Hello,I've been having a really hard time figuring out why the emails gathered from my footer sign up form do not get into the "Newsletter" list and Welcome Email flow. I've already added this in to the form group and i see that the emails are getting tagged as "Newsletter". <input type="hidden" name="contact[tags]" value="newsletter">I also did the ff:- enabled single opt in- welcome flow email is live Did i miss something?
Hi folks, I’m very new to Klaviyo, and I’m trying to make things easier not harder. (I’m not sure how successful this is right now 🤦♀️)We have the usual pop ups and signs up set up to add to our newsletter list but in our Cellar Door shopfront we use the Vend software - So once a week I’ll be manually adding these subscribers to our list. (unless there is a magic integration i’m yet to find) As they have come direct from our cellar door I’d like to still do a welcome series but i’d like it to be different to the one that organic subscribers see (specifically because they wont be getting a discount) What’s the best way for me to upload these people and have a separate flow? Is it creating a separate list and then adding them to campaigns or should I segment somehow? It’s all bit overwhelming. Thanks
Hello,Currently, my client is using “Revenue Hunt” in his brand. So he has this form/test integrated in his website. After filling out the form, Revenue Hunt will then suggest 3 products that are fit to the liking/preferences of the person. We would like to incorporate these 3 suggested items in a flow. So, everytime the person fills out the form, he will enter our flow. First email of the flow will then contain these 3 suggested items. How do I do that? Is there a certain coding that I need to do? Also I made sure that his Shopify Account and Revenue Hunt account is integrated. Thank you in advance!
Hello,I’m creating a conversion funnel for Customers who have received free samples of our granola. The sample is a unique Shopify SKU, so adding new prospects to the Segment is straight-forward. However, I only want prospects to remain in this segment until they purchase a revenue generating product. Moving Customers from the “Samplers - Unconverted” Segment to “Samplers - Converted” Segment is easy, I just added an AND condition for having a Fulfilled Order Value greater than $0.00. However, I want the “Samplers - Unconverted” Segment to only contain Customers who have ordered the sample SKU, but have NOT ordered any other revenue generating SKU. I would then create a conversion flow triggered by someone joining the Unconverted Segment and they would leave that flow upon their first revenue generating order and move to the Converted Segment. Any ideas on how to best accomplish this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Roy
Hi - We are new to Klaviyo and are just setting it up, have integrated with our Magento store as well as Mailchimp. There are now 2 lists created in Klaviyo - one from Mailchimp and the other named as the default Newsletter which is syncing from Magento. However, Mailchimp has not been synced with our store for about a year so there may be issues with unsubscribed contacts not synced between the 3 platforms. We have been using Mailchimp to send newsletters without the store sync. This would make the Mailchimp list up to date with the contacts who have unsubscribed, but not our Magento store. We have some questions:How can we make sure we will not be contacting anyone who has opted out from any list?Should we merger the 2 lists to create a Master list? The default Newsletter list is much larger than the Mailchimp list - is there a reason for this?Should we delete all lists or the account and start again so we have a clean contact listThank you in advance.
I’m a new user and very confused about Unsubscribe/Preferences.Our customer Profiles are being populated via the API and not going onto a List. Campaigns and Flows will be targeted based on Segments. I’d like to create sophisticated manage preferences options someday but we are starting simple without that. As I understand it, that means I am stuck with the default Unsubscribe page, but I am seeing problems with that:That page contains, by default, both an UNSUBSCRIBE button and a link to UPDATE PREFERENCES. I can’t edit those. The Update Preferences link is extremely confusing if you don’t have any preferences that can be updated. I hope I’m missing something simple, here. HELP!
Hi everyone!I am new to the platform and our company have a list of approximately 30K contacts over years in business. We want to upgrade our plan and want to know if there is a tool to help filter out bad contacts before starting a campaign. We want to ensure deliverability and compliance as best as we could! I already emailed support and waiting for their response. Although if anyone has experience with we would appreciate your help! Thank you!
I’d like to be able to send CARE communications, which uses Legitimate Interest as opposed to consent, to my customers. In order to do so, I need to provide them with a way to unsubscribe from it (ideally in a separate way than Marketing). With previous CRM tool, I was able to have a CARE flag created for every orders and which was managed separately than the marketing flag. Is there a way to do this in Klaviyo?
