How to check status of import?

Hello,I’ve followed the instructions for Export profiles from one list into another so I could delete my non-used lists and create a master list.How will I know when my import is complete? Nothing indicated how I would know. And how do I sanity check that names from the old list are now on the master list? I don’t see how to search a user within a list. I see only that I can search a user and bring up their profile telling me which lists they are on.Thank you!

Hello all. This may have been asked before - if so, my apologies but I can’t find anything on the forum so far that helps. My question is - can I send flows to people who have active profiles but are not subscribed to our newsletter?

Abandoned Checkout discount

Is there any possible way to know if my abandoned checkout discount is working correctly? I tried to look at it at a email that was sent to a client but it still appers like Preview Button code is: {{ event.extra.checkout_url}}/&discount={% coupon_code 'Abandoned10' %}

Why are my abandon checkout and abandon cart emails going to SPAM?

Hey,I’ve been working with a new client for the past 1 months. They were sending Welcome & Abandon Emails prior to my onboarding for 1-2 months. No campaigns were being sent. We began sending weekly campaigns to engaged customers for the past month and are getting 30-40%+ open rates.But we’re not hitting the same for our abandon checkout and abandon cart flow.I’ve noticed the abandon cart and abandon checkout email for my client are going to spam.  and don’t know why.Can anyone provide any advice? Really at a loss with how we can turn this around for the client right now as we cannot capture revenue from these flows.

Abandoned checkout not sending

Hi there people! I just started working on a new account and I can’t seem to find out where the problem lies.  It shows all skipped because of failed flow filters. But there are way more abandoned checkouts than 69.I started a new one but so far in couple of days it skipped 10, but looking at the shopify data it should have skipped 30 and sent 30 as we had 62 people who reached checkout and 30 who converted. How do I troubleshoot this? Thanks a lot <3

ShipBob Tracking number

Is there ANYONE in the Klaviyo community that has managed to embed the Tracking Number generated by ShipBob fulfilment into a Klaviyo email template?ShipBob has a direct API with Klaviyo but under the Event ‘Label Created’ there are no tracking number or tracking url variables.I have tried asking Klaviyo Support but they have been next to useless.  Adding a tracking number varible to an email flow is probably the single most important communication that a customer needs. Thanks.

How to Connect Multiple Shopify Stores?

Hi all,There seems to be an issue with the Klaviyo integration with Shopify. In that, you are not able to connect more than one store to Klaviyo.We recently launched our US store and have started to segment our audience to send location specific emails to our American customers. It is essential for us to have two stores at the moment as the US store have a slightly different selection of product vs. UK and can pay in USD. However I am not able to gather any analytics from this store. Making it hard to analyse campaign and flow performance for this audience.I was curious to know if there was a work around or if Klaviyo were working on a fix for this?I look forward to hearing your thoughts,Many thanks,Rory

Why am I still receiving automatic replies from people when I'm using a "noreply" email address?

Is anyone else still getting automatic replies from people even though you have set up a “noreply” email address. It’s mostly automatic messages telling us that they are out of the office, but I didn’t think we should be seeing these messages at all, since we set up a “noreply” email address. I have talked to the support centre already regarding this issue, but they told us that it doesn’t matter if we set up a “noreply” email address or not, it’s the settings on someone’s email. This does not make sense to me. Wouldn’t everything just automatically reply the email address that you set up? If not, why even do it? Why even have this feature. If you are experiencing this or have, can you please let us know what you’ve done to correct it. Is there a solution? Thank you so much. Jo

Properties fail to import in text emails

I’m attempting to create an email campaign with text content (actually HTML, but only text and links).Our customer names are saved as custom properties.  First name is stored under “first” (see below):I’ve been unable to get Klaviyo to import that property.  I’ve tried the following:Hi {{ person.first }}The above generates an email that says “Hi ,” no name inserted. I’ve also tried this, per the documentation:Hi {{ person|lookup:'first' }},This ends up generating an email that says “Hi None,” Nothing I try has enabled me to extract the property and use it in an email.  I’ve tried across multiple customers, and double-checked that the property exists.  But it consistently fails to import in the email preview.

CSV Import of Array property

When attempting to bulk CSV load a user property that is of List/Array type, the csv importer fails to work despite following the format recommended by the documentation : https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005237648-About-Data-Types#list6 For example the very simple CSV below fails with “column missing” but if I change the property to be a normal string, the upload completes. It looks like the CSV uploader does not actually support List data types despite the documentation. Email,some_propertyvim@gmail.com,["A","B"]

Complete copy not showing up on email when editing

I am trying to add a review in a text box. But what I have typed in the editing field does not show up in the actual email. I have closed out and re-opened and it is still truncated.Is there a solution?Thanks, Chrisitn

How can I create a custom manage preference page?

