Hi there, I have multiple issues with Klaviyo, but the most urgent one is this: I have a sign up form to collect new subscribers. Subscribers from this form should automatically receive a first “welcome” flow. Before I send a specific campaign to them. But here’s the issue: Profiles who signed don’t get added to the subscribers list (I just found them by coincidence). I had to make a snapshot in order to create a new list, which I also added as a trigger to my welcome flow. So now, the welcome flow has another trigger (members of this new list). But I just checked the “send messages” overview on each profile and there was nothing. And also no flow attached to each profile. Now I am asking myself, how this should ever work. If I have to send each e-mail manually since the flow doesn’t work, what should I use Klaviyo for?
Hi Everyone,I’m interested in improving our Welcome series of emails to make the journey more personalised for our subscribers. I would like to ask a simple question in the first email and provide two answer options. I would then like to segment the subscribers depending on which answer they choose - so we can then tailor the remainder of their welcome journey based on their interests.Does anyone know how I can set up this segmentation? Will a user go through my flow again if they sign up for another form that re-adds them to the List?
Hi there I have two signup forms on my website that are collecting emails to the same list. One of the signup forms has a Profile Property “Hvalpebog” attached. Is it possible that profiles that already is a member of the list, will receive another flow, when signing up again with the signup form with the Profile Property? Best Erik
I have a new list created based on a facebook ad campaign. This list receive a very specific flow for a short period of time. Once the user has completed the flow and received no emails for 14 days, they are put in a segment. At this point, I want to add that segment to my MAIN Newsletter list. How can I do this?
Hi,I have had a business that had to be closed down and instead I am starting a new business within the same area. Hi everyone! In regards to users that abuse welcome forms and constantly keep entering using multiple different emails, is there a way to either identify, block or suppress further sign-ups from a specific IP? I’ve already identified 4 of their aliases via the codes they used but I want to double check my lists to see if they have any additional emails that have been recently submitted to gain more discount codes. Every minute there are hundreds being added.Can you please tell me how to:Stop them from subscribing? Hello everyone. I was wondering whether Klaviyo may consider making segment creation more customisable when custom and Klaviyo properties involving user behaviour onsite are selected. At the moment, when using properties like this to segment, the only inclusion criteria it is possible to select is “equals” (see below).But can other options also be added to this? Say for example, “does not equal”; “contains”; “does not contain”? This would enable segments to be created for, in the example of “contains” segments, the segmentation of users according to a wider range of products, for example those with similar prefixes, or those of similar kinds. Let’s say you want to run a “Christmas” campaign, and you want to send an email to everyone who had viewed a product with “Christmas” in the product name. Newbie here 😉 So - I’ve read other threads here regarding setting up a survey that links back to your manage preferences page (and subscribe form...).I don’t want to use Typeform which I see being suggested. My goal is to send out a series of campaigns, or even monthly campaigns, asking my subs to choose certain things - aka a survey. I would like whatever they click on to be added to their profile as a custom property.Not sure how to do this best? How do people run surveys natively in their campaigns and then have the property added automatically?Would I maybe set up embedded sign up forms on specific pages that I create for each survey (pages in shopify) and then have those fields link to the properties?Does that make any sense at all??🤔Or am I way over complicating it and there’s a better way?OR is my brain totally fried at this point from an entire week of setting up my new Klaviyo account and reading tons of technical articles...😝Thanks in advance for ANY and all help!
Okay, so I’m setting up a lead form ad on Facebook. The goal is that the leads will be sync’d up with a list and flow in Klaviyo. However, when I try to link the list with the facebook lead ad in the settings I get this error, Error validating access token: Sessions for the user are not allowed because the user is not a confirmed user.What does it mean and how do i fix it? This is just for trial and practice and I already have one (1) new subscriber and I can view it under “Sign-up form” but still zero (0) in “Lists and Segments”.Hoping I explained it correctly. Hello, I am trying to trigger a flow based on a customer shopify tag. Customers with this specific tag are not in a list or segment. Is there a way I can do this or do I need to add the customers with that tag in a specific list or segment? If so, can someone please explain how I can do this? Thank you
Basically, the current client of mine doesn’t have any list. Since we can’t do a welcome flow without any list, I tried to create a segment first. So I created a segment named “Master list” with a condition of “person is not suppressed”. Now I want to convert this into a list and then connect that list to the sign up form and welcome flow so that I can activate the welcome flow. Is what I’m trying to achieve possible? If possible should I “snapshot the segment” or “convert to list” in the settings? Please let me know
We have set up Shopify POS information within Klaviyo so that we’re now able to segment by people who placed an order coming from the Source “POS”. However, we have 4 different retail locations that we’re working with and want to further be able to segment by the retail location where the sign up / purchase was made. How do we pull this data from Shopify POS. Is there additional set up on the Shopify POS side or a field that I’m missing in Klaviyo? Thanks!

Hi Experts,I would like to set up segments in Klaviyo that all contain the buyers of my different Shopify products (1 product per segment).In the segment creator, however, I found two ways to do that:Fulfilled Order with an item selected Ordered Product with a product selected Which of these is the best practice, and how can I make sure that only people end up in the segment that really bought the product? Refunds and cancelled orders should not stay in there (this was an issue I had with my last email tool).Thank you!Max
HiWe have a newslist and is in the process of building af VIP list, that we will invite the most engage subscribers to.We have an invite flow that is triggeret if they meet certain criterias. But we want them to do an active accept of the invitation, click on a button or something like that. It should be as easy as possible.I’m looking for at good solution for this case. I have a Contact form that is connected to a list. I’ve indicated in the list setup the Contact Email address for the person that manages submissions to this list to reply. Is there a way to set up a flow for when someone submits their info, to send the form data to the Contact Email address assigned to the list? I’m sure I’m missing something relatively simple, but I’m not seeing the solution in the flow options. TIA. Does it need to be a flow or is there a setting somewhere that should automatically forward to the indicated list Contact Email?
