Excluding specific emails of a segment

Hello everybody! I have one little question I’m trying to figure it out if I can exclude some specific emails in my segment because even after filtering there are some emails I would like to exclude, can I manually do that?Thanks for the replies

How to delete event history and recipient records when deleting a profile?

I want to delete a profile and wipe all of its data completely, so that the profile can come back as a completely new customer.In the help docs, it says “When deleting, the profile’s event history as well as every recipient record associated with the profile will remain in Klaviyo.” Is there a way to delete all of those associated data?The reason I want to do this is we have customers who leave and then return, repetitively. When they return they need to re-trigger a Flow, and the only way to re-trigger it is by cloning the Flow. If they leave and return 20 times, we will end up with 20 clones of the Flow.

How to link button to your Update Preference page

So far we’ve been sending out one email to all our subscribers. We’d like to better understand our customers, their needs and preference to better serve them emails that are relevant. I’m planning to send them an email to update their email preference. I’ve updated the default preference page with additional questions using the checkboxes option. What I’m struggling with is actually linking it to a button in the email. When I used {% manage_preferences %} in place of the button URL, it displays as:

How Do I Direct Users Who Subscribe in My Klaviyo Embedded Form to a List?

Why Are Email Addresses Not Syncing into Klaviyo via Shopify Password Newsletter Form?

Hi there, the latest email sign ups via Shopify password newsletter page wont sync with my Klaviyo account. 'This has not been an issue before. How do I put existing clients into a new list/segment?

Hello Everyone,I have a question that seems to not be answered yet. lolI make some sales on my Shopify store manually. The clients call me and say what they want. I generate an invoice and send to them to pay. In this process, I’m the one that is putting their information on the system. I add their email and address as they asked. I started to notice that none of these contacts are going to a segment or list. Automatically they do not receive any flows or campaigns. How can I add/move them to an existing list?In a normal contact I see Metrics>List&Segments>Contract>Channels>InformationOn those contacts I see Metrics>Contact>Channels>Information It is missing the list and segments.Another this is, for clients that I want to separate by gender and by sales status, ie. wholesale, making a list would work better right?!  Thank you and have a blessed day,Marcella

Can I bulk update subscribers' properties?

Hi! I’m trying to update a single Custom Property for all my subscribers in a particular list. There are a lot of subscribers so I don’t want to have to do this one-by-one by clicking into each subscriber and updating the Custom Property. Is there a way to upload a CSV file that would override or update the Custom Properties of the subscribers?

Flow triggered by a certain segment

Hi all, I have another question. We would like to create some facebook ads to capture new leads with a text similar to: “get a free pack with a minimum $10 purchase“. So the user sees the ad, clicks the link, is redirected to the website to a hidden sale page, makes the minimum $10 purchase and he or she expects the free pack which will be digital and sent through email.So how do I segment these users in klaviyo if they have not subscribed to our newsletter in order to enter in the flow to receive the free digital pack? Do I have to, maybe, create a new sign-up form just for this particular flow? Is that possible? And if yes, how do I create this form to show up just for these users when they go on the website to make the purchase?Thank you in advance for all the information you may provide me. Cristina.

Workaround instead of making a segment of a segment

I am using a quiz software as a lead magnet to my master list and it has many branches of answers. The software company (shockingly) doesn’t have UTM parameters as an option (UTM Campaign = Gift Ideas, for example), so I made a segment based on all the options they could choose from Q1.Definition is “Quiz Takers = people who answered Q1 as A,B,C,D, etc”They will go through Flow “B”After Q 1 it starts splitting off and wouldn’t capture all quiz takers.Now I also want to filter this segment OUT of Flow “A” so they don’t get a couple duplicate welcome messages.To create a filter I would need to once again say “do not send to anyone who answered Q1 as A,B,C,D, etc.” I am missing something. Essentially I’d like to say “make a segment of people who are in Segment Quiz Takers” but obviously I cannot do that. Interact integrates with Klaviyo but Klaviyo doesn’t support integration the other way for it to provide me with customer actions.Ideas? A work around? Thanks!