Hello. I’m looking for advice. I have a digital communications preference center in mind that goes beyond Klaviyo’s default list opt-out experience. I want a page that allows the User to opt in and out of email, sms, and push for various topics.This is essentially both a subscribe, unsubscribe, and preference center in one page.I also want want to give the User a chance to decrease the email volume, as they should be allows to set a preference for “once a month” “twice a month” or “gimme all the email”Here’s a screenshot of what I designed.Please provide some advice or instruction for how to implements this type of preference center.Thank you!

Custom Integration for Browse Abandonment

Hello. I have a custom website, and therefor, a custom integration with klaviyo. I have Product Detail pages that fire a viewed product event to Klaviyo.I also have a viewed category event that fires to Klaviyo as well. viewed category is the parent to viewed product. These events fire individually as a User jumps from category and product pages to category and product pages. How do I code these emails up so the browse abandonment flows, which target viewed category and viewed product in separate flows, so that all viewed category events from a session get grouped into one email template.

How Can I Search through the Properties options in my account?

Is it possible to search by property?  For example, if you have a text field where you have collected answers from a form, and you have assigned a property to that field, is it possible to search by Property name to see all of the answers you have collected for that Property?

Flows for first 100 customers

I would like to create a flow that is triggered by Facebook Ads, but only for the first 100 customers who click on the ad and sign up to our newsletter. I would like to create a second flow that is triggered by the same Facebook ads, but only for the 101st customer onwards. Is there a way to do this? Much appreciated! :)

Hi, I can't figure out what is best practice in this case: We have aShopify website that needs all standard emails like abandoned cart etc A newsletter signup on that Shopify site, triggering a welcome-series. An external landing-page hosted on Unbounce that triggers a waitlist-email. A lead-form on Facebook that also should trigger the waitlist-email.If I sign everyone up to the main newsletter list, then I need to exclude the landing-page and Facebook subscribers from the welcome-series (as well as any other potential future sources).Should I then trigger the welcome-series not by joining the newsletter list, but by filling in a form?Or should I create a new list for the waitlist that holds Facebook and landing-page subscribers and sends the waitlist-email when someone joins that list?Or should I create a segment "waitlist" and exclude that segment from the welcome series?Thanks for any adviceDirk

creating a custom list from existing people in klaviyo

I’m new to Klaviyo, and I'm trying to create a custom list of select individuals already in klaviyo, as is described on the option for “list” in the image below.  When I select it, however, I don’t see any way to select any of contacts already in klaviyo.  It would save me the time of uploading their information again, and I don’t know if there are any risks of duplicates.  Hopefully something simple I missed, but I couldn’t find a way to do this in help articles.  I welcome any feedback.

Does Checkout Email Sign Up Trigger a "Thank You for Signing Up"?

Hi all, We are new to Klaviyo and are in the process of setting up automated email flows. We have set up an automated email so that if someone either subscribes to our newsletter either via the footer or via a pop-up that appears, they receive an x% discount code to email. We are just wondering - as part of checkout, we have selected for Klaviyo to collect customer emails. Does this in effect also register them for the newsletter? The scenario we are concerned about is that someone does not sign up for our newsletter either via the footer or pop-up, but registers as part of the checkout process, then a few mins after check out, receives a x% discount code - which wouldn’t be an ideal customer experience. Is our understanding correct? Is there a way to not trigger the “Thank you for signing up” email if it is done via the checkout page? Many thanks

How to create list based on customers birthday information

I have a signup form for emails and birthdays (for babies) in the format DD/MM/YY.I tried to create a list so that subscribers can go into the list of related DOB.For example, if a child is born on 02/10/2022, I want them to go into a list of 0-3 months.                      if a child is born on 02/07/2022,  I want them to go into a list of 3-5 months. and so on.Is this possible or is there a better way I can do this?Please I need solution.Thank you.

Removing user from my account

Hiya, I am trying to remove my old agency as a user in my account - without luck. I click on the light grey x, a popup appears asking me to confirm, I click on ‘delete user’ button and nothing happens and therefore, unable to delete. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks very much.

why can't gmail users sign up for my newsletter?

Hi!We are new to klaviyo and i’ve just set up my first newsletter which is linked to a segment list. the newsletter is meant for new subscribers so we can build a customer base. We’ve linked our klaviyo newsletter with our shopify shop. We’ve noticed when testing the link, only non-gmail users can succesfully sign-up. If we try to sign up with a gmail account, we do not get a success message and the user is not subscribed.. how can we fix this?
