Hey! I feel like this is such a silly Q, but I am going to ask it anyway. I have a sunset flow set up for my unengaged people. But what I want to accomplish is suppressing those that unsubscribed. So I made a segment where my criteria is as follows:I feel like this is not correct...but maybe it is? Please help, homegirl just trying to clean her account up. Thanks!
Hello! We created a welcome flow for our ETSY customers and we’re about ready to start sending promotions to this new ETSY customer list. Our concern is that there may be profiles on our ETSY list, which also appear on our main SHOPIFY customer list. Our question: How can we remove (suppress) DUPLICATES from the Etsy list, our preference is to keep a duplicate profile on our main SHOPIFY customer list, but to remove any duplicate profiles from our ETSY customer list? Hope that made sense! Thanks in advance, Jason
Hi everyone, I was wondering how you guys would build a sunset segment post-IOS 15 ? Would you only have segment with clicks ?Would you create 2 sunset flows (one for Apple privacy opens and one for non Apple privacy opens ?) I am very opened to new ideas because I am kind of stuck there. Thanks for your help ! Hugo
I was following the instructions on the topic “List Cleaning” and there was the suggestion to create a segment of soft bounces (ex. 4 soft bounces all time), for further suppression. I noticed that one of the contacts had 4 bounces, but also had opened the very same campaigns. How can that be? I got confused…I seems that the suggestion to suppress those profiles would not be a good idea. The profile I examined, after all, did open the campaigns.
Hi Everyone, By adding my email (as a test) onto my Shopify Theme Pop-up, my information is collected in the Shopify Customer tab. I am using Shopify’s Prestige Theme I have integrated Klaivyo to my Shopify account and set up a number of Flows to all new subscribers. However my email is not collected in Klaviyo under Profits or Lists/Segements and I do not get triggered with the Welcome email. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Hi,I’m trying to figure out why the the number of active profiles under Profiles does not match the Active Customers segment I use. What are the definitions Klaviyo uses for active profiles?I only send email to the Active Customers segment, which has 5694 subscribers, but Profiles show I have 13,142 active profiles.I’ve tried cleaning up all lists and suppressing anyone who hasn’t been active in the last year or doesn’t respond to my Sunset Unengaged Flow, but that doesn’t seem to have affected the Active profile count. The Segment definitions I have for active customers are:placed order at least once in the last 52 weeks or last active in the last 120 days or was added in the last 180 days person is not suppressedI would like to pay for a plan that reflects the actual number of customers I’m sending email to.
Hi,Really hope someone can help with this one!I am trying to create a list or a segment of people who have written Product Reviews on our website so we can email them. How can I define this metric or measure so I can select it to create a list? So it would fall under Someone who has done something - I need to create a measure of the act ofsubmitting a product review...can anyone tell me how this is done? Thanks Sue
Hi, When i Add member in list through rest api . In Profile List Page profile is showing by email id not by first name and last name but when same data import through csv manually, then on profile listing page its show with first name + last name. i wanna same when i add data through api.
Hello! I’m quite new to Klaviyo and, since my previous provider had a different system, I made a mistake when setting up my lists.I currently have:one list for new subscribers with a discount code one list for new subscribers without a discount code a regular, “main” Marketing list (where everyone would have been directed to before Klaviyo, once they went through their welcome series)Having understood this to be “wrong,” I now wish to have just one single marketing list, but with two Welcome Series flows (one with a discount code, one without). My questions are:How do I add the present Discount and Non-Discount Welcome Series flows to my main Marketing list (since they are currently in the other two separate lists I want to delete) How do I change the flows to point to my Marketing list instead of the current discount and non-discount lists I wish to delete? Is it safe to delete those lists I’ll no longer be using after redirecting all new subscribers to the main list?I hope I’ve explai
We currently have so many variations of the same labeled tag, which is causing our Flow automation to fail to grab everyone we wish to receive those emails. Is there a way to manage your Shopify tags from Klaviyo? We want to consolidate and clean up these values, but I cannot find a place to do so in Klaviyo or Shopify.
