Hi there. Using the Mailchimp integration, is there a way to import a list from Mailchimp into an existing Klaviyo list? I’m trying to maintain a single list, and don’t want to deal with merging a new list into our main list.I tried unchecking the “Create Klaviyo lists from Mailchimp lists” checkbox in integration settings, but doesn’t seem to work. Probably this feature was for intended for something else. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, –oo
Hi all,I want to do some affiliate marketing with Clickbank (CB) but I noticed that they have a suppression list consisting of 3000+ email domains that CB affiliates are not supposed to email to.I tried to upload this suppression list to Klaviyo as a list but since it is a list consisting of only domains and not email addresses, Klaviyo is unable to import the list.I reached out to their helpdesk but was told there’s only 2 ways:To create a segment and choose ‘Properties about someone’, ‘Email’ ‘doesn’t contain’ ‘@domain-name.com OR To export my email list to CSV, filter out the list of restricted email domains and upload it back to my Klaviyo as a separate list from my main list. The problem with method 1 is that I will have to do it 3000 times because CB has a list of 3000+ domains names on the suppression list. It will take me ages to do this. The problem with method 2 is that my main list is growing every day as I’m running a lead generation campaign. And if I use this
HI everyone, I cant figure out how to manage new emails not ending up where I want them to. Buyers of products ends up in profiles where I can not do anything with them, or can I? Created a list for new emails to drop in and a exit intent popup and noticed that some emails still ends up in profiles rather than the list… how can that be if the setting is made to push them to the list? How to transfer all emails from profiles to a list for further campaigns?Example:as you can see there should be 15 people in the list already but there are only 5 and all of them are buyers, not just those who entered email in popup. Thank You, I would really appreciate your help.
HiI am building a waiting list for a new campaign launch. To get the maximum of sign ups, I would like to send an email to all my database to give them an option to sign up to the waiting list. The desired flow here, is that when they receive the email to allow them to subscribe to the waiting list, they can simply click the button “Subscribe” from the email, and it will automatically add them to the list.Once they have been added to the waiting list, they get redirected to a “Thank You” page.Is this something possible?ThanksVincent
We recently added the sms option to our website signup form, and I would like to add the phone number field to the Subscribe page for that list. Currently I don’t see that as an option. The goal is to send social traffic strait to the Subscribe landing page url with the option to sign up for sms messaging. Any advice is appreciated!
I have mistakingly added a few profiles which shouldnt have been suppressed manually via a CSV, how do i undo this? I have added a new segment to identify these circa 7500 profiles however I am unable to find where I can upload this csv to “re-subscribe” these people.I have emailed supportm and await responseMany thanks
Hi,Our store has a product “A”, which is getting 1000+ of purchases a month, but they usually do not return. So out of our 500 products, we want to single out customers who purchase product “A” by itself and only once for targeted flows. Example:Person bought product A once and only that specific product in any quantity. We do not want to include people who purchased other products together with it. Is this possible? Thanks :-)
Hey guys, I recently installed the app and I am loving it! Just had a couple of setup questions that I need some assistance with if possible,I believe that I have successfully integrated Klaviyo with Shopify and have created a Subscriber List on Klaviyo which auto populates as soon as a customer subcribes via the Klaviyo created popup form or the standard Shopify footer subscription function.I am just experiencing some issues with regards to the below: I would like to know how I can arrange for any manually added customer profiles on my Shopify Customer List to be automatically added to my Klaviyo list. As I mentioned above, the sign up form submissions are working fine, but not any manually added profiles. How can I enable for the customer tags that I assign to Customers on Shopify to transfer onto the Tags I create on Klaviyo? Is there an automated way to integrate these? I would like to know how I can go about Klaviyo automatically adding customers to Lists/Segments such as VIP Cust
