Hi all, I’m very new to Klaviyo and tying to learn lists and segments. We have imported customer data into Klaviyo and I have a certain number of active profiles showing but they aren’t all in the main segment list. I can’t work out how to get them all showing in a master/main list so I can then start segmenting them. I thought I might be able to export the active profiles via a CSV so I could then upload them into a master/main list but this doesn’t appear anywhere as an option. Any help anyone has on this would be greatly appreciated. Tabetha
Hi there! Say if I were to create a survey using Google form (its free!), what is the best practice to have the information collected from each form question directly synced/ updated into the Klaviyo’s customer profiles? I know that we can use Typeform/ Survicate to create the survey as these 2 survey platforms have direct integration with Klaviyo. However, I am trying to explore other ways that could possibly save up cost.
There are often two customers related to our business, the adult child and their parent. The adult child may be the one that makes the purchase and has the product shipped to their parent. That means the name and email address in the profile is for the adult child but their parent is the end user and who our informational email messages are geared toward. Is it possible to have more than one email address and name under one profile so they both receive the emails? If not, when we do get an email address for the end user, which is rare, do we need to manually set up a new profile for them and create a work around to trigger the email flow for them?
Hi - thank you for reading this, I wish to know a certain information about some of my profiles (some I already know the information about) -> specifically “role”.Is there a smart way to get this information?Create a segment (that doesn’t have the property “role”), and send them an email, and get them to click something. How would you suggest I collect this? Create “list” -> “add a subscription page” -> “subscribe” -> create the fields with the specific values I need? Or something else..?
Hi there I am working on my Preference pages. I know that I have to do it under each list, but if I send to a Segment (see picture) then the Preference page for a list is not used. Do I need to ad the list the campaign and the the segement? to make sure that the right Peference page is used?
Hello!I’m hoping someone can help me out a bit since I’ve gotten stuck :(I’m preparing some new flows that will go out to all customers, but I want to offer the option to unsubscribe to these flows specifically (since these flows are about a particular feature). My concern right now is that if someone unsubscribes, they will unsubscribe from all emails entirely. While I know we can make list-specific unsubscribe options, I would need to use a segment. Is there any way to make an unsubscribe option for a segment only? Thank you!!

Hi! Trying to clean up my suppressed email list - I see there are users invalid emails with typo, some who entered it while at checkout and proceeded to complete a purchase.Under suppression list, these users appear either under ‘bounced’ or under ‘invalid email’.I wanted to create a segment to gather them all so I can fix the typo in their email addresses, but I see no option to do so. Is there a suggestion on how to solve? Thank you,Hila
Hi there, I have multiple issues with Klaviyo, but the most urgent one is this: I have a sign up form to collect new subscribers. Subscribers from this form should automatically receive a first “welcome” flow. Before I send a specific campaign to them. But here’s the issue: Profiles who signed don’t get added to the subscribers list (I just found them by coincidence). I had to make a snapshot in order to create a new list, which I also added as a trigger to my welcome flow. So now, the welcome flow has another trigger (members of this new list). But I just checked the “send messages” overview on each profile and there was nothing. And also no flow attached to each profile. Now I am asking myself, how this should ever work. If I have to send each e-mail manually since the flow doesn’t work, what should I use Klaviyo for?
Hi Everyone,I’m interested in improving our Welcome series of emails to make the journey more personalised for our subscribers. I would like to ask a simple question in the first email and provide two answer options. I would then like to segment the subscribers depending on which answer they choose - so we can then tailor the remainder of their welcome journey based on their interests.Does anyone know how I can set up this segmentation? Thanks,Mary
Hi,I have had a business that had to be closed down and instead I am starting a new business within the same area. I would like to use my old list of customers and inform them about my new business so I wonder if I can import the customer list with an CSV file and in the first email sent out give them an opportunity to Opt out if they are not interested any more?I really hope someone can help me with this question.Have a nice day!Br Åsa
Hi everyone! In regards to users that abuse welcome forms and constantly keep entering using multiple different emails, is there a way to either identify, block or suppress further sign-ups from a specific IP? I’ve already identified 4 of their aliases via the codes they used but I want to double check my lists to see if they have any additional emails that have been recently submitted to gain more discount codes. Cheers, Theodore
Will a user go through my flow again if they sign up for another form that re-adds them to the List?
Hi there I have two signup forms on my website that are collecting emails to the same list. One of the signup forms has a Profile Property “Hvalpebog” attached. Is it possible that profiles that already is a member of the list, will receive another flow, when signing up again with the signup form with the Profile Property? Best Erik
Hello,My account has suddenly grown by nearly 6,000 new subscribers. It is being spammed by foreign email addresses, mostly Russian. Every minute there are hundreds being added. Can you please tell me how to:Stop them from subscribing? Remove all the fake subscribers quickly, eg. by country, without removing the genuine subscribers?Thank you so much for your help.Kind regards,Sarah.

Hey all! Newbie here 😉 So - I’ve read other threads here regarding setting up a survey that links back to your manage preferences page (and subscribe form...).I don’t want to use Typeform which I see being suggested. My goal is to send out a series of campaigns, or even monthly campaigns, asking my subs to choose certain things - aka a survey. I would like whatever they click on to be added to their profile as a custom property. Not sure how to do this best? How do people run surveys natively in their campaigns and then have the property added automatically?Would I maybe set up embedded sign up forms on specific pages that I create for each survey (pages in shopify) and then have those fields link to the properties?Does that make any sense at all??🤔Or am I way over complicating it and there’s a better way?OR is my brain totally fried at this point from an entire week of setting up my new Klaviyo account and reading tons of technical articles...😝Thanks in advance for ANY and all help!
Okay, so I’m setting up a lead form ad on Facebook. The goal is that the leads will be sync’d up with a list and flow in Klaviyo. However, when I try to link the list with the facebook lead ad in the settings I get this error, Error validating access token: Sessions for the user are not allowed because the user is not a confirmed user. What does it mean and how do i fix it? Thanks a million.
Hello, guys! Nice meeting you all.I’m Aljon from Philippines, new to Klaviyo!I am just curious why I cannot view the same number of member/s under “sign-up forms” and “Lists and Segments”. This is just for trial and practice and I already have one (1) new subscriber and I can view it under “Sign-up form” but still zero (0) in “Lists and Segments”.Hoping I explained it correctly. Thank you guys in advance! Regards!
