How can I make sure waitlist subscribers receive an email even if they've unsubscribed from the newsletter?
Hi all! I’m trying to figure what the best approach is to ensure that folks who subscribe to a waitlist campaign are notified, even if they decide to unsubscribe from our newsletter. Is there some sort of workaround to ensure that consent remains for one list, but is revoked for the general newsletter?
*newbie alert* apologies if this is basic 101.Somebody (from Klaviyo) created an everybody list for us on our account when we were setting up our account. I have a feeling it was to make sure all suppressed addresses were captured however I’d like to see the ‘rules’ or definitions on how this list comes together so that I can ensure that our Shopify people are being feed into this ‘everybody’ list, but I cannot seem to find any information on how those names get on the list.
Hello everyone, Im wanting to create a new segment of customers that would be interested in submitting feedback for my store and products. I want to ask everyone if they’d be willing to get emailed polls once in a while. I basically want to ask them stuff like “what size shirt do you wear” and send out an email to them with a link to an advanced poll. Im just not sure my newsletter is the right place to put these polls as people might think its spam. I’d be asking in my newsletter if they would mind being added to a new segment. Hopefully this makes sense.
Hey everyone,I want to edit the default Email Confirmation for the DOI but somehow I am not able to edit the button and some text areas. I uploaded a screenshot and marked the areas I cannot edit. Can someone help me resolve this issue?Thank you very much in advance.
Hi guys.I’m trying to create a scratch flow when an account enter in my custom segmentation. The definition of segmentation is this:Now, when I send a personalized email and this accounts open the email for some happens the segmentation, for more accounts no.Also, for accounts featured in my segmentation, they will not be present in the flow and therefore no type of flow will start. Why does this happen? Klaviyo indicates that the segmentation fills up based on the actions performed by the accounts. In this case the accounts appear to perform that action.
I’ve setup integration between the Bluepark ecommerce platform, it was a simple case of adding the API key for Klaviyo into my Bluepark account and the data started flowing. Great!I now have 1000+ profiles in my Klaviyo account, but a big fat 0 in any of my lists. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any “consent status” in any of the profiles. It seems that a profile has been created for anybody who entered their email as part of the checkout process.I have 2 questionsHow do I work out which of the customers are happy to accept email marketing? (this is a question in my Bluepark checkout, but I’m not sure where it shows in Klaviyo)How do I move these customers into my newsletter list automatically? Thanks!
We have a very good customer who’s email has been flagged as suspicious email so has continued to be skipped since March. How do I clear the “suspicious email” tag on her profile?? She isn’t receiving anything from us including abandoned cart and thank you emails.
I currently manage a client account of ~3K subscribers. There are 1K unengaged subscribers the client wanted me to delete, not suppress. I went ahead and first suppressed the contacts, and then deleted them. However when I log back into the account, the number of active profiles is still the same.Am I misunderstanding what exactly the active profiles are?Essentially, the client wants to reduce the active emailable profiles in the billing section since 1/3 of his list is unengaged. However when I log into the billing section, it still shows the same number of billable profiles. Am I doing something wrong?
I have integrated Shopify and Klaviyo but I have two problems: The Newsletter list is not updating from Shopify Launch Page to Klaviyo - I see them as Profiles but they are not in my Segments/Lists. I have already put in the code into my .liquid to enable Newsletter sign ups and automatic syncing. I am unable to set up a Welcome flow > I had set up a Welcome flow to say Hi to new subscribers but it did not sent to the test emails I had put into the specific Subscription list I used.I would really appreciate your help - I tried looking at the Help Centre but I think there is something I’ve missed. Edit: It seems like my Newsletter Subscribers (from my Shopify’s launch page) is being synced with Klaviyo. However, after try to set up my Welcome Series flow..it says my account is suspended for review. Did I do anything wrong that I need to fix?
Hi everyone,I’m wondering if someone can help me out with this! I have a pop-up on my website that says “Sign up for 10%!”, which adds them to my “10% off” list, and triggers a flow to send them a discount code. The problem I’m having is, is that I don’t know how to make sure their e-mail is ALSO added to my “Newsletter” list. I want to keep these separate, because I don’t want people who sign up for my email at my footer to get 10% off also. Does this make sense? If so, is this possible? Any help is appreciated! Thanks so much :)Jean-Luc
My client wants to create a list of people who want to opt out of our Mother’s Day promotions because 2020 was not a good year for aging parents. From this list they want to offer a separate sale the weekend of Mother’s Day. What I am not sure of is how to build the pop up or whatever to get people to put in their name and email without it becoming a nightmare. Should I do it as a preference connected to the list? If so, exactly how do I link to it in the mailer itself? Sorry if I sound dumb, I have spent two days trying to figure this out and I am perplexed.