FEATURE REQUEST: More OR options or ability to duplicate segment criteria

 Making a segment is incredibly tedious when not using something simple like a single product or category. I frequently need very niche segments (what Klaviyo is supposedly good at, right?) that drill down to very specific products. In this case, I'm making a segment of buyers of 12 different individual products. This should be simpler. SOLUTION: I should be able to add the OR at the NAME LEVEL in my example here not have to start over at the What someone has done level for each product.For each product, I'm having to select 1. what someone has done2. ordered product → 3. set dates4. where name → 5. equals → choose productWhy can't I simply add additional NAMES of products instead of starting over each time? Please adapt the segment creation tool to make it easier for those of us who want to use the complex segmentation of Klaviyo.ANOTHER SOLUTION: Give me a duplicate button so I can at least copy the last parameters and then adjust the one element I need to change.

Using segments to build bigger segments

When creating segments, you can include lists, but you cannot include other segments as segmentation criteria.Why not? Other ESPs and CRM tools do offer this feature, and it is very helpful.Why is it very helpful? I’ll give you an example:Let’s say you want to create a segment that includes:Everybody in a certain list;  Everybody who last logged in to your website less than 90 days ago, AND who is opted in; OR Everybody who last opened an email from you less than 90 days ago.If you have pre-built segments for:“everybody who last logged in to your website less than 90 days ago, AND who is opted in; and“everybody who last opened an email from you less than 90 days ago”, every time you want to use these segments to create other groups, you can just use these pre-made segments as inclusion criteria, rather than having to select and combine a range of properties every single time you want to create a similar, but not identical segment. Shopify Customers not showing up in Klaviyo Profiles / Integration not working

Hey guys, I have an extremely weird issue with the Klaviyo integration on one of my Shopify stores - it simply won’t work.  I have done this the exact same way for other stores before and also double and triple checked the following / tried these things: double opt-in is disabled on the Shopify level double opt-in is disabled on the Klaviyo list level collect subscribers (“Subscribe contacts who opt-in via Shopify, such as during checkout or with a Shopify footer form”) setting is enabled and configured correctly, tried pointing them to 2 different lists as well to make sure there’s nothing wrong with one of those either deleting the klaviyo app from shopify and setting up the integration again from scratch Is there something I am forgetting? The issue isn't even that the customers simply aren’t being added to the desired list, they are not even showing up under the “profiles” section in the Klaviyo.  And help is greatly appreciated! Suppressed Profile - HELP having massive issues and not sure how to fix

I have suppressed a customers email in Klaviyo, because they complained about getting so many emails from the flows (they are a subscription customer). Now that I have suppressed their email, will that stop them receiving all emails in the future from any flows that they may get added into automatically by the system? If not, how can I go about this? If I delete their profile, when their next subscription order comes through it’ll readd them back in and they will go back into the flow sequence. Thanks so much in advance. Cheers.

Import succeeded but users not entering flow

I created and uploaded archive data as instructed in the help section.  The import appeared to complete with error.  And then nothing. No added customers, no statistics change in flows, no confirmation and/or failure email.  Just silence.It seems that importing ~300 record should be relatively quick, and provide some indication of success. What have I done wrong?Also, if anyone is interested I created an export template for Shipworks.

Adding filter for specific flow to segment, but not all flows available?

Hi folks, I’m trying to build a segment that catches profiles who have not opened and have not clicked on any email from a particular flow, however the flow is not available in the filter dropdown:I thought it may be because the flow is in manual mode, but there are several others not available that are live. Could someone please clarify why this might be the case? Thanks!

Segment Pulling Incorrect Profiles

I have a segment set up for my Sunset Subscriber Flow and it’s pulling incorrect profiles.The segment has a condition of “opened email zero times in the last 90 days” and upon looking through the very first profile in the segment, I can see this customer has opened an email in both December and November. It’s January 5th, so both of these dates fall within the 90 days. I don’t want to be sending list cleaning emails to individuals who are engaging with our brand. How can I fix this?

Segmenting Wholesale Customers (Shopify)

Hello.We already use Klaviyo to segment retail customers. Is there a way to segment the Stores we sell to? Currently if they purchase through Shopify they are lumped into existing lists. Is there possibly a way to have tagged as wholesale customers flow into a Wholesale segment or list? We’d also love to use Klaviyo as a form of CRM where we are tracking last order dates from Stores. Is this possible? Thanks!

Shopify integration - can't search lists and not all lists showing

I’ve created a new list for new SMS subscribers to be added to. When trying to change the list which SMS subscribers are added to, I cannot find the new list in the drop down: When trying to use search, the correct list flashes up, but the search input field removes the search term and resets before being able to select. This option is unable to be selected, it is not available as an option - checked in devtools.There seems to be a limit of 150(?) options here, so lists which are not in that dropdown cannot be selected. Is this a bug?
