I’m trying to create a newsletter giving customers the option to opt out of Mother’s Day emails. I’m following the directions in this article: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/5495696206363#create-a-segment-and-exclude-it-from-holiday-sends3 However, it doesn’t tell me how to create a landing page for the opt-out confirmation. I have Shopify but am not versed in code. Where should I direct the customers when they click the button to opt out?
Good afternoon!I was mapping out a flow for my business and I was wondering if you can segment your triggers so that emails and sms only get sent to people who have looked at a specific product? For example, I have two products on my website and I’m setting up an abandoned cart flow. How can I make sure that the emails/texts sent out are sent out based on the product that they viewed? If they didn’t view product 2, I don’t want them to get promotions on product 2, because they looked at product 1 if that makes sense.
We integrated Klaviyo through BigCommerce so our contacts were automatically added to Klaviyo. However, it didn’t create a single list/newsletter with the contacts, rather Klaviyo automatically created segments for the contacts. We DO want to have a main newsletter list with all contacts. How do we keep the current segments (which Klaviyo autogenerated) but ALSO have those contacts in our newsletter list?
Hi, Curious if anyone has segmented profiles by color or size variants of products purchased? For example, we have a baby clothing brand. We want to track who purchases clothing in size 3 - 6 months so we can remarket 6 - 12 month clothing to them in another 3 months. I know I can segment by products, but can I segment profiles down by variants, like color and size?
Hi everyoneI’m new to the group so apologies in advance if this has been asked. I searched but could not find it.I am wanting to see growth statistics of a segment for the last 6 months, preferably weekly. I understand you can do this for a list but is there a way i can do this for a segment?
Is there a way to trigger a Flow in Klaviyo in the following way?A customer account has a tag added to it of “wholesale_account_approved” A flow is triggered based on that tag A webhook or something sends the customer an account activation URL so the customer can set a password for his/her accountMy uncertainty is on the last bullet point above. We only allow wholesale customers to see certain things on our website so once we approve an application, we need the customer to be able to set a password so they can login to their account in order to be able to shop wholesale items. The alternative method is to just have the customer enter a password as he/she fills out the application, but ideally we could have the application be submitted, then have the customer create a password upon the wholesale application being approved. Thanks in advance for your time and help.Kind regards,Adam
Hello, Looking to keep all customer data in one place. Since there are so many apps that sync with Shopify, it makes sense to keep the customer data in Shopify. The idea is to use Tags or use Shopify Customer Metafields to house First-party and Zero-party data, etc… Here is where I am at in my understanding of these 2 options to keep everything synced.TAGS: Klaviyo pulls in Shopify tags, but if you are using Klaviyo forms to capture customer data, the data becomes silo’d in Klaviyo, and does not get passed back into Shopify. METAFIELDS: Do not sync out of the box in either direction. Has anyone setup something similar and found solutions for this use case?
Hi, i tried following the guide of https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005078347-List-Cleaning But ended up deleting all of my subscribers (even those who actively opened my emails). Can i somehow get them back? I tried contacting support on Email but haven’t received any answers yet. Is there somehow a way i can get them back? Update: Not possible and found another solution.
Hi Klaviyo Community, I have an instance where a Shopify store was used for B2B sales. This Shopify store is no longer serving B2B, as a new tool is being used for the B2B part of the business and we want to use Klaviyo - Shopify for DTC. However, we are price conscious and signed up to the free plan as we would like to generate an income from e-mail marketing before signing up for the paid version. When creating our Klaviyo account, naturally Klaviyo synced with the Shopify store and historical data was pulled through (over 1,200 profiles) which obviously meant we no longer qualify for the free plan. However, the vast majority of these profiles aren’t relevant as they’re B2B and not DTC. What would be the best way to approach this? Should we add tags to the B2B profiles on Shopify and remove profiles with those tags from Klaviyo or how would you suggest we go about this? Ultimately, we don’t want the B2B profiles to sync with Klaviyo as they aren’t relevant to the DTC part of ou
Wondering if there’s some way to change the default number of items shown on the Lists & Segments page? Currently it’s stuck at 10.I have a lot of segments (and presently also a lot of lists while I’m tidying up the account I’m working on).I’m *constantly* having to click “Next” or “Page X”.There’s no indication of how many pages there are. And no links to jump to a specific page. It’s not the best UX I’m having here!I’m aware of the search, but that’s not always practical (e.g., I can’t always remember the segment names!). Having a full picture of the lists and/or segments in the account makes cut & paste and screenshots easier to do, which is helpful for my records and sometimes for reporting. And this is somewhat frustrating when I have a monitor in profile orientation, and could easily see all items on the screen at once, but only 10 items can be shown at a time.I’ve looked through the help, and searched here, but can’t find anything about whether it’s possible to change the
Hi all, We have an issue where we have a very large contact list, however, are only actively emailing a small portion of them. Is there a way, within the Klaviyo UI and not through API, to automatically suppress profiles that have been inactive for 30+ days, so we don’t get billed for them? Thanks
Hey Community, Looking for some assistance on how to best sort my profile data if I’m an event company. I know who is buying from my manifests but I want to be able to know which events a particular profile has attended. Currently when I upload a list of attendees, it’ll purge the existing profile emails which doesn’t help me identify which events this profile has attended. Thanks for any help!
I have a jot form which users are filling out information which is then put into a Make automation, at the end of the automation, I would like the person who filled out the form to be placed into a Klaviyo segment. How do I do this? I can’t create a segment without selecting a condition. I can’t just create a new list without having subscribers. Please help. If this is a job that I need to pay someone for, I am willing because I have been at this for two days and I am no closer to a solution than when I first started.
We have an existing B2C list on Klaviyo but have kept our B2B on a different email provider. We are thinking of migrating over our trade and PR lists to Klaviyo but I’m not quite sure of the benefits of one list with different properties or tags v having separate lists - what is the advice from others?
HiI’m trying to import some contacts into my master email list and only update properties and not subscribe them.According to this documentation article and several other doc articles….https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260806293150-How-to-import-profile-properties-using-a-CSV-upload ...once I upload a CSV file and get to the column matching page there is supposed to be a checkbox called “Subscribe to Email Marketing”. If I leave it unchecked the contacts will get imported and any matching contacts will have their properties updated but not subscribe data will be changed.Unfortunately, this checkbox does not exist. There is also supposed to be a “Review Import” button, but that does not exist either.Anyone else having this issue or can tell me how to import this way? Thanks so much!
I’m pretty new to Klaviyo and I am trying to set up a segment of customers who have cancelled their subscription box orders. The only profile it is populating is my own test cancellation and not the actual customers who have cancelled. Here is a screenshot of how I set it up. Can anyone give me tips to get it to populate correctly?
So, basically, I want to send regular campaigns to the segment called "engaged in the last 30/60/90/120 days" and the condition I use this for this segment is..Opened my email at least once in the last 30/60/90/120 days The email is not suppressed. The above are the only two conditions I use for this segment. Now, my question is, does that mean I am also emailing people who have abandoned their carts, browsed abandoned, or left their checkouts abandoned? If so, how do I get rid of them from my emails (i mean we shouldn't send marketing emails to them, right?)?Love some help.
HI,I WANT TO SHARE A LINK FOR MY INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS TO SUBSCRIBE DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR INSTAGRAM PAGE.
