HiI am sure this is simple but can’t figure out how to do it. I am building a waiting list for a new product and at the end of the launch phase I will send a closing email. In this email I want to have a button offering users to opportunity to sign up to my normal newsletter list, when they click on it they will be automatically moved to this list ready to trigger additional flows How would i do this?ThanksAndy
Hi,I am new to Klaviyo so there maybe an obvious answer to this questions! I have the following scenrio:A page on my eCommerce site that I have a signup form on. I am offering a discount code in exchange for an add to the newsletter list. However I want this contact to be run through a different flow to my standard newsletter adds. I see that I can do this by adding the contact to a different list when the form is submitted, which triggers a different flow.I have two questions about this:I understand its not best practice to have multiple lists. If the solution is to have multiple lists, how can I move this contact from the current list, to my newsletter list once the flow has finished?Maybe my understand is incorrect here, any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks everyone
Hi all! On my webshop it is possible for customers to buy my product as a subscription. I work with Bold Subscription plug in to process these automatic orders. I want to be able to send email explicitly to subscribers or be able to exclude them sometimes from the buyers list, but till today I haven’t found a way how to make a segment/tag on how to separate subscribers from one time purchasers. I have reached out to Bold, Klaviyo and Shopify, but I was always told that this is a topic ‘the other party’ has to help me with… Has anyone experience setting up such a segment?
I currently manage a client account of ~3K subscribers. There are 1K unengaged subscribers the client wanted me to delete, not suppress. I went ahead and first suppressed the contacts, and then deleted them. However when I log back into the account, the number of active profiles is still the same.Am I misunderstanding what exactly the active profiles are?Essentially, the client wants to reduce the active emailable profiles in the billing section since 1/3 of his list is unengaged. However when I log into the billing section, it still shows the same number of billable profiles. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi there,i have worked my way threw the Klaviyo Help Center and definetely learned a lot. What i still can’t find, either in the Help Center nor here in Community forum, is actually on how to view ALL my contacts in the profiles tab.I read that you can only see the recent 50 profiles but i would like to actually scroll threw ALL of my profiles.I use Klaviyo threw the Shopify Integration.Maybe someone can help me out here. Would be appreciated!Best regards,Laurenz
Updating a profile property or create profile property step in a flow when the profile property doesn't exist yet?
I’m creating a flow where I want to update a profile property after a purchase has occurred. However, for most of the profiles, this property doesn’t exist yet. Should I use the ‘update profile property’ action or ‘create new property’ action? If I create a new property each time the flow is triggered, will it create duplicate properties for people who enter the flow multiple times?
I’m using Shopify Dawn theme and inserting a section with email signup, but when I use it the email is only added to Klaviyos contact list, and I can’t get it into the newsletter list.I’ve also tried to create a signup form through Klaviyo and added the embed code to my newsletter page in a custom liquid sectoion, but nothing shows up, it’s just blank.Shopify is in my Klaviyo integrations and vice versa.
Hi thereI have recently opened up a klayvio account to begin setting up my email marketing campaigns however im little bamboozled in the fact that i have around 20 contacts that have subscribed to my newsletter as i have not opened the website yet but the profiles seem to show in klayvio profiles section and not in any of the lists or segments section. This has confused me as i would expect them to migrate automatically ive looked all round the software but i keep coming back to i may have to upload manually but surely that can not be the solution? Help on this would be really appreciated.ThanksLance
I think I found a major bug with the Product Feeds and the Shopify integration. For the life of me, I’ve been trying to figure out why the product feeds were only showing a few products and not displaying the correct best sellers. Well after some testing and experimenting, I think Klaviyo only displays products in the product fee that have a Track Quantity checked (See attached). My store is primarily a virtual good store where I sell digital downloads, so the only product showing are products where I deliver a serial number via a list, which I do track inventory in this case. I’m new to Klaviyo and although I love the new features, as an engineer, I’ve found quite a few major bugs with this software that I wasn’t expecting given the high price I pay per month. Can anyone verify this?
Evident that there is a way to get profiles who are part of the list through REST APIs and in turn, you can get their personal info using profiles ids found in list members.Possibility is there that a profile can exist without being linked to a list. Was curious to check if there is a way to get all profiles or the profiles that are not part of the list through REST APIs?Please let me know if any solution or work around is available for it.
I’ve been working all day to setup my new Klaviyo account. I’ve been working through the Shopify & Klaviyo Onboarding checklist. I’ve completed the steps for Shopify integration (verified the JS scripts for site and product tracking are in place). I’ve browsed my site with a profile and see metrics. I’ve created an embedded subscription form that’s pointed to my Newsletter list. However, when I test email signups, these subscribers are automatically added as consented profiles and I never first receive the email confirmation to opt-in. Further, these profiles are not added to the Newsletter list.I have configured a custom sending domain and validated emails can be sent by sending previews of some of the email templates.I’ve checked my Newsletter list settings and I have double opt-in turned on. Can someone please look at my account and help me resolve this?
Hi there, I manage account for client and they have about 3k profiles in the list, Klaviyo shows 7k+ active profiles under Profiles tab which is more than 2x the number of actual profiles they have I do not want the client to pay fore more than they actually have, so any clarification would help Thanks
Hi everyone, Neewbie question here so apologies in advance if this is a simple answer but I couldn’t find any definitive information! We currently have all customers to our website captured onto a list within Klaviyo which is integrated with Shopify. This has been working well and I have set up a few flows and campaigns with success that I have been pleased with. However, as our website specialises in both retail and wholesale, I would like to have all wholesale enquiries collated into their own list so that I can then create a segment based on their location. I do not need an integrated sign up form from Klaviyo. I just want to use the sign up form we currently have on Shopify and capture that email address into a separate list. Once i have this information, I then want to begin separate marketing campaigns by wholesale customer location from this separate list. What is the best way to achieve this? Thanks in advance!
Hi,I setted a password page and installed the code below in the contact form<input type="hidden" name="contact[tags]" value="newsletter"> Subscribers are correctly added to the subscribers list in Shopify, but not in KlaviyoPlease not that:integration: I selected the optionsDouble Opt-in: I disabled it in Shopify, since your support team adviced to do so, since it would confict with the Klaviyo’s oneWhat else should I do?Thank youLaura
Hello, I am trying to trigger a flow based on a customer shopify tag. Customers with this specific tag are not in a list or segment. Is there a way I can do this or do I need to add the customers with that tag in a specific list or segment? If so, can someone please explain how I can do this? Thank you
Hi,my Shopify integration works correctly - when someone signups through a form, they receive a double-optin email from Klaviyo and after approving, they’re added into a list and Consent in their profile is green checked. However, when someone signups through the Shopify Checkout (they check the box under the email), this happens:Their Klaviyo profile has Accepts Marketing = true, as it should (this is Shopify’s property). They will receive a separate double opt-in email from Klaviyo, because my integration is set to “Collect email subscribers” from Shopify and move them into my list in Klaviyo. That list triggers a separate double opt-in email by Klaviyo, which is intended. However, even after accepting the double opt-in email from Klaviyo, their Consent is still not set. I would expect, since they receive a separate double opt-in email from Klaviyo, that their Consent would be a green checkmark as well.Am I missing something, please? My intention was to create a separate segment of pe
