Sync with Mailchimp, 2 Stores and Duplicate Lists Issues
Hi everyone, Since we have 2 accounts and one Mailchimp account it's getting complicated. As I already imported the data manually and inserted them into one of the lists we already had it's creating the same audiences. That was my concern there are a lot of duplicate audiences right now with the separate lists. I only sync for Kismet by Milka Global and haven't started for the Turkish one. I'd exported the data manually from Mailchimp except unsubscribed ones. All I need to get unsubscribed audiences and click/open data and suppress all unsubscribed. We had separate lists in Maichimp both global and turkish one and there is no way distinguish them while taking the click/open data. If I go for sync only specific lists from Mailchimp, this time click/open datas aren’t pull from Mailchimp. All I want is distiguish the unsubscribed ones and the click and open data ones. The other ways looks too difficult.. I can delete the Turkish lists from Global and vice versa. But there are a lot of du
Manually Merging a profile: Klaviyo doesn't recognize second profile
Hello! I am trying to merge two profiles together. Both profiles show in the search results when I search the customer by name. But when I try to merge the two, Klaviyo doesn’t recognize the second profile.Any help would be greatly appreciated!Sherri
Can I choose the properties that fields default to when importing CSV?
We often import CSVs to our database with custom properties like ‘Order ref’ ‘Error’. When uploading these CSV files, these fields will very often auto default to the incorrect properties - see image belowIs there a way we can configure these properties to match up within Klaviyo so that they default to the correct types once uploaded in the future?
How can I gather pregnancy-related data to send emails related to their trimester?
The SituationI am building a life-time order flow for a pregnancy-related products. We currently ask people their stage, but this does not give us enough detail.Instead, I need to create a property that allows me to estimate their approx. birth week by asking them how many weeks they are.The idea is to have an integer property “weeks_pregnant_at_sign_up”I will attempt to get them to complete this on signup and if they don’t prompt them to complete this via emails. The GoalI need to create two custom integer properties without assigning a value via a subscriber’s profile as I do not know what this is. One will be: “weeks_pregnant_at_sign_up”Another is: “estimated_weeks_till_birth” - which can positive and negative.I will then have a Flow which runs every day updating “estimated_weeks_till_birth” which I will use in my flows to recommend relevant products, tips and other information. The Questions#1. Is there an easy way (not using an API ideally) to create the two integer values propertie
How to talk to customers with low AOV?
Hi everyone in Klaviyo community, I have a challenge that I can’t seem to figure out and some ideas would mean a lot. I have a lot of first-time byers with low AOV ($10 - $20) which I see as a great opportunity to follow up, but I can’t seem to find a way to communicate with them and have them come back. I have a lot of different products in different categories and not sure how to segment them or build a post purchase flow for them.My repeat customer rate is 9-10%.Thanks in advance,Snow
Add Klaviyo profiles to list
Hi there - We need to add all of our profiles in Klaviyo to a single list, so that we can delete the profiles (you can’t delete profiles without a list). We can’t seem to find any way to add our *profiles* to a list. The only options are uploading a CSV, but that doesn’t help us delete the profiles so… Thank you for any help - neither the support email nor chatbot are working
Segmenting based on customer 'Product Ordered' = 'Product Type' in Shopify
Hi there,I am wanting to create segments based on the Product Types people order from Shopify. E.g A customer orders ‘product a’ from my Shopify store and ‘product a’ has a ‘Product Type’ of T-Shirt. Seems like a pretty stock standard detail to pull from Shopify orders but i cannot find those metrics anywhere in Klaviyo. Am i missing something here? Any help would be great. Thanks
Profiles in Segment. Where are they coming from?
Hello! I created a new segment of profiles that are NOT suppressed and have received 0 emails over time. The list is very large and I am trying to figure out where these people are coming from and if it is ok to send an email campaign to them. They are not on my Main list which is rather confusing. I am fairly new to Klayvio and email marketing in general so I am struggling to understand these sort of things. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
How do I get a segment of customers who have spent over a certain amount in the last X days?
I am looking to create a segment of customers who have spent $1000 within the last 180 days. However, as we offer subscriptions, many of our subscribers have already spent $1000 on our website within this timeframe. Can I create a tag to exclude these subscribers from the segment? Is this possible? Do you have any better ideas?Thank you."
