Can I build filters or segments based on timing between variables?

The current conversion Attribution model in Klaviyo is a bit broader than my companies “Last click contribution model”.So, I am looking at building a filter/custom report/segment to show only people who clicked on an email and placed an order within the next 3 days.the current filters of “clicked and email and made a purchase don’t seem to link to each other in a way I can edit - so people may be clicking on an email after their purchase, or making a purchase weeks after their last email engagement. I’d also like to see an average time between people receiving the email to when they open it, to how long before they click on it (do they click on their first view, or do they come back multiple times and re-engage with the same email day later)So, long story short, are we able to use ne variable as the criteria in the time range for another variable in a filter, list or segment? Thanks

My 'Winback' Segment Isn't Populating Correctly

Hi, I’ve today set up a ‘winback’ segment, but the list it is creating isn’t accurate:  It is creating a list of 6000 profiles, in which when I select the top profile from that list, it shows as that user actively receiving, opening and clicking the email in the past 24 hours:  Any idea on what I’m doing wrong? Many thanks

What are are the ways that a profile can be created in Klaviyo?

Hi! So we are trying to determine if there is a disconnect between our Shopify and Klaviyo accounts. One of the issues is there are multiple profiles that have been created in Klaviyo that:1. Are not associated with any lists or segmentsHave 0 activity in their activity log under their profile These profiles haven’t completed any forms that we can find and aren’t customers… so how do we have their names and emails? How were these profiles created?

How do I set up segments so that I have one list, multiple offers that a subscriber would want them all?

There are multiple forms to be added to my only list. From there, I want everyone to go through the nurture flow once but depending on the action of the subscriber, they will receive a different welcome flow.I've contacted support about how to set it up and was given instructions about how to use 'source' as a property and depending on the source filter, a subscriber will receive a different flow.That is working BUT now there is a problem because it is highly likely that a subscriber will want to have all of the initial offers that I use to build my list. For example:1. PDF download2. Unique product #1 (or #2, #3, etc)3. Clearance Sales4. Birthday Club5. General InterestHow do I set up segments so that I have one list, multiple offers that a subscriber would want them all?

15000 profiles but only 8000 in list

Klaviyo Auto Creating Customers?

Not sure how to describe this but here it goes..Somehow as customers enter our website, their data is automatically added to Klaviyo’s newsletter list. I’ve spoken with Shopify’s team and they say it is nothing on their end or other third party integrations causing customer data to be generated and added. We do not currently have a static newsletter submission form on the live site and have turned off cart abandon in Shopify. My understanding is the only other way people could subscribe to the newsletter is from orders, which these individuals are not ordering. Any thoughts? I do not want to bother people who are uninterested in communications getting emails.

Product filtering segments

Hi!  I’m wondering if this is possible. I want to build out a filtering system for my products (they choose 3-4 key characteristics of what they want in my product) and then the website will filter through the products and show them the applicable items.What I’m wondering is if there’s any way to have an option for them to sign up for updates of products they’d like after they walk through this filtering process?  So basically they’d be added to a segmented list that I can then email anytime products that match their filtering results are released?

How to talk to customers with low AOV?

Hi everyone in Klaviyo community, I have a challenge that I can’t seem to figure out and some ideas would mean a lot. I have a lot of first-time byers with low AOV ($10 - $20) which I see as a great opportunity to follow up, but I can’t seem to find a way to communicate with them and have them come back. I have a lot of different products in different categories and not sure how to segment them or build a post purchase flow for them.My repeat customer rate is 9-10%.Thanks in advance,Snow

1 list per form VS a couple main lists

Do you make a new unique list for each signup form you create? Or do you have a couple main lists that everyone is added to, and then use segments to pull form submission apart? What is your preference? What are the benefits? I’m interested in thoughts!

