Your best examples for the perfect analytics dashboard?

Hey people!I’ve seen a lot of good content here in Klaviyo’s community forum, but what I had issue finding was - examples of your reporting routine. Had invested like 20 minutes in this guide from Klaviyo, I’ve managed to make a decent looking dashboard whereas it shows me the open rates, click rates, unsub rates, spam rates in the past 30 days (seeing the difference on a daily basis). And a few targeted dashboards for my flows. Here’s a picture so that you can make sense of it all: But I believe that I haven’t even scratched the surface. Do you have any helpful examples or something that I could add (or filter)?Any advice would be very warmly welcomed!Thanks

Conditional Split for Abandoned Cart Flow of High Value vs Low Value not working

Hello all,I made this Abandoned Cart flow a while back to the specifications that Klaviyo mentions, as well as fixing a little bug of the $value needing to be Price instead to register the items.The issue I’m seeing now is that the overwhelming majority are going into the trigger split “PriceAmount is less than 59.94”, aka The Low Value Cart. It’s over 99%, which seems incorrect. However, a few have gone into the High Value Cart, so I know it must be working in part. What could be causing this huge shift? I have screenshots to show.Here are the trigger filters, based on recommendations to separate our Abandoned Checkout flow as well so they aren’t getting double.Here you can see the percentages.One theory I have is that people might be triggering with Low Value initially, come back before the 1 Hour Time condition is up and add more to equal higher value, but it’s actually triggering the additions as a new low value. Is that possible? If that’s the case, is there a way to fix that?What

product feed that leaves out products people have aged out of

Hi, I’m a complete newbie with Klaviyo and am hoping for suggestions.We sell items to pregnant people and new parents. I’d like to show customers a “you may also like” dynamic product block that only includes products that are relevant for the stage they are at (pregnant, have a newborn 0-3 months, have a baby between 3 months to 1 year old, have a toddler, etc). For example if they have already had their baby they should not see childbirth prep classes. We have set up a  “Birth Date” custom profile attribute where we collect a date that is either their due date or the baby’s birth date.I was thinking I would use a combination of display logic and product feeds that would include only relevant collections to make sure they only see relevant items but I can not figure out the logic that would work for it. Any ideas?  To note we do not have a birth date for everyone so we will also need a block option that is more general and apply to almost everyone. THANKS!

Is there a way to automatically suppress Sunset recipients who didn't engage?

I set up a flow to remove thousands of unengaged profiles so my client wouldn’t have to include them in billing.But chose the wrong rule at the end of the flow, so it hasn’t actually suppressed them...It was the closest option to “suppress” I could find, and of course I presumed that Klaviyo, the leading ESP, wouldn’t encourage me to do a Sunset flow to clean my list without mentioning that for the “automation” to work, there would be parts of it that were NOT automated and must be done manually.Went to ask the community how to make it automatically suppress and only then learned from 2 posts  that such an option doesn’t exist.Let me check the date… yep, it’s 2024.Have I missed something??? Is there truly no automation that unsubscribes contacts without my participation??And is there a way I can find the contacts who’ve already passed through so I can turn them into a list and suppress them?Posts I reference:Apologies if this post reads as frustrated and cynical. Editing a Flow whilst live, or clone and rebuild then switch?

HelloI’m planning to make some significant changes to a post purchase flow that I currently have live which will take some time to do.  Am I best cloning the existing / starting from scratch, or can I just set the existing one to Manual mode, make all the changes then update status to Live again?Appreciate any advice!  Thank you :-)

Campaign Performance Report

Hi, We have been struggling to get the appropriate data using the new version of the API. The reason for this is because the results from the dashboard do not match the ones from the API. So, the question is how to create an exact match of the Campagin Performance Report using the API service? We believe that if we are able to figure this out, we should be able to replicate the other reports too. Klaviyo V1/V2 API Retirement

