Hello, Does anyone know of a way to code into an email an option for customers to add themselves to specific lists? For example, I head an overhead business, Business 1, that encompasses three tributary but connected businesses, Business A, B, and C. When users sign up for the mailing list, they sign up with Business 1 and therefore receive info related to business 1A, 1B, and 1C. But if someone only has interest in content relating to 1A or 1C or 1B and 1C, is there a way to send through an email an option for the customer to opt in and out of certain lists? Thanks!
Hi,I'm working on creating an easy-to-use preference page that allows customers to control their email preferences. One idea is to include a frequency option on the preference page, where customers can choose how often they want to receive emails (e.g., once a week, once biweekly, or once per month). This will help us avoid exhausting our list and ensure we're respecting their preferences. However, I'm facing a challenge when it comes to incorporating these preferences into our existing flows. With over 10 live flows, simply using segments won't be sufficient to include all marketing communications based on these preferences. I'm wondering if there's a more effective and practical solution that I might be overlooking. Do you have any insights or suggestions on the most effective and easy-to-execute approach for giving customers control over their email preferences?Thank you,
I have a client who is in Canada and segments their list based on a Profile property Language = en or Language = fr. If we use Facebook lead gen ads to synch new emails to their main Newsletter list, is there a way for us to capture data from facebook Facebook to automatically add with the Language property setting based on the ad or form used to capture the lead?
I’ve setup integration between the Bluepark ecommerce platform, it was a simple case of adding the API key for Klaviyo into my Bluepark account and the data started flowing. Great!I now have 1000+ profiles in my Klaviyo account, but a big fat 0 in any of my lists. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any “consent status” in any of the profiles. It seems that a profile has been created for anybody who entered their email as part of the checkout process.I have 2 questionsHow do I work out which of the customers are happy to accept email marketing? (this is a question in my Bluepark checkout, but I’m not sure where it shows in Klaviyo)How do I move these customers into my newsletter list automatically? Thanks!
Hi! Trying to clean up my suppressed email list - I see there are users invalid emails with typo, some who entered it while at checkout and proceeded to complete a purchase.Under suppression list, these users appear either under ‘bounced’ or under ‘invalid email’.I wanted to create a segment to gather them all so I can fix the typo in their email addresses, but I see no option to do so. Is there a suggestion on how to solve? Thank you,Hila
Hi there, the latest email sign ups via Shopify password newsletter page wont sync with my Klaviyo account. 'This has not been an issue before. I've already checked the integrations settings in shopify and everything looks fine and integrated with Klaviyo. Please advise what else I can do to fix it. Thanks
I didn’t do my homework and have been deleting suppressed profiles mistakenly thinking those were individuals that didn’t want to receive my emails so why keep them on my list. However, even deleted, those profiles are still counting against me as active profiles and being billed for a lot more profiles than I actually have. How can I permanently delete these now non-existent profiles so my account and stats track against my true number of active profiles? Thank you!

Hi, I have a shopify markets account with multiple shops (URLs) under it. When someone checksout, they are automatically added to email marketing (unless they uncheck this themselves). Now I would like to add these customers to the general newsletter list (divided by country). As these are multiple lists, I cannot link this to one particular list via intergrations. I have already created segments so that everyone who accepts marketing is divided by country. Now I would like to create a flow where I indicate that when a customer accepts email marketing via the checkout, they are added to the general email list. Unfortunately, I cannot find this option when setting up a flow. Is there another way to automatically add these customers to the general list? Thank you in advance!
I’m trying to create a segment of people who purchase one of eight specific items. I’m integrating with Lightspeed POS to pull inventory items.I tried setting it up this way: Placed Order > at least once > over all time > Items. But only four of the eight items are available to select. I also tried putting the items into categories, but only one of the four Parent Categories I created is visible. Is a category or parent category NOT available if someone hasn’t purchased it yet?
I can't segment profiles well by color variation or SKU. "Ordered Product" is set up with color variations and SKUs, but it also sends different colors and SKUs. Is there a better way? Even if I set the color variation to black and buy pink, I get an email here with the black segment.
I have a client who’s business in in Canada. I am looking for clarity on whether we can send Abandon Checkout Emails to site visitors who have not opted in to receive email marketing.CASL compliance seems a bit different from GDPR and I cannot find any exact information around Abandon Checkout Emails.CASL required explicit consent for marketing emails, but implicit consent for certain transactional emails. Does the user entering their email at checkout fall under implicit consent and therefore we can legally send them abandon checkout emails? These emails are automatically sent when a user enters their email details into the website at checkout, even if they have not opted into email marketing.Or do I need to set up a trigger in the Abandon Flow to exclude anyone who hasn’t joined a list? This seems to be a very grey area so hoping for some clarity as excluding users who have not opted into marketing emails will exclude a large portion of users, thus reducing the power of email signific
I’m creating a segment of people who have placed an order, but only want to include those who have actively subscribed to email marketing. Some profiles in our Klaviyo account have a status of ‘never subscribed’ (i.e. a yellow checkmark). Is there a way to exclude these people from the segment?
Tidio>Klavyio did an import, profiles flagged with "accepts marketing' are not going into my newsletter list...
So I’m having a frustrating time with Klaviyios Newsletter lists.People never seem to show up often directly from Shopify (even though they accept marketing by default) or heck when importing from an Excel (off Tidio), even though these are people flagged with ‘accepts marketing', they’re still not making it into my list… I mean I even imported them directly into the list! And they’re still not there. What is going on? Can someone please help. How can I even flag, them into that list in Klavyio? as another question
I want to sync users that have already registered on website with theme default register form, not via Klaviyo sign up form, so it doesn`t appear on the newsletter list, every time I have to use a third party plugin to export users, does Klaviyo have this feature? so how to sync automatically?
Hi!I would like to split the profiles entering in my flow based on country. Unfortunately many of the profiles from a branch (India) falls into the other branch (Rest of the world). Any idea why? I tried to use as split configuration:Propreties about someone > country > equals > IndiaandPropreties about someone > country > is in > IndiaBut so far no luck, profiles from India still goes in the wrong branch. Thanks for any help!
Hello,Sometimes, I want to target several SKUs at one time, but it takes a really long time to repeat the same process for each SKU.Is there a way to input multiple properties at once? (I tried a comma, but it didn’t work)Ex. I want to target people who’ve viewed at least 1 of 20 SKUs on our site in the last 30 days. To accomplish this, I would need to:What someone has done (or not done) Has Viewed Product → at least once → in the last → 30 → days where Product SKU equals [SKU]Then I would have to repeat 20 times.Would be great if we can copy the above so at least don’t have to redo all the steps again Better if we can just separate inputs with a comma, or semicolon…Thank you.
Hello Klaviyo team.I have a Registration Form inserted in my website and I want to differentiate the answers of my potential clients in different lists or segments. Can this be done? For example: I want to have a list/segment with only the customers that DO have a website versus another list/segment with only the customers that DO NOT have a website Web Site: https://agenciaindependiente.cl/a/pf_preview?id=a77cca0b-3b36-4688-bbfc-c0d9045f0659PW: 1212
Okay, so I’m setting up a lead form ad on Facebook. The goal is that the leads will be sync’d up with a list and flow in Klaviyo. However, when I try to link the list with the facebook lead ad in the settings I get this error, Error validating access token: Sessions for the user are not allowed because the user is not a confirmed user. What does it mean and how do i fix it? Thanks a million.
