Hi There!I want to clean my list, but I don’t know which one is the best approach.First, I have created a segment of the people that didn’t open any of my e-mails in the last 6 months, in which I put the tag “limbo”.Then, I created another segment with the same structure, but now within the last 45 days (with the same tag). For this segment, I created a flow to send two emails. If the person doesn’t open, I want to put a “Limbo” tag on her. If she opens any of them, I want her to remain active.I don’t want to “suppress” these profiles, because I want to try some re-engagement in the future. So, what is the best way to segment these “inactive” profiles?Should I just exclude the “people that didn’t open any email in the last 45 days” from my campaigns? If she opens any one of the two emails, Will she be removed from that list?Should I create a flow and if she doesn't open anything, I create a “property” Limbo? This will be a problem if the same person goes in this flow 2 times? (Like, cre
I have mistakingly added a few profiles which shouldnt have been suppressed manually via a CSV, how do i undo this? I have added a new segment to identify these circa 7500 profiles however I am unable to find where I can upload this csv to “re-subscribe” these people.I have emailed supportm and await responseMany thanks
Is there a way to create a segment with emails using wildcards or regex? I would like to filter out emails from our business domain with pluses (+) in them. They are generally used as test accounts so we dont need to send marketing materials to all of these internal accounts.Example: email@example.com I tried creating a definition with ‘*+*@domain.com’ but it doesnt find any accounts. Any input is appreciated.
Has anyone else noticed any of their custom properties missing when trying to use them within segments?I’ve created some custom properties for when subscribers have completed a flow. but when attempting to use that custom property to create a segment, it doesn’t show up in the drop down list of properties to choose from? It’s hit and miss - some show up, some don’t, even though they have been created in exactly the same way.Appreciate if anyone has any advice on a fix? Thanks,Meeta
Hello, so from my understanding, klaviyo uses shopify’s built in email list to manage the people you are going to email. But say I want to run a special promotion with specific people, and if I add them to a list, won’t they just get bundled together with all the other emails ? Is there a way to tell klaviyo to only email specific people that opted in from a specific page only ? and have a flow based on that ?
Hi everyone!I’m currently experimenting for an upcoming Oktoberfest Sale that we’re going to have this weekend. What I wanted to achieve was to be able to pass multiple values to a single Profile property.I have product blocks that showcases our products where subscribers can vote to show their interest.Let’s say my property is Products Interested in for Oktoberfest Sale and it should be able to accept single/multiple values depending on the subscribers response like:Profile 1: Products Interested in for Oktoberfest Sale: CremeProfile 2: Products Interested in for Oktoberfest Sale: Creme, Shampoo, MaskI was able to achieve it by following this guide. However, I wanted to allow the profile property I’m updating to accept multiple values and not just one.I’ve tried it with the current setup and the data is just being overwritten to the most recent selection. Is what I’m trying to do achievable using links to update profile properties? If so, how do I do it? I can’t seem to find any resourc
Hi there,we are new the Klaviyo yeah.just looked through the predefined lists and saw a lot of @marketplace.amazon.com emails which have been imported, but don't have double opt-in. how can I make sure those ppl don't get a email?we are switching from DRIP to Klaviyo and want to start with a fresh install :) Elenio
We have both subscription and non-subscription products, but I want to report how much revenue from first-time purchasers is coming from Klaviyo flows. We’ve integrated both Shopify and Recharge to Klaviyo, but any help articles I’ve read about this are above my head technically speaking, with lots of code so I am not sure if they’re in the right direction or if there’s a simpler solution.Does anyone know how this is possible? Thank you in advance! Courtney
First I'm not native in English :) I'm coming from Active Campaign and find Klaviyo a bit confusing as a beginner here. I'll try to explain what I need and what my challenges are.In AC I had the option to add tags to people either on signup (forms) or manually, based on the tags they went into automation (flows). I'll try to explain my setup in AC and hopefully, someone here gets it and can point me in the right direction. In AC I had a setup for new clients (webdesign business) where I added a new client manually and added tags to them based on the services have with me. The whole idea was to send them into automation where they based on the tags got some info/education about the service they bought. Say I have 6 services, now I add the client to a list (new_clients) and add 3 services to them with tags, then they go into automation where all 6 services have 3-5 emails. Because of the tags, the automation check (split) if they have the tag for service 1, if no, (skip) and go to nex
Hi there, Hope you are well and safe. I have recently synced Shopify with Klaviyo by following the instructions found online. Within the integrations> Shopify section I have clicked the option “Subscribe contacts who opt-in via Shopify, such as during checkout or with a Shopify footer form. Please see below:With this option clicked, I would expect to have any new subscriber who signs-up through the Shopify footer form automatically added on my Newsletter list. However, it does not seem to be the case. I have tested with a testing account and the email address that I use to sign-up on Shopify goes straight on to the Profiles section in Klaviyo but it does not get automatically added on the Newsletter list. I have been reading on these forums and it seems that the most common reason why this happen is having double opt-in enabled. I can confirm this is not my case because I have selected single opt-in for testing purposes.I have also read that for those people who use a 3rd party Shop
I think I found a major bug with the Product Feeds and the Shopify integration. For the life of me, I’ve been trying to figure out why the product feeds were only showing a few products and not displaying the correct best sellers. Well after some testing and experimenting, I think Klaviyo only displays products in the product fee that have a Track Quantity checked (See attached). My store is primarily a virtual good store where I sell digital downloads, so the only product showing are products where I deliver a serial number via a list, which I do track inventory in this case. I’m new to Klaviyo and although I love the new features, as an engineer, I’ve found quite a few major bugs with this software that I wasn’t expecting given the high price I pay per month. Can anyone verify this?