Hi, hope everyone is doing fine! I went through all the migration resources provided by Klaviyo. The one thing that isn’t still clear to me, that where we can find the code to update in Shopify? For example, I have a  “/track” legacy API now I want to update it with new version, where I can find the code to update this? And how to do it because the migration resources are not much clearer. Fallback fonts not changing

Hi There! Im having trouble setting up my fallback fonts, originally I set them to be Century Gothic, but after seeing this font doesn’t render in Gmail Mobile, I changed them to Helvetica and Arial Black as you can see in the images below.However, the first fallback font I set up (Century Gothic) is the one I keep getting in Gmail desktop, and in Gmail mobile I’m getting a completely random one (see images below). The new ones I set up won’t render.Anyone knows how to fix this?Gmail desktop (I’m getting Century gothic)Gmail mobile (Im getting what I believe is Lucida)

Double Opt-In setup

Hi Klaviers, My ecommerce website is based on shopify and currently the emails are being triggered from Hubspot. Objective: I want to setup the double opt-in email first in Klaviyo.  Is the double opt-in email gets auto triggered ? I could see default opt-in email & success page. Or Do I need to setup from the flows ? Double opt-in is enabled for the Newsletter list.Does that mean that the list has the audience only with double opt-in ?  Is the double opt-in emails are being triggered ?  Little confused here. Stripe subscriptions to create dynamic segment

Hi there,We have created a form in Jotform that is integrated with our Stripe. The payments are pulling through to Klaviyo as ‘issued invoice’, ‘successfully paid’ and the customer is a paying subscriber.How do we tag this customer as a subscriber that can move in and out of our active customer segment?We are using Zapier to send events between Jotform/Klaviyo and can also use for Stripe but I can’t seem to find the answer online.Thanks

Review quote not showing anything

Hi, i have been trying to add a review quote on my email but no reviews show up.I have removed all filters, my reviews are not recent and i have more than 20.. It just shows “no result found” even when selecting the product specifically or all products.  What could this be ?

Adding a Dynamic code to a CTA Button in a Flow.

We are building a flow - “ email sales campaign”  we want to offer a discount for 4 of our products.  -  We have created a dynamic coupon code with a variable expiration date.   We can paste this into the email so the prospect can manually enter it at checkout.   BUT can we add the discount code to a CTA button so that when the prospect clicks the button, they are taken to the shop so they can select one of the four items that the discount applies to, and when they proceed to checkout, the discount is applied?    Or is this a bridge too far.

Will Klaviyo allow trigger splits for event properties that are also profile properties?

Hi all,There’s a limitation in Klaviyo where any event property that is also used as a profile property cannot be used in a trigger split. The property just doesn’t show up in the dropdown.In my opinion, this is a product limitation that needs to be fixed. Is there any plan to fix this? Thank you,Kevin.

SMS Not Delivering

Hello, we recently set up our SMS campaign but no text messages have been delivered since starting it. So far it lists that 58 were “skipped”. Some of these we understand like no consent, failed trigger or invalid number but the majority of them say “Missing Number”.  We tried to test this out with a few employees of ours and we put our numbers in and initiated the flow but we did not receive the SMS message. We received the emails that we are expected to receive but for some reason we have not had a single SMS message deliver to anyone. Any idea what’s going on and what we can do? Sudden Increase in Email Campaign Bounce Rates?

I have noticed that recently my bounce rates have increased significantly from where they were previously. It seems as if the majoriy of them are coming from the Comcast.net domain. I have also seen hotmail/outlook/office365 and the second highest that much less than Comcast and some from something called “Proofpoint”. I’m not doing any differently with my email acquisition with emails subscribtions coming from people who actually touch my site and I’m using the same segments to exclude email addresses who havent engaged with any emails after a period of time.I’m wondering if this could be do to a setting possibly from when I setup the new branded sender domain or if there is something else I may need to look into. I’m getting a litte concerned because though the rest of my deliverability metrics seems to be favorable this one clearly needs to be addressed.Any advice on how to properly troubleshoot or correct this b/c I’m getting worried. Issue on Flows?

