Hi, I’m doing email marketing for a campsite. I would like to send a flow to people before and after arrival. The booking system used is not integrated with Klaviyo - so what is the easiest way to add time of arrival into my subscribers’ profile? If the only way is to do it manually - will it then be possible to - for example - upload an excel-file with emails of people who have booked (without a specific date) and have the system automatically ad a “booked” tag to those profiles? I’m using Shopify Dawn theme and inserting a section with email signup, but when I use it the email is only added to Klaviyos contact list, and I can’t get it into the newsletter list.I’ve also tried to create a signup form through Klaviyo and added the embed code to my newsletter page in a custom liquid sectoion, but nothing shows up, it’s just blank.Shopify is in my Klaviyo integrations and vice versa.
Unfortunately my segments have disappeared and are not in archived!! Can you put them back or are the gone. I made then for every state in Australia. I don’t understand how they can just disappear! Is there any other way of recovery or I have to make them all again? Bev PS one more question the pop out subscribers list is not meant to come out until the person is leaving the page it comes out as soon as the page is loaded? What do you recommend to do about this? PSS my customers are getting an you left something it your cart after they have purchased something? Ive looked at my flow but don’t understand why this is happening, its terrible for my customers? HiWe have built an integration with OneTrust and since there’s no webhook feature in Klaviyo we are using OneTrust to collect subscriptions and then send users to Klaviyo via APIs.Everything works fine, just depending on the collection point used to collect data OneTrust has capability to send or not the final acknowledgment email with record of consent.Is there a way to send these emails from Klaviyo also for users added to Profiles via API? Greetings, We are seeing “Viewed Product” tracked in the activity log, complete with URL, ProductID, Name, and so on. However, when creating a segment to try to isolate users who have viewed a specific product, the segment returns null. I am able to find a user (or group of users) who fit the parameters in the activity feed, but the segment does not include them. Segment setup is super simple: Any ideas?
Hi everyone, how to build a segment that filter the contains in a product name (ItemNames)? I heard that the availability of the contains definition depends on the format of the data that is being shared to Klaviyo, so how to check if data format of ItemNames surely is list data or text data? I want to delete a profile and wipe all of its data completely, so that the profile can come back as a completely new customer.In the help docs, it says “When deleting, the profile’s event history as well as every recipient record associated with the profile will remain in Klaviyo.” Is there a way to delete all of those associated data?The reason I want to do this is we have customers who leave and then return, repetitively. When they return they need to re-trigger a Flow, and the only way to re-trigger it is by cloning the Flow. If they leave and return 20 times, we will end up with 20 clones of the Flow.
Hey alltogether,I want to have a segment thats fit the following conditions:repeated customer ordered defined product more then once several times in his lifetimeI struggle with 3.My segment contains customers who placed orders at least 2 times. And it includes the customers who ordered the defined product 2 or more times in one order. My Segment should only contain customers who ordered a defined product at least two times in different orders (can be same day but usually longer time span within the next order.)I think i miss something but i can’t get around it. Any help, hint, workaround would be appreciated.:)BR Frank
Using segmenting, is it possible to build a segment that works off filtering part of the product name or SKU? (where product name CONTAINS “foo”) or (product name STARTS WITH “foo”). I can only see a filter for EQUALS in the segment filtering? Alternatively wildcards would work -are they available?
Hi all,I have a very specific segment I need to create to track if a marketing campaign is running profitable or not.At my shop you can buy a free sample of the product to test it. Afterwards customers land in a flow to then upsell them the real product.I want to create two segment now to assess how successful that campaign is:One segment for customer who made purchase of 1 sample pack (the full order can only contain that one product)Another segment where chronologically I can see that they first ordered the sample pack and afterwards actually bought the whole product. (how can I make this segment?)Thanks!
The easiest way to accomplish this is to use the update profile property action functionality using a flow. To start, create a flow triggered by someone being added to each list in your account. Once you have created the flow trigger, add in an Updated Profile Property action. You can create a profile property called List Membership and then assign a value of the list name.For more information on how to do this, head to this article on the Update Profile Property action.Your next step is to back-populate the flow. Choose the second option to schedule emails relative to when I hit the back-populate button. As long as you only add the update profile property action to your flow, no messages will send out because your flow does not contain any emails or SMS. Hi all! On my webshop it is possible for customers to buy my product as a subscription. I work with Bold Subscription plug in to process these automatic orders. I want to be able to send email explicitly to subscribers or be able to exclude them sometimes from the buyers list, but till today I haven’t found a way how to make a segment/tag on how to separate subscribers from one time purchasers. I have reached out to Bold, Klaviyo and Shopify, but I was always told that this is a topic ‘the other party’ has to help me with… Has anyone experience setting up such a segment?
