Multi-Metric Custom Reports for Flows

I have a multi-metric report for checkout started value and placed order value filtered by flows in a month’s range. I am seeing a big decrease from checkout started value and placed order value. For example, the welcome series reports $25.4K checkout started, but $6.5k in placed order. Does this mean customers added $25.4K worth of items to cart AND started checkout BUT didn’t place their orders? Within this report we have an abandoned checkout flow that also reports a higher started checkout value (much less than $25.4K) than the placed order value. Are these directly impacting each other? Does this mean we’re losing our customers within the welcome series somehow? I just want to be sure I’m reading these reports correctly.

form on our website is not displaying a “subscribe” button

Hi, For some reason the embedded sign-up form on our website is not displaying a “subscribe” button, but on the mobile version. Everything is working ok on the desktop version. The button is marked as “shown on all devices.”Any help is appreciated as this is super urgent.Thanks!

End Recipient Data Acknowledgement Form - Shopify Ap

Help with scenario that is not working as expected

I have a form on my website allowing users to share their email address to be emailed a free guide.To do this I am using make.com and I have set up a webhook in the form allowing the email address to be passed into the scenario. I can confirm that part is working fine.The problem I am facing is that if a users email address (mine for example) already exists it can’t create a new profile, which I understand. To combat this, I added a ‘List profiles’ step to pull all users, then a router so that if the email address already exists, add them to the list so that they get the email from a flow in Klaviyo, or alternatively create them a profile. I can’t seem to get the filter “if already exists’ correct.Has anyone had a situation like this before? I feel this is a really straight forward task that is proving a nightmare. It’s worth noting, if there is any easier way to do this, please do share as I would rather do this right than make my method work if it isn’t best practice. Any help would

Should an email campgain be resent to the entire list?

A division of my company would like to resend an email to the entire list that received it two weeks ago. Is there any potential fallout from this, as far as inbox providers and spam? Would it help to tweak the title and messaging, even if the bulk of the email itself remains the same?

Shopify tags

I have the following flow:  And it is working because this is how it looks in one of the customer profiles:  The problem is it not reflecting in tags in Shopify. I have read the guide about syncing and everything is setup correctly, the only thing when I select properites in custom properties, I don’t find “Shopify tags”. Is this even possible?

elevated 403 forbidden errors in the API

Hello,we are seeing in the last couple of hours sporadic errors coming from klaviyo get events API, mostly returning 403 status codes. it’s sometimes works, and sometimes returns 403 error... we couldn’t find anything in the status page but wanted to check if there’s anything we can do about it ?for what it’s worth we’re using the python sdk version 2.0.0any help would be appreciated

Klaviyo Not Integrating with Wix

Hi - I am a new potential user of Klaviyo. I have a Wix site that is premium and has a live domain (so no issues there). I followed the appropriate steps to connect the two… added Klaviyo to my Wix site, and agreed to user permissions etc.  Where I am getting stuck is that when it brings me back to Klaviyo on the page where I am supposed to “Connect to Wix” it is saying “(314) An error occurred while creating your integration.”I have tried reaching out to Klaviyo and Wix support- no one has gotten back to me. Honestly, this is a BAD start to my interest in with  Klaviyo for my fast-growing startup. :(

Fetching All Recipients of a Campaign Using the V2 Endpoints

Hello, In the Klaviyo V1 api we could fetch all the recipients for a given campaign using the following api: GET/api/v1/campaign/{campaign_id}/recipientsThere does not seem to be an equivalent in the v2 endpoints. Looking at the comparison chart here: https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/docs/apis_comparison_chartIt suggests to use the following:GET/api/campaigns/GET/api/segments/{segment_id}/profiles/GET/api/lists/{list_id}/profiles/This doesn’t seem to allow us to recreate the same behavior as we could in V1. The campaigns endpoint returns a list of all campaigns. The segment endpoint gives you a list of all the profiles in a segment. And the list endpoint gives you all the profiles in a list.  A campaign isn’t necessarily associated with a list or segment as far as I can tell, and even so, just because a profile is an active member of a segment or a list, doesn’t mean that they received the email/sms from a campaign and it does not tell us the status.Am I misunderstanding the hierarchy

Automatic selection of A/B test winner on flows

Hi,I’ve had an A/B test running on a flow and I was under the impression that the test would end automatically once statistical significance was reached, which according to this article is defined as:At least 500 recipients have received each variation. A variation has at least 90% win probability.As far as I can tell, this test (pictured below) satisfied both criteria, but it still says it’s not statistically significant. In the end I just manually chose the winner, but could someone explain why this wasn’t classed as statistically significant?

