Flows that trigger off "One to many" Events

Hi all,This is a use-case that I’m finding a little difficult to articulate, so please bear with me!We have an event called “Course Started” that is triggered by profiles who have previously purchased from us. An item of metadata belonging to that event is “CourseName”.We have hundreds of Courses, and a profile can trigger multiple Course Started events before they may track a Course Completed event. Of course, someone might start CourseName “A” and then CourseName “B” and track a Course Completed event for CourseName “B” before “A”. Still with me?!The requirement I have been asked to meet is to have a profile enter a flow for a “Course Started” event and then wait for 30 days. If after 30 days there is no corresponding Course Completed date for the CourseName value that entered them into the Flow in the first place - not a Course Completed event for any other Course.Is this possible within an Event triggered Flow without building hundreds of Flows, one for each Course?I’m fairly profi

Hello,I want to exclude certain products from the product feed. For example, Jewish brochures, I want to exclude 1-2 more products in addition to this, such as not showing these products in the user’s email.My clients use Shopify btw. How can I do this?

Does person.ViewedItems not work any longer?

I’m trying to use the profile {{ person.ViewedItems }} and have tested with a profile that I know has viewed product events within the last hour (see my screenshot). When I send a test email however, there is nothing retrieved. Does this profile variable no longer work? I tried similarly with the RecentlyViewed product feed and it seems to present me with products as I would expect. Is there something that I would be missing here? I also tried for testing purposes to just pull out a simple field from the data as follows {{ person.ViewedItems.0.Title }} which also did not work.For my use cases it is necessary that I can manipulate the recently viewed items in a programmatic way with template tags so the product feed doesn’t work for me.

Campaign layout badly broken when viewed in Outlook

Hi,We are having a problem with a section of an email campaign that uses two splits of 2 images, with a single image in between.On most email clients it is fine, however on Outlook it is badly broken. The images seem to be escaping their boundaries (I assume this is a flex layout rather than an old-style table) and force the rest of the content out to be too wide. I have attached two images to illustrate this.How do we craft campaigns so that we can achieve the target layout on Outlook? Automated Pre-Course Email Flow

Is there a way to build Flows within Klayvio to be sent prior to a course starting? A business who uses Shopify offers in person courses, they’d like to be able to have an automated email sent to the participants 24 hours prior to the start of a course with the course reminder and include necessary info for the course such as where it is, times, what they should bring with them, etc. They offer multiple courses, so having something that auto-populates with the relevant information would be key. Is this a capability within Klayvio? Or would we need to hire an external dev team to do things?

How to view copies of actual emails sent in a flow?

I just discovered the product feed in one of our flows “broke” some time ago. I want to know when this happened, and to do that I need to view copies of the actual emails that were sent. (Yes I know I could ballpark it based on metrics, but I’d prefer to verify the actual real date)I just learned that if I go to the flow, and the ‘recipient activity’ and preview the sent email, I will see what the template looks like as of current 😒 I added an image to the template yesterday, but it shows in the recipient activity as if it was sent in emails from 2021, ugh.Is there a way to view copies of the actual emails sent? And not just the generated previews of what the template looks like currently.And unfortunately my own Gmail copies from when I triggered the flow don’t help either, because once the product feed is broken then ALL historical email copies appear as broken, even those that were not broken at the time it was sent.

Subject Line Personalisation - not using default

When adding first name personlisation to the subject line, I don’t want to use the default “friend” as this doesn’t make sense in context.   Is there a way to include first name for customers for whom we have this data and nothing for customers who have this field empty? e.g.“First Name, we asked our customers...” vs. simply “We asked our customers...” rather than “Friend, we asked our customers...” Thanks

Winback and Sunset Flow timing

Hi everyone, I really need an advice.I want to set up my Winback Flow and Sunset Flow and cant decide on timing.Flows to purchasersWhen should The client enter the Winback and Sunset flow?I am B2B and what bothers me is rather long time between orders which is 341 days.In my understanding first I should be sending a Winback Flow and then in case of a total inactivity the person should enter Sunset flow and later on be suppressed. (please correct me if I am wrong)My question is when should the client enter those flows.It looks logical to wait 350 days or so, but it’s a year and I read recommendations to start Sunset flow after 180 days of inactivity. So if the client is inactive and enters Sunset flow after 180 days and then I suppress it I am loosing a sale but if I wait till 350 days then I have a lot of unengaged subscribers.Who should enter Winback Flow?The segments I am debating:Subscribers who are active: opens or clicks emails or views products or active on site for the last x(?)

Email display in Gmail desktop not consistent with Klaviyo

I’ve been building a new template for a client.I was experimenting with different line spacing for body copy vs headings in the template Styles section.However when sending previews / test emails, I was seeing that the line spacing was appearing far too large in the headings. There’s a big padding section below the headings which I just can’t seem to remove.I attempted to revert to body copy / ‘normal’ text throughout the template and remove all Heading formatting - but the Heading formatting seems to be stuck and now I can’t remove this additional padding.I am seeing the display issues particularly in Gmail (Chrome browser), yet the email is rendering OK on mobile.At this point I would like to revert to an earlier version of the template when the padding in test emails resembled the email editor more closely.But I can’t seem to remove the formatting. Hoping someone can help! Many thanks in advance.

