Accessing subscriber

Hello What api method can I use to retrieve new and existing users with their associated subscriber status? I’ve looked through the documentation but can’t find what ‘m looking for. Is there a way to see for example for time period of 24 hours lets say - who subscribed in that period? Who signed up etc? Is there also a way to access the full customer base using the api and access their current email status? for example if I have 10K emails - can I download them with their associated profiles/subscriber status? Many thanksAdham

Help: My Shopify customers are not syncing with Klaviyo

I have integrated Shopify and Klaviyo but I have two problems: The Newsletter list is not updating from Shopify Launch Page to Klaviyo - I see them as Profiles but they are not in my Segments/Lists. I have already put in the code into my .liquid to enable Newsletter sign ups and automatic syncing.  I am unable to set up a Welcome flow > I had set up a Welcome flow to say Hi to new subscribers but it did not sent to the test emails I had put into the specific Subscription list I used.I would really appreciate your help - I tried looking at the Help Centre but I think there is something I’ve missed. Edit: It seems like my Newsletter Subscribers (from my Shopify’s launch page) is being synced with Klaviyo. However, after try to set up my Welcome Series flow..it says my account is suspended for review. Did I do anything wrong that I need to fix?

How can I trigger a subscriber to be added to multiple lists when they sign up?

Hi everyone,I’m wondering if someone can help me out with this! I have a pop-up on my website that says “Sign up for 10%!”, which adds them to my “10% off” list, and triggers a flow to send them a discount code. The problem I’m having is, is that I don’t know how to make sure their e-mail is ALSO added to my “Newsletter” list. I want to keep these separate, because I don’t want people who sign up for my email at my footer to get 10% off also. Does this make sense? If so, is this possible? Any help is appreciated! How to manually suppress a profile in Klaviyo?

Manually suppressing a profile in Klaviyo is pretty simple. To manually unsubscribe someone from all emails sent by Klaviyo, navigate to Profiles > Suppressed Profiles > Add Email Address. Enter the email address and select Add Email Address. This method is what we’d recommend for suppressing a single profile at a time if, for example, a customer requested that you remove them from your list. Need to create a tricky segment for one-time purchases who have 2 purchases...

Okay this is sort of a weird one but here we go.We currently have a segment that adds customers in who have placed one order over all time. These customers then get added to a flow where they get a series of emails.Currently, due to some shipping issues we’re dealing with, if the item is over a certain weight, we have to create a draft order with a 100% discount to generate a shipping label for it. I won’t get into the details because it’s hard to explain, but basically this customer now shows as having ordered twice as that is what shopify is telling Klaviyo.Basically, what I’d like to do is edit this segment so that it shows customers who have only ordered at most 2 products, where one of those orders is $0 OR customers who have ordered one product over all time where value of product is greater than $1.I’m having a hard time figuring out exactly how to do this, so figured I’d ask here. Thanks so much in advance!

Can Klaviyo find out the country of my newsletter subscribers?

I ask for only email addresses from my website visitors when it comes to subscribing to my website’s newsletters.But inside flows I want to set a criteria that the emails should go to those people who are not from Australia and NewZealand.  Can Klaviyo find out the country of my subscribers even without asking so that I can remove them inside flows?

Why Clicked email tracked but the Open email event not tracked?

Hi all, I have this situation where a user is clicking links in the emails I’ve sent, viewing products via those links, etc…But Klaviyo is not registering that these emails have been opened. I only happened to notice this when I was checking out a profile that I was going to suppress due to engagement. Thanks in advance for any help or clarification! :)

I’m brand new to Klaviyo, so please bear with me.On my website, I want to have a sign-up form offering a 10% discount to anyone who signs up, and hopefully uses that discount to become a paying customer. How do you update the fields of historic event data that was uploaded?

Hi,I have successfully uploaded over 5 years of historical order data, which worked great, but I now realize there are some additional fields I should have included in the CSV files I uploaded. If I just re-upload all the same CSV files with the new columns of values included will this append the extra field values to the existing orders in Klaviyo, as it will have the same Order ID/Event ID in the second upload? Thanks in advance for any help or pointers.Shane

Import of Clickbank's Suppression List

Hi all,I want to do some affiliate marketing with Clickbank (CB) but I noticed that they have a suppression list consisting of 3000+ email domains that CB affiliates are not supposed to email to.I tried to upload this suppression list to Klaviyo as a list but since it is a list consisting of only domains and not email addresses, Klaviyo is unable to import the list.I reached out to their helpdesk but was told there’s only 2 ways:​​​​​​​​​​​​​​To create a segment and choose ‘Properties about someone’, ‘Email’ ‘doesn’t contain’ ‘@domain-name.com OR To export my email list to CSV, filter out the list of restricted email domains and upload it back to my Klaviyo as a separate list from my main list.The problem with method 1 is that I will have to do it 3000 times because CB has a list of 3000+ domains names on the suppression list. It will take me ages to do this.The problem with method 2 is that my main list is growing every day as I’m running a lead generation campaign. And if I use this

