Hi,I have had a business that had to be closed down and instead I am starting a new business within the same area. I would like to use my old list of customers and inform them about my new business so I wonder if I can import the customer list with an CSV file and in the first email sent out give them an opportunity to Opt out if they are not interested any more?I really hope someone can help me with this question.Have a nice day!Br Åsa
When exporting a list/segment to csv to import to another list, why WOULDN'T I want to include all categories? (Klaviyo ID won't map to next list.)
When exporting a list/segment to csv to import to another list, why WOULDN'T I want to include all categories? (Klaviyo ID won't map to next list.) For reference, I have a main Klaviyo account, but now am shifting to a country specific one, so I need to take all US profiles, export them from the main list and then import them to the US Klaviyo list. And I don’t want to lose any data/info. I first tried to export all categories, but when I was importing them to a new list, the Klaviyo ID didn’t have a box to check or similar item to use. It wasn’t mapped. Can someone help explain this? Do I just import everything except the Klaviyo ID? Is it because each person has a different Klaviyo ID under each Klaviyo account?
A strange thing happened to my Klaviyo account: after creating a segment,I noticed that the members who meet the criterion are not automatically inserted in the segment. I must necessarily update the segment and only in this way are they populated with new members that match the criterion. Sometimes the segment is updated after a few hours, but now, after 16 hours it did not update as well, I had to update myself manually. This causes a problem because some flows start when a member joiuns into a segment. Did a similar thing happen to you too? How can we solve? it's important… thanks so much who help me
Shopify is going all-in on their Metafields implementation. Will Klaviyo add metafields data to their platform? For example: Customer Metafields would be super handy. We could collect all sorts of data and sync it over to Klaviyo. Shopify’s own segmentation tool does handle these use-cases: https://changelog.shopify.com/posts/segment-by-customer-metafields Anyone know if that’s already possible somehow?
Hi, Im trying to create segments based on web actions. So for example for jewellery customers I have created a segment for jewellery views, a segment for add to basket, and a segment for buyers. I would have assumed there would be loads of views, a lot of add to baskets, and a few sales. but this isnt the case. If we have had 373 jewellery buyers, why is there only 52 jewellery add to carts ( I havent excluded purchases from this segment)? and again with views how do we only have 132 jewellery views? Also we just had an order with someone who is on our klaviyo database and bought a kimono. Ive just checked but they are not added to our kimono buyer segment. I know for a fact that they bought something from the kimonos&gowns category, so why do they not get added? instead they get added to potential buyers? is there a way that i can stop this data decay? Thanks :)
Hi all, i have a zap in zapier that should transfer new fb leads to my list in Klaviyo. it was working since yesterday. but it stopped suddenly. i checked the task limits in zapier, contact limits in klaviyo, and I’m not close to the limits. i made a new zap but it didn’t fix it. does anyone has any suggestions?
We have 2 accounts in klaviyo (both accessible from the same user accounts). We’d like to be able to email everyone in “Account A” but not if they are also in “Account B”.Is there a way to do this? We’ve tried:When we try to create segments in “Account A” it of course is not aware of any profiles in “Account B”. The two accounts seem unaware of each other. We’re trying to avoid having to manually export all email addresses from “Account B” and importing into “Account A” every time we send a campaign emailAny suggestions please?
Hello,My account has suddenly grown by nearly 6,000 new subscribers. It is being spammed by foreign email addresses, mostly Russian. Every minute there are hundreds being added. Can you please tell me how to:Stop them from subscribing? Remove all the fake subscribers quickly, eg. by country, without removing the genuine subscribers?Thank you so much for your help.Kind regards,Sarah.
Hello,I’m on Shopify, and have disabled their double opt in. I am using my theme’s newsletter sign up form. When testing email newsletter signs ups, I am getting 2 - 3 emails from Klaviyo. Strangely, from names aren’t all the same. You can see bdelow - they were sent at the same time. How can I ensure customers only receive 1 email?Thank you
I’m trying to organize my lists better. My new sign-ups go to the newsletter list, but old contacts from Mailchimp that accept marketing and aren’t suppressed are in a separate list which needs to be cleaned. My question is what would the best practice be for cleaning the list of old subscribers and moving the remaining subscribers to the newsletter list? Any tips you guys have will be most appreciated.
Hi, I am wondering what’s the best practices to deal with duplicated profiles. I have noticed that some customers have two or more profiles with different emails. I have combined those who obviously have changed the email address - firstly used one, and now the other. But what to do with those that are subscribed to newsletter with one email and when purchasing are using the different one? Should I merge these profiles? Or just do nothing and don’t waste my time?
Newsletter list not syncing with people that sign up using my Signup Form Popup. I'll see em in profiles but they won't get added to my newsletter list. This is quite frustrating, because those sign ups should trigger my Welcome Series sequence. Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance!
Our business has numerous websites. I’d like to be able to create segments of people who visit our other sites. e.g. if you visited Site X , then we can provide you flow Y or exclude people who visited site X is this possible? What code would we install on the other sites ?
Is there a way to create a segment with emails using wildcards or regex? I would like to filter out emails from our business domain with pluses (+) in them. They are generally used as test accounts so we dont need to send marketing materials to all of these internal accounts.Example: firstname.lastname@example.org I tried creating a definition with ‘*+*@domain.com’ but it doesnt find any accounts. Any input is appreciated.
Hello Community I have integrated track API using ASP.net as per reference url https://github.com/zxed/net-klaviyo First name , last name and Email id are able to submit into klaviyo account, but Phone no , address ,city , state ,zip code and country fields values does not pass Could you please help RegardsRamesh
Hi, I’m new to Klaviyo and digital marketing in general so I beg your pardon in advance. I’m using a button on an email to ask a question and generate a result for a custom property (first time). The final sequence of this will re-direct my customer to a landing page thanking them for answering. Do I build this landing page on my website? Is this something Klaviyo provides?
hello everyone i tried creating the list and segment but it is difficult . because my contacts are few and are on another continent and not only that i do not see them as potential buyers. In this case what do you suggest please. Thanks for the support.