How do I clear a suspicious tag on an email so it stops skipping
We have a very good customer who’s email has been flagged as suspicious email so has continued to be skipped since March. How do I clear the “suspicious email” tag on her profile?? She isn’t receiving anything from us including abandoned cart and thank you emails.
Subscribers keep getting added to the wrong list despite all efforts.
Hello community, I know that there are similar topics like this, and trust me when I say that I’ve tried everything. Here is the issue, I'm having difficulty with getting my Shopify subscribers getting added to the list that I want on Klaviyo. There are two lists, a pre-launch list and the newsletter list. The integration of Shopify and Klaviyo is already successful, also I’ve synced my Shopify email subscribers to Klaviyo and I’ve as well synced it to the list, “Newsletter”. I also have set the DOI for the Newsletter list, but every time I try testing where the subscribers would get added to (with one of my emails), I only get the confirmation message that was initially set for the pre-launch list, and when I confirm, my email get added to the pre-launch list and not the Newsletter list. Would deleting the Pre-launch list help? Although I am afraid that if I delete the Pre-launch list, the emails would get added to somewhere I do not know of (I’ve been a website developer and I have P
Suspicious Number of New Subscribers
Oh, that they were real….that would be awesome but unfortunately, the uptick in subscribers yesterday does not correspond with an uptick in website visits or social media posts and some of them look suspicious. Is there a way to tell which ones are real? They were also all added over the course of three minutes.
List clean up - how to move users to suppressed
I am trying to do a full list clean, I have 35,000 active profiles, which need cleaned up desperately. I made an unengaged segment of:This only gave me 600 profiles- I don’t know how to move them to the suppressed folder and I also don’t know how to tackle the other thousands of names. Any Advice?
Request: One-click suppress profile please
Hi There, can we please get a huge Suppress button on profiles?Manually suppressing a person is incredibly convoluted in Klaviyo currently.Sometimes we naturally want to accomplish tasks from a profile context as well - right? And because manual unsubs occur rarely, you waste 5mins trying to accomplish it, then 5mins googling it - EVERY TIME!Hope that makes sense. Cheers
Question on Segment numbers not adding up
Hi, My segments numbers are not adding up, please help. I used RFM model, and below are the metrics:( I only use Rencecy and frequency).--R: In the last 14 days, if a user has done either of viewed product/clicked email/active on site at least once then it means 「close}; if outside of 14 days, a user has done either of viewed product/clicked email/active on site at least once it means 「far」F: if a user has done either of viewed product/clicked email/active on site greater than 1 then it means 「high}; if a user has done either of viewed product/clicked email/active on site less than 2 then it means 「Low};--Then we have 5 segments:Potential Sum ( anyone has done either of viewed product/clicked email/active on site at least once over all time and hasn’t purchased)Potential High (R is close, F is high)Potential medium (R is close, F is low):Potential Low (R is far, F is high):Potential Low (R is far, F is low):For some reasons, the potential sum somehow doesn’t equal the rest four combi

Segment definition "is not in segment."
Hi Klaviyo community,I wanted to start a thread about an issue in Klaviyo that there doesn’t seem to be much discussion around (unless I’m missing something).Let’s say you have a Newsletter list, and that you’ve segmented that list into a few engaged segments. For example, Engaged but Never Ordered (ENO), Engaged & Have Ordered 1+ Times (EO1), and Engaged & Have Ordered 3+ Times (EO3).Now let’s say you want to send an email to everyone in your Newsletter list that isn’t in one of those three engaged segments -- in other words, your unengaged profiles from your newsletter list. The simple solution would be to create a segment that says “Is in Newsletter list and is not in segment ENO and is not in segment EO1 and is not in segment EO3.” Now, between your unengaged segment and your three engaged segments, you would have your whole list covered dynamically, with no profiles slipping through the cracks. However, in Klaviyo there's no segment definition that is "is not in segment."Ins
First post :DI have looked around in the help docs but couldn’t find any details on this… Is it possible to add a blacklist of domains we don’t want to accept subscribers from? I think it would be a very cool feature to avoid spam traps, scrappers (like Milled) and others. Thanks in advance!