I’m using Shopify Dawn theme and inserting a section with email signup, but when I use it the email is only added to Klaviyos contact list, and I can’t get it into the newsletter list.I’ve also tried to create a signup form through Klaviyo and added the embed code to my newsletter page in a custom liquid sectoion, but nothing shows up, it’s just blank.Shopify is in my Klaviyo integrations and vice versa.
Hello,I had the article about Lists & Segments several times but still don’t understand how segments work. Can someone help me with the following questions? My sign up form has two options: Boys and Girls. Depending on what people select, their profile goes to the corresponding segment (Boys, Girls). Is this correct? There is also a Newsletter list which I never understand where the profiles come from. How do profiles get added to this list? Will there be duplicate profiles? For example, is it possible for someone to be in both a segment and list? I have existing subscriber list from Mailchimp that needs to be added. It looks like I can only add them to the newsletter list not segments. Why?Thanks!
Hello, I am a shopify store owner currently using mailchimp and migrating over to Klavyio. I have a sign up embed and pop up on my website which offers 10% off to new subscribers. I would like people who sign up via these forms to enter my welcome series flow which gives them 10% off and be added to my newsletter list. However, I don’t want people who opt-in to the newsletter at checkout to trigger this welcome flow. Instead I will want them to trigger a post-purchase flow. I do want both sets of people (whether they signed up for 10% or they opted-in at checkout) to be added to my ‘all newsletter’ list. Please can someone help by explaining to me how to do this? Many thanks in advance, Claire
HiI am sure this is simple but can’t figure out how to do it. I am building a waiting list for a new product and at the end of the launch phase I will send a closing email. In this email I want to have a button offering users to opportunity to sign up to my normal newsletter list, when they click on it they will be automatically moved to this list ready to trigger additional flows How would i do this?ThanksAndy
I’m creating 2 different lead magnets. One is a pop up on my site that will offer a dollar amount off and the other will be a landing page (where the link will be posted on social or an ad) with an offer to our free resource library. The first emails for these welcome flows will differ as one will have a coupon code and the other will have a password to the resource library. Do I create 2 lists to trigger these flows or one list that is segmented to trigger each flow? If segmented, what qualifier would denote the trigger? What I don’t want is someone who opted in to the coupon to receive an email saying “here’s your password to our resource library” and vice versa. Could someone suggest the best way to set this up? Thanks.
Hi everyone, Neewbie question here so apologies in advance if this is a simple answer but I couldn’t find any definitive information! We currently have all customers to our website captured onto a list within Klaviyo which is integrated with Shopify. This has been working well and I have set up a few flows and campaigns with success that I have been pleased with. However, as our website specialises in both retail and wholesale, I would like to have all wholesale enquiries collated into their own list so that I can then create a segment based on their location. I do not need an integrated sign up form from Klaviyo. I just want to use the sign up form we currently have on Shopify and capture that email address into a separate list. Once i have this information, I then want to begin separate marketing campaigns by wholesale customer location from this separate list. What is the best way to achieve this? Thanks in advance!
Hello,I've been having a really hard time figuring out why the emails gathered from my footer sign up form do not get into the "Newsletter" list and Welcome Email flow. I've already added this in to the form group and i see that the emails are getting tagged as "Newsletter". <input type="hidden" name="contact[tags]" value="newsletter">I also did the ff:- enabled single opt in- welcome flow email is live Did i miss something?
