Same Unsubscribe/Manage Preferences Page for ALL Lists & Segments

I am having trouble setting my customised unsubscribe and manage preferences pages to every single email i send out which, in most cases, is to many different lists and segments. I have created the custom pages under ‘Hosted Pages” using HTML and have updated this under the “Preference Page” for Unsubscribe & Manage Preferences. When i send out a test email, it still goes to the default “Unsubscribe & Manage Preferences” page that Klaviyo uses. I updated ONE list from the generic unsubscribe link to my custom link/page. That worked however i can’t do it for segments.All i wish to do is have my custom Unsubscribe & Manage Preferences page for every email sent to every list/segment. How can this be achieved?

Difference between snapshot segment and convert to list?

Basically, the current client of mine doesn’t have any list. Since we can’t do a welcome flow without any list, I tried to create a segment first. So I created a segment named “Master list” with a condition of “person is not suppressed”. Now I want to convert this into a list and then connect that list to the sign up form and welcome flow so that I can activate the welcome flow. Is what I’m trying to achieve possible? If possible should I “snapshot the segment” or “convert to list” in the settings? Please let me know

403 errors on Get Profile endpoint

We have an integration between our platform (MentionMe) and Klaviyo and we’ve recently been seeing more and more 403 errors when calling the Get Profile endpoint (https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/reference/get-profile). Think we saw this first ones on 15 March, and last night we saw about 150 of these for various Klaviyo clients.I had a look at our logs and the response we’re getting from the API is the one bellow:[image removed]These seems to usually happen during the night. For example, last night we had errors between 06/04/2022 02:14:02 - 06/04/2022 04:08:31I’ve checked the Klaviyo status page but there is no incident reported there. Has anyone else seen something similar?

Best CRM when working with Klaviyo?

Hi, we have a direct to consumer business which is great as the customer data flows in from woocommerce to klaviyo. However we also use klaviyo for our B2C email broadcasts.We receive our wholesale orders via three methods:Some of our wholesale customers order via our webiste (woocommerce) so their data flows into Klaviyo this way - these are easy. Some wholesale customers place orders direclty with us via email so their order data does not flow into klaviyo. Some wholesale customers place orders through distributors - we have some but not all of their email addresses. Some of these larger customers (with 20 or 30 stores) seem to have a block on klayiyo emails arriving in their inboxes as I have tested subsets and had no deliveries so I revert to contacting them directly via email anyway!Would love to hear suggestions on best practice around keeping our B2C database updated. (2) and (3) require manual updating which gets confusing.Are you using Klaviyo as a crm for your key customer da

Adding a new member to a list via API with first name doesn't work

Hello,I set up a form to subscribe users to a list. I use the API for that. It works when i only add the email to the payload, using the https://a.klaviyo.com/api/v2/list/LIST_ID/subscribe?api_key=API_KEY endpoint.I closely follow the docs, using Guzzle (PHP)But when i try to add a first name to the profile, it doesn”t seem to work.Using the list → subscribe endpoint, i don’t know if it’s possible, and if it is, the expected body request (the one working with the email looks like this : 'body' => '{"profiles":[{"email":"' . $email . '"}]}' Using the identify endpoint (POST), the request returns 1, but no firstname is added to the profile 'data' => '{"token":"MYPUBLICKEY","properties": {"$email": "THEEMAIL", "$first_name":"THEFIRSTNAME"}}' Using the list → members endpoint, i get a 400 Bad Request as soon as i deviate from the base body request with email AND phone number 'body' => '{"profiles":[{"email":"THEEMAIL"},{"first_name":"THEFIRSTNAME"}]}' Can you please help me with

New collections not showing up in segment

Hey!We have a 2022 collection launch today and I am wanting to create both a new segment for those who order our 2022 products, AND have a specified abandoned cart/ post purchase flow for those ordering these products. SO my thoughts were to create a new collection and add the relevant products, both in Klaviyo and Shopify. And the collection shows under catalogs in Klaviyo and products in Shopify. So my collection is ready and okay.However, when trying to segment based on ordering products where collections equals …. my newly created collection doesn't show up? So I can't segment..  Is there something I need to do? I created the collection early this morning so it has been many hours since it was created if that matters..

Can't Update a Profile

A relatively easy task of switching out an email address that is bouncing. Go to the profile, click on edit for the contact info, put in the new email address, update, nope, wont change the email address. its not updated. how do i do it?

Updating a profile property or create profile property step in a flow when the profile property doesn't exist yet?

I’m creating a flow where I want to update a profile property after a purchase has occurred. However, for most of the profiles, this property doesn’t exist yet. Should I use the ‘update profile property’ action or ‘create new property’ action? If I create a new property each time the flow is triggered, will it create duplicate properties for people who enter the flow multiple times?