Getting invalid phone number

I have a phone number +06 14 44 19 11 and when I am trying to add it in the list via API, I am getting not a valid phone number. error I tried removing the space and also removing the leading + symbol, but the issue still persists Please help me in this

Segmentation when trigger is OPEN EMAIL with specific Subject + flow not start

Hi guys.I’m trying to create a scratch flow when an account enter in my custom segmentation.The definition of segmentation is this:Now, when I send a personalized email and this accounts open the email for some happens the segmentation, for more accounts no.Also, for accounts featured in my segmentation, they will not be present in the flow and therefore no type of flow will start. Why does this happen? Klaviyo indicates that the segmentation fills up based on the actions performed by the accounts.In this case the accounts appear to perform that action.

Creating new list based on a question from newsletter?

Hello everyone, Im wanting to create a new segment of customers that would be interested in submitting feedback for my store and products. I want to ask everyone if they’d be willing to get emailed polls once in a while. I basically want to ask them stuff like “what size shirt do you wear” and send out an email to them with a link to an advanced poll. Im just not sure my newsletter is the right place to put these polls as people might think its spam. I’d be asking in my newsletter if they would mind being added to a new segment. Hopefully this makes sense.

Collecting Customer Interest In Specific Product Category

Hello,I run a WooCommerce store that specializes in one-of-a-kind products. We have 100+ different product categories.I would like to do the following:Insert a Klaviyo signup form at the bottom of each WooCommerce product category page, and tell the customer “Sign up to get notified when we add new products to the is category”. When a customer uses this form, Klaviyo knows which product category page they expressed interest in. Each time we upload a batch of new products, have the ability to manually create a new campaign in Klaviyo and send it to the above customers that expressed interest in this product category. Give customers the ability to modify the categories that they want to be notified about via checkboxes on the Klaviyo manage preferences page. I’m unsure of the best way to accomplish this. How to find the source of a list or segment

*newbie alert* apologies if this is basic 101.Somebody (from Klaviyo) created an everybody list for us on our account when we were setting up our account. I have a feeling it was to make sure all suppressed addresses were captured however I’d like to see the ‘rules’ or definitions on how this list comes together so that I can ensure that our Shopify people are being feed into this ‘everybody’ list, but I cannot seem to find any information on how those names get on the list.

Best approach for cleaning list?

Hi There!I want to clean my list, but I don’t know which one is the best approach.First, I have created a segment of the people that didn’t open any of my e-mails in the last 6 months, in which I put the tag “limbo”.Then, I created another segment with the same structure, but now within the last 45 days (with the same tag). For this segment, I created a flow to send two emails. If the person doesn’t open, I want to put a “Limbo” tag on her. If she opens any of them, I want her to remain active.I don’t want to “suppress” these profiles, because I want to try some re-engagement in the future.So, what is the best way to segment these “inactive” profiles?Should I just exclude the “people that didn’t open any email in the last 45 days” from my campaigns? If she opens any one of the two emails, Will she be removed from that list?Should I create a flow and if she doesn't open anything, I create a “property” Limbo? This will be a problem if the same person goes in this flow 2 times? (Like, cre

How do you search for all users at a domain like @mycompany.com or @mcdonalds.com?

In the “search for someone” box at the top of every page how to we search for all profiles that are at a domain like @mycompany.com or @mcdonalds.com? We can only search by email handle, like johnsmith and janesmith.  We don’t seem able to search by the domain.  So if one of our profiles is johnsmith@mycompany.com we can only find that profile by searching for  johnsmith (or a fragment of that).  We can’t find it by @mycompay.com. Seems weird.  We often want to find all profiles for specific domain names.

List segments don't work

Hi, I have difficulties managing the list segments. For testing purposes I have also made two similar list, with exactly same rules, but they show different amount of users in it. and i have NOT set any date range in the segment, but havde chosen “over all time”I have made a costum property called “Favorite Club”.Many users have written there Favorite club when they have signed up, and I have also tried manual important a lot of users, also with a column called Favoritclub. It simple only add some of the users correctly, but not all. very strange.Anyone experience similar problems?

How can I add old contacts to my new list?

Hi,We have a client who we plan on setting up on Klaviyo for email marketing.  Our client has a contact list of over 70k people from his previous business.  He’d like to use that list for his new business email marketing.  What’s the best approach to email and ask the old list of contacts to join the new list?  We obviously don’t want to spam these people but we do want to be able to reach them and ask them to sign up if they wish.We’ve thought about snail mail, and the client’s not into that idea.  We appreciate some guidance and best practices on this. Thank you.
