Why can't I open Received Emails from profile pages anymore?

I remember it used to be possible to view an email a profile had received from the profile page by clicking the 3 “dots” next to the ‘Received email’ event in the event overview. Why has the feature been removed?

Emails not sending to correct segments?

Today I sent out two separate versions of essentially the same email to different segments.I have created an “employee” list where, as you can imagine, I keep all our employees emails so I can exclude them from certain communications as necessary.One version of the email was sent to our club members and employees.Another version was sent to our engaged audience, excluding everyone found in our club segment or employee list. But I received both versions of the email, despite my email address being in the employee list.I’m worried that my segments aren’t working correctly and that I’m spamming recipients with multiple versions of the same email, but I don’t know how that would be possible if they are part of an excluded segment.Has anyone else encountered this?

Klaviyo forms are allowing multiple sign-ups with the same email address to be saved in the list multiple times. How can I achieve this?

How do I add brackets or limitations to OR statements in Segment builder?

This is a segment I built: I only want to include leads who have engaged with our content - but because I am selecting people who opened an email “OR” clicked an SMS I am ending up with people who are Active Clients that have also clicked on an SMS.Is there a way to Bracket the AND/OR statements so I can do something like (Opened OR Clicked) AND not a Client?the way the OR statement is attached to the previous condition makes it look like it is connected and might be written like that - but it is not. PS.This is another use case where being able to edit the fields shown when looking at a segment list would be super helpful where I’d be able to see at a glance if the segment is including/excluding the right people without having to guess and hope that my random spot-checking individual records stumbles onto a key record indicating if Active clients are in the list or not.

Recurring users on the same list

Hello all,I work with a company that sells online courses.Once a course is sold, we manually activate the account and send out a mail to the user with their login info, and later on we send them a reminder before their course expires. I set up a flow in Klaviyo that is triggered by a list in which I input all the new users along with their emails, usernames and passwords.The flow works fine for first time users, however recurring customers are not receiving a second batch of emails.Ex: If you took a course in Jan, you’ll receive the intended emails normally. However, if you take a new course in June and I add your info + email to the list, klaviyo doesn’t recognize you as a new user and you won’t receive a second batch of emails. Can you please suggest any fixes to this problem or alternative methods? Thanks in advance, I appreciate your input :)GD

Best approach for multiple languages

Hi there!I’ve read through some posts from 2 years ago on how best set up your klaviyo flows when you serve customers of different languages. Like the user in this post:  said: -”Add Conditional Splits to Each Flows Based on Language Variable... would add complexity to the Flow with lots of branches to manage ….  at 5 languages, flows could have 10s of elements in a flow, just to maintain the similar logic for different languages... it honestly just sounds like a support nightmare…. “ I currently have 3 languages but am planning to add more (since my store is located in europe, there are many more languages spoken here) Therefore I was thinking of creating one list per language as one user suggested in this post: To me this sounds like the simplest solution to me. Since I am still at the beginning of building my email list, I would not have to worry about moving current subscribers from one list to another.But, in these posts there was also mentioned that Klaviyo is working on new feat

Using segments to build bigger segments

When creating segments, you can include lists, but you cannot include other segments as segmentation criteria.Why not? Other ESPs and CRM tools do offer this feature, and it is very helpful.Why is it very helpful? I’ll give you an example:Let’s say you want to create a segment that includes:Everybody in a certain list;  Everybody who last logged in to your website less than 90 days ago, AND who is opted in; OR Everybody who last opened an email from you less than 90 days ago.If you have pre-built segments for:“everybody who last logged in to your website less than 90 days ago, AND who is opted in; and“everybody who last opened an email from you less than 90 days ago”, every time you want to use these segments to create other groups, you can just use these pre-made segments as inclusion criteria, rather than having to select and combine a range of properties every single time you want to create a similar, but not identical segment. How to use preferences to not send an email

Hi there I want to use preferences more in my emails and am planning a campaign to encourage customers to update them. We sell wood for various appliances, so we would ask customers are you interested in ‘pizza ovens’, ‘log burners’, ‘fire pits’ etc. At the moment, I can only see how to use preferences to decide who to send an email to. Ie. if someone said they were interested in ‘pizza ovens’ send them this email about pizza ovens. What I can’t work out is how to say - if this person has updated their preferences and their preference is ‘log burner’ do not send them this email about pizza ovens. I don’t just want to send it to everyone whose preference is ‘pizza oven’ because not everyone will update their preferences. Is there a way to do this in Klaviyo? ThanksHeather

Metric Properties Do Not Show in Segment List

I created two new properties and generated two “Ordered Product” and one “Placed Order” action.  These show up in the metrics and activity feed, and my new categories show in the JSON strings just fine.When I try to create a segment based on properties, those two new properties do not show / are not valid.How do I activate them as valid properties?

Warming

HI! Transferring a list of fewer than 5,000 subscribers — is a warming process necessary for this client? Additionally, what's a good rule of thumb regarding the number of subscribers and average open rate to decide whether a client should initiate a warming process instead of focusing on building a healthy list through key flows and regular campaigns?  Thanks for your help!

creating a segment using started check out metric

Hey Guys,Im struggling to create a segment for users who have abandoned their cart. Ive attached a screenshot to make things simpler.Essentially, I was able to create the segment with the first 4 users using the conditions you see below. For some reason I cannot figure out why the 5th entry is not being added to the segment. When I save it it only saves the first 4 entries. The conditions are exactly the same as the others, this user has started checked out on her profile so im really not sure why its not adding it. Any help would be great, thanks.

Profiles that get signed up to the 'Newsletter' segment not being added to 'New Subscriber' segment

Emails that a sign up form acquire are being added to my NEWSLETTER segment but not my NEW SUBSCRIBERS segment. Not really sure why this is the case. The definition for NEW SUBSCRIBERS is:if someone is in or not in [NEWSLETTER] and was added in the last 14 days AND if someone is or is not suppressed for email. It would appear that anyone who signs up for the NEWSLETTER would instantly go into NEW SUBSCRIBERS with these rules but it’s just not happening, and thus any email flows do not start. Any ideas?

Same average order value for all engagement segments

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone can help me figure out a simple question i have regarding average order value. I’m conducting reports across our engagement segments - (30 days, 60 days, 90 days and 120 days) and i’m pulling out engagement reports from these segments. In all of these, the average order value is the same. To me, this doesn’t seem right. I would assume that the higher the engagement, the higher the order value, no? Can anyone tell me why this is?

Too many unnecessary profiles from Mailchimp

I recently integrated MailChimp with Klaviyo and the over 50k profiles within MailChimp. Most of these profiles are emails that should have been cleaned out of the list. We only need about 20k of the actual list, and don’t want to be charged for having all of these unnecessary profiles.Is there a way to get the list of active profiles down to our necessary 20k without being charged for the “dead weight” profiles?
