“if you wanted to track all the users who have subscribed to your master list coming from an external competition landing page, this is simple. You pass the data across to Klaviyo with the required hidden $source field upon form submission (sign-up) and then as the user profile is added to the master list, so to is this database field for the $source (where they came from). From here, you can build dynamic segments, using the condition that filters for that source, and instantly you have a dynamic, real-time update of all of they users who have signed up from your external competition landing page in this example.”I was reading this, and i’m not sure how it is possible to pass data across klaviyo from an external landing page. someone can explain me?
Hi TeamI have been struggling to understand this but have not had a luckI want to track the initial source of subscribers navigating to our website. we are spending hige on facebook and google ads + other referral marketing and once some one comes from any source, they will be triggered with an optimonk pop up which will be passed to klaviyo. or the other way to add is customer opting in via shopify checkout. Now we want to know the LTV of customers coming via facebook ads (not lead gen) and added to klaviyo. As per klaviyo articles, i tried creating a segment to find subscribers via facebook but all i can see is some random ads ids which looks like name of the campaigns, but not sure if its via facebook or google. Attaching the screenshot below is there a way i can identify if the initial source for navigating to the website and added on klaviyo list?same for Google.we want to spend on a channel where the subscriber clv is high?Thank you in advance.
Hi, After using several different imports to try out I now have some import fields which I do not want to use. To avoid that these still appear when creating tags or segments, I was wondering if there is a place where you can reset or delete these. For example.I have a field called “Klantnummer” and a field called “Klantennummer”. After clearing all my lists and segments, I do not want to use the first (Klantnummer) anymore so I want it gone. How can I do that ?
I’m trying to organize my lists better. My new sign-ups go to the newsletter list, but old contacts from Mailchimp that accept marketing and aren’t suppressed are in a separate list which needs to be cleaned. My question is what would the best practice be for cleaning the list of old subscribers and moving the remaining subscribers to the newsletter list? Any tips you guys have will be most appreciated.
Hi,We’re setting up our Klaviyo (and it’s all going very well so far, I’m enjoying it! 😀)I’ve got a little question regarding self-segmentation. We would like our customers to choose what kinds of messaging they receive (news/offers/guides) and subject areas of interest (e.g. teaching/accountancy/healthcare). We don’t want to send them emails about irrelevant subjects.I’d like them to be able to manage that so instead of choosing to unsubscribe from all, they might just choose to receive emails on a narrower selection of topics.Initially I thought I could tie a list of options to a profile property. If someone choose “Childcare” and “Counselling” in this example the profile property Interests would contain the two list values “Childcare, Counselling”. However I don’t think that’s how Klaviyo’s model works? Is there something I’ve missed here? Or would I be right in thinking we need to use a custom page?https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005077067-How-to-custom-code-consent-
Hi,I exported a Klaviyo list to csv, then deleted all emails/accounts which hadn’t accept emailmarketing. After that, I tried to import the csv file again in Klaviyo to a new list, but Klaviyo said the e-mails were invalid. Does someone know how to fix this? Artur
Hello !I have created a Signup Form that requests the email, day and month of the user's birthday. Now, I see the list where they are saved, but I can't find the birthday date and therefore, how can I create a flow or campaign to greet them and send them a birthday discount code. Thanks !
Hi,I’m a total newbie, but I embedded a form on Shopify which has been submitted 86 times. But the contacts went into my main ‘subscribers’ list, instead of a new list I wanted them to go into. I’ve now fixed it so they’re going into the correct list, but is there a way I can find all the contacts that previously submitted through this particular form and move them from my main subscriber list into the correct list? Thanks!Paul
Hi everyone,I’m wondering if someone can help me out with this! I have a pop-up on my website that says “Sign up for 10%!”, which adds them to my “10% off” list, and triggers a flow to send them a discount code. The problem I’m having is, is that I don’t know how to make sure their e-mail is ALSO added to my “Newsletter” list. I want to keep these separate, because I don’t want people who sign up for my email at my footer to get 10% off also. Does this make sense? If so, is this possible? Any help is appreciated! Thanks so much :)Jean-Luc
So long story short - I’m trying to find a workaround while transitioning from a 3rd party “back in stock” notification app to using Klaviyo, but there are quite a few people already signed up for notifications from the app.My plan was to create multiple small lists via manual upload (that will later on be deleted) for each SKU that is awaiting replenishment notification, then create a simple template and send manual campaigns as each item is re-stocked… but many of the profiles already exist in Klaviyo. Most of them are not subscribed or suppressed (some heavy list cleaning is on the horizon once I’ve implemented win-back and sunset campaigns/flows).I’m concerned about what happens if I upload CSV’s that only contain an email address, and the email address is already associated with a profile in Klaviyo...Per this article: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005078967-How-to-Create-and-Add-Contacts-to-a-New-List:“Any value/column that you include in a CSV upload that alread
Hi there! I’m creating a signup form for a list in Klaviyo. Is there a way to add custom parameters to the signup so that I can segment my list later on based on those parameters? As an example, if part of my signup form includes mobile device type (e.g. iPhone, Android) can I pass that value in when the user signs up and then later only text/email users on a list who have iPhones? Many thanks!
So according to Klaviyo documentation, a profile can only enter a list triggered flow once. I’ve built a new, fairly large welcome flow as I’m consolidating multiple lists into one, and this flow has splits based on where/how someone enrolls in the list, which are:Form 1 Form 2 Back in stock CheckoutI just want to be sure there is nothing else that needs to be done to prevent someone getting the welcome flow twice if they sign up via Form 1 for a discount, then checking yes to subscribe again at checkout? I think I’m safe since the trigger is still subscribing to the one single list.
Hi there, I would like to know more about my subscribers. I want to integrate this in my welcome flow. At first I wanted to use checkboxes in my email and connect those to custom properties. Is there a way this could work in Klaviyo? As a back up plan, I wanted to link to a manage preference page, using the manage preference tag in a button. Also this is not working. Does anyone have experience with this? :) or maybe some other great ideas? Thnks!Krizia
I want to send new subscribers an email that asks their interests, and have responses be added to customer profile. One question with 5 responses. If subscriber clicks on a response button, that attribute gets added to their profile. Can I do this within Klaviyo? Is there a tutorial?
