Issues with Sign up form and List
Hi Guys! I’m quite new to using klaviyo, I am having issues with the emails not showing up on a list even though that list is connected to the sign up form where we get the emails to opt-in into for the flow. So they show up on the sign up form but not on the list and they do not receive the flow. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Canva HTML export problem
Hello, I’m trying to export HTML template from Canva into Klaviyo (Email Template) I’m able to copy the code from Canva and paste it into Klaviyo along with the unsubscribe tag. I end up with a total of 17 lines and am able to see the preview with no problem. The problem comes in after I save, exit out, and try to preview again. I view the code in Klaviyo and it has 14 lines instead of 17.Can anyone help in this matter? $source not triggering flow even though set up as a trigger filter?
Hello, I have two sign up forms on my website which I want to trigger a particular welcome flow - one is a pop up and labels property as $source '10%coupon', one is a form at the bottom of the homepage and although I didn't set it to do this, I notice it is adding $source 'Subscribe Page' to profiles. So I have set the flow trigger to everyone on my list with the property either $source 10%coupon or $source Subscribe Page.This is working for the $source 10%coupon but not the $source Subscribe Page. When I look at 'Trigger Setup Preview' it says the profiles with $source Subscribe Page do not qualify, even though this is set up as a trigger filter. I have made sure it is inputted exactly as it is on profiles (e.g same capitalisation)Please can you help me with this? I've been going round in circles all evening! Mailchimp integration & 30 day engaged segment
Hi there,I’ve just moved over to Klaviyo from Mailchimp. When I created my newsletter list, I just uploaded a CSV file of my existing subscribers, which just included their first name, surname and email address. I didn’t realise at the time that there was a Mailchimp integration option.I have since created my 30, 60 and 90 day engaged segments but all my contacts are in each segment - I assume because they’ve just been added in the last 15 days? So, to try and solve the problem, I then realised that there was a Mailchimp integration option and I’ve added that using the API from Mailchimp. But how do the contacts in my newsletter list get updated as nothing seems to have changed?I thought they might be automatically updated to show klaviyo when they last opened emails etc or is this not possible? I thought the 30, 60, 90 day engaged lists would now be updated and show different numbers? Can anyone help?I just want to make sure I’ve done everything correctly - or should I just delete the
Manual Mode and Email Variations
I have a really large email list, and I would like to test a very small segment on several email variations before sending to everyone. My idea is to put Klaviyo into manual mode, load up the flow, then send about 10% of the emails in Needs Review and measure the results. My question is when does Klaviyo evaluate the weights for the email variations? Is it when the group of emails are first loaded into Needs Review? Or does it evaluate the weights at the time of the emails are actually sent? I'm wondering that if I change the variation weights, will Klavio take that into account immediately. Thank you!

I want to build a dashboard that reports on data for multiple flows. I built a dashboard that reports on ALL flows, but I want one that provides info only on a handful of specific flows. I see where you can use Group values and select “flow” but I don’t see a way to select specific flows. I also see the Filter values enables me to select “flow equal” but I can only enter one flow name, not multiple. Thanks!
My Sign Up from Pop up email does not send.
Hi, ive made a sign up from pop up email. And im sure i have put the right triggers and made sure to change it to the pop up from the news letter. And whenever someone subscribes they dont receive the discount code email nor the confirmation. Its been like this for a month. If someone can please help me.
Klaviyo only tracks me for "Viewed Product" and "Added to Cart" tracking
Hi! I am trying to set up a flow for the “Added to Cart Trigger”, but for some reason after installing the Viewed Product tracking and “added to cart” snippet, my feed is only showing me. What’s also weird is for the “active on site” feed, it’s also only tracking me and one other customer. Which I know is not accurate because we’ve had several orders in the past hour. I figured maybe it has something to do with cookies? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.
Adding Additional Optional Custom Fields
I’m creating a Birthday Flow, working on the best way to collect birth dates. We’re a pet brand, so collecting Pet Birthdays instead of human ones, via an embedded sign-up page. We’d like to provide a way for subscribers to click a button to add additional fields to collect information if they have more than one pet.Here’s a visual mock-up of the sort of thing I’m trying to accomplish: Anyone have suggestions for accomplishing this? Is there any way to do it through Klaviyo’s built-in sign-up page or only possible through custom html?
Birthday Collection - Best Practices?
I have a birthday flow set up, and sent out a manage preferences campaign to collect birthdays through a preferences page. Only problem is, Klaviyo doesn’t have a way to restrict what a subscriber can type into a box via a preferences page.There is no “date” box option, only text. I did give instructions above the box for how to format the date, but as we all know, some people don’t follow the instructions. Here’s a screenshot of the field:I did a test run for the manage preferences campaign and about 80% of people filled out the pet birthday correctly, with the right formatI know that you can do a sign-up form, or a custom preference page that’s hosted on your site where you could restrict what gets typed in the box, but that’s not ideal for us since we don't have a coder on staff. My question is: does anyone have a better way of collecting birthdates that doesn’t involve a custom html page?
