Hi!I’m very new to Klayvio and seem to have synced up the “Newsletter” list in Klayvio with my Shopify account successfully. However, I haven’t switched over from my current ESP yet. In prep, I imported a “suppression” list to Klayvio. I wanted to ensure this list will be kept current when contacts unsubscribe from today, so I “unsubscribed” in my current ESP to test the functionality in Klayvio. I am “not subscribed” in Shopify, but for some reason that hasn’t synced over to Klayvio and I’m still on the “newsletter” list and appear as “subscribed” in the user profile on Klayvio.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
Hi Community,I’m struggling with custom Properties. Maybe it’s to obvious to find? Would be nice if someone can give me an idea.Situation: We use Shopify for 4 months and Klaviyo Integration since couple of days.I want Klaviyo to add the customers first purchase date as profile property enrichment. This works like a charm for contacts who placed orders after Klaviyo was integrated into shopify. I want to add that custom profile property to all Klaviyo profiles that we collected before the Klaviyo integration and here i’m stuck. I don’t know how to specify the contacts, nor how to get the date and write it to the profile.Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Maybe it’s the holidays or maybe you have a big product launch coming up! Either way, this is a use case where you’ll likely need to target multiple lists and segments with the same email. Klaviyo will not send the email more than once. Your campaign will know that is someone on more than one of the lists/segments included, and ensure that they only get the email one time! To include multiple lists or segments within the same campaign, use the Send to dropdown under the Recipients section of the campaign builder and select your audiences.Pro tip - you can search for your lists or segments by typing in their names or scroll through the dropdown until you find the ones you’re looking to target. Happy sending!
Hello :) What’s the solution to the below snippet in this article? There are a few situations which can cause someone to have Accepts Marketing set to false, but they're still subscribed to your newsletter:If a customer checks out and decides not to accept email marketing at that time, but later subscribes through a signup form, they'll still be added to your newsletter list. If a customer checks out and does accept email marketing, they'll be added to your newsletter list. If they check out again, they'll probably decide to not subscribe again since they're already subscribed. Depending on your checkout configuration, Shopify might see this as not accepting marketing (Accepts Marketing = false.) You probably don't want to treat this customer as an unsubscribe. Rather, you'll want to keep this customer on your newsletter list. How will you change the customers marketing consent to true? Surely the signup form will trigger marketing consent as true and take the most recent consent and
My client wants to create a list of people who want to opt out of our Mother’s Day promotions because 2020 was not a good year for aging parents. From this list they want to offer a separate sale the weekend of Mother’s Day. What I am not sure of is how to build the pop up or whatever to get people to put in their name and email without it becoming a nightmare. Should I do it as a preference connected to the list? If so, exactly how do I link to it in the mailer itself? Sorry if I sound dumb, I have spent two days trying to figure this out and I am perplexed.
Hello,I run a WooCommerce store that specializes in one-of-a-kind products. We have 100+ different product categories.I would like to do the following:Insert a Klaviyo signup form at the bottom of each WooCommerce product category page, and tell the customer “Sign up to get notified when we add new products to the is category”. When a customer uses this form, Klaviyo knows which product category page they expressed interest in. Each time we upload a batch of new products, have the ability to manually create a new campaign in Klaviyo and send it to the above customers that expressed interest in this product category. Give customers the ability to modify the categories that they want to be notified about via checkboxes on the Klaviyo manage preferences page. I’m unsure of the best way to accomplish this. I have two ideas: IDEA #1Create a custom profile property called ‘favorite categories’ Create a ‘generic’ custom signup form to insert on all the product category pages. Make sure to pas
Hi,I am new to Klaviyo so there maybe an obvious answer to this questions! I have the following scenrio:A page on my eCommerce site that I have a signup form on. I am offering a discount code in exchange for an add to the newsletter list. However I want this contact to be run through a different flow to my standard newsletter adds. I see that I can do this by adding the contact to a different list when the form is submitted, which triggers a different flow.I have two questions about this:I understand its not best practice to have multiple lists. If the solution is to have multiple lists, how can I move this contact from the current list, to my newsletter list once the flow has finished?Maybe my understand is incorrect here, any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks everyone
Hi there, I manage account for client and they have about 3k profiles in the list, Klaviyo shows 7k+ active profiles under Profiles tab which is more than 2x the number of actual profiles they have I do not want the client to pay fore more than they actually have, so any clarification would help Thanks
Hi,Created a flow to ask subscribers what type of movies they want to see for a new movie theater client. Flow works and it has collected data on 2 new subscribers. How can I get that data so it is easy to see? I can do a CSV export but it doesn’t do the 8 categories into individual columns so the data is very hard and time consuming to view?Tried to do it thru App - TypeForm but instructions aren’t clear? It implies I do it thru Klaviyo but then it goes into creating the forms in Typeform. No matter how I do this, I can’t get any data from that App or Klaviyo segments! This is basic data viewing - isn’t there some way within Klaviyo itself to just view that data?? Kinda in that business aren’t we!?Any help would be appreciated.Bernie
Hi there. Using the Mailchimp integration, is there a way to import a list from Mailchimp into an existing Klaviyo list? I’m trying to maintain a single list, and don’t want to deal with merging a new list into our main list.I tried unchecking the “Create Klaviyo lists from Mailchimp lists” checkbox in integration settings, but doesn’t seem to work. Probably this feature was for intended for something else. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, –oo
HiI am sure this is simple but can’t figure out how to do it. I am building a waiting list for a new product and at the end of the launch phase I will send a closing email. In this email I want to have a button offering users to opportunity to sign up to my normal newsletter list, when they click on it they will be automatically moved to this list ready to trigger additional flows How would i do this?ThanksAndy
Hi, Curious if anyone has segmented profiles by color or size variants of products purchased? For example, we have a baby clothing brand. We want to track who purchases clothing in size 3 - 6 months so we can remarket 6 - 12 month clothing to them in another 3 months. I know I can segment by products, but can I segment profiles down by variants, like color and size?
