Special character '@' being encoded to '%40'

I have a flow that triggers an email that contains a button with a URL that looks like this: “https://www.blabla.com/check-in?email=test@test.us”Whenever I trigger the flow and receive the email, I click on the button and see that the ‘@’ in email param was encoded to ‘%40’, that way I can’t use it properly in my application.Is there a solution for this?

Why is my fallback font occasionally bolded sometimes?

Hey Klaviyo Community, We switched to a custom Google Font. Now we have the problem that the Formatting of the Fallback Font is sometimes changed to bold. This happened on an in Gmail opened in Chrome on a MacBook. But this doesn’t happen in every Google Account. In my Google Account in Chrome on a MacBook everything is formatted correctly. Our Fallback Font is the web-safe Verdana Font. I already tried removing the formatting completely.I also tried adding a style block at the top of the email. <style>  body, p, td, div, span, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {    font-family: Montserrat, Verdana, sans-serif;    font-weight: normal;  }</style>This didn’t help so far. What could be the issue and how to resolve it?

Hello, a client is interested in creating a page to showcase old emails that have been sent since some of the content is evergreen. Does Klaviyo have a template like this out of the box? If not, what would you suggest that can automate this process so they don’t need to be added manually?

Order Confirmation Email - performing multiplication

Hello, I would like to edit the order confirmation email. At the bottom, I want to add a line which refers to the tax amount paid by the customer. I want the line to be called "TVA 20%" and it needs to show the amount of TVA which would be the result of "0.2 x order price". I don’t know how to add a calculation in the HTLM code. I tried to do something like that: Sous-total : {{ event.extra.subtotal_price }}TVA 20% (incluse) :  {{ 0.2*event.extra.subtotal_price }}Livraison : {{ event.extra.shipping_lines.0.price }}Total : {{ event|lookup:'$value' }}Obviously, it’s not correct. Can you help me fixing the code?Kind regards,

How do I set the background color per column in a "Split Block"

This is what I am trying to create: and stacking on mobile like this:In Klaviyo a table doesn’t stack on mobile, I would usually use the “Split” content block, but it only has one toggle for the background color that stretches across both sides:Is there a way to set the color per column? even in the HTML if possible? Thank you

How do I level neighboring tables in a template?

I am trying to create a table in an email I am migrating/ rebuilding from our old EDS but am struggling to get things lined up right.There doesn’t seem to be an option to standardise the size of columns or rows in my table , so if the images are not all the same size I cant pad around them to make it even.This is in Klaviyo, without the ability to set a standard depth of each row, the second row starts at varying levels in each tableThis is what I’m aiming to replicate from our old EDS where the text is still level even though the images are not consistent in size I have also found that to get these 3 columns to stack appropriately in mobile I need to use the “Columns” layout with a small 1 column 2 rows “Table block” in each of the three columns the layout creates - this is because a normal table just compresses and a “split” Block is limited to 2 where I need 3. Thank you

Images not displaying

Hi, every time I send an email it will never download the images in both Outlook and Gmail. I never have this issue on any emails I receive, even ones from other Klaviyo accounts. How do you fix this

alternative to fallback fonts

I have a client that only wants to use their custom fonts on emails and doesn’t like the fallback fonts that klaviyo sometimes defaults to. So I’ve been having to design emails in Canva, slicing the image into sections and uploading the PNG sections into Klaviyo.So far we haven’t seen any negative effect on open and click rates but is there a workaround besides designing and uploading the entire email as an image? Ideally, I’d love to design in Klaviyo so I can repurpose emails in the future. Having to design every email is a bit time consuming…Thanks!

Why is my link for Abandoned Cart taking me to my homepage instead?

Hello! I am wondering how I can add a link (not a button) to my abandoned cart flow that would take the email recipient back to their cart. I see that Klaviyo allows you to do this for a button, but not sure how to do it with a particular link.

Is it possible to use show/hide logic with sms consent?

