Default Country drop down list

I want to be able to let my site visitors choose their location/country from a drop-down list when they signup but at the minute I have to create a manual list and enter all 190+ countries as options. You have a drop-down list with country under “Phone”, couldn’t you just take that exact piece of code, remove the extension information, and use that as a drop-down list for “Country”? It would save a huge amount of time, especially as you cannot clone a Signup Form across different lists, meaning you have to enter the same 190+ countries every time you create a form for a new List.

VIP and 'almost' VIP

Hello everyone! It's my first message here :) I'm going crazy with creating an audience, that is, almost VIP customers. I start from the VIPs to give a reference: Are those customers who have bought at least 4 times or have spent more than 200€ The 'quai' Vip therefore would be those who have spent 3 times or have spent from 190 to 199€ I can't find the correct method to set up the Revenue. If I enter - at least 190€ - I get the audience that has spent maybe even 230€ (for example) but this customer is a Vip not an 'almost' VIP. I can't find a solution, not even from the assistance they seem to understand my need ... Can you help me?

Almost Vip segment

Hello everyone! I'm going crazy with the creation of an audience, that is, almost VIP customers. I start from the VIPs to give a reference: They are those customers who have bought at least 4 times or spent more than €200 The "quai" Vip would therefore be those who have spent 3 times or have spent from 190 to 199€ I can't find the correct method to set the revenue. If within - at least €190 - I get the public who has spent maybe even €230 (for example) but this customer is a VIP not an "almost" VIP. I can't find a solution, not even from the assistance they seem to understand my need ... Can you help me? I already know it doesn't work: There are only 2 users. Best Segment Settings for Customers who have opted to receive emails, but haven't been on the list I've been using

I just realized that the list I’ve been using for the past few years to send emails to our customers, isn’t comprehensive of every profile that has opted to receive our emails (I’m assuming this is because of the connection with Shopify and changes we’ve made over the years).I was hoping someone could give me the definitions I could use that would show me the people who are willing to receive our emails, but haven’t been. I want to gradually start sending emails to them in advance of BFCM.Of course, I’ll use the ‘who are not on list’ but I always find it tricky with who can receive emails/accepts marketing. Sometimes people accept marketing initially and then opt out later on, or they initially don’t accept marketing and then opt in. I’ve had issues in the past where suppressed profiles were receiving emails, so I want to make sure this doesn’t happen again! Thanks so much!

Adding Profile Property via button trigger

Hi there!I am looking to add a profile property and value via button trigger.I am looking to segment via cat owner or dog owner as a pet wellness brand. When they receive the email, they will click ‘Dog’ ‘Cat’ or ‘Both’. When they click this, ideally, they would have a profile property value added like ‘Dog, Cat or Both’, the value will update to the preference selected ie. Dog. I have gone through a few Klayvio Community pages and FAQ pages, however, I am still having trouble.Is it because we are not ‘updating’ rather ‘adding’?This is the button link I have currently. Hello,How would I move a profile to a new list (or segment) when they are done with a flow?I have leads that will come in to a flow (triggered because they were added to a list) but after they are done with that email sequence I want them then moved to a general broadcast list (or segment).This seems really difficult to achieve and support still can’t get me the answer (although they have tried to be helpful).Has anyone else had this same issue? This is so elementary for autoresponders so I’m a little shocked.ThanksKen

Segment or Profile Property - Days Left Until

Hey!So my brand uses an event date to send helpful tips via flows, but also uses that same date for inclusion/exclusion logic on campaigns. The date is different for every profile, and the typical date ranges from anywhere a year or two in the past through a year or two in the future.I want to create a segment, for example, of users whose date is between 60 and 120 days from today, with ‘today’ being dynamic - ie, not a static September 24, 2024 through November 23, 2024.Alternately, I can accomplish the same thing if I have a flow set up to update a profile property with this logic, ie if the user’s date is November 23, 2024, the flow would start a year before and then update either periodically or, ideally, daily so that today it’d say DaysUntil: 103, tomorrow it’d change to say 102, etc. From there I could simply pull a segment, then, of people who DaysUntil is between 60 and 120/ Creating this via a date-based flow trigger, though, would require creating both a time delay and a pro

Looking for some advvice about cross promoting lists

My client has 2 accounts that sell related products, one is knitwear, the other is woven garments, etc. They are both steeped in culture and have some mutual customers and subscribers to both of their lists (although I’m not sure how much)We want to expand both of the lists to reach as many people as possible. What is the best practice when considering a task like this? Both from an efficiency and an ethical stand point.Can we, for example, add the customers not from GDPR region store 1 to store’s 2 database? Or would something like an affiliate cross-promotion campaign be used here? I’m tending towards option 2 here, but I’m asking about option one to be sure that’s not an option as this is what the client initially wanted to do. Also, what would be the easiest way to discover what the overlap of profiles on these two accounts is? I’m presuming some CSV downloads and a comparison on Google sheets?

Endlessly confused by profiles subscribed accepts marketing - who can I send to?

I must be super thick as I cannot seem to get my head around these profile statuses.One client has:Listed as Subscribed on Shopify Klaviyo property shows as ‘Email never subscribed’. Accepts Marketing = TrueI have sync turned on for Shopify - Klaviyo, yet customer appears subscribed in Shopify and Never Subscribed on KlaviyoI understand that Accepts marketing Shopify custom property, what I don’t understand is am I safe to send them regular camping emails?I can assume this person is counted as an Active Subscriber but -Is this person subscribed or not subscribed?Which value am I to believe?HALP!! Have reached out to support but clarification was not clear. Have read online but info appears to be 3 years old or so, so not keen to trust its accuracy.

