Bounce rate increasing exponentially?

Hello,We’ve implemented a dedicated domain and a dedicated ip address, and we’re having a wild amount of email bounces for engaged customers — below you can find the bounce specifics:Klaviyo bounce category: Invalid Sending Address$bounce_delivery_info:action_id:add_exclusion: true code: 4.1.8ip: 168.245.121.105is autoresponder: false reason: 450 4.1.8 <bounces+22054145-9bed-[email]=[recipient domain]@wine.sommselect.com>:Sender address rejected: Domain not foundtype: blocked Any/all help and suggestions on how to remedy this would be greatly appreciated, we’re at a loss at the moment!

Add to Cart metric is not working !!

Klaviyo open rate low compared to previous ESP

We recently migrated to Klaviyo as our Email Service Platform, and I've encountered a puzzling issue with our open rates. Despite replicating our mail campaigns from the previous platform, we're experiencing a significant drop in open rates within Klaviyo. Even campaigns with identical content and audience show remarkable differences.To provide some context, we're in the process of establishing a new Klaviyo account and are gradually building our sending reputation. We've been starting with small-sized audiences and increasing the audience size with each campaign. Despite these efforts, the variance in open rates remains a concern.I'm reaching out to this community seeking insights and advice. Are there specific strategies or settings within Klaviyo that I might be overlooking? Has anyone else faced a similar issue during the initial stages of transitioning to Klaviyo? Thank you in advance for your help.

High Bounce Rate on Flow | Fake Email Addresses - Help!

Hi,I am auditing all of our live flows and I came across our Abandoned Cart Flow which has an unusually high bounce rate across the board at almost 9%. Upon looking into the analytics, I found that there is a long list of fake emails: Do you know why this would happen or how to prevent it?

An email was sent out, but the recipient never received it. They also checked their junk folders. Why did this happen?F.A.Q.

If we see the “Received Email” metric on the recipient’s profile, it means that the email was received and queued for delivery by the recipient’s server. This does not necessarily mean that the email reached the recipient’s inbox. If the recipient did not receive the message, or if there was a delay in receiving the email while it is showing “Received Email” on the profile, one possible reason could be a filtering program they make use of on their end. If their filtering program is preventing the email from reaching the inbox, they should try allow-listing their dedicated sending domain. Either way, any more information regarding the status of that email can only be provided by the recipient's ISP.

Mail not sending

Hi All, I’m having an issue with my mails not reaching the recipient. I can see the flow analytics and it shows when a mail is waiting to be sent and if it has been delivered to the recipient. I’ve used my own mail to test this and although Klaviyo analytics is saying the mail has been sent, it has not been received by myself or my colleagues. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Here is the flow below

Adding Klaviyo KPI's to a Looker Dashboard

I am hoping to bring over a few KPI’s from Klaviyo into a Looker dashboard my team is using (mainly Open rate, CTR, Unsubscribe rate).Is there a way to have an automated daily or weekly sync of Klaviyo data with a google sheet that can then be a data source in Looker studio? Or any others ways people have found to bring Klaviyo data to Looker?

Tracking at link level on each email

I see you can turn off tracking at the campaign and message level. Are you also able to turn off tracking for each individual link in the email? Are you able to pick and choose which links in the email you want to track? Thanks so much

Revenue Attribution to Emails

Hi there, I basically two questions, would be great if you can share your input.I recently sent an email campaign, I could see the analytics on how it performed, it’s performance was by far the lowest.Now, when I looked at a few profiles there were two cases:Some customers received the email, didn’t open it and placed order. Does this placed order value reflect in my campaign analytics?Second, a customer received my email, opened it, didn’t order anything, he was then targeted by my active on site flow email, he opened it and placed order. Now, is this placed order value attributed to my campaign email or my flow email or both?

Will revenue attribution appear right away, or after the 5 day period?

Hi all, Should revenue attributed to email flows being appearing in klaviyo right away, or is it only counted once the 5 day conversion period has passed? The reason I’m asking is I now have a few flows live etc, and there have been quite a few orders placed after receiving abandoned cart emails, such as below (although the screenshot doesnt show “clicked email” there have been a few) - but no flows has been live for over 5 days yet. I thought since everything else is reporting so quickly, it would seem like revenue would too. Thanks!

Inflated click rates?

Is anyone else experiencing massively inflated click rates? We started noticing it from about 2 weeks ago to now, and it’s showing an over 200% increase to our monthly click rate averages. When looking at individual campaigns as well, they’re also looking to be incredibly higher. Does anyone know if this is just a Klaviyo issue being worked through or what else would be causing this?