I’m trying to show an image to only the people who have not consented to receive SMS…. Is there a list of commands for the show/hide logic…… Almost every single link I click in the Klayvio help/community section of Klayvio sends me to a 404 error page, with no helpful information.

Why aren't my dynamic images pulling in my template and the wrong image URL is brought in?

I am having trouble getting the product photos to pull properly using the {{ event.ImageURL }} tag. It seems to mess up the URL for the image. Please see the "Https:/cdn..." in the ImageURL property. The screenshot is from one of the default preset flow and emails for Browse Abandonments and I haven't changed anything.

How do I change the opacity on a block background color in email?

For example, I am using #5168C0 for my button color in my email, and I’d like to have the block background color be 20% opacity of that hex color. Is it possible to set that? Right now I am choosing a second hex color, but I will have to pass this template on to another team member and for simplicity sake, I don’t want them having to choose two colors.

Why aren't my buttons showing on mobile emails?

When testing my campaign, the buttons on my email only show on desktop and not mobile. In the edit section i double and triple checked that the buttons display on both desktop and mobile.  I did create this email off of a template idk if that could be why. Any advice?This campaign needs to go out tomorrow.  TIA

Why won't my Shopify font upload, saying 'One or more font files could not be accessed'?

Hi, I’m trying to import a new font since yesterday. It’s available on Shopify, but not on Klaviyo. I sourced the font URL from my Website/Inspect/ Network/ Font/ Headers but getting always this error message: “One or more font files could not be accessed.”The font is not mine, but one of the Shopify Premium ones, so hosted by Shopify but not available in Klaviyo.Can someone help me, please?Thank you!Diana

Bulk edit Flow Email templates

Applying background color to alternating sectionsTutorial

In my last Community post, Sections and columns in the new editor, I explained how the new section and column layouts work. In the new editor, you can now add sections with two columns. Columns can be vertically layered. Meaning, on the left hand side (for example) you can add a text block and a button block underneath it, while on the right side, an image block. This format is great for showing and describing a new product or service. The button within the section directs the viewer to read more/purchase the product after reading about it and seeing the picture. This is a proven successful design, meaning formats like this receive high click rates. Sections can have background colors added to the entire section, so spacers are not needed anymore to ‘fill in’ the color.

Resize image without HTML

Without needing any custom HTML, is there a way to resize an image within a column section (2 columns, split 30/70 image/text)? When it stacks on mobile, the image is too large.  The other option is to not have it stack on mobile, but the alignment is off and the image is too small, and top left justified.

Question about Layout split section on mobile view

Hi,I have a question regarding a split section.In my desktop view the social media icons are on the left of the text, since there is enough space.In the mobile view looks it like below. How to add a clickable phone number to an email

There are many reasons you might want to provide a phone number for customers to reach you at, and it’s a great way to keep an open line of communication with your customers if you offer phone support. So how do you easily share that with a customer in an email?There are two ways you can add a click-to-call link to your emails:Add it as linked text. If you mention your phone number within a text block, you can hyperlink it to your phone number by adding the following HTML to your text block’s source code:  <a href="tel:+18881235467">1-888-123-5467</a>.   Add it as a button. Drag and drop a button into your message. Add an appropriate call to action in the Button Text field, and instead of a Link URL, add “tel:+18881235467”  Be sure to replace the example number with your own number, and keep the same formatting as in the example.

Different image for desktop and mobile version

I wanted to understand if there's an option to add different images for desktop and mobile version? We're creating our email flows and want mobile users to see a different version of our images than desktop users, is there an option to create this? I only see "mobile optimisation" and "image stacking" options. Thank you

How to change URL previews, to Tool Tips on-hover

We use lots of images through our templates, and link these off to our website. However the URL previews, with tracking look terrible in some mail clients, blocking all the content as they are so large eg: I have seen some Klaviy clients achieve an onhover tool tip approach, which is much better.They still maintain the tracking links behind this and the on-hover does not hide all the actual content eg: How are they doing this as I want to achieve the same thing?Thanks :)
