Hello, I have used Klaviyo email for 3 days. I looked up the sending IPs and found the score of those IPs are not that good. A Sudden Decrease in Open Rates

Hi! Our team is investigating a recent trend in our email marketing. We’ve observed a decrease in our open rates over the past few months. Previously, our open rates consistently ranged between 45% to 50+%. Currently, they sit around 30% to 35% (a decrease of about 13%).Note that:We haven’t made any major changes to our email design or layout. Our subject lines are similar to what’s always worked for us. Click-through rates remain comparable to previous campaigns.We’ve also observed a shift in engagement because clicks on our social media buttons within the emails have increased. Clicks on these buttons were usually minimal to none, but now we’re seeing an average increase of 10-15 clicks per social media platform.We’re wondering if this decline could be related to the recent changes we made to comply with Google and Yahoo’s requirements. What is the &_kx= string at the end of my URLs and can it be switched off?

Fluctuating DMARC Success Rates Due to Non-Brand Domain Emails Sent via Klaviyo

I have been monitoring our DMARC success rates via Google Postmaster and noticed significant fluctuations recently. Upon reviewing the DMARC reports, I found that a number of emails sent through Klaviyo were not originating from our branded domain but rather from domains like ksd3.klaviyomail.com. This issue seems to be impacting our overall email deliverability and DMARC success rates.Has anyone else experienced similar issues with emails being sent from non-brand domains through Klaviyo?   What steps can be taken to ensure that all emails sent through Klaviyo use our branded domain to maintain consistent DMARC compliance? Why total revenue Shopify is strangely lower than attributed revenue of Klaviyo?

Hi guys,Hope you all are doing great! I was enjoying the “weekend is coming vibe”. Suddenly, my boss brought this to my attention: Danny, why in May the first and the second, the total revenue from Shopify was lower than the attributed revenue of Klaviyo 😱? Honestly, I have no idea why was that. But I made a promise to answer his question by next week. While finding the response for him (which is outrageous), I would love to hear from you guys about this matter. Can Suppressed Profiles Re-subscribe?

To help improve deliverability, I am adding contacts which have gone through the WinBack flow and still not engaged to suppressed profiles. Before suppressing them, I am sending them a goodbye email with a link to re-subscribe.If an unengaged subscriber is added to the suppressed profiles list, can they re-subscribe if they have decided they want to receive emails again?

Removing spam profiles that are hurting sender reputation

Hi all, I am managing a client account that has recently had over 700 customer profiles added by a spam bot. Some of these seem to be ‘real’ addresses that are now receiving the welcome flow and either unsubscribing or submitting spam complaints.  We fixed the issue so there aren’t more fake profiles being added through Shopify, but what can we do to either mass delete or prevent the flow from running - but still have it run for genuine sign-ups? I’m worried that the negative responses from these profiles will harm my clients sender reputation and analytics.  Also, if anyone has suggestions on how to create a segment with these profiles (or to exclude them) I would love to hear it. I had originally created one with the definitions of: date range from when the spam started, and ‘hasn’t opened OR clicked email’ but now we’ve realised they are people and have been opening - which doesn’t help the segment and is now placing them in our engaged segment instead! It’s been a bit of a nightmar

CTR Reporting

Hi, I’m having an issue finding CTR reporting (not click rate) reporting within Klavyio, it seems to have disappeared. I see it on the Dashboard as an overall metric, but I do not see it as an option when building out custom reports; is there a reason why this was removed?

Massive Bounces from Yahoo

Hi, We’ve just had a huge bounce rate from Yahoo for one of our clients standard campaigns to an engaged group. Klaviyo is saying its a reputation bounce but the message from yahoo is ‘554 Message not allowed - [PH01] Email not accepted for policy reasons.’  No idea what the policy reasons are and checked spamhaus we are good - any thoughts on what it could be?  Thanks

Get analytics reports sent directly to my email inbox

I am trying to have an analytics report sent to my email inbox so that I can see performance at a glance, using this kind of thing: https://www.klaviyo.com/analytics/report/It seems to be that if I schedule a report, it sends me a reminder and I have to visit Klaviyo to see the actual report, which is not what I'm looking for. Is there a way to have the report sent straight to my inbox?

Emails going to spam in Hotmail

I noticed a lot of posts about this, but none were actually resolved. For the last 2 or so months all of our campaigns are going straight into spam for all hotmail users (including myself). We haven’t changed anything to do with our campaigns or our delivery strategy. We only usually send to users who have engaged in the last 30 days.  I also did a test campaign yesterday to all of our hotmail subscribers, which resulted in an open rate of 1%, which is obviously well below our usual open rate, even for non-engaged customers.  Has anyone had any luck with resolving this, if they were struggling with this too?

Klaviyo DNS changed are adding 9 SPF Lookups

Our IT department and hosting provider told us that Klaviyo is adding 9 SPF lookups on our domain and the limit of SPF lookups allowed is 10 before your sending deliverability goes down. We have chatted with support a few times but no resolution and we don’t know what's going on. Does anyone know how to stop Klaviyo from adding 9 SPF lookups. Seems odd that it will add 9 when the max limit is 10.

Deliverability Issues

Has anyone noticed deliverability going down? It almost appears as thought the auto settings from klaviyo aren’t correct (dkim, etc). I have now moved two different people from other platforms (mailchimp and shopify) where both times their open rates were MUCH higher on those platforms. I have a good deliverability score, keep my lists clean, but cannot match what I was seeing on their old accounts. Anyone have a similar issue?

Significant drop in Open Rates

Hi,For some time now, we’ve had strong Open Rates for our broadcasts - in the early 70’s on average.  However since Feb/March, they have dropped significantly down to the late 50’s.   Digging a little deeper, I can see that Gmail seems to be the culprit as the Open Rate for these subscribers was around 70% in January but is now just 45% :(  I’m quite concerned by this as Gmail subscribers make up around 60% of our base. Does anyone know what could have caused this and how can I fix?

How to see click through rates on clipped message

Hi everyone. We’ve had a few messages that have been clipped and when I previously used campaign monitor you could see click rates for the “see full message” link. I can’t seem to find this in Klaviyo? It’s not in the campaign link performance stats. Is this not enabled or am I missing where to find it?Thanks in advance

How to add a NS recordy type in Shopify to set up a branded domain

Hi, I am not sure if I am missing something here but I am trying to set up my branded sending domain. My website is built in Shopify, Klaviyo recommends the dynamic routing option which then asks me to enter a TXT record (no problem) and 4 NS records. What is an NS record? There is no option to add this in Shopify. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Community!I’m getting in to email marketing to grow my start-up and have a bunch of things I’m trying to figure out so I can be more effective How many emails can I send at once? or in a single day? - Someone told me 50 per hourWho sets those limits? What happens if you exceed that number?I am using my own domain to send emails which I purchased over a month ago.Is Klaviyo sending the emails or is the company I host my email with sending them?  Thanks all for your help!

Shared Sending IP doubled sending volume, decreasing reputation score

I’ve been noticing that we’ve had an increase in bounces on comcast and yahoo emails over the past 2 months. A recent campaign bounced back over 300 comcast emails so I dug deeper. The sending IP can be tied back to other issues I’ve seen: 168.245.121.105 I used Comcast postmaster tools which drove me to Sender Score. Compared to the other IPs our domain sending has been attributed to, this one had a score of 6 and appears that something happened in April:Send volume more than doubled for this IP. Is there a spam attack? Could Klaviyo have moved a large amount of brands to this one IP on accident or something? Anyone else having issues as well?
