1- How do I add subscribers to another list other than the one that initiated the flow? In the orange arrow, I want to copy them to the group, Receiving Welcome Series Emails as well.2- Also, is there a way to add subscribers to a new group/list once they finish an email sequence?
Hi all,I want to do some affiliate marketing with Clickbank (CB) but I noticed that they have a suppression list consisting of 3000+ email domains that CB affiliates are not supposed to email to.I tried to upload this suppression list to Klaviyo as a list but since it is a list consisting of only domains and not email addresses, Klaviyo is unable to import the list.I reached out to their helpdesk but was told there’s only 2 ways:To create a segment and choose ‘Properties about someone’, ‘Email’ ‘doesn’t contain’ ‘@domain-name.com OR To export my email list to CSV, filter out the list of restricted email domains and upload it back to my Klaviyo as a separate list from my main list. The problem with method 1 is that I will have to do it 3000 times because CB has a list of 3000+ domains names on the suppression list. It will take me ages to do this. The problem with method 2 is that my main list is growing every day as I’m running a lead generation campaign. And if I use this
HI everyone, I cant figure out how to manage new emails not ending up where I want them to. Buyers of products ends up in profiles where I can not do anything with them, or can I? Created a list for new emails to drop in and a exit intent popup and noticed that some emails still ends up in profiles rather than the list… how can that be if the setting is made to push them to the list? How to transfer all emails from profiles to a list for further campaigns?Example:as you can see there should be 15 people in the list already but there are only 5 and all of them are buyers, not just those who entered email in popup. Thank You, I would really appreciate your help.
I am looking for a way to connect Klaviyo to Pipedrive through Zapier or another good connector. I would like data to transfer to Pipedrive in order for our sales team to follow up on leads. Examples of the things we would like - When a subscriber clicks in an email (to appear in Pipedrive as a lead but connected to the organisation within Pipedrive) When a subscriber views product (a note to be added on the organisations profile and shows what products they were viewing) We have set-up zaps for these things already but the clicks come through as one click each time so we are getting 100’s of notifications when someone clicks more than once. It also can’t identify the organisation name and is just showing the email address in Pipedrive. I have been looking at this for such a long time so I am hoping someone can help!
Hi there, I’d like to know if Klaviyo has ability to create campaign emails out of google sheets. We’ve automated most of our shopify side of business via google sheets which saves heaps of time. now we are wondering if we can do the same with Klaviyo. I’ve seen that you can pull information to Klaviyo but can’t find any info of what can be sent back to update or to create? Ideally, we would love to be able to create campaign emails straight out of google sheets using existing email templates. Another question i had was can we pull a list like this using API? Column A: Campaing name, Column B: customer ID or emailOnce again, we are in Australia so we can’t get your chat due to time difference. thanksKirill
I have integrated Shopify and Klaviyo but I have two problems: The Newsletter list is not updating from Shopify Launch Page to Klaviyo - I see them as Profiles but they are not in my Segments/Lists. I have already put in the code into my .liquid to enable Newsletter sign ups and automatic syncing. I am unable to set up a Welcome flow > I had set up a Welcome flow to say Hi to new subscribers but it did not sent to the test emails I had put into the specific Subscription list I used.I would really appreciate your help - I tried looking at the Help Centre but I think there is something I’ve missed. Edit: It seems like my Newsletter Subscribers (from my Shopify’s launch page) is being synced with Klaviyo. However, after try to set up my Welcome Series flow..it says my account is suspended for review. Did I do anything wrong that I need to fix?
Hi everyone!I’m currently experimenting for an upcoming Oktoberfest Sale that we’re going to have this weekend. What I wanted to achieve was to be able to pass multiple values to a single Profile property.I have product blocks that showcases our products where subscribers can vote to show their interest.Let’s say my property is Products Interested in for Oktoberfest Sale and it should be able to accept single/multiple values depending on the subscribers response like:Profile 1: Products Interested in for Oktoberfest Sale: CremeProfile 2: Products Interested in for Oktoberfest Sale: Creme, Shampoo, MaskI was able to achieve it by following this guide. However, I wanted to allow the profile property I’m updating to accept multiple values and not just one.I’ve tried it with the current setup and the data is just being overwritten to the most recent selection. Is what I’m trying to do achievable using links to update profile properties? If so, how do I do it? I can’t seem to find any resourc
I have shopify with klaviyo integration. My template has newsletter subscription forms and I also use klaviyo popup. People can subscribe and they are added to a klaviyo list. No problem so far.The issue is, if someone unsubscribe, this creates a bunch of weird issues/conflicts:Inside klaviyo their profile will be marked as suppressed, however they still have the “accept marketing” status set to “true” … Why? … it feels extremely awkward to have a “accept marketing” set to true while also being unsubscribed/suppressed… This means, in shopify, this user still looks like a current subscriber. If a user unsubscribed and wants to subscribe again using a form from the shopify template, then the user will not be subscribed again, and there are no message being displayed telling the user the subscription failed… This is extremely bad. On the other hand, if the user uses the klaviyo popup to subscribe again then the subscription will work the “suppressed” status will be removed, thats good,
I’m having a problem where every email in my system says “Email - Never subscribed”, but they have subscribed and opted in. Does anybody know why it does this? How do I fix this? Also, why is it allowing me to send emails and still have this tag on it? I’m just not understanding what happened. This wasn’t an issue a week ago.