Which Filters are best (future proof) for Welcome Email Series?

I have the following filter. Do you think I need just the one or both?Basically, I don't want anyone to receive an email after they've made a purchase, and I also want to prevent them from receiving the same email chain if they've bought from us within the last 30 days.What filter do you guys suggest is best for the welcome series? I'm looking for a filter that will future-proof our setup. In the future, I plan to have different types of welcome emails for those who have abandoned checkout, abandoned cart, abandoned browsing, abandoned the site, etc.

Customer signs up for email but profile says "never subscribed" and Flow emails won't send

I’m at my wits end! I hope someone can help me.I am using Klaviyo for my new Shopify store. My Shopfiy page has a standard email signup form at the bottom. When someone enters their email address and replies to the opt-in email, their profile shows up in Klaviyo. But their Klaviyo profile says “Never subscribed” and my welcome Flow emails won’t send.I also have an abandoned cart Flow and that one works fine.Thank you in advance for your help!

Setting Up Dynamic Delivery Flows for Fresh Products Based on Region and Order Date

Hi Klaviyo support,I’m working on setting up a delivery update flow for an ecommerce store, which delivers fresh dog food across different regions in Australia. We’ve already distinguished between frozen and fresh products in separate flows, as these product categories use different courier lines and have different delivery requirements.For this specific flow, I’m focusing on fresh products, which need to be delivered within specific timeslots depending on the customer’s location. The general rule we follow is that if customers order before Sunday midnight, they receive their product in one of the designated timeslots that same week. How to move and tag from one flow to another???

I’m having an issue with this platform. You would think it would be straight forward and simple but it’s been very frustrating. Here’s what I’m trying to do:Once someone fills out the pop up form on the site, they get tagged as a ‘New Subscriber’ and enter the Welcome Series flow. If they make a purchase, they will enter into the Post-Purchase Series flow.  This is where I’m having the problems:After a purchase, how do I set it to automatically remove the tag ‘New Subscriber’ and tag them as ‘Subscriber’? Because at this point they are already removed from the Welcome Series but in order to trigger the General Newsletter flow, they need the tag ‘Subscriber’ to do so.  Also, once a ‘New Subscriber’ completes the Welcome Series but didn’t purchase, how do I remove the ‘New Subscriber’ tag and add the tag ‘Subscriber’ that moves them into the General Newsletter flow?I feel like this should be much simpler, I’ve tried to use the Profile Property Update action, but it doesn’t give me an opt

Hello!I want to add a dynamic product image based the event of Add to Cart in a flow for abandoned cart. The steps i follow are:Create a table with image & text Click the Preview & Test. Add to Cart Abandonment Flow Question

Second email not sending

I have one small issue. I have an automation which sends 3 emails when a from is submitted. First email goes through as it should. The second should be delayed 5 minutes, but it never sends. These emails are being sent from different email addresses. What could be issue? I have checked and everything seems to be fine. All created at the same time and all live. Automation starts when a profile is created in a list. i have read other conversations where there were similar issues but nothing helped

Stuck in a welcome flow

Hi, I am new to Klaviyo and have tried searching for an answer to my question but can’t find it.I seem to have a small number of people that are STUCK inside my welcome flow - they’ve been there for many weeks, well past when they should have been out.I have a “profile property update” set to “create in flow as welcome” before the emails start, and then another at the end that is “remove in flow”. What have I done wrong?Or could it be that they were caught in it as I was setting it up? How do I clear them out? Thank you!

Abandoned Cart and Abandoned Checkout flows triggers

We’re experiencing issues with our Abandoned Cart and Abandoned Checkout flows, which are integrated with WooCommerce. After launching the flows, we’ve noticed that the Abandoned Cart flow isn’t triggering correctly. Specifically, every time a purchase is completed, we still receive abandoned cart emails.Our tech person suggested testing the flows in Live mode, but we’re unsure how to do that or if it's feasible. Consequently, we've turned off the flows, despite having generated some revenue during the initial days.We need assistance with the following: Ensuring Proper Functionality: How can we verify that our flows are working as intended? Are there specific settings or triggers we should review? Testing the Entire Flow: What’s the best way to test an entire flow to ensure it’s functioning correctly before reactivating it? Attached are screenshots for reference. Any guidance or tips would be greatly appreciated!

How to use metric parameter in Conditional split?

Hi, I need some help.I have a custom 'Order Placed' metric that is sent from my site with these parameters:{  “order_id": 42,  “status": “new”,  “$value": 10}This metric is a trigger for a Flow, where after 3 days I want to check if the order status has changed and send an email if it hasn't. I know I can use webhook to check Order Status, but is there another way?For example, use Conditional split 'What someone has done (or not done)' 'Person has' metric 'Order Status Pending' where order_id = order_id from current flow trigger.Is there a way to put value of 'order_id' to Conditional split field?
