Klaviyo is summing up two different currencies without converting them. Total revenue is getting messed up everywhere.

On our website, we offer two currency options: 'CAD' and 'USD'. I recently examined one of our campaigns where the "Placed Order (aka Total Revenue)" amounts to $400. This amount is actually the sum of two recipients' purchases—one from the USA and the other from Canada. These recipients made purchases totaling USD 140 and CAD 260. Klaviyo is not performing any currency conversion before adding these two different currencies amounts to show as "Placed Order (aka Total Revenue)" of the campaign. It's simply adding two different currencies together. And also displaying it as $XXX.XX for each campaign which is not right because the "$" sign means USD but it's actually the sum of two different currencies.In Klaviyo, when the "Placed order" WooCommerce event occurs, Klaviyo is capturing two different currencies on events (as per geos). Klaviyo is not performing any currency conversion, nor does it convert currencies when displaying the total "Revenue" of the campaigns.This leads me to a que

How can I populate a Klaviyo form with a customer's first name on Shopify?

When receiving the confirmation email and accepting to receive emails, subscribers are redirected to a hidden page inside a Shopify store where every product has a discounted price. When entering that hidden page, they get a pop up (from Klaviyo) that says:“{{ first_name }}, here is a small gift” In order to get that to show the users’ name, I should send the first name field from Klaviyo to Shopfiy by dynamically appending it to the URL. How can I do that?

Double Opt Alternative to prevent list bombing: reCaptcha vs honeypot

Hi there, We’re looking for a double opt-in alternative to prevent our list from being spammed. I’ve tried setting up a honey pot but got lost at which point I asked Klayvio support who told me I needed to use a 3rd party integration (can’t find any but suggestions welcome). I beleive recapthca isnt really an option either unless it can be integrated by a developer into the form, is this the case?What are the best practices here? Can any one provide some actual guidance on how to set up a honey pot or recaptha or is double opt in really the only option?Shop built on woo commerce.Thanks, Rob

Can virtual contact card MMS create a different message thread than your toll number?

Hello, anyone else have the issue of their SMS VCC card producing a different message thread than the one sent by your toll free number?  My SMS welcome flow has two SMS messages in it.  One SMS message contains a VCC card and one message contains some copy.  They produce different message threads in my phone. I can consistently reproduce this behavior by deleting my profile and triggering the flow again. I also have had colleagues reproduce the behavior The list that triggers the flow is double-opt in.

Added to Cart Value Trigger

Hi all, Is there a way to set up a trigger for “Added to Cart Value”? I already have the “Add to Cart” value set up. I’m trying to do a conditional split with Added to Cart Value for cart value at least $99 as customers with at $99 value get free shipping while under $99 would need to pay for shipping.Is there a workaround for this?

I am trying to create a sms & email multi step sign up form and cannot publish the form as I am receiving the following form alert: “Configure or remove tap-to-text - Make sure you have compatible SMS numbers for your account to use tap-to-text.”We have just set up SMS on the account and the SMS settings are all active and correct. Across list profiles deduplication

Hi Community,I have a question regarding list deduplication. Is there a way to avoid to subscribe to a list for profiles that are already in another list.Right now if someone try to subscribe to list again with the same email address using embeded signup form he received thank you message but Klaviyo don't trigger DOI as this profile is already in list.Is it possible across many lists?

What are are the ways that a profile can be created in Klaviyo?

Hi! So we are trying to determine if there is a disconnect between our Shopify and Klaviyo accounts. One of the issues is there are multiple profiles that have been created in Klaviyo that:1. Are not associated with any lists or segmentsHave 0 activity in their activity log under their profile These profiles haven’t completed any forms that we can find and aren’t customers… so how do we have their names and emails? How were these profiles created?

welcome series flow - how to link best sellers to a welcome series email

I’m in the middle of creating a welcome series and have managed to create the first 2 emails however for the third one it shows the new arrivals template email which has space for 4 products and a description underneath but I can’t figure out how to get the products to be pulled through to the email from the website. Obviously it needs to be integrated so that someone who signs up to the newsletter one week will possibly be sent different new arrivals to someone who signs up the following week. Any help would be much appreciated.

Coupon Filter Suggestion

Just a suggestion that would help a lot for ecommerce businesses - when selecting a coupon we just have three optionsAll orderSelect productsSelect collectionsIt would be really helpful being able to select all products BUT have the opportunity to manually exclude a few. We usually want to exclude 3 products where the discount from welcome/birthday flows would lose money. Having to manually select them can be an issue, as creating a collection without those products in shopify would need to be monitored and it’s nice being able to do everything within Klaviyo.