Hi there! Say if I were to create a survey using Google form (its free!), what is the best practice to have the information collected from each form question directly synced/ updated into the Klaviyo’s customer profiles? I know that we can use Typeform/ Survicate to create the survey as these 2 survey platforms have direct integration with Klaviyo. However, I am trying to explore other ways that could possibly save up cost.
To avoid having to create one single welcome flow that contains content in all the languages we offer, we’ve decided to create a single list for each language.Yes, we are going to create e.g. a welcome flow for each language. We have a Custom Property set with the language they get determined by which Country they’ve signed up from.In our Manage Preferences List we’ve added a step where they can change their language from A to B. But this ofc. doesn’t move the subscriber from List A to List B. If we use the Subscribe-form they are only able to subscribe for the list they already belong to - as it’s a sign-up form for that specific list. = we can change the Custom Property, but not add/move the subscriber to the right list→ Do any of you have any suggestions on how we could work around this? We’re trying to avoid using Hosted Pages.
We sell a STEM product and have different kits depending on whether you’re a grandparent buying it as a gift for a grandchild, or a teacher purchasing a kit suited to their kindergarten. We’re wanting 1 master list, and to segment that by different verticals that use our products. Our list size is around 5k contacts. We want segments such as “gift buyers,” “kindergarten teachers,” “primary school teachers,” etc.I’m lost as to where to start, have tried to look into tags, segments, properties...So far I suspect it’s best to create custom properties? But I can’t see how to bulk add properties to existing profiles.Do I need to export our list, add the new column/property, then re-upload? I’m so worried it will override the existing profile of each email address!!! But am OK with manually going thru the exported spreadsheet and updating each contact if that’s the best way to do it and it won’t affect other existing profile data when we re-upload.And do I understand right that once we’ve uploa
We have an integration between our platform (MentionMe) and Klaviyo and we’ve recently been seeing more and more 403 errors when calling the Get Profile endpoint (https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/reference/get-profile). Think we saw this first ones on 15 March, and last night we saw about 150 of these for various Klaviyo clients.I had a look at our logs and the response we’re getting from the API is the one bellow:[image removed]These seems to usually happen during the night. For example, last night we had errors between 06/04/2022 02:14:02 - 06/04/2022 04:08:31I’ve checked the Klaviyo status page but there is no incident reported there. Has anyone else seen something similar?
Is it possible to create a segment of people that are currently within a flow? For example, if I wanted to send a campaign email but exclude anyone who is currently in my welcome flow, is that possible? I know that smart sending is the way to avoid multiple emails within a time period, but ideally I would be able to exclude people based on being in a flow or not.
I am new to Klaviyo and trying to be super careful. I need to import a list of people who have been subscribers for a long time (outside of Klaviyo). When I import them to my newsletter list will it trigger any kind of automated email? (These people have been subscribed for so long that they will be confused if they get a verification email or a welcome email). Thank you for reading this and for forgiving the novice nature of my question ;) :D Maryanne
Hello, I am trying to trigger a flow based on a customer shopify tag. Customers with this specific tag are not in a list or segment. Is there a way I can do this or do I need to add the customers with that tag in a specific list or segment? If so, can someone please explain how I can do this? Thank you
Hi,I have successfully uploaded over 5 years of historical order data, which worked great, but I now realize there are some additional fields I should have included in the CSV files I uploaded. If I just re-upload all the same CSV files with the new columns of values included will this append the extra field values to the existing orders in Klaviyo, as it will have the same Order ID/Event ID in the second upload? Thanks in advance for any help or pointers.Shane
Hello, I am using the Shopify form for newsletters on my Shopify site. The Klaviyo app is also set up successfully. If someone registers using the Shopify form and has successfully double opted in, then I find him under "Customers" in Shopify and I find him under "Profiles" at Klaviyo, but I don't find him in the "Newsletter" list where I do would like to have him. Because of this, the flow cannot get a trigger and start. In my Klaviyo app on Shopify I also stated that the customers who are accepted into Shopify should be added directly to the klaviyo "Newsletter" list. Does somebody has any idea? Double opt-in ist deactivated in Klaviyo cause shopify does this step. Thank you :)