Issue with coupons and intro email
So I set up a coupon with Justuno so someone who joins the email list gets a coupon in their first joining up email. That is fine.But what about when the joining up email is triggered when a customer buys a product? How do you make it so they don’t get a ‘default’ coupon?
Flow not sending trigger email for pop-up sign up
Hey everyone,I’ve set up a flow, with a trigger to send a 10% off code email when people sign up through the pop-up on my shop. I’ve tried everything, but the email is not sending. My store is currently password-protected, as I haven’t launched it yet. Wondering if that has anything to do with it? My pop-up adds emails to the “All Shopify Signups” list (using this list as a tester so I can get the hang of this, as I’m new to Klaviyo), however, the 10% off email will not send. Really hopeful someone can help me out, as I know this is probably so simple to fix.
Why is my SMS Flow not triggering?
Hi Klaviyo Community - I recently set up SMS collection with a signup form. The signup form works perfectly, appearing as a fly-in after 15 seconds of browsing our site on mobile. However, once a customer opts-in to SMS, and received the initial confirmation message, the flow does not trigger. I set up the flow today, and when I preview the trigger, it shows the phone # I signed up with and says this # is eligible to enter my SMS flow. However, no phone #s entered the flow. Does anyone know why the signup form would be working, adding customers mobile #s to the SMS list, and then the trigger “joined SMS list” is active on the flow, but customers are not entering? Is it because I just set up the flow a few hours ago? Thanks!
Imported List Total does not match Master List Totals and Profile List
I uploaded my Aweber list of 343 opted-in people into Klaviyo. When I check my Master List it shows all 343 were imported; however, only 221 show in the Master List.In addition, my Profile List shows 234 active profiles.Where are the other 122 people from my imported Master List?I am confused.
Signup Form - Hosted On Klaviyo?
Hi there! Is it possible to have a signup form hosted on Klaviyo the same way the list subscribe pages are (the ones with the url: https://manage.kmail-lists.com/subscriptions/subscribe?a=)? The only other option I see is creating a new list specifically for the signup form I want hosted but since this signup form is directing to my main list, I feel like I would like to avoid this if possible. Consent is not showing to flow filters
Hey Guys,It’s my first time to post question here. So I’m about to add CONSENT flow filter for my Browse Abandonment and Cart Abandonment to make it GDPR compliant however CONSENT is not showing up. Sending an email to one person (its not working)
Hi there,I am wanting to send an email to one person on my database through Klaviyo.I have followed all the steps found here: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005246328-How-to-Email-a-Single-Person-Using-KlaviyoFor some reason I cannot send the email - I edit and get it all ready but it only allows me to ‘save’ the email and not actually send. When I save it, the email is put in the ‘Scheduled’ section of the persons profile messages. From here, I am not able to delete or send or schedule the message? Its driving me crazy, please help!
Assign scores based on actions
I wanted to know if it is possible to assign a score to the user during the process of a flow. This process would serve me to segment the hottest users versus the coldest ones, in order to swgment them and offer them purchase offers. I would also like to know if this score, once the segment has been created and set as the initial trigger of a new flow, will allow me to send new emails.
New Shopify newsletter subscribers not syncing on Newsletter list
Hi there, Hope you are well and safe. I have recently synced Shopify with Klaviyo by following the instructions found online. Within the integrations> Shopify section I have clicked the option “Subscribe contacts who opt-in via Shopify, such as during checkout or with a Shopify footer form. Please see below:With this option clicked, I would expect to have any new subscriber who signs-up through the Shopify footer form automatically added on my Newsletter list. However, it does not seem to be the case. I have tested with a testing account and the email address that I use to sign-up on Shopify goes straight on to the Profiles section in Klaviyo but it does not get automatically added on the Newsletter list. I have been reading on these forums and it seems that the most common reason why this happen is having double opt-in enabled. I can confirm this is not my case because I have selected single opt-in for testing purposes.I have also read that for those people who use a 3rd party Shop
Preferences Page vs Sign Up Form
Just wondering what the difference in a preferences page and a sign up form is? There doesn’t seem to be a lot of info in the help center about the preferences page. I’m trying to build a birthday MONTH workflow for subscribers’ pets, and my custom field isn’t showing up in the Birthday flow. I have a preferences page and plan to send out an email encouraging subscribers to fill out their preferences. One of these fields is the Pet’s Birthday Month field. Preferences page doesn’t seem to have an option for a “date field”, whereas the sign up forms do, so I’m wondering if I need to create a sign-up form instead and send people there instead of to the manage preferences link. I should add that we already have a sign up pop-up to get new subscribers, managed by a third party.
Cannot import custom template successfully
If I go to Email Templates > Import and select my HTML file, I get a 500 error. However, if I go back to the list of Email Templates it will be listed anyways. If I then go to a Campaign and try to use that template, the visual template also has an error. I’m 100% blocked from creating my own templates and that’s not a good thing. At all. What gives?