Automate property update of an email list feeding form my database server every time

What we are thinking to put into operation, if it is possible using Klaviyo is automate teh update of email list We have created previously in Klaviyo. We want Kaviyo to call a URL on our server from time to time in which it would be delivered email list data in JSON or CSV format so that Klaviyo updates the properties associated with every email.We wanted a straightforward and simple way so as not to overcomplicate with the API. We do not know if this is possible.Something similar to as if you periodically upload new CSV of contacts but in a periodic and automated way to keep Klaviyo's list updated with that of our database on our server It would also be useful if from our server we can call from time to time a URL that we define in Klaviyo and the emails will be passed in CSV or JSON format for Klaviyo to update or add to its email listSorry my english, thank you in advance

Too Many Lists!

Hi! in 2022 I created separate email lists for ever pop up event I attended. I thought this was the best way to target them. Now, I have too many lists, and I want to lump them all into one big “2022” list so that when I send out an email I can click on one list. Has anyone done this? Or, does anyone have a better solution I could use moving forward in 2023 instead of making individual lists for each pop up?

How to add padding below newsletter email logo and headline text?

Hello, I’m trying to setup my Newsletter email pages under the Subscribe & Preference Pages link. I’m noticing that the “You've Been Subscribed, Confirm Your Email, etc.” under the logo is RIGHT below the logo. I don’t see an option anywhere to add padding below the logo or above this headline text. How do I add some space between these two?Thank you, -Chris

Using Klaviyo with a custom shop

I work for a jewelry company that sells both online and through sales representatives. Our website is custom built and doesn’t use Shopify or other online sales platforms. I have been using Klaviyo for almost 2 years and it feels like I am still in over my head and having to manually setup, clean and cultivate my customers. Does anyone have any tips or advice for those of us using Klaviyo and not using e-commerce platforms to sell?

Hey Klaviyo community! First time posting here under this account. We’re testing some deliverability related things and one of the things we’d like to test asap is having the double opt-in option on vs. off. I don’t want to apply double opt-in settings to the whole list, but instead would like to A/B test it. I can’t find this capability on Klaviyo, but wondering if any of you have figured it out or you can think of an alternative way of achieving the same goal?

I didn’t see this in any settings, but is there a way to always include either a specific email address or account user/role in receiving all campaign sends? I know I could ensure they’re manually included but wondering if there is a more foolproof way.Thanks!

How does the list system work?

Hello. First, thanks in advance for any input that is given - I appreciate it.  I have created a new list in Klaviyo for people that create an account on my website. When a visitor signs up to an account will their profile automatically enter the list I have created? Or is there something I have to do? I’m asking because I have my flows, sent to the people in the new list I have created. # I hope to hear from you soon!

Importing email opt from app experience

Hello. I would like to create a master list of our app users. I would like new users to receive our onboarding flow. However, I also have older users that I’d like to add to the list but do not want them to receive the onboarding. Is there a way to add both groups to one master user list and suppress older users from receiving the onboarding?

Compliance Alert! What do do when customers share their information handwritten?

Every weekend, I do live activations! An engaging way to get people to try our products. They share their information on a card to participate in different giveaways, and they consent to receiving emails. I manually enter their information on a spreadsheet that I upload to Klaviyo. Many times, I don't understand the handwriting and potentially get their information wrong. It seems that this is altering compliance due to hard bounces. What should I do? People rather write their information than use a QR code and their phones.

Hello Klaviyo, I would like to finally start with Klaviyo. The customers from Shopify are already imported into Klaviyo. Now I want to create the email subscriber list. Are the customer profiles from Shopify automatically connected to the individual email contacts in my CSV list from another email sender after imported in Klaviyo? If not, what do I have to do then? updating email contact

Hello,I am simply trying to update a email in my AnaClare list from this email karenchill@charter.net to this email  hillkarenc@gmail.com and it is not saving? I also tried to create a new user with this email hillkarenc@gmail.com and merge the other email into it and it didn’t work. it’s a simple task that is not working?
