I want to delete a profile and wipe all of its data completely, so that the profile can come back as a completely new customer.In the help docs, it says “When deleting, the profile’s event history as well as every recipient record associated with the profile will remain in Klaviyo.” Is there a way to delete all of those associated data?The reason I want to do this is we have customers who leave and then return, repetitively. When they return they need to re-trigger a Flow, and the only way to re-trigger it is by cloning the Flow. If they leave and return 20 times, we will end up with 20 clones of the Flow.
Automated Coupons for Shopify Orders. Case: Customer Orders 2 times the same products has to get 2 different codes. Always receives the same.
Hey at all, we want to sell a gift card and created two coupon lists. if customer orders 1 product he gets coupons from list 1 if customer orders 2 products he gets coupons from list 2We built up the flow:Trigger: Order, SKU equals XXX. And Quantity equals 1 And we also build another flow for the case a customer orders 2 products:Trigger: Order, SKU equals XXX. And Quantity equals 2 Now it happens that customers who order 2 times the product receive the first mail 2 times with the same code but from coupon list 1. How can me make sure that if a customer orders that special sku 2 times in one order, that he receives a coupon code from the list 2 and not 2 times list 1? Thank you so much. BR Lukas
My store caters to small breed dog owners. I’d like to collect the name, birthday and breed of a customer’s dog. Many of my customers have more than one dog, so I’d like to be able to capture that information for up to three dogs. I’ve read the Klaviyo support page about custom profile properties, but it makes no sense to me. All I want to do is create unique profile properties for each of the following fields:Dog #1 Name, Dog #1 Birthday, Dog #1 BreedDog #2 Name, Dog #2 Birthday, Dog #2 BreedDog #3 Name, Dog #3 Birthday, Dog #3 BreedAppreciate any tips.

Hi there, the latest email sign ups via Shopify password newsletter page wont sync with my Klaviyo account. 'This has not been an issue before. I've already checked the integrations settings in shopify and everything looks fine and integrated with Klaviyo. Please advise what else I can do to fix it. Thanks

I generate an invoice and send to them to pay. In this process, I’m the one that is putting their information on the system. I add their email and address as they asked. I started to notice that none of these contacts are going to a segment or list. Automatically they do not receive any flows or campaigns. How can I add/move them to an existing list?In a normal contact I see Metrics>List&Segments>Contract>Channels>InformationOn those contacts I see Metrics>Contact>Channels>Information It is missing the list and segments.Another this is, for clients that I want to separate by gender and by sales status, ie. wholesale, making a list would work better right?! Hi! I’m trying to update a single Custom Property for all my subscribers in a particular list. There are a lot of subscribers so I don’t want to have to do this one-by-one by clicking into each subscriber and updating the Custom Property. Is there a way to upload a CSV file that would override or update the Custom Properties of the subscribers?
Hi all, I have another question. We would like to create some facebook ads to capture new leads with a text similar to: “get a free pack with a minimum $10 purchase“. So the user sees the ad, clicks the link, is redirected to the website to a hidden sale page, makes the minimum $10 purchase and he or she expects the free pack which will be digital and sent through email.So how do I segment these users in klaviyo if they have not subscribed to our newsletter in order to enter in the flow to receive the free digital pack? Do I have to, maybe, create a new sign-up form just for this particular flow? Is that possible? And if yes, how do I create this form to show up just for these users when they go on the website to make the purchase?Thank you in advance for all the information you may provide me. Cristina.
I am using a quiz software as a lead magnet to my master list and it has many branches of answers. The software company (shockingly) doesn’t have UTM parameters as an option (UTM Campaign = Gift Ideas, for example), so I made a segment based on all the options they could choose from Q1.Definition is “Quiz Takers = people who answered Q1 as A,B,C,D, etc”They will go through Flow “B”After Q 1 it starts splitting off and wouldn’t capture all quiz takers.Now I also want to filter this segment OUT of Flow “A” so they don’t get a couple duplicate welcome messages.To create a filter I would need to once again say “do not send to anyone who answered Q1 as A,B,C,D, etc.” I am missing something. Essentially I’d like to say “make a segment of people who are in Segment Quiz Takers” but obviously I cannot do that. Interact integrates with Klaviyo but Klaviyo doesn’t support integration the other way for it to provide me with customer actions.Ideas? A work around? Thanks!
I have suppressed a customers email in Klaviyo, because they complained about getting so many emails from the flows (they are a subscription customer). Now that I have suppressed their email, will that stop them receiving all emails in the future from any flows that they may get added into automatically by the system? If not, how can I go about this? If I delete their profile, when their next subscription order comes through it’ll readd them back in and they will go back into the flow sequence. Hello, my newsletter popup form is not triggering the linked Welcome series automation. I checked and double-opt in is turned off and the automation is connected to the newsletter list. Trying to solve this issue asap as it is live and we offer a discount for subscribing. Any ideas? Thanks
So I’m about to merge a bunch of lists… I have a segment that is pulling in all the profiles, which i’ll export, then add a specific custom property to each profile which will correspond to a flow filter for flows that are triggered by list membership ( as outlined in this klaviyo doc)I think I’m pretty much ready to pull the trigger (pun intended) but what I want to clarify is…If all my current profiles get this new property (I’m calling it “Origin_Merged_Exclude_Trigger” with a value of “Yes”), what does the flow filter do to new profiles that have NO value for this property? Will they still enter the flow as intended? I’m just a bit concerned about the “doesn’t equal”...Hope this makes sense! Thanks!
I created and uploaded archive data as instructed in the help section. The import appeared to complete with error. And then nothing. No added customers, no statistics change in flows, no confirmation and/or failure email. Just silence.It seems that importing ~300 record should be relatively quick, and provide some indication of success. What have I done wrong?Also, if anyone is interested I created an export template for Shipworks.
One of the properties Klaviyo stores for a user profile is the first URL the user visited as “First Page.” What’s strange, however, is we cannot filter by this property or create segments that lookup this property. Anyone know why? Seems like a missing feature.
Hi folks, I’m trying to build a segment that catches profiles who have not opened and have not clicked on any email from a particular flow, however the flow is not available in the filter dropdown:I thought it may be because the flow is in manual mode, but there are several others not available that are live. Could someone please clarify why this might be the case? Thanks!
I have a segment set up for my Sunset Subscriber Flow and it’s pulling incorrect profiles.The segment has a condition of “opened email zero times in the last 90 days” and upon looking through the very first profile in the segment, I can see this customer has opened an email in both December and November. It’s January 5th, so both of these dates fall within the 90 days. I don’t want to be sending list cleaning emails to individuals who are engaging with our brand. How can I fix this?
I’m uploading new customers daily from a website that isn’t integrated with Klaviyo. I can do this fine however I’m confused about the consent status.If the customer opts-in to marketing when they purchase I update the consent column to “email” What do I update the consent field to if they opt-out of marketing?I tried an empty field but this doesn’t put them on the suppressed list which I assume it should?
