Hi all, I’m not sure if this happens automatically, but if not, is there a way to make all flows push people onto the main list? I’m imagining it as a step in all the flows (“add email to main list”), but I’m very green at all this, so I don’t do if that do-able or not. I thought it might be something to do with the “webhook”, but after reading more, I think that’s something else.Apologies for a potentially stupid question… I’m new to all this!
The emails of a few of my key customers (subscribers) was recently changed as their companies were taken over by other companies. What would be the best way to manage this change in email ? Create a new user (or) just replace existing email with new email ?Any precautions to be taken while doing these changes ? (like taking a backup of previous campaign results etc.)
I have mistakingly added a few profiles which shouldnt have been suppressed manually via a CSV, how do i undo this? I have added a new segment to identify these circa 7500 profiles however I am unable to find where I can upload this csv to “re-subscribe” these people.I have emailed supportm and await responseMany thanks
dear all, i have no idea why but in my klaviyo app i always have 2 events which fire for the add-to-cart event per profile. one of them is klaviyo and fine, the other one i dont know. i cannot find anything in my code. do you have an idea where this add to cart event comes from (see screenshot below)? or is it from shopify by default? how can i find out? screenshot: https://prnt.sc/PYDWvAvifbpw many thanks and bestjan
Looking for guidance please! We have two lists within one Klaviyo account, each list being linked to a separate Shopify store. We have merged our two Shopify stores into one and we want to migrate profiles and as much of the transactional (including newsletter opens etc) data as possible from the redundant Klaviyo list into the ongoing one. Please could anyone give us guidance as to how we can best achieve this at the same time losing the minimum amount of data possible? Thank you.
Hello there, we want to know a bit more about our unsubscribers. Especially where they are located. So my solution was to do a segment where all unsusbscribers will be added as soon as they unsubscribe from a certain list. How do I create this segment? There is a way to say What someone has done or not done….Unsuscribed from a list…But there is no filter to specify what list. Would be great to get some ideas. May be there is an even easier way?Best regardsTobias

Hi,We’re looking into potentially sending a transactional/flow email to active profiles that are unsubscribed.We’d love to add something a banner about an upcoming sale. I made a segment of “purchased all time” and “not subscribed”, and it’s almost double what our “purchased all time” and “subscribed”. Wondering if i’m able to send them an email if they’re not opted into our marketing emails. Would this be a winback, and would that be okay to send if they’re not subcribed?We have a pretty high open rate, so I don’t want this to ruin our deliverability, but would love to re-engage our purchasers who don’t want to receive marketing emails.A few questions:Will this affect our deliverability? Has anyone done this and found success?

Good morning,I have an issue regarding locations in Klaviyo.I’m working on a flow and I’d like to send alternative emails to users coming from certain countries.The problem stems from the fact that there are certain countries I can’t find in conditional splits under properties about someone - country.Do you have any advice or fixes?Thanks in advance :)Georges
Hi all, I’m very new to Klaviyo and tying to learn lists and segments. We have imported customer data into Klaviyo and I have a certain number of active profiles showing but they aren’t all in the main segment list. I can’t work out how to get them all showing in a master/main list so I can then start segmenting them. I thought I might be able to export the active profiles via a CSV so I could then upload them into a master/main list but this doesn’t appear anywhere as an option. Any help anyone has on this would be greatly appreciated. Tabetha

ContextSigned up to Klaviyo back in May and have a huge list of 140k emails and only 10k have any meaningful data I can use to create my engage and unengaged segments, another 10k past purchasers and the rest don’t have any data since being imported from Shopify. The sunset flows, unengaged segments and suppression list process are clear to me. I already suppressed about 20k emails that didn’t accept marketing.QuestionI would like to know how to best approach the data collection and subsequent list cleaning without having to blast all 100k emails at the same time for (let’s say) 10 times until I have enough data to see who is active or not. Are there any segments I can create that would allow me contact these partially?What I tried alreadyTried creating a segment based on people’s first activity but only goes back to May, so it leaves out all 100k emails completely Tried creating a segment based on profile creation, but they were all basically created in May so they are all included My
Hello,I am working on a flow, where i have to create integration in Zendesk, Basically there are some customers which we want to retarget again, they are something like on hold lead which can become our potential customers,The flow is something like, we are taking follow up from Customers through Zendesk ticket, but after 1 followe if they are not responding, we need to make an automation, where we will target that specific customers, And through that specific automation, i want to fire event so we can move that hold lead customer to Klavio List name “Future Lead”, So we can remarket again with some good offer,So in this scenarion, i am looking How i can able to move customer details from zendesk to Klavio, to Speific “Future Lead List”, Please Tell me if there is any scenario, Currently its only showing the method to upload CSV of specific users, I want to make it automaticlooking for the response.Thank You
I have a client who’s business in in Canada. I am looking for clarity on whether we can send Abandon Checkout Emails to site visitors who have not opted in to receive email marketing.CASL compliance seems a bit different from GDPR and I cannot find any exact information around Abandon Checkout Emails.CASL required explicit consent for marketing emails, but implicit consent for certain transactional emails. Does the user entering their email at checkout fall under implicit consent and therefore we can legally send them abandon checkout emails?These emails are automatically sent when a user enters their email details into the website at checkout, even if they have not opted into email marketing.Or do I need to set up a trigger in the Abandon Flow to exclude anyone who hasn’t joined a list? This seems to be a very grey area so hoping for some clarity as excluding users who have not opted into marketing emails will exclude a large portion of users, thus reducing the power of email signific
There are often two customers related to our business, the adult child and their parent. The adult child may be the one that makes the purchase and has the product shipped to their parent. That means the name and email address in the profile is for the adult child but their parent is the end user and who our informational email messages are geared toward. Is it possible to have more than one email address and name under one profile so they both receive the emails? If not, when we do get an email address for the end user, which is rare, do we need to manually set up a new profile for them and create a work around to trigger the email flow for them?
Hi there I am working on my Preference pages. I know that I have to do it under each list, but if I send to a Segment (see picture) then the Preference page for a list is not used. Do I need to ad the list the campaign and the the segement? to make sure that the right Peference page is used?
Hi there! Say if I were to create a survey using Google form (its free!), what is the best practice to have the information collected from each form question directly synced/ updated into the Klaviyo’s customer profiles? I know that we can use Typeform/ Survicate to create the survey as these 2 survey platforms have direct integration with Klaviyo. However, I am trying to explore other ways that could possibly save up cost.
