often than I email a group that opens 25% to 50% of the time.
When importing contacts into Klaviyo via CSV import, is it possible to skip contacts that already exist instead of overwritting their data
When importing contacts into Klaviyo via CSV import, is it possible to skip contacts that already exist instead of overwriting their data? It seems the only option at the moment if contacts already exist in Klaviyo is that any mapped fields will be overwritten my new data from the CSV file. Is there any option to skip/exclude contacts that already exist without having to mash the list in advance in Excel?
When I upload a new list to Klaviyo using a Shopify Customer csv file, there might be multiple profiles that already existing in Klaviyo. Some of those profiles may have unsubscribed from previous email campaigns. When I upload the new list the suppressed profiles on Klaviyo get affected and are shown as “subscribed” again. How to I prevent this from happening and ensure that any profiles that have unsubscribed from email campaigns remain this way?
How to pull a segment for only International subscribers only from an audience that contains United States?
Hello, I have an audience comprised of both national (U.S.) and international subscribers and I am trying to create a segment to only pull the international subscribers, however, when I use Properties about someone, “Country does not equal United States” and whatever other attribute that I need using the “and” operator, it still pulls United States subscribers. Is there another way to pull this?
Dear Guys, i hope you can help us with an extremely important issue as we are in the midst of an litigation with a prosecutor that now reached cease-and-desist declaration against us to avoid any further mails being send to him. The accusation in general contains the point that he a) reproached us that we send him an unwanted double opt in mail (which is impossible to proof how typed in a mail adress into one of our signup funnels) and b) that our double opt in mail contained promotional aspects that is against German law (which is not the cause). The whole claim is really fraudulent but the court declared the cease-and-desist declaration, that we are not allowed to send ANY mail to the customer anymore. As we could blacklist the mail address for sendouts through all our flows, Klaviyo claimed now that they are unable to avoid a sendout of a double opt in mail to the customer if his email address would be typed in in any given sign up form again. And this double opt in mail would then
Hey guys, So I am looking to figure out how to do something - Our company has subscribers and one time purchasers. We have an order confirmation email that goes out to all recipients, both subscribers and one time purchasers. I want to test out a feature where the delivery date of the order will only be displayed to one time purchasers only. All orders in shopify from subscribers are tagged with a “subscriber” shopify tag. So I’m trying to figure out how to create a code to add into the existing order confirmation email so that a one time purchaser will be able to see the delivery date but a subscriber will not see this. How can I achieve this? I don’t want to create a separate email for this.I’d rather input a bit of code into the existing email to do this. Thanks!
I created and uploaded archive data as instructed in the help section. The import appeared to complete with error. And then nothing. No added customers, no statistics change in flows, no confirmation and/or failure email. Just silence. It seems that importing ~300 record should be relatively quick, and provide some indication of success. What have I done wrong? Also, if anyone is interested I created an export template for Shipworks.