Scenario: You sell several different categories of products. It’s likely that someone who once opted in, only wants to receive specific emails about that particular category. By chance, the last 3 campaign emails they received do not include that specific product category. Now your emails no longer feel relevant to them, so they stop opening your emails. Question: Is it possible to send a re-sign-up form to the lists to allow people to segment themselves according to product interest? Thanks! Ben
Hello Klaviyo Community! 😀 I’ve built out a workflow. In one of the e-mails I introduce them to the 3 main categories of my business. I’ve linked each category to the relevant category on my site. However, I’d like to create a list or segment based off link clicks for each category that in essence holds the subscribers that showed an interest in either of the categories. I read about the update user profile but the problem with this is that if someone clicks on 2 of the links, then only one pulls through. The user should be able to click all 3 if they want to as I just want to be able to market them in future based off what category they clicked on (which shows me what they’re interested in). Could you kindly let me know how to achieve this? Warm regards,Rox
Hi everyone, I have a bilingual store (french/english) and I sell in Canada and US. I have a shopify store and my currency is USD. I think that’s why all my flows take for granted that people will pay in USD no matter where they come from. I think that’s a problem for me because, as an example, when my email subscribers receive a message, they see the USD price. I don’t want that for my Canadian customers. Maybe that is not happening and Klaviyo is a beast and understand, but I want to be sure. So, should I do something or it’s already being take care of automatically?
I wanted to know if it is possible to assign a score to the user during the process of a flow. This process would serve me to segment the hottest users versus the coldest ones, in order to swgment them and offer them purchase offers. I would also like to know if this score, once the segment has been created and set as the initial trigger of a new flow, will allow me to send new emails.
Hi,We used Klaviyo about 3 years ago and then moved to MailChimp. The bulk of our contacts were acquired via MailChimp. Now we have switched back to Klaviyo and my husband tried to import the MailChimp list. It seems there was a list list previously in Klaviyo with my store’s name attached and when my husband imported the MailChimp list he for some unknown reason created 2 segments (“Not in MailChimp and Merged Klaviyo and MailChimp) and 1 list “Not suppressed and accepts marketing”. I am so confused as to why he did this! He can’t explain or fix it and when he tried to move the contact to “Newsletter” he received a Klaviyo error that states the contact are unmapped. Can someone please help me fix this? When he tried years ago to import Klaviyo to MailChimp he did something similar and I ended up not emailing a portion of my list because the list was never imported correctly. I didn’t find the error until 2 years later. Please keep in mind that my husband can’t seem to understand that
When I imported (synced) my Mailchimp contacts into Klaviyo, Klaviyo created many errors in the profile properties, especially for phone number and location information (city, state/region, country, zip code, latitude longitude). I spent considerable time populating a csv file to correct the errors and then imported the file into Klaviyo. The import successfully corrected errors that involved replacing one value (the incorrect one) with another. However, for those properties where I tried to delete the incorrect value (rather than replacing it with another value), it was unsuccessful – the incorrect value remained. In other words, in the imported csv file, there were some items for which I tried to replace an incorrect property value with a blank, but it didn’t work – the incorrect value was not replaced with a blank. How can I delete incorrect values from properties?
At present we have a pop up to with second step to ask customers for product type of most interest however if we could also allow the customer to select their favourite brand then this would allow us to send them more relevant emails. As we use Shopify this would be the product vendor name. Does anyone know how I can make this happen? Thanks
What is the best way to consolidate custom properties? We have 3 different properties set for the same purpose (signing up for a particular segment of our list).Example:One previous ESP property is set as a tag Another previous ESP property is set as a AB custom property New subscribers with Klaviyo have XY custom property. This is the one we would want the other two to “populate.”They all mean the same thing, but it’s cumbersome setting up segments for them because you have to include all of the options. It would also be cleaner to have everyone with the same customer properties overall.I realize a CVS export/import is probably the way to go, but I’m not sure exactly how to do that in this case. Thanks!