I'm trying to create a pop-up form that will only show to new customers - not existing subscribers. However, when I change the setting to "Don't show to vistors in certain list or segment" and set it to my main list or “don’t show to existing klaviyo profiles” - it still shows the pop up to the people on the main list. I'm testing by going on the website myself because my email is also on the main list. How can i fix this? The point of this is to create different pop ups for new subscribers and existing customers. Please help!
I’m currently using legacy forms and I’ve gone through this article https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005249588-How-to-Add-and-Customize-a-Legacy-Embedded-Signup-Form and added the correct class using the list ID as well as the hidden input with the list ID. However, the email is getting tracked in Klaviyo (it shows up under Profiles) so the form is submitting correctly, but doesn’t appear under the list. I’m really unsure of why this is happening. I want to create a segment, where the user Started a Checkout with Product X, but never purchased product X. I then can use this segment to market them on Facebook and Send strategic Emails to push them over the edge into purchasing the product. Can you tell me if this Segment definition is correct? In the example MKSensation Xtreme and MKSENSATIONX are the same product.
When I add my logo to the Subscriber and Preference Pages (for example, the Email Confirmation) my logo is always a little blurry.If I use a larger images so it’s higher resolution it just makes the actual logo much bigger on the Email Confirmation.Any idea how to make a logo crisp and sharp on these pages? Hi everyone, Neewbie question here so apologies in advance if this is a simple answer but I couldn’t find any definitive information!We currently have all customers to our website captured onto a list within Klaviyo which is integrated with Shopify. This has been working well and I have set up a few flows and campaigns with success that I have been pleased with. However, as our website specialises in both retail and wholesale, I would like to have all wholesale enquiries collated into their own list so that I can then create a segment based on their location. I do not need an integrated sign up form from Klaviyo. I just want to use the sign up form we currently have on Shopify and capture that email address into a separate list. Once i have this information, I then want to begin separate marketing campaigns by wholesale customer location from this separate list. What is the best way to achieve this? Thanks in advance!
Today I sent out two separate versions of essentially the same email to different segments.I have created an “employee” list where, as you can imagine, I keep all our employees emails so I can exclude them from certain communications as necessary.One version of the email was sent to our club members and employees.Another version was sent to our engaged audience, excluding everyone found in our club segment or employee list. But I received both versions of the email, despite my email address being in the employee list.I’m worried that my segments aren’t working correctly and that I’m spamming recipients with multiple versions of the same email, but I don’t know how that would be possible if they are part of an excluded segment.Has anyone else encountered this?
Hi folks, I’m trying to build a segment that catches profiles who have not opened and have not clicked on any email from a particular flow, however the flow is not available in the filter dropdown:I thought it may be because the flow is in manual mode, but there are several others not available that are live. Could someone please clarify why this might be the case? Thanks!
Hi, this may seem like a dumb question. I’m aware that I can only see the top 50 active profiles. I currently have 276 and I would like to know the best way to see this list. I know I can export it and then import it but this is a static list only based on the export. I’d like a way to see the latest list at any time. How could I do this please?
My company has a CRM in which we create a customer account for each individual person. However, some customers (e.g. a husband and wife) share the same email address. As a result, the CRM integration with Klaviyo currently overwrites the Klaviyo profile with whichever customer is getting updated. Furthermore, if we trigger an email, the current name on the profile is used in the personalized email message. For example, if the most recent Klaviyo profile update puts the husband’s name on the profile, but the wife subsequently books an appointment, an email is sent to their shared email address with the husband’s name and the wife’s appointment details. Is it possible to have two profiles with different IDs but the same email?
Contact Form 7 and Klaviyo - How do I tag subscribers that fill out a form to understand which form they came from?
Hello, I have recently migrated from Mailchimp and I use contact form 7 on wordpress. I was using Chimpmatic that allowed me to add tags so each subscriber who downloaded a piece of content would be added as a tag in Mailchimp. For example, if they downloaded an ebook for home and garden, they would be tagged as home and garden when downloading the form through Chimpmatic which would then show in Mailchimp. My question is how do I replicate this process in Klaviyo? Do I have to create a new list for each content download? Is it a segment? I have downloaded the integration Sitemap Pro for Klaviyo which only gives me the option for choosing a list for each contact form 7 in Wordpress. My concern is if each content download has to be an individual list, we are going to end up with lots of lists. Does anybody have a better way of showing the source of where of my subscribers are coming from? Cheers,Molly