Double Opt-In and Shopify POS

Hi all, I’m wondering whether it’s possible to require double opt-in for customers who subscribe to our newsletter via the forms on our site, but not require it for people who opt-in when checking out via POS. We have a small store and we also do several shows per year. We offer a small gift to people who subscribe to the newsletter upon checkout. However, I recently set up a new welcome flow, and when I was looking to see if it was working as intended, I realized a recent store customer who had accepted marketing when being checked out on the POS, was not in the newsletter list.His Shopify profile says “accepts marketing”.His Klayvio profile says Accepts Marketing = True His Klayvio Profile also says Email: Never subscribed.  I’m wondering if this is because he received a double-opt in email and didn’t click it. Which leads me back to my question: it looks like the double opt-in on the newsletter list is either on or off, no in between. Is there any way to have Shopify integrations av

Bot Clicks while saparating list

So we’re trying to separate our email list into B2B and B2C. I set up the properties with the corresponding segments and created a campaign to automate the process. The problem I’m running now are bot clicks. Is there a way to exclude the profiles that have joined a segment via a bot click? Doing it manually is not an option at our scale.

Customize columns in Profiles dashboard

This may be more of a feature request than an inquiry...I would like to adjust the columns displayed on the Profiles page. We use a number of custom properties which would be helpful to reference. I occasionally search for email addresses to verify if they have a profile in our Klaviyo account. If they do, it would be nice to quickly identify properties like subscription status, last page viewed, etc. without having to click into the profile, scroll through default properties, or click/search among custom properties. This customization is available in competitors’ products, so it would be nice to see Klaviyo catch up.

Hello there, my title says it all.I am going to List&Segments, choose my list, go to settings, then consent and Single opt-in is selected.But then when I enter an email in the form I get an email asking me to confirm and also the first email of my flow.How can I make it stop sending out this double opt-in email?Thanks

Receiving Confirmation Email Despite Setting To Single Opt-In | Help | How to Fix?

Hello, Thank you in advance for your consideration and assistance! I’ve set both Klaviyo List & Shopify to “Single Opt-In”. When signing up on the site, I should NOT be receiving a confirmation email. Unable to delete profile

Hello! I am trying to delete a couple of test profiles from my account, but it will not let me delete for some reason. Steps Taken: 1- Navigate to the profile that I want to delete, and select it2 - In the top right corner of the Klaviyo Interface, select Profile Actions > Delete Profile Expected results: Profile is no longer in profiles listActual results: Profile is still showing in the list. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you so much!

Will importing contacts trigger an automated email? (I know...basic question, but I'm a newbie :) )

I am new to Klaviyo and trying to be super careful. I need to import a list of people who have been subscribers for a long time (outside of Klaviyo).When I import them to my newsletter list will it trigger any kind of automated email? Seeking Advice on Managing Re-subscriptions in Sunset Flow

Hello Klaviyo Community, I’m currently setting up a sunset flow for subscribers on my main email list who have been subscribed for at least 180 days but haven’t opened an email in that time. The goal is to re-engage them with a discount offer, and if that fails, to suppress them to maintain list health. Current Setup: 1. Unengagement Identification: Subscribers who meet the unengagement criteria after the sunset flow are tagged with a custom profile property “Unengaged” set to “yes” (using text due to issues with boolean properties in Klaviyo I have seen with this topic).2. Suppression Process: These unengaged profiles are added to a segment called “Suppress Profiles,” which I plan to manually suppress monthly and remove from my main list. Challenge:My concern is regarding subscribers who are suppressed but later decide to rejoin the email list. The “Unengaged” property would still be set to “yes,” potentially causing them to be re-suppressed in the subsequent monthly cleanup. Proposed

Getting invalid phone number - For Update List API

If I move one subscriber from one list to another, will this trigger the new list's Welcome Series?

Hello there,I’m currently trying to tidy up my lists. I have a couple of questions:is it legally safe for me to manually delete a contact from one list and add it to another (ticking the box that the person has consented to receive emails from me, which they have)  will this trigger the Welcome Series for that person I’ve just added?Thanks! I know there’s a better way to move people from one list to another but right now doing it manually seems to be the only way my brain is willing to do it… if you have a *super* simple way of doing this, let me know!

Inactive Segments

I’m going to admit, inactive segments caught me off guard.. with no product announcement that I heard.I get that it’s meant to clean up the segments list, but we create a number of segments for our clients to see how many people belong to each cohort/group, such as interest in a collection/category. These segments just sit there to be used for reporting each month, and could be used in future campaigns.I went looking for some segments to report on these numbers a few months ago for one client, and they were missing… I found a small text link called “inactive campaigns” where they all were living, but had to go through 6 pages of inactive segments to find the ones I needed, and reactivate one at a time.. this costed me valuable time.I have just come to this issue now with several other accounts, and it is really annoying… does anyone else use segments this way?Klaviyo product team is there anyway to turn this feature off for the clients we manage?

Updating Property with Yes but it changes to 0

Hello, We just recently signed up with Klaviyo. We can create a profile and push it into Klaviyo. We have a property called ScheduledEstimate. When we create the profile the default value is “No”, but when we try updating the property later on and changing the value to yes, it keeps defaulting to 0 instead of yes. Does anyone have any suggestions on why it would be doing that? I was not able to find anything online regarding it.
