We’re looking to do a ‘spin-to-win’ promotion to collect new emails, but Klaviyo’s native pop-ups can’t decline existing profiles, and the couple of external tools we’ve tried through Shopify don’t validate against existing users in Klaviyo either,

New AI Subject Line Analysis

Hey friends! I recently discovered this fun improvement to the AI subject line tool in Klaviyo. Did you know you can now look at the “analyze” tab and see your top performing subject lines from the last 90 days? This was implemented as part of product feedback that myself and the other Community Champions shared in December. Klaviyo’s product team really does listen to feedback, and they have a big exciting roadmap for improvements to come in 2024! Has anyone tried this AI feature lately?

DEMARC help!! Urgent!

My emails aren’t getting through to Verizon users because of DEMARC, can someone help? First screenshot is the gmail postmaster, 2nd is our Shopify TXT records, and 3rd is from Klaviyo. Thanks in advance (FYI Im not technical so I censored some stuff, no idea if it’s sensitive or not, but did it just in case).Thanks!

how to limit our campaign to be sent to specific number of the users?I want to run an email campaign to announce our new chocolate bar product. Emails are being sent to a list of our past paying customers. Will Klaviyo allow trigger splits for event properties that are also profile properties?

Hi all,There’s a limitation in Klaviyo where any event property that is also used as a profile property cannot be used in a trigger split. The property just doesn’t show up in the dropdown.In my opinion, this is a product limitation that needs to be fixed. Is there any plan to fix this? Thank you,Kevin.

Event migration to new API

We have an event that is not linked to profiles, but rather is transactional, can be sent to any email, even if it is not a profile in the system. Shopify Add to cart snippet stopped working/sending info

On 4/2 I installed the Klaviyo code snippet onto my Shopify store (Dawn theme). Snippet 2 accroding to their install guide is the one that worked for me. I tested and it seemed to work fine. But Shopify hasn’t sent any add to cart info to Klaviyo since my original test. I’m hoping someone knows why.I am using a bundle app called Fast Bundle and it was installed when I originally set up and tested the snippet.I have also unistalled and reinstalled the Shopify integration through Klaviyo to no avail. Can someone help me get this working?

Woocommerce checkbox issue on mobile

Hello,I have an issue with my Klaviyo checkbox on the checkout page. On mobile, the text is under the checkbox. On desktop, it’s better but the text is a little bit above the checkbox.I would just like to get the text aligned with the checkbox. Anyone has a solution?Thank you

Embedded form submission DOES NOT equal people in segment?

Could use some help here…We are running a giveaway on our Shopify site. I am using a Klaviyo embedded form to capture emails addresses. Those who sign up are being placed on a list. No problems… until now.In Klaviyo, my form is saying it’s been submitted 3,300 times. BUT… my list (that is only fed from this form) has 8,000 names on it. Any ideas why I’m seeing about 1/3 the number of form submissions than I’m seeing on the list? I do have single opt-in on for this one, so I may need to revert to double opt-in if someone has figured out a way to make the list grow so quickly.Thanks for any advice!

If/then logic working for desktop preview but not mobile

Hi everyone! One of the brands that I partner with includes assorted gifts and add-ons with every purchase. HTML Tags in Templates via Event Properties

We are new users… We are passing content to Klavio via Event Properties and using that content in our message templates. This is working well, except that some of our Event Properties contain HTML Tags.Is there a way to direct the Klavio template to process those tags instead of simply displaying them? This is just one simple example:

How to avoid duplicated 'Subscribed to Email Marketing' events

I have a service that executes daily to sync all customers to Klaviyo via the Create or Update Profile API v2024-02-15. Each customer has an ID (to be used as external_id) and an Email, which can serve as identifiers in the Klaviyo system.The issue arises because I'm unaware of which customers are already synced and subscribed to marketing emails. Therefore, after sending the customer information via the aforementioned API, I also send another request to subscribe the customer's email for marketing purposes using the Subscribe Profiles API. However, this leads to the creation of duplicated events for 'Subscribed to email marketing' within the customer profiles.My question is: How can I avoid the creation of duplicated 'Subscribed to email marketing' events when the email is already subscribed? Alternatively, is there a way to check if a profile is already subscribed to marketing emails?Thank you in advance for your assistance!

personalization for branches

I have a company with about 50 branches. Which customers belongs to which branch is saved as a data field.  Now I want to send emails that seem to come directly from the branch, with indiviual headers, footers, imprint, google maps etc. Of course I can just do 50 blocks and attach each block to a target group. But this would mean my email consists of 50 blocks (even more, it would be 50 different header bklocks, 50 footer etc.). I am sure there is a way to have ONE block and take the rest of the information from a database. Any idea how this works or how to get additional information? Thanks Stef

Birthday property date formatting

Hi,We have migrated our contact list from another ESP to Klaviyo. We have included a custom property Birthday and mapped it as a “date” format.Currently I’m seeing this in our account:- Imported contacts include date written asBefore migrating we have formatted Birthday dates as MM/DD/YYYY as seen below.Our pop-up form collecting birthdays is using the same profile property “Birthday” and date data type formatted as MM/DD/YYYY.We wish to know if this is a common and correct way for our data to be displayed on a profile or do we have to re-import our Birthday data field from the primary exported list and change formatting in the mentioned corresponding pop-up and preferences page setup?I would also like to clarify why the source property in imported contacts is set as “-6”?If we do have to re-import Birthday data to the account, will it automatically update only the existing Birthday property assigned to a specific e-mail?Thank you,

Hey! I'm looking to integrate a referral code in my post-purchase email flow. Where customers can give 10$ to a friend and when the friend makes a purchase with this code, the customer also receives a 10$ discount. Dashboard says we're DMARC compliant but still getting Klaviyo warning emails.

I’ve chatted with klaviyou support 3 times and each time they say we are DMARC compliant and our dashboard shows that the steps are completed.We can’t understand (and neither can Klaviyou support) why we are still getting the warning notifications from Klaviyo each week!! This has been going on for months.   The only answer we are getting is “ignore the Klaviyou warning notifications.  we are sending from our domain, we’ve update our domain DNS records, and we’ve been sending from our branded domain through Klaviyou for years!!!!!!!!!

Uploaded Images are all blurry

For some reason, every image I upload today through Klaviyo turns up very blurry. I have been using the same exported image settings for a few months with no issue, then all of a sudden today none of them look correct!

Personalisation and Dr, Mr etc

How do I prevent a person’s title - eg Mr or Dr, etc - appearing in a personalisation field? Eg, if somebody has their name as Dr Shirley Smith, adding a first name personalisation would end up with ‘Hello Dr’ instead of ‘Hello Shirley’.
