I have three lists that I want to merge, and assign two different flows to it.
Hello! I’m quite new to Klaviyo and, since my previous provider had a different system, I made a mistake when setting up my lists.I currently have:one list for new subscribers with a discount code one list for new subscribers without a discount code a regular, “main” Marketing list (where everyone would have been directed to before Klaviyo, once they went through their welcome series)Having understood this to be “wrong,” I now wish to have just one single marketing list, but with two Welcome Series flows (one with a discount code, one without). My questions are:How do I add the present Discount and Non-Discount Welcome Series flows to my main Marketing list (since they are currently in the other two separate lists I want to delete) How do I change the flows to point to my Marketing list instead of the current discount and non-discount lists I wish to delete? Is it safe to delete those lists I’ll no longer be using after redirecting all new subscribers to the main list?I hope I’ve explai
Viewed Product Shows in Activity but NOT in Segment
Greetings, We are seeing “Viewed Product” tracked in the activity log, complete with URL, ProductID, Name, and so on. However, when creating a segment to try to isolate users who have viewed a specific product, the segment returns null. I am able to find a user (or group of users) who fit the parameters in the activity feed, but the segment does not include them. Segment setup is super simple: Any ideas?
How To Filter Profiles to Ensure Compliance and Deliverability
Hi everyone!I am new to the platform and our company have a list of approximately 30K contacts over years in business. We want to upgrade our plan and want to know if there is a tool to help filter out bad contacts before starting a campaign. We want to ensure deliverability and compliance as best as we could! I already emailed support and waiting for their response. Although if anyone has experience with we would appreciate your help! Thank you!
List or Segment for our POS retail and another for our Online e-commerce
We have both an e-commerce store and ship all over the country, and a local retail store in our hometown. How can we set up a segment or list for the two different “locations?” We use Shopify POS for our retail store and Shopify website builder for our e-commerce. Thanks!
How can I send customer a thank you for subscribing email when they subscribe immediately
How can I send customer a simple thank you for subscribing email when they subscribe? I have a flow set up but it can take hours for the first email to arrive if at all. All I want to do is create a ‘Thank you for subscribing’ email with a discount code that will arrive in their inbox straight after they have subscribed. that is all. I don’t want them to have to do the ‘double opt-in’. I’ve set it to Single Opt-in, but they aren’t receiving an email straight away. This was so easy in Mailchimp and I’ve spent hours now trying to sort this, any help would be appreciated!
Help Creating a Segment
Hi everyone! Seeking assistance with creating a dynamic list on Klaviyo and would like to tap into all of your collective knowhow. So here is what I am trying to accomplish. I would like to create a dynamic list with the following criteria:1. Order Date is between 7-14 days (so 1 week after purchase)2. Order status is unfulfilledThe idea is to create a campaign which would be able to send automated emails to customers that have unfulfilled orders between 7-14 days. Then we would create another campaign which would send automated emails to customers with unfulfilled orders between 14-21 days, etc. New here to Klaviyo and just getting the hang of things, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!Have a good day!
Churn Risk Segment Question
What’s the best way to come up with the number of days to use in this Churn Risk Segment?https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035312491-Advanced-segmentation-reference#h_6eaf0425-d77d-4a33-a89d-7aadd5dd5871 I’ve tried doing a list export with average days between orders exported along with it, then calculating the average of the average number of days between orders and using that… Is this the way to do it, or is there a better way? Thanks!
How can you segment all emails that subscribed/enter your list over all time? Whether they are still subscribed or unsub already
I would love to know how I can put all the emails that have subscribed and unsubscribed in a store. This means all emails that has ever been connected in a store from the very beginning up until present...all of them. What should be the definition when you're segmenting them? Thanks so much
Mailchimp Integration and lists
Hello!I am in the process of moving from Mailchimp to Klaviyo and am wondering if I should clean my list in Mailchimp before integrating with Klaviyo? I have gone through some of the tutorials on list cleaning and I understand that you can create flows in Klaviyo to clean your lists, but isn’t it better to start with a clean engaged list that is imported from Mailchimp?Thank so much, I look forward to any feedback!
Segmenting List by multiple FSA/Partial Zipcode
HI All, I’m trying to create a segment of my newsletter subscribers by the first three digits of their postal code (FSA). I have 36 different FSAs that I want to filter on. Is there any way to load multiple filters in creating the definition for the segment instead of having to add an “OR” to the definition 36 times? Any suggestions are much appreciated.Thank you.