I have shopify with klaviyo integration. My template has newsletter subscription forms and I also use klaviyo popup. People can subscribe and they are added to a klaviyo list. No problem so far.The issue is, if someone unsubscribe, this creates a bunch of weird issues/conflicts:Inside klaviyo their profile will be marked as suppressed, however they still have the “accept marketing” status set to “true” … Why? … it feels extremely awkward to have a “accept marketing” set to true while also being unsubscribed/suppressed… This means, in shopify, this user still looks like a current subscriber. If a user unsubscribed and wants to subscribe again using a form from the shopify template, then the user will not be subscribed again, and there are no message being displayed telling the user the subscription failed… This is extremely bad. On the other hand, if the user uses the klaviyo popup to subscribe again then the subscription will work the “suppressed” status will be removed, thats good,
We recently switched platforms from Magento to Shopify, and at the same time we moved from MailChimp to Klaviyo. Now that we have the ability for customer account creation on Shopify, we’d like to email our newsletter list and incentivize them to create an account on our website. The ideal flow would be:Email customers that are in our newsletter list and have NOT signed up for an account on our website. Emailed customer goes to our website and creates an account. Email is triggered that gives them the sign-up incentive.I’m running into a couple of issues. The main one is that there doesn’t seem to be any property that sees if a Shopify account does/does not exist. It seems that this would need to exist for my follow-up email to be triggered - even if I were to manually tag customers with existing accounts to remove them from my segment, that wouldn’t solve how to trigger the follow-up.How would you solve this? Does it require creating a custom property via API or am I overthinking it?
I have integrated Shopify and Klaviyo but I have two problems: The Newsletter list is not updating from Shopify Launch Page to Klaviyo - I see them as Profiles but they are not in my Segments/Lists. I have already put in the code into my .liquid to enable Newsletter sign ups and automatic syncing. I am unable to set up a Welcome flow > I had set up a Welcome flow to say Hi to new subscribers but it did not sent to the test emails I had put into the specific Subscription list I used.I would really appreciate your help - I tried looking at the Help Centre but I think there is something I’ve missed. Edit: It seems like my Newsletter Subscribers (from my Shopify’s launch page) is being synced with Klaviyo. However, after try to set up my Welcome Series flow..it says my account is suspended for review. Did I do anything wrong that I need to fix?
Hi There!I want to clean my list, but I don’t know which one is the best approach.First, I have created a segment of the people that didn’t open any of my e-mails in the last 6 months, in which I put the tag “limbo”.Then, I created another segment with the same structure, but now within the last 45 days (with the same tag). For this segment, I created a flow to send two emails. If the person doesn’t open, I want to put a “Limbo” tag on her. If she opens any of them, I want her to remain active.I don’t want to “suppress” these profiles, because I want to try some re-engagement in the future. So, what is the best way to segment these “inactive” profiles?Should I just exclude the “people that didn’t open any email in the last 45 days” from my campaigns? If she opens any one of the two emails, Will she be removed from that list?Should I create a flow and if she doesn't open anything, I create a “property” Limbo? This will be a problem if the same person goes in this flow 2 times? (Like, cre
I'm looking to add a conditional split to one of my flows. Essentially, we are sending 4 emails over 1 month. After 30 days they hit the conditional split. I'm looking to have anyone who has opened one of those 4 emails continue on the flow and anyone who has NOT opened one of those 4 emails to be split onto a separate branch. However, when I go to make the trigger, it is just a generic "Opened Email at least once in the last 30 days". There is a filter option, but when I select it and go to choose my property it says there are no items on this list. I found this article on segments where it's mentioned that you can build segments off who opened a specific email. However, I don't know how to do this. https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005061447-Introduction-to-Segments-in-Klaviyo#what-is-a-segment-1 Can you help?
