1- How do I add subscribers to another list other than the one that initiated the flow? In the orange arrow, I want to copy them to the group, Receiving Welcome Series Emails as well.2- Also, is there a way to add subscribers to a new group/list once they finish an email sequence?
I noticed I had a good amount of fake emails added to my newsletter list via Shopify. I have deleted these accounts but was wondering if Klaviyo auto updates my lists to reflect that change?I have since uploaded a csv file with all of the current emails and added them to my newsletter list. Does Klaviyo remove duplicate email addresses within the same list?
Hi there,We have an existing account and our company (we’ll call it domain A) has acquired a content creator (domain B) in a related field. We want to start a newsletter for Domain B within our existing account, and I have some questions in order to make sure we get this set up correctly from the beginning. First some background:The newsletter will link to articles published on Domain B’s website The newsletter will occasionally feature Shopify product feeds from Domain A’s website We’ll need subscribe forms on Domain A’s website Eventually, Domain B will be completely absorbed by Domain A and no longer exist as a separate website Domain B does not currently have a newsletter or even an email listThe questions:Can we set up the new list for Domain B’s newsletter in Domain A’s account and use a ‘From’ address like DomainB@DomainA.com? Can we segregate the lists so that unsubscribing from one, does not unsubscribe from the other? It’s our assumption that there will be people who want the
Hi everyone,I am looking to import a list of subscribers into Klaviyo. This list was put together over the last 4 years with a form for the person to subscribe to a newsletter. Double opt in was required. These subscribers never received any newsletters. Some of them are recent sign ups while others are much older (> 6 mo). Also, this list remains in the same company, with the same target audience and purpose. My questions are:What are best practices in this case? Do I request approval from everyone in the list? (even if they signed up recently?) Do I request approval from people after a certain date in the past? Are there risks of using this list now? Thank you! Have a great day and I appreciate your comments.
Hello. I would like to create a master list of our app users. I would like new users to receive our onboarding flow. However, I also have older users that I’d like to add to the list but do not want them to receive the onboarding. Is there a way to add both groups to one master user list and suppress older users from receiving the onboarding?
Hello - I’m new to Klaviyo and set up a welcome email. I found that if users subscribe to my newsletter on my shopify site, they don’t get added to the newsletter list in klaviyo and don’t get a welcome email. I wen’t through and manually tagged all existing subscribers in shopify with the “newsletter” tag which finally put them on the newsletter list, but RESENT a welcome email to all current subscribers - from months ago. This is infuriating as now I have to send out another email to explain the error and risk unsubscribes. Why would the system welcome subscribers that are legacy??
HiFollwed the help in Klaviyo to create an unengaged segment. I then moved these profiles to Supressed profiles. After doing this I noticed around 500 profiles out of the 10,000 are still in the unengaged segment. I repeated the supress action but they are still there. Why would this be and what do I do about it please? Thanks
Okay firstly, I am not sure if the drop down menus in my screenshot are ‘dimensions’ but that’s what I am calling them until someone corrects me :) What I am attempting to do below is create a segment of people who have purchased a certain product, our Kendal Pant. The issue here is when I selected the dimension: “Kendal Pant” the segment only generated 34 people, which is completely inaccurate. So what I was starting to do was add each and every single variant of the Kendal Pant as an “OR”—which you can see I was doing in the screenshot with the “Kendal - Bone - 2XL” ‘OR’ and so on...Am I creating more work for myself? Is there an easier way to do this? And is there a way to ensure that there is only one dimension per product?Sorry if this was confusing. Would appreciate any help! Cheers
So I’m about to merge a bunch of lists… I have a segment that is pulling in all the profiles, which i’ll export, then add a specific custom property to each profile which will correspond to a flow filter for flows that are triggered by list membership ( as outlined in this klaviyo doc)I think I’m pretty much ready to pull the trigger (pun intended) but what I want to clarify is…If all my current profiles get this new property (I’m calling it “Origin_Merged_Exclude_Trigger” with a value of “Yes”), what does the flow filter do to new profiles that have NO value for this property? Will they still enter the flow as intended? I’m just a bit concerned about the “doesn’t equal”...Hope this makes sense! Thanks!
When I export a list manually from Klaviyo, I can choose all of the property (i.e. column) available from those lists. In my case I have 66 properties(data) for each of lists members, but when I pull them from the API, I can only extract 33 properties from each members from a single pull.Is there any way for me to extract the other 33 properties available from a single pull?
Hi Everyone, I’m looking checking my console log to see why the join waitlist button appears on the wrong variant. It seems that the click/listener is 1 variant behind when listing hence, the variant tracked is not in sync with the click of the person.https://jilllao.com/products/amelia-cut-out-trench-dress?variant=41653758165158SHould be the 0/out of stock variant but the waitlist appears on the other variant after clicking the out of stock variant.