Emails with Gray Boxes?

Has anyone dealt with emails that look like this? Gray boxes where the line breaks are & odd hyperlinked CTAs? Seems to only happen to one person on our team who is using the latest Mac & iOS — emails are being opened in outlook.

Do bounces impact my sender reputation?F.A.Q.

Depending on the type of bounces you are receiving, it is possible that a bounce can have a negative impact on your sender reputation. Hard bounces are permanent errors that often signify the sender is employing poor practices, such as list purchasing, bad list hygiene, or a bad opt-in funnel. As hard bounces are something that the sender can control, elevated hard bounces will affect the sender’s reputation. Meanwhile, soft bounces are caused by  a temporary error (e.g., full inbox) that is out of the sender’s control. Thus, soft bounces are often forgiven and don’t strongly impact your reputation. How to see number of emails affected by Spam Filter

Analytics for campaign performance show a number for profiled who actively mark an email as spam. However as email boxes can filter emails they consider to be spam is there a way to measure how many are affected by such a filter? If so then we could modify subject line and/or A/B test. Thanks

Why are my welcome & abandon cart emails going to SPAM?

I’ve been working with a new client for the past 3 months. They were sending Welcome & Abandon Emails prior to my onboarding for 1-2 months. No campaigns were being sent. Their list was less than 1000 subs.We since updated the hosting records for a dedicated sending domain. We have not been able to get the emails out of SPAM, even if we are just using the Welcome Flow and Abandon Checkout emails.Although traffic is small, open rates vary week to week from 0% to 20% on these flows.We have begun sending weekly campaigns to engaged customers of about 100 (and growin) for the past month and are getting 30-40%+ open rates. But it is not translating to deliverability for new subs into the flows.Can anyone provide any advice? Really at a loss with how we can turn this around for the client right now as we cannot capture revenue from these flows.Ryan

Building dashboards

I want to build a dashboard that reports on data for multiple flows. I built a dashboard that reports on ALL flows, but I want one that provides info only on a handful of specific flows. I see where you can use Group values and select “flow” but I don’t see a way to select specific flows. I also see the Filter values enables me to select “flow equal” but I can only enter one flow name, not multiple. Thanks!

A question about "Placed Orders" regarding Funnel.io, Klaviyo, and Shopify

Hello!Pardon me if this has been addressed elsewhere on the forum, I did not come across it and want to see if anyone here could give me some clarification, or point me in the right direction on the following:Which Klaviyo-to-Funnel connection gives me the correct number of Placed Orders we contributed to?-Using the program Funnel, you can import/connect to Klaviyo accounts in six different ways.-Three of those connections (No Breakdown, Attributed Flow, Attributed Message) import the two metrics I would like for a report, “Placed Order” and “Placed Order Value”, however...-All three connections provide different numbers.If you go into the Klaviyo Metric Analytics, the “Placed Order” and “Placed Order Value” is imported from Shopify without filters.The “No Breakdown” Funnel connection to Klaviyo gives me the total Shopify number- it has nothing to do with Klaviyo. I added a filter to only include placed orders that have a “UTM campaign medium” of “email”, but that number does not match

Flow Open Rates Drop 20% in 1 Month

Our flow open rates dropped from 55% to 36% January to February. Unsubscribe, spam and bounce rates are all rated good/excellent in the past couple of months, so reputation hasn’t been affected by an increase in these. I have however been running multiple A/B tests on the core flows to try increase open rates (Welcome, Cart & Checkout Abandon, Browse Abandon, New & Repeat Customer). I’m wondering if running all these tests at the same time has had a negative impact on deliverability which has led to this huge drop in open rates? It should be noted that campaign open rates remain healthy at around 50% while sending to a 30 day engaged audience of over 200,000 profiles, 2-3 times per week. So I’m confused how the deliverability of campaigns looks so good but flows have had this sudden fall. Does anyone have any ideas in the sudden drop in flow open rates/ anyone seen something similar? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My IP reputation on Google Postmaster is poor, but my domain reputation is fine. Does the poor IP reputation affect my deliverability with Gmail?F.A.Q.

Gmail looks at the domain reputation more than they look at your IP reputation. They are aware that reputations of IPs can be impacted by multiple senders, as email marketing often uses  shared IPs at large ESPs like Klaviyo. Meanwhile, the reputation of the domain is in the control of the domain owner/sender. So, the IP reputation has very little impact as long as your sending domain reputation is strong.