Hi!I’m very new to Klayvio and seem to have synced up the “Newsletter” list in Klayvio with my Shopify account successfully. However, I haven’t switched over from my current ESP yet. In prep, I imported a “suppression” list to Klayvio. I wanted to ensure this list will be kept current when contacts unsubscribe from today, so I “unsubscribed” in my current ESP to test the functionality in Klayvio. I am “not subscribed” in Shopify, but for some reason that hasn’t synced over to Klayvio and I’m still on the “newsletter” list and appear as “subscribed” in the user profile on Klayvio.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
I’m trying to understand if I can create segments based on a specific product/category tenure. Here are the example: has purchased a bike in the last 3 months (none regarding whether or not they purchased something else) or has purchased a bike between 3 and 12 months. Ideally, I’d like to keep it at a collection level (Shopify integration) rather than having to go down the SKU route.
Hi everyone!I’m currently experimenting for an upcoming Oktoberfest Sale that we’re going to have this weekend. What I wanted to achieve was to be able to pass multiple values to a single Profile property.I have product blocks that showcases our products where subscribers can vote to show their interest.Let’s say my property is Products Interested in for Oktoberfest Sale and it should be able to accept single/multiple values depending on the subscribers response like:Profile 1: Products Interested in for Oktoberfest Sale: CremeProfile 2: Products Interested in for Oktoberfest Sale: Creme, Shampoo, MaskI was able to achieve it by following this guide. However, I wanted to allow the profile property I’m updating to accept multiple values and not just one.I’ve tried it with the current setup and the data is just being overwritten to the most recent selection. Is what I’m trying to do achievable using links to update profile properties? If so, how do I do it? I can’t seem to find any resourc
Hello, I’ve just started setting up some of my flows, including my welcome flow. I send out mini campaigns every week, and would like to exclude anyone that’s in the welcome flow so they don’t get the campaign emails just yet. I know I can exclude certain segments from the campaign but how do I go about creating a segment of anyone that’s in the welcome flow? I couldn’t see an option for ‘Is in X flow’ within the segments builder, what’s the best (neatest/easiest!) way to do this? Thanks,Meeta
Hi, Curious if anyone has segmented profiles by color or size variants of products purchased? For example, we have a baby clothing brand. We want to track who purchases clothing in size 3 - 6 months so we can remarket 6 - 12 month clothing to them in another 3 months. I know I can segment by products, but can I segment profiles down by variants, like color and size?
Hi,I have successfully uploaded over 5 years of historical order data, which worked great, but I now realize there are some additional fields I should have included in the CSV files I uploaded. If I just re-upload all the same CSV files with the new columns of values included will this append the extra field values to the existing orders in Klaviyo, as it will have the same Order ID/Event ID in the second upload? Thanks in advance for any help or pointers.Shane
To avoid having to create one single welcome flow that contains content in all the languages we offer, we’ve decided to create a single list for each language.Yes, we are going to create e.g. a welcome flow for each language. We have a Custom Property set with the language they get determined by which Country they’ve signed up from.In our Manage Preferences List we’ve added a step where they can change their language from A to B. But this ofc. doesn’t move the subscriber from List A to List B. If we use the Subscribe-form they are only able to subscribe for the list they already belong to - as it’s a sign-up form for that specific list. = we can change the Custom Property, but not add/move the subscriber to the right list→ Do any of you have any suggestions on how we could work around this? We’re trying to avoid using Hosted Pages.
We have an integration between our platform (MentionMe) and Klaviyo and we’ve recently been seeing more and more 403 errors when calling the Get Profile endpoint (https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/reference/get-profile). Think we saw this first ones on 15 March, and last night we saw about 150 of these for various Klaviyo clients.I had a look at our logs and the response we’re getting from the API is the one bellow:[image removed]These seems to usually happen during the night. For example, last night we had errors between 06/04/2022 02:14:02 - 06/04/2022 04:08:31I’ve checked the Klaviyo status page but there is no incident reported there. Has anyone else seen something similar?
Hope someone can help :) I set up my email capture form via Klaviyo and have noticed that new email sign ups are not automatically added to my shopify customers list. For Omniture, anybody who submitted their email via an Omniture form would also be automatically added to my shopify customers list. Can anybody let me know how I can have both systems sync up now I’m using Klaviyo?