Howdy! I’m trying to update this profile:Klaviyo ProfileEmail Property1doc@test.com X …with this file:Imported CSV FileEmail Property1doc@test.com Y Y shows up as Sample Data in the import review, but X is not changing to Y within profile after import. Shouldn’t Property1 = Y after import or am I misinterpreting what the expected behavior should be?I’m referencing: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005074627-Guide-to-Properties…where it says “Contacts that do not already have their own profiles will have new ones created. Otherwise, any new column value will be added to their existing profile. … Any column that already exists on a contact's profile will be overwritten by the most recent upload. “Any help appreciated.
I’m trying to segment a list from an A/B/C split test email that went out.The segment was created, then the campaign was split test. Two groups got unique offers. The third group got no offer.I’d like to follow up with the groups that got offers to remind them they expire soon. How can I do this? I can't currently even see who got which email.
HiHopefully someone has experience of this as I can’t believe we’re the first to try this.We want to do an onsite survey for website visitors. It’s a 3 question survey to get a steer on why they are browsing and what help we can give them.Question 2 depends on the answer to question 1, question 3 depends on the answer to question 2.Klaviyo can’t handle the answers triggering different follow-on questions so they advised using Typeform. It ends up with customers dropping into 1 of 8 different “categories” after question 3. Each of which we will handle through different flows.Has anyone done similar and how do you link each “category” with a segment in Klaviyo? Hope that all makes sense. ThanksAndrew
Hi, I've created a segment to pick up AUS and NZ country profiles. Properties about someone > country > equals > Australia Properties about someone > country > equals > New ZealandI have about 500 profiles that fit this but the segment isn't pulling anyone in… Do I have to wait a while or am I missing something?
Hi Klaviyo Community, I’m in the industry that sells tech. So most of my products are ranging about $500-1000. I’ve been trying to figure out what segmentation techniques I can apply to ensure that i’m targeting the right customers. Any suggestions?Specifically for Email Campaigns, which can be Holiday marketing, Discounts, etc.
Just starting out and want to do this cleanly…How many Lists should I have? One Youtuber suggested a list for Signup Forms, Newsletter and Checkout.Another article suggested just having one main Master list into which everything flows. I like the idea of keeping it simple - one list. But does that cause trouble later? Like, if everybody is dumping into a Master list, how do I identify who came in from a Signup Form, and who came from a Checkout experience, etc? What is best practice for a good, efficient workflow as things get more complex?
Hi, we have a direct to consumer business which is great as the customer data flows in from woocommerce to klaviyo. However we also use klaviyo for our B2C email broadcasts. We receive our wholesale orders via three methods:Some of our wholesale customers order via our webiste (woocommerce) so their data flows into Klaviyo this way - these are easy. Some wholesale customers place orders direclty with us via email so their order data does not flow into klaviyo. Some wholesale customers place orders through distributors - we have some but not all of their email addresses. Some of these larger customers (with 20 or 30 stores) seem to have a block on klayiyo emails arriving in their inboxes as I have tested subsets and had no deliveries so I revert to contacting them directly via email anyway!Would love to hear suggestions on best practice around keeping our B2C database updated. (2) and (3) require manual updating which gets confusing. Are you using Klaviyo as a crm for your key customer da
Hi,I have a customer who is trying to sign up for my newsletter, she got all the confirmation emails alongside the GDPR etc and has received the discount code, but her email is not showing up in my newsletter list. I’ve also received a new profile from another customer who signed up using my form on my website but her email isn’t showing up on my newsletter list either. Plus I’ve not received any emails from Klaviyo letting me know I have two new subscribers. Any ideas what’s happening here please?I tweaked my sign up form slightly the other week but it all said it was live on my dashboard so I’m not sure that would have affected it? Many thanks,Kate
Hi all (first question!), When assigning products to a segment definition, I can’t see a way of selecting multiple products that meet my criteria at the same time. For example:We’re a soda business.Let’s say I want to target anyone that has bought cherry flavoured soda in the past.In the search bar, I type in ‘cherry’ which brings up all of our cherry sodas, with the small selection boxes on the left. There’s no ‘select all button’ (that I can see), and when I tick one product, instead of remaining on that search result screen, Klaviyo jumps out of it. I’ve tried the usual trick of holding down the ‘ctrl’ key, which usually works for multiple selections, but not here. I have to click each product and then rerun the search each time (which gets tedious when adding 50+ products to each definition!). Any guidance on this would be extremely helpful! Thank you :-)
HI Guys,I’m new to Klaviyo, and moving from another program. I’m just starting to work everything out before I completely move all my work flows over..I integrated my Shopify store then did a huge cleanup of customer profiles in Shopify (deleted inactive accounts Shopify) but Klaviyo is still showing these and counting them towards my usage. How do I get Klaviyo to reflect the correct number of profiles (delete the removed Shopify profiles). Thanks advance❤️ Stevie