Hello What api method can I use to retrieve new and existing users with their associated subscriber status? I’ve looked through the documentation but can’t find what ‘m looking for. Is there a way to see for example for time period of 24 hours lets say - who subscribed in that period? Who signed up etc? Is there also a way to access the full customer base using the api and access their current email status? for example if I have 10K emails - can I download them with their associated profiles/subscriber status? Many thanksAdham
We have both subscription and non-subscription products, but I want to report how much revenue from first-time purchasers is coming from Klaviyo flows. We’ve integrated both Shopify and Recharge to Klaviyo, but any help articles I’ve read about this are above my head technically speaking, with lots of code so I am not sure if they’re in the right direction or if there’s a simpler solution.Does anyone know how this is possible? Thank you in advance! Courtney
Hi there! I’m creating a signup form for a list in Klaviyo. Is there a way to add custom parameters to the signup so that I can segment my list later on based on those parameters? As an example, if part of my signup form includes mobile device type (e.g. iPhone, Android) can I pass that value in when the user signs up and then later only text/email users on a list who have iPhones? Many thanks!
Hi, will a customer registration through the Account/Register form on Shopify unsuppress a profile? We had a customer who was suppressed and signed up to create an account on our site and they didn’t get an email for a special product drop. Looked at their profile and saw their account was still suppressed. Not sure if I need to change a setting or if it’s not possible. According to this help article it says a supported 3rd party form will unsuppress it, but not sure if the Account/Registor form in Shopify counts as that. https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005078267-Guide-to-Unsubscribes-in-Klaviyo#when-someone-unsubscribes-and-re-subscribes8 It is important to note that an unsubscribed, and thus suppressed, profile will need to resubscribe either via a Klaviyo form or supported 3rd-party form to be unsuppressed. If you manually upload their profile information again or they resubscribe to a list via another source, such as a Facebook lead ad or some 3rd-party form tools,
Alright…. Hello…So here’s the issue I was attempting some list cleanup. Simple ordinary stuff yeah Well anyways, I was deleting profiles in the Suppressed List and what I didn’t find out until I was done shocked me….. All those profiles I deleted...actually RESUBSCRIBED the unsubscribed suppressed profiles….. essentially all of the unsubscribed profiles are now re-subscribed….. Any solutions?
In the “search for someone” box at the top of every page how to we search for all profiles that are at a domain like @mycompany.com or @mcdonalds.com? We can only search by email handle, like johnsmith and janesmith. We don’t seem able to search by the domain. So if one of our profiles is firstname.lastname@example.org we can only find that profile by searching for johnsmith (or a fragment of that). We can’t find it by @mycompay.com. Seems weird. We often want to find all profiles for specific domain names.
Hello,I ran a campaign for memorial day and would like to do some analysis on the results. Specifically, what which customer acquisition channel were most likely to open/click this campaign. My customers came from a few channels, each are on their own Klaviyo list:Website Pop-up Blog post CTA Giveaway/contest ...etc Basically, what I want to know is how customers in list A differed with their open/click rate compared to list B and C. What is the best way to accomplish this?I know I could manually export emails on the lists, and emails that interacted with a campaign, then do the analysis in Excel…but is there an easy way to do this in Klaviyo? Thanks!
Hi There!I want to clean my list, but I don’t know which one is the best approach.First, I have created a segment of the people that didn’t open any of my e-mails in the last 6 months, in which I put the tag “limbo”.Then, I created another segment with the same structure, but now within the last 45 days (with the same tag). For this segment, I created a flow to send two emails. If the person doesn’t open, I want to put a “Limbo” tag on her. If she opens any of them, I want her to remain active.I don’t want to “suppress” these profiles, because I want to try some re-engagement in the future. So, what is the best way to segment these “inactive” profiles?Should I just exclude the “people that didn’t open any email in the last 45 days” from my campaigns? If she opens any one of the two emails, Will she be removed from that list?Should I create a flow and if she doesn't open anything, I create a “property” Limbo? This will be a problem if the same person goes in this flow 2 times? (Like, cre