Encouraging customers to subscribe to newsletters
Hi all,I have a bit of a dilemma. Our top goal is to grow our Newsletter list, we want to do this by encouraging customers to sign up to receive notifications for items they’re interested that will be available for preorder in the near future. Currently, we “hide” upcoming products behind a password protected sign up form. Once the customer signs up, ideally, they would receive an email that provides the password AND subscribe them to the newsletter. Once inside the product page, they can then sign up to receive notifications about that specific product (thus adding them to a specialized list outside of the newsletter). I’m having trouble figuring out how we can get them to sign up for the newsletter, but also receive a password? Or vice versa? If the first option isn’t possible, is there a way in the password email to at the very least, encourage them to sign up for the newsletter? Is there a link we can format into the email that once they click it, signs them up for the newsletter?Th
Segment based on Filled Out Lead Ad before Placing an Order
hi there! i was trying to create a segment that will include people who placed orders but only after they have filled out a facebook lead ad, and I couldn’t figure out how to create the condition - that the order was only after the ad when I create the segment...any ideas? Thank you
Which Engagement Track segments to use?
I have a query regarding Engagement Tracks and the Daily, Weekly and Monthly categorisation.I’ve re-read this article 2 or 3 times:https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037527052-How-to-Create-a-Sending-Schedule-Based-on-Email-EngagementDo I make the decision to send daily, weekly or monthly and then set up the Tracks? Or do I have to set up Tracks A-E for every category? Then how do I use the track segments?I'm confused...
I can't segment profiles well by color variation or SKU.
I can't segment profiles well by color variation or SKU. "Ordered Product" is set up with color variations and SKUs, but it also sends different colors and SKUs. Is there a better way? Even if I set the color variation to black and buy pink, I get an email here with the black segment.
Tag customers with multiple tags in list
Hello,I’m a Klaviyo paid subscriber and have 1 list, the default “Newsletter” list. This is connected to Shopify and auto syncs subscribers who opt-in either via Shopify at checkout or via the Shopify sign-up forms. In addition, I have a Klaviyo sign-up form that also populates the list.In addition to this we have IRL physical events that people will register for external to Shopify. These event attendees may already exist in our main “Newsletter” list from Shopify, attending a prior IRL event, or otherwise wanting to subscribe.I want to be able to subscribe the event attendees to the “newsletter” list, however, I want to add a tag that specifies which event(s) or which years they’ve been part of. The issue I’m facing is this:User email@example.com attends NYC2021 IRL event and consents to subscribing to email. We import firstname.lastname@example.org and add a tag of NYC2021 so far, so good. User email@example.com attends NYC2022 IRL event and checks that they consent to subscribing to email once a
How can I effectively segment my lists for category page viewers?
Hi, Im looking for advice on how to effectively segment my lists - I have a store that sells kimonos and jewellery. I have created segments for people who have viewed product or bought product from each category. However I have the issue of people coming onto the website and viewing the category page but not viewing a specific product meaning they dont get segmented. Now as far as I can tell, I can create a rule to segment for viewed product contains xyz but I cannot create a rule for viewed category page. I should also mention that they are being subscribed to a single main list and then being segmented from that list. One solution I have is if i want to send a newsletter about kimonos, I can send to my list and then exclude jewellery buyers/ viewers. However, the issue with this is that I have people who still come onto the jewellery category but dont view products, and thus dont get segmented. So then these people still end up recieving my kimono newsletter when they arent interest
Removing the Event Value From Profile Activity Object
Hello. When posting a profile activity via Klaviyo’s API, the activity object has a value property that is named according to the event, e.g. if the event is “Exception” the property will be “Exception Value: 0.00”. How do I remove this property? I’m not sure why it is populating automatically.
Why was my Welcome Flow sent to Current, not New Subscribers?
Hello - I’m new to Klaviyo and set up a welcome email. I found that if users subscribe to my newsletter on my shopify site, they don’t get added to the newsletter list in klaviyo and don’t get a welcome email. I wen’t through and manually tagged all existing subscribers in shopify with the “newsletter” tag which finally put them on the newsletter list, but RESENT a welcome email to all current subscribers - from months ago. This is infuriating as now I have to send out another email to explain the error and risk unsubscribes. Why would the system welcome subscribers that are legacy??