Add new top-of-funnel subscribers to general list or special ToF list?

Hi - Looking for advice about the best way to handle a top-of-funnel lead magnet please and thank you. I'm creating a top-of-funnel email marketing flow. It will kick off with a visitor submitting an embedded form on a specific landing page. We get their email address and send an email with a link to a PDF download. They'll get a few more emails over several days aimed at introducing and explaining a product they've expressed interest in. I have a general subscriber list in my Shopify site and send email to it weekly. But I'm thinking it's better to separate the email addresses I collect thru this ToF form into a separate list. Is this correct? Or is it better to create a ToF segment in my general subscriber list and send this particular flow only to the ToF folks - and then switch them all to be general subscribers once the flow is completed?We have a discount teaser running on our site that subscribes people to our general list. I can imagine that a ToF subscriber might subscribe to

Calculating a future date using an Event Trigger Date

Hi everyoneStill learning my ropes around Klaviyo and the dynamic variables. I found an article that allows you to calculate a future date using the “today” syntax, however does anyone know if it’s possible to calculate a future date using an event trigger property? I assumed that by adding the ‘days_later:XX’ filter, this would have made this possible, but it’s throwing an error. Variable Code: {{ event.Invoice_Date|days_later:90|format_date_string|date:'d F o'|default:'' }}Scenario: Wanted to communicate to customers payment due dates based on their order invoice date. Any suggestions and guidance would be highly appreciated!

How to avoid duplicated 'Subscribed to Email Marketing' events

I have a service that executes daily to sync all customers to Klaviyo via the Create or Update Profile API v2024-02-15. Each customer has an ID (to be used as external_id) and an Email, which can serve as identifiers in the Klaviyo system.The issue arises because I'm unaware of which customers are already synced and subscribed to marketing emails. Therefore, after sending the customer information via the aforementioned API, I also send another request to subscribe the customer's email for marketing purposes using the Subscribe Profiles API. However, this leads to the creation of duplicated events for 'Subscribed to email marketing' within the customer profiles.My question is: How can I avoid the creation of duplicated 'Subscribed to email marketing' events when the email is already subscribed? Alternatively, is there a way to check if a profile is already subscribed to marketing emails?Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Hey! Ive been doing some digging. If i have a custom software with products and i want to trigger add to cart and browse abandon flows. Will I need to:1. Initialize klaviyo on the client? Wordpress embed not work on pages

I’m new to Klaviyo but not to Wordpress. I was able to add the code to my site, got the pop up working and was able to embed a form on a blog post a few weeks ago.Right now I’m stuck because I’m trying to set up a page with a sign up form. I want to create a QR code that will take people to this page on my website to sign up. But for some reason the embed form isn’t showing when I view the page.I made sure the form was set to everyone, even tried viewing incognito but it’s just not showing. I went back to the blog post I did a few weeks ago that I was able to embed and made sure I was using the same widget. I even made a clone of that sign up form so that I would know it’s all exactly the same. But it won’t show on the page.What am I missing?

Event migration to new API

We have an event that is not linked to profiles, but rather is transactional, can be sent to any email, even if it is not a profile in the system. Shopify product description shows with HTML tags

Hi guys, I am setting up a back in stock flow and was wondering how I could add the product description. I am using the following code, which pulls the description dynamically from the catalogue.{% catalog event.VariantId integration='shopify' %}{{ catalog_item.description }}{% endcatalog %}However, the description includes HTML tags (see Screenshot). What do I have to do, to remove them? ThanksHendrik
