2 email addresses in one profile
There are often two customers related to our business, the adult child and their parent. The adult child may be the one that makes the purchase and has the product shipped to their parent. That means the name and email address in the profile is for the adult child but their parent is the end user and who our informational email messages are geared toward. Is it possible to have more than one email address and name under one profile so they both receive the emails? If not, when we do get an email address for the end user, which is rare, do we need to manually set up a new profile for them and create a work around to trigger the email flow for them?
Segment based on repeated orders of a particular product
Hey alltogether,I want to have a segment thats fit the following conditions:repeated customer ordered defined product more then once several times in his lifetimeI struggle with 3.My segment contains customers who placed orders at least 2 times. And it includes the customers who ordered the defined product 2 or more times in one order. My Segment should only contain customers who ordered a defined product at least two times in different orders (can be same day but usually longer time span within the next order.)I think i miss something but i can’t get around it. Any help, hint, workaround would be appreciated.:)BR Frank
please help! how to track intial source from facebook ads or Google ads?
Hi TeamI have been struggling to understand this but have not had a luckI want to track the initial source of subscribers navigating to our website. we are spending hige on facebook and google ads + other referral marketing and once some one comes from any source, they will be triggered with an optimonk pop up which will be passed to klaviyo. or the other way to add is customer opting in via shopify checkout.Now we want to know the LTV of customers coming via facebook ads (not lead gen) and added to klaviyo. As per klaviyo articles, i tried creating a segment to find subscribers via facebook but all i can see is some random ads ids which looks like name of the campaigns, but not sure if its via facebook or google. Attaching the screenshot below is there a way i can identify if the initial source for navigating to the website and added on klaviyo list?same for Google.we want to spend on a channel where the subscriber clv is high?Thank you in advance.

Importing contact list didn't succeed
Hi,I exported a Klaviyo list to csv, then deleted all emails/accounts which hadn’t accept emailmarketing. After that, I tried to import the csv file again in Klaviyo to a new list, but Klaviyo said the e-mails were invalid. Does someone know how to fix this? Artur
Why is my main subscriber List Number Higher than my Active Profiles in My Account?
Hi I have recently cleaned my list and my profile shows I have 4000 active profiles and yet my subscribe main list is 5680. How do i align my list and active profiles? I also not that if i want to send an email campaign the number it goes to is less than the 4000 active profiles. Look forward to hearing from you guys
Unable to Collect New Subscribers in Klaviyo
Hi Everyone, By adding my email (as a test) onto my Shopify Theme Pop-up, my information is collected in the Shopify Customer tab. I am using Shopify’s Prestige Theme I have integrated Klaivyo to my Shopify account and set up a number of Flows to all new subscribers. However my email is not collected in Klaviyo under Profits or Lists/Segements and I do not get triggered with the Welcome email. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Klaviyo is consistently slow lately
Is anyone else having a problem lately of Klaviyo being even slower than usual? I’ve always experienced some slowness, but it seems to be getting progressively worse. More often than before, segments will be stuck at “0.1%” for several minutes before calculating, and exporting even a small segment can take several minutes as well. Today I’m trying to upload a new suppression list, and I’ve had this for over 20 minutes (with a faint green line finally appearing after about 15): This is simply ridiculous.
How to bulk update profile properties , & without wiping out existing data?
We sell a STEM product and have different kits depending on whether you’re a grandparent buying it as a gift for a grandchild, or a teacher purchasing a kit suited to their kindergarten.We’re wanting 1 master list, and to segment that by different verticals that use our products. Our list size is around 5k contacts.We want segments such as “gift buyers,” “kindergarten teachers,” “primary school teachers,” etc.I’m lost as to where to start, have tried to look into tags, segments, properties...So far I suspect it’s best to create custom properties?But I can’t see how to bulk add properties to existing profiles.Do I need to export our list, add the new column/property, then re-upload? I’m so worried it will override the existing profile of each email address!!! But am OK with manually going thru the exported spreadsheet and updating each contact if that’s the best way to do it and it won’t affect other existing profile data when we re-upload.And do I understand right that once we’ve uploa
How can a profile that bounced also open a campaign?
I was following the instructions on the topic “List Cleaning” and there was the suggestion to create a segment of soft bounces (ex. 4 soft bounces all time), for further suppression. I noticed that one of the contacts had 4 bounces, but also had opened the very same campaigns. How can that be? I got confused…I seems that the suggestion to suppress those profiles would not be a good idea. The profile I examined, after all, did open the campaigns.
Multiple Values for One Custom Properties
I recently collected data on a group of consumers. I have the data in an excel CSV. Two of the questions results in multiple answers (ie. favorite brands and favorite activities). Ideally I could create a custom property for “Brands” and “Activities” and they could have multiple values populated for each in their profile. I’m not seeing this as an option when uploading my contact data into Klaviyo.Any solutions to allow for multiple values in one custom property?
Ask people to fill in details about themselves
Hi there, I would like to know more about my subscribers. I want to integrate this in my welcome flow. At first I wanted to use checkboxes in my email and connect those to custom properties. Is there a way this could work in Klaviyo? As a back up plan, I wanted to link to a manage preference page, using the manage preference tag in a button. Also this is not working. Does anyone have experience with this? :) or maybe some other great ideas? Thnks!Krizia
How can I trigger a subscriber to be added to multiple lists when they sign up?
Hi everyone,I’m wondering if someone can help me out with this! I have a pop-up on my website that says “Sign up for 10%!”, which adds them to my “10% off” list, and triggers a flow to send them a discount code. The problem I’m having is, is that I don’t know how to make sure their e-mail is ALSO added to my “Newsletter” list. I want to keep these separate, because I don’t want people who sign up for my email at my footer to get 10% off also. Does this make sense? If so, is this possible? Any help is appreciated! Why is the new editor seem to be slow?
I am literally tearing my hair out. Is there anyone there at Klaviyo in a support role? The entire app is SO dang slow I'm literally about to punch the screen. I'm using the new template editor but it's never been THIS Bad before. Wondering right now why I switched from mailchimp. What should have been a 10 min task has turned into over an hour and I'm literally making no progress at all. I wanted to send this email tonight but am looking at not being able to do anything at all given it’s like pulling teeth. Anyone else in the same boat or can suggest a fix??????????
Confused about importing list from Mailchimp and merging to Newletter
Hi,We used Klaviyo about 3 years ago and then moved to MailChimp. The bulk of our contacts were acquired via MailChimp. Now we have switched back to Klaviyo and my husband tried to import the MailChimp list. It seems there was a list list previously in Klaviyo with my store’s name attached and when my husband imported the MailChimp list he for some unknown reason created 2 segments (“Not in MailChimp and Merged Klaviyo and MailChimp) and 1 list “Not suppressed and accepts marketing”. I am so confused as to why he did this! He can’t explain or fix it and when he tried to move the contact to “Newsletter” he received a Klaviyo error that states the contact are unmapped. Can someone please help me fix this? When he tried years ago to import Klaviyo to MailChimp he did something similar and I ended up not emailing a portion of my list because the list was never imported correctly. I didn’t find the error until 2 years later. Please keep in mind that my husband can’t seem to understand that
Signup Forms birthday -> Where can I see the birthday date of each subscriber?
Hello !I have created a Signup Form that requests the email, day and month of the user's birthday.Now, I see the list where they are saved, but I can't find the birthday date and therefore, how can I create a flow or campaign to greet them and send them a birthday discount code.Thanks !