Hi,my Shopify integration works correctly - when someone signups through a form, they receive a double-optin email from Klaviyo and after approving, they’re added into a list and Consent in their profile is green checked. However, when someone signups through the Shopify Checkout (they check the box under the email), this happens:Their Klaviyo profile has Accepts Marketing = true, as it should (this is Shopify’s property). They will receive a separate double opt-in email from Klaviyo, because my integration is set to “Collect email subscribers” from Shopify and move them into my list in Klaviyo. That list triggers a separate double opt-in email by Klaviyo, which is intended. However, even after accepting the double opt-in email from Klaviyo, their Consent is still not set. I would expect, since they receive a separate double opt-in email from Klaviyo, that their Consent would be a green checkmark as well.Am I missing something, please? My intention was to create a separate segment of pe
I think I found a major bug with the Product Feeds and the Shopify integration. For the life of me, I’ve been trying to figure out why the product feeds were only showing a few products and not displaying the correct best sellers. Well after some testing and experimenting, I think Klaviyo only displays products in the product fee that have a Track Quantity checked (See attached). My store is primarily a virtual good store where I sell digital downloads, so the only product showing are products where I deliver a serial number via a list, which I do track inventory in this case. I’m new to Klaviyo and although I love the new features, as an engineer, I’ve found quite a few major bugs with this software that I wasn’t expecting given the high price I pay per month. Can anyone verify this?
I'm looking to add a conditional split to one of my flows. Essentially, we are sending 4 emails over 1 month. After 30 days they hit the conditional split. I'm looking to have anyone who has opened one of those 4 emails continue on the flow and anyone who has NOT opened one of those 4 emails to be split onto a separate branch. However, when I go to make the trigger, it is just a generic "Opened Email at least once in the last 30 days". There is a filter option, but when I select it and go to choose my property it says there are no items on this list. I found this article on segments where it's mentioned that you can build segments off who opened a specific email. However, I don't know how to do this. https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005061447-Introduction-to-Segments-in-Klaviyo#what-is-a-segment-1 Can you help?
We recently switched platforms from Magento to Shopify, and at the same time we moved from MailChimp to Klaviyo. Now that we have the ability for customer account creation on Shopify, we’d like to email our newsletter list and incentivize them to create an account on our website. The ideal flow would be:Email customers that are in our newsletter list and have NOT signed up for an account on our website. Emailed customer goes to our website and creates an account. Email is triggered that gives them the sign-up incentive.I’m running into a couple of issues. The main one is that there doesn’t seem to be any property that sees if a Shopify account does/does not exist. It seems that this would need to exist for my follow-up email to be triggered - even if I were to manually tag customers with existing accounts to remove them from my segment, that wouldn’t solve how to trigger the follow-up.How would you solve this? Does it require creating a custom property via API or am I overthinking it?
Hello, I have a lot of customers complaining that they are landing on a 404 page of Klaviyo when being directed to my sign-up form. They are being directed from the Instagram sticker link directly to my Klaviyo form, and are seeing attached error message:“sorry, that page isn’t actually here.”I did get +200 submits yesterday, so for some it is showing (including myself). How can I solve this, cause this is not a good customer experience and making me loose customers :( Thank you!Annelore
Hey guys, I recently installed the app and I am loving it! Just had a couple of setup questions that I need some assistance with if possible,I believe that I have successfully integrated Klaviyo with Shopify and have created a Subscriber List on Klaviyo which auto populates as soon as a customer subcribes via the Klaviyo created popup form or the standard Shopify footer subscription function.I am just experiencing some issues with regards to the below: I would like to know how I can arrange for any manually added customer profiles on my Shopify Customer List to be automatically added to my Klaviyo list. As I mentioned above, the sign up form submissions are working fine, but not any manually added profiles. How can I enable for the customer tags that I assign to Customers on Shopify to transfer onto the Tags I create on Klaviyo? Is there an automated way to integrate these? I would like to know how I can go about Klaviyo automatically adding customers to Lists/Segments such as VIP Cust
We recently added the sms option to our website signup form, and I would like to add the phone number field to the Subscribe page for that list. Currently I don’t see that as an option. The goal is to send social traffic strait to the Subscribe landing page url with the option to sign up for sms messaging. Any advice is appreciated!