Will the double opt-in email be sent to all contacts when we back populate a flow?here’s what happened.I created a new pop-up form and contacts go to a new list, a new welcome flow (3 emails) triggered by contacts going to the new list.I turned on the form, and email #1 of my welcome flow. the list has double opt-in.I tested by signing up to the new pop-up, expecting to receive the double opt-in email and welcome email #1 which is LIVE. I received the double opt-in email but after few minutes, I did not receive welcome email 1.  What happened was, I added old contacts (back populate), and the horror happened - a lot of existing profiles received a double opt-in email.I already turned off the pop-up, and welcome email #1, but the existing contacts still received the double opt-in email.Is that normal? Did I make a mistake in doing the back-populate?  Was that supposed to happen?All the while I thought the existing contacts will not receive anything since my welcome flow trigger was “whe

A/B Test Post-Purchase Flow in Shopify

I have created a post-purchase flow in Klaviyo with three emails, which include: Order confirmation  While you wait  Reminder to get started to use product For each email I am A/B testing. I want to understand the following: How do I integrate this flow and A/B testing into Shopify? From what I have read the only option right now is to copy/paste the HTML for the email template from Klaviyo to Shopify but this means there is no A/B testing available for the order conf? If I want to A/B test is my only option to use a standard order confirmation (no A/B test) and then have the remaining triggered in Klaviyo for the user to receive (this I can A/B test)?Any suggestions or input would be helpful thank you!

Flow Filter not working - Person that purchased is getting emails for non purchasers

I recently set up a new coupon welcome flow that has a conditional split at the beginning. People that HAVEN'T purchased get a coupon code and some emails to drive the purchase. People that have purchased get a standard welcome email. However, someone that DID make a purchase after entering the flow is continuing to get the welcome flow. What is wrong with my setup that it isn’t removing people when they purchase mid flow? I was under the impressions these filters only need to be applied once and people will be removed when they meet the condition later.  Troubleshooting notes:I verified that the user used the same email to purchase and enter the listusers purchased at 2:53pm and received the next email in the flow at 6:56pm so there was plenty of time for them to be removed from the flow

Please Add Support For Value-Based Meta Custom Audiences

Meta (formerly Facebook) has supported and recommended ‘Value-Based Customer Lists’ since 2017. It has been best practice for advertisers ever since, yet Klaviyo still does not support them. Where this was once a ‘new feature’ that Klaviyo doesn’t support - it has gradually matured into being a glaring omission of the Klaviyo x Meta integration. Put simply, this feature enables audience uploads to feature a ‘Lifetime Value’ column for each customer - so that Meta can create lookalikes weighted towards your most loyal/valuable customers; rather than finding lookalikes of low-value customers, which results in you finding more prospective low-value customers. Klaviyo has data available to support the ‘value’ column in their Meta audience uploads, but this feature requires their attention and some prioritisation in order to deliver the baseline feature support that empowers the Custom Audiences they create. Here is some additional documentation: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/10330

Inserting Past Profiles into a dynamic Flow.

Issue.  We had our ad agency change the wording of one of our items in Shopify without informing us, resulting in a flow trigger not firing and 53 of our prospects not entering a sales flow.I am trying to figure out how to get these past profiles into that flow.I have created a segment with the 53 profiles in it. Then I cloned the flow and attempted to have that segment go into the top of the flow, but for the life of me, I can't find a way/ trigger to initiate that action.Any advice welcome

If I include multiple segments for a campaign, say my 30-60-90-120 engage for a broader audience cuz is a sale , is there a risk of emailing them twice 3 times?

Emails stuck in waiting for Review flow

Hi, I’ve been using Klaviyo for my emails since December, now I would like to try Reviews, but the default setting allows me to send review requests only to people who have purchased in the last 30 days, so I was able to import them by using Add past profiles, but they seem to be stuck in waiting. Created a new flow just for older profiles and the same thing, they are stuck in waiting for days now. Any suggestions on how could I move them forward? Thank you!