Segment using start of product name or SKU

Using segmenting, is it possible to build a segment that works off filtering part of the product name  or SKU? (where product name CONTAINS  “foo”) or (product name STARTS WITH “foo”). I can only see a filter for EQUALS in the segment filtering? Alternatively wildcards would work -are they available?

exclude domain from getting emails

Hi there,we are new the Klaviyo yeah.just looked through the predefined lists and saw a lot of @marketplace.amazon.com emails which have been imported, but don't have double opt-in. how can I make sure those ppl don't get a email?we are switching from DRIP to Klaviyo and want to start with a fresh install :) Elenio

Merging two Klaviyo lists in one Klaviyo account

Looking for guidance please!  We have two lists within one Klaviyo account, each list being linked to a separate Shopify store. We have merged our two Shopify stores into one and we want to migrate profiles and as much of the transactional (including newsletter opens etc) data as possible from the redundant Klaviyo list into the ongoing one.  Please could anyone give us guidance as to how we can best achieve this at the same time losing the minimum amount of data possible?  Thank you.

How can I create a segment based on a TAG in the ORDER of Shopify?

We have a free trial kit that goes out to a customer, and when we receive it back we mark the ORDER with the tag “KR” and then we know the kit was returned. And a tag “KNR” if the kit was never returned. KR - I want to email them after it’s returned and let them know what the next steps are and give them an offer.KNR - I want to remind them to return the kit. We can’t change the Order Status, because often they are buying multiple products. So I need it to be based on a TAG. Or a custom data field (can we do that in Shopify)? We can’t add the tag to the Customer level because they could order our kits multiple times over their lifetime. Thoughts??

New to Klaviyo! Why are sign ups not showing in shopify

Hope someone can help :) I set up my email capture form via Klaviyo and have noticed that new email sign ups are not automatically added to my shopify customers list. For Omniture, anybody who submitted their email via an Omniture form would also be automatically added to my shopify customers list. Can anybody let me know how I can have both systems sync up now I’m using Klaviyo?

We are looking to set up an integration from Klaviyo to D365 CRM can anyone provide us brief information regarding WebHook support inside Klaviyo ?

If Klaviyo supports Webhook, please provide information about events to which we can subscribe for e,g. upload of a List/  Contact record.Below are our requirements for integration between Dynamics 365 and KlayvioWhen contact is created/updated/deleted inside Dynamics 365 then the list should be updated with these contacts. When a list/Contact profile is created/updated/ deleted inside Klaviyo then it should trigger the request to posted data in Dynamics 365 CRM. We have a Custom Opt-In Field in our Contacts in Dynamics 365 which resembles the Opt-Ins in Klaviyo, how to create a mapping between Klaviyo and CRM for Such Fields. If Klaviyo supports Webhook, please provide information about events to which we can subscribe for e,g. upload of a List/  Contact record.

Segments based off multi-checkbox answers

Hi folks, Just trying to clarify something…If I have a form with a multi-checkbox block, say 4 difference options each with their own property/value… For example, lets use colours, so white, black, green, yellow.So, someone could submit a form where they have selected black and green.If I want to get a tally on how many of these properties have been “chosen” regardless of how many profiles may have made multiple selections, is building a segment using “property” “contains” then white/black/green/yellow per segment correct? In this instance I don’t care about other permutations of multiples… I just want to be able to say “50 people total selected green”, “10 people selected yellow” etc based off the number of profiles that populate in each segment.Thanks!

Customers location messed up?

We suddenly see Klaviyo totally messing up our customers profiles locations. Even if they where located in a certain country (based on their first order from us) Klaviyo changed the country in their profile based on their zip code. The zip code is also present in other countries so it seems like Klaviyo just by random changed the country for A LOT of our customers profiles. This means we cant segment on country any more since the data is not accurate.We are awaiting response from support but need this solved ASAP: Anyone had similar issues in the past and know how to solve it?

Change in subscriber email

The emails of a few of my key customers (subscribers) was recently changed as their companies were taken over by other companies. What would be the best way to manage this change in email ? Create a new user (or) just replace existing email with new email ?Any precautions to be taken while doing these changes ? (like taking a backup of previous campaign results etc.)

Confusion about active profiles

I currently manage a client account of ~3K subscribers. There are 1K unengaged subscribers the client wanted me to delete, not suppress. I went ahead and first suppressed the contacts, and then deleted them.However when I log back into the account, the number of active profiles is still the same.Am I misunderstanding what exactly the active profiles are?Essentially, the client wants to reduce the active emailable profiles in the billing section since 1/3 of his list is unengaged.However when I log into the billing section, it still shows the same number of billable profiles. Am I doing something wrong?

Mass Unsuppression

I mistakenly uploaded the wrong Soft Bounce segment to the Suppression List to the tune of about 8k customer records.  Is there a way to mass unsurpress without going record by record and manually unsurpressing?

Recover deleted list

Hi, I have accidentally deleted my main list and I am freaking out.  Is there anyway to recover this list please? EDIT: I managed to re-create it using profile properties so I’m calmer now.  I still have the question on how to recover deleted lists if this happens in future?

Previously I would've done that by creating a segment as follows:Placed order > where ProductID > equals 12345678It seems the option for ProductID has been removed?