Coupon AB Tests + Flow AB Tests

Hi!Just wondering if there’s a better way to do this:I’m running ab tests for coupons, with one giving 10% off the first order and the other giving $5 off. They enter the newsletter once they submit the form and I want them to receive a flow variant depending on which offer they saw.Would I do this by using hidden fields in the coupon AB tests to create different properties, and then use those to split the welcome flow depending on what discount thhey saw?At the moment I have the form going to two separate lists (newsletter 1, newsletter 2) and would manually add them into the main newsletter list, where they don’t enter the flow again as they’re excluded. Thanks!

Flow filters vs Conditional Splits

Hi everyone,We’ve recently taken over managing a Klaviyo account, but it’s not our first rodeo.I noticed they had flow filters in place in an Abandoned Basket flow. It was to exclude users that have purchased zero times since the start of the flow which is obviously correct, however...Is the best method to use flow filters or a series of conditional splits?We’ve always setup a multi-email flow up using a series of conditional splits, which effectively perform the same action of the flow filter. I feel this gives us more control of the flow.I also don’t like seeing a huge number of skipped emails due to flow filters. With the conditional splits it sorts them out before the email is triggered, reducing the skipped number.Would love to know your thoughts.

Incentivising without discount codes

Hi,Our website sells digital lessons and resources to schools and teachers.Some of our customer base are unable to use discount codes due to the way our checkout is set up (They bypass the checkout and use net terms to pay). We’ve struggled to find ways to tempt window shoppers into purchasing or engage in our winback flows without the use of a discount code they can use. Are there any other methods that we could use to engage these customers?

Sending Customer to second klaviyo account

Form notifications

Hey there,I have a couple of questions as I am unfamiliar with Klaviyo flows and forms. I have been using another software previously.I have created a form to embed into my customers website but I’ve noticed that the only notification visible to set up for this form is through creating a flow that notifies the owner that the form has been completed? Is there a way to send the details from the form as part of that notification? So for example a client has completed their name, company details, contact details, how they would like to be contacted and their message. None of this information is included in the notification as part of the flow but would be great if it can be? My second question is around the form set up. I have noticed that once the form is set up there is no way to edit the list the collected data is saved to? Can this be made editable so that a new form doesn’t need to be created? Lastly, there is no option to add multiple triggers in a custom flow? Is there a reason for

Current Customer signs to Welcome Series

Hi,what happens, if a current customer signs to the Welcome flow (the flow has the filter “Placed Order Zero times since starting this flow”)?Will current customers get the emails from the flow until they buy with the code or did they not get the emails because they’re already customers?I dont’ want to “punish” current customers, so it would be good, if they get the email with the code.How can I avoid, that a current customer signs in, get the code, unsubscribe and signs in again with the same email address to get the code again?What if a person signs to the Welcome flow who already signed in (without unsubscribing)? How can I add an Email who says: you’ve already signed in?Thanks for your help!

Issue with Started Checkout flow sending users to "/none" [Shopify]

Hi there, I’ve been looking through a few threads and haven’t found an answer to this question yet.  Could someone help me figure out why our Started checkout flow emails are sometimes sending people to a “/none” url?I looked at the activity details for multiple customers that have received the flow under:Analytics > Metrics > Checkout Started > Activity Feed > the three dots to the right of multiple users > Activity Details > and then I see the following under the “$value” branch: "responsive_checkout_url":NULL"checkout_url":NULL When users receive this URL they just basically get sent to a blank page, not even to our site. I’ve tested this and looked at dozens of people’s activity details for the checkout started flow, and it looks like about 30% of them are actually getting a link to their restored cart. The rest are being led to nowhere. Do you have any idea why this is happening?Our Checkout Started flow is setup the default way and hasn’t been changed in over a

How to turn off sign up pop up form on landing pages

Hi - I have a pop up sign up form and I have landing pages I’ve created.  I only want the pop up to come up on my home page on my website.  I want to turn it off for all other landing pages or pages for my website.  How do I do that?  I think it’s confusing when it pops up on landing pages also asking for email sign ups or landing page menus I have created.   Appreciate any guidance.   Using the Modular Shopify theme.

Can I have a custom hosted manage preference page that allows subscribers to opt in and out of lists, not just segments?

Hi, I have a client who has asked me to build a custom hosted manage preference page for them., which I have done. The problem I’m running into is making sure everything is working properly as my client has created lists for each interest choice, as opposed to segments. For example, the options they would like to enable their subscribers to opt in to are shown in the image below. Each option is set up as a list. As I understand it, the best practice with Klaviyo is to have one master list, and then segments to manage preferences, but my client prefers to keep things as they are, by using lists.Based on ‘How to custom code consent pages’ it looks like it should be possible as it states:Information that can be used to target and segment: A checkbox for whether or not the user wants sale announcements A checkbox for whether or not the user wants product announcements A checkbox for whether or not the user wants blog updates Other lists the user may want to join However, everything else
