What happens after Klaviyo reinstallation
Hey there we got problem with integrating Klaviyo to Shopify as it seems we need to reinstall it, our goal is to get the all the metrics for email flow triggers.However we are hesitant since we don’t know what will happen--will our contacts be deleted, emails, etc? We’ve installed Klaviyo few years ago like around 2018 so we didn’t get the easy peasy installation with what we have today.*I could request to do reinstallation but again we are hesitant to do this. Anyone who knows the best way to do this?
Why does it seem my Account is Disabled for no reason?
So, I'm new to Klaviyo and I was checking everything out. Creating and deleting multiple Flows, Lists, Segments, Forms, etc… To learn and experiment how everything worked and figuring it out by myself. But suddenly I got my account disabled out of thin air… Any help? Thanks.
User ID disabled from All My Clients' Accounts
Hi, I am Klaviyo Product Certified: https://verify.skilljar.com/c/sf46d7ri7mbhand I own a small email marketing agency. This is my full time livelihood. I always follow all best email practices, and study/review the latest updates in email marketing on a monthly basis. 2 days ago I was locked out of all 6 of my clients’ accounts because 1 of the accounts was disabled. I have emailed support 3 times and have heard nothing back. I think I know why the 1 account was disabled, and it was 100% an accident: We were having trouble getting Zapier to track sales data from their shopping cart into Klaviyo,so we set up an affiliate link to track sales. We are NOT promoting an affiliate offer: the Klaviyo account is owned by the owners products. We were simply using the link to track sales in the short term while we got their shopping cart to link properly with Klaviyo. I own a small email marketing agency and would NEVER use a Klaviyo account for affiliate marketing. I sincerely apologize for
Shopify Theme Change
I am already using Klaviyo on a vintage Shopify theme, and have Back in Stock, Viewed Product Tracking and Added to Cart Tracking set up, together with embedded forms.Currently migrating to a 2.0 theme, and unable to find any information about whether I need to add these all over again?If so, can I do that before the theme is published? Several accounts for several companies ?
In order to manage the mailing of several companies, is it better to create several accounts with a single registration email or create several different emails for each account. I think the first solution is the best but I also read that there can be unfortunate data transfers between accounts...
Integrating SMS and Mails from another platform to Klaviyo
We used another platform for SMS Marketing before. There are many sms and emails we have collected here. But now we have started to use Klaviyo. Is it possible to import SMS and e-mail information from other platforms to Klaviyo? How can we import this information? Thanks for your help.

Update Shopify customer profiles with Klaviyo data
Hello all. I am pretty new to making newsletters with Klaviyo but already clicked something that I shouldn't have. Last night as I signed in, I saw the option to “Update Shopify customer profiles with Klaviyo data”, assuming that when I clicked that, it would unsubscribe anyone that clicked unsub in a newsletter and also do so on my Shopify website. But instead! My husband turned around and asked me if I finally put him on my newsletter because he got a confirmation email. I unsubscribed him a million years ago because he doesn’t need to see what I create, I show him in person! It looks like there are a bunch of people now listed as “subscribed” that I know for a fact are not. How can I fix this with the least amount of embarrassment? I already unclicked that box but everyone is still listed as subscribed. I am not sure who in my Shopify list is, and is NOT, supposed to be there now.
Checking install of web tracking via Google Tag Manager (GTM)
I’ve set up onsite tracking using GTM following the instructions here: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015392131-How-to-Add-Klaviyo-Onsite-Tracking-using-Google-Tag-ManagerWhen I test using the `utm_email` query parameter as suggested in that article, everything seems to be working. However, if I try to validate the tracking setup using the “Setup Web Tracking” wizard here: https://www.klaviyo.com/wizard/web-tracking. I get a error message: “Script was not installed correctly”.Does anyone know if that wizard checks something important about the setup? Or is the error maybe because GTM creates a script tag that looks a little different from the provided snippet?
One Shopify store now split into two.
Hi there! We’ve split our Shopify store into two seperate identities to better serve individual customer segments and make the UX more defined. Can I still use the origonal Klaviyo account (integrated with the first Store) with both of the two stores? Or do I have to purchase a second Klaviyo license for the second store? Thank you.
Links redirecting some users to a 404 Page
Hi, I’ve been having an issue with Klaviyo for some weeks now. I will let you know the issue and then troubleshoots I’ve already done. CMS Used: Shopify. Theme: Latest Version, Shopify 2.0 Problem: I’m creating and launching a campaign to my audience list. When people are clicking on the links, some of them are landing to a 404 page. Most are not. But it’s like 25% would be on the 404 page. The page people are landing would look like: /collections/shirt/products/Y292ZXItY2 It’s the end that is interesting because for people who know Shopify, products pages don’t end like that. Of course I tripled checked the email, and all the links are correct. When I sent preview to myself or other people, it’s working. So overall, my issue is random. What I did to troubleshoot: - i’ve sent this morning another campaign, to a segment of my audience with Mailchimp. I hadn’t that issue. I used Mailchimp to test if the issue was from Klaviyo or Shopify. - I don’t have the issue with my ads. - i’m seein
Account has been Disabled randomly
Hello! My account just got disabled for some reason and my client is waiting on me. Does anyone know why this happens and how to get it back? I had to make a whole new account because my other one got disabled...and the same outcome happened with this one. I need assistance because it seems like there’s no customer support on the other end without being redirected to a forum. I appreciate it if anyone could help!
magento2 periodic sync has failed
Hello , We are syncing the historical data in our website.The first time when we sync the data it failed at around 99.3%. So again we have started the sync process but it has again failed at around 99.8%. Due to this, we are getting error notifications in our Klaviyo account. Please find attached screenshots for more info. Can you please check and let us know the issue?
Can we use same account for development and production server?
Hello,I am getting confused with the klaviyo multi account setup. We wanted to use klaviyo on our website. we have two environments development and production environment. 1. Do we need to create two accounts for the development and production environment?2. If we have two 2 store views of a site, do we need to create a separate account for them or one account will do?Can anyone please suggest me for the above questions?Thanks in advance !