Making a segment is incredibly tedious when not using something simple like a single product or category. I frequently need very niche segments (what Klaviyo is supposedly good at, right?) that drill down to very specific products. In this case, I'm making a segment of buyers of 12 different individual products. This should be simpler. SOLUTION: I should be able to add the OR at the NAME LEVEL in my example here not have to start over at the What someone has done level for each product. For each product, I'm having to select 1. what someone has done2. ordered product → 3. set dates4. where name → 5. equals → choose productWhy can't I simply add additional NAMES of products instead of starting over each time? Please adapt the segment creation tool to make it easier for those of us who want to use the complex segmentation of Klaviyo.ANOTHER SOLUTION: Give me a duplicate button so I can at least copy the last parameters and then adjust the one element I need to change.
Is there a way to create a Klaviyo mail flow for specific tagged accounts on Shopify that gets updated automatically? Eg: I want to create a mail flow for my VIP customers on Shopify. But I would like that list to get synced to Klaviyo and be updated automatically as new VIP customers get added.

Hi Everyone, By adding my email (as a test) onto my Shopify Theme Pop-up, my information is collected in the Shopify Customer tab. I am using Shopify’s Prestige Theme I have integrated Klaivyo to my Shopify account and set up a number of Flows to all new subscribers. However my email is not collected in Klaviyo under Profits or Lists/Segements and I do not get triggered with the Welcome email. Is there something I am doing wrong?

I have customers who have a number of Shopify tags from self selecting different brands that they like. I want to create a segment of those who are tagged with specific brands but cant see how to do it. Here’s an example - I want to segment customers tagged with Brand A and Brand B - however they may also have tags for Brand Y and Brand Z. I cant therefore us the option for “Shopify tags contains Brand A or Brand B” as they will also include those with tags for Brand Y and Brand Z. I cant use the does not contain Y and Z as that will exclude A and B. What are my options? Help!
Hi - I have a group of existing email customers from shopify that were added to klaviyo, but were not added to the “newsletter” list. I can see them in klaviyo and can see that they are marked as consented to marketing, but I can’t find a way to add them to the newsletter list. Any ideas? Thanks
Hi! I created a Newsletter flow and used a Segment I created as its trigger. I have over 5,000 subscribers from my mailing list on this Segment. The number also keeps on growing as some more conditions are met from people who are on our Shopify. However, of the 5,000 emails included on the Segment, only about 100 emails were delivered when I tested the first email on the flow. I was wondering why would that be? Would appreciate your suggestions and help as I am getting quite frustrated Thank you!
HI all,I have just realized that when ever users create a new account, their account are added to email subscribers in shopify automatically and klaviyo are not syncing those list at all?my pop up and newsletter feature both works with no problems.I tried syncing, but my email subscribers just get stuck there.Any idea>?
Dear Klaviyo Community,We have a custom site developed using Laravel & Vue.Our site works like a service reservation site wherein guest users are allowed to make transaction. But upon putting all the codes and following the contents from the API documents we are still getting issues on the above subject for guest users but if we try a transaction for a logged-in user the thing works. Are we missing something or is Klaviyo codes is designed for logged-in users only?We appreciate any response or help that may clarify the above subject.Thank you in advance.
Is it possible to create a segment of people that are currently within a flow? For example, if I wanted to send a campaign email but exclude anyone who is currently in my welcome flow, is that possible? I know that smart sending is the way to avoid multiple emails within a time period, but ideally I would be able to exclude people based on being in a flow or not.
I’m new to using Klaviyo and I’m trying to find the most efficient way to select customers who have opted-in and have not unsubscribe, none regarding where the data was collected. At the moment, we add every-single lists into a segment (there are a lot and it will only continue growing) and add the condition ‘is not suppressed from marketing’ which I feel is quite a hassle. Is there an attribute (existing or custom) which could be as simple as ‘Marketing Permission is True’ or ‘Opted-in to Marketing’ and which would be updated when someone is added to a list or unsubscribe from emails? Thanks
Hi,Created an embed and flyout form asking several questions - different grade levels and parent or teacher (Book Site). The signup forms indicate less than 200 used the form. However, when I segment out the various categories, I am getting large # of people within a category? Is the system using some kind of AI between Klaviyo and Shopify to create these numbers?Just looking for some kind of confirmation as to how I can have a category with 3000 in it, yet less than 200 signed up thru the formsThanks,Bernie
I’m trying to understand if I can create segments based on a specific product/category tenure. Here are the example: has purchased a bike in the last 3 months (none regarding whether or not they purchased something else) or has purchased a bike between 3 and 12 months. Ideally, I’d like to keep it at a collection level (Shopify integration) rather than having to go down the SKU route.
