I’m new to Klaviyo, and I'm trying to create a custom list of select individuals already in klaviyo, as is described on the option for “list” in the image below. When I select it, however, I don’t see any way to select any of contacts already in klaviyo. It would save me the time of uploading their information again, and I don’t know if there are any risks of duplicates. Hopefully something simple I missed, but I couldn’t find a way to do this in help articles. I welcome any feedback.
I have a signup form for emails and birthdays (for babies) in the format DD/MM/YY.I tried to create a list so that subscribers can go into the list of related DOB.For example, if a child is born on 02/10/2022, I want them to go into a list of 0-3 months. if a child is born on 02/07/2022, I want them to go into a list of 3-5 months. and so on.Is this possible or is there a better way I can do this?Please I need solution.Thank you.
Hi!We are new to klaviyo and i’ve just set up my first newsletter which is linked to a segment list. the newsletter is meant for new subscribers so we can build a customer base. We’ve linked our klaviyo newsletter with our shopify shop. We’ve noticed when testing the link, only non-gmail users can succesfully sign-up. If we try to sign up with a gmail account, we do not get a success message and the user is not subscribed.. how can we fix this?
I’m just setting up Klayvio. I’ve integrated my Shopify account and under lists and segment I don’t have a default “Newsletter” segment. All the instructions say that this should be there. I’m confounded. All the other preset segments are there. I’ve got to be missing something but this key segment is the starting point for everything and is everywhere in the set up instructions.Can someone help?
Hi Klaviyo Support Team,I have a question regarding sign up forms and segmentation process. I have designed a sign up form that the subscriber sees a question as “Are you a professional athlete or a beginner? I want them to be added to the professional subscribers segmentation when they click on the word “professional” automatically and it should happen the same when they click on the word “beginner”, but I’m quite confued on how to define such filter, should I apply it on the sign up form or I should design a flow for it?Thank you in advance.
Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me solve where some of my email signups have gone to?In total I have had 26 customers complete my signup form, these are meant to be added to my newsletter. However only 13 are on my newsletter list. I have the double opt in setting selected currently and I was wondering if this was having an impact? Thanks

We want to use klaviyo for sending newsletter. Currently our shopify store has 2 languages, french and english. Customers and subscribers are added in a klaviyo list automatically, however there is no language information...?Inside shopify, there are filters to segment customer into different language lists, but this data doesnt seem to get transfered to klaviyo…? We need to somehow get the language information for each customer/subscriber in order to send them newsletter in the correct language… How can this be done? What is the easiest method to achieve this?We are using shopify native multi language feature, but will also be adding a language addon to better control/manage translations. We would be using one of the addon that officially support the native shopify language feature here : https://apps.shopify.com/collections/apps-for-store-languagesAny recommendations? Would one of these allow us to more easily get the language data in shopify?
Hi there,I am new to Klaviyo and have a question.I have connected my small woo-commerce shop to Klaviyo. Klaviyo shows 6578 profiles in a standard “all profiles not suppressed” list. Of these 2188 are on my newsletter list - these are the people who have given permission to emails from me (I uploaded these from a csv and I also uploadet profiles who have opted out and suppressed them).My question:The profiles NOT on my newsletter list and not currently suppressed: Should I suppress these? This way I cannot make a mistake and email people I don’t have permission from + also I will not have to pay for them.Yes or no? And why (not)?Thanks in advance!
I’m looking to tap into the college student demographic. Does anyone have a reliable lead source they’ve used in the past to gather emails? Or perhaps the best trick for leverage our current master list so that I can sort out the college students or college emails? Thanks!cmfinigan
Hi, Im looking for advice on how to effectively segment my lists - I have a store that sells kimonos and jewellery. I have created segments for people who have viewed product or bought product from each category. However I have the issue of people coming onto the website and viewing the category page but not viewing a specific product meaning they dont get segmented. Now as far as I can tell, I can create a rule to segment for viewed product contains xyz but I cannot create a rule for viewed category page. I should also mention that they are being subscribed to a single main list and then being segmented from that list. One solution I have is if i want to send a newsletter about kimonos, I can send to my list and then exclude jewellery buyers/ viewers. However, the issue with this is that I have people who still come onto the jewellery category but dont view products, and thus dont get segmented. So then these people still end up recieving my kimono newsletter when they arent interest
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help me? In order to comply with external regulations, one of my clients need to ensure that each customer on their database has their own account on their website. They currently have a list of customers that have different names and the same email address because they’re a family member, friend etc., but I need to segment these people so that we can add them into a flow to send them the email to update their details or create a separate account. Does anyone know how I could segment these people? I’ve already tried things such as Person’s first name equals 2 but have had no luck so was hoping someone would know if there’s an answer? I want to be able to get around manually uploading a CSV as a list but don’t know whether it’s possible or not? Thanks!
Hello everyone, I’m hoping i can find some guidance/advice on the issues I am having with my Klaviyo & Shopify. I’ve been in business for almost a year now but I am now just finally starting to collect more e-mails to gain more traction and revenue both online and in-store. I use Shopify for both my website and POS. I installed Klaviyo a number of months ago and played with it a little and gave up - I’m more eager than ever now to get in on email marketing but I’ve definitely made a mess out of things when it comes to my lists, segments, customers etc… Because I use POS through Shopify I find that those customers do not get added or e-mailed with any flows when I did have everything running (flows & campaigns) I’ve also found it hard to get the segments to work properly as currently I have customers who’ve been subscribed and shopping through my business for numerous months but have ended up in new subscribers… I kind of wish there was just a huge reset button to wipe the

I'm looking to add a conditional split to one of my flows. Essentially, we are sending 4 emails over 1 month. After 30 days they hit the conditional split. I'm looking to have anyone who has opened one of those 4 emails continue on the flow and anyone who has NOT opened one of those 4 emails to be split onto a separate branch. However, when I go to make the trigger, it is just a generic "Opened Email at least once in the last 30 days". There is a filter option, but when I select it and go to choose my property it says there are no items on this list. I found this article on segments where it's mentioned that you can build segments off who opened a specific email. Hello,I have a E-Mail List and I’am going to gather new Leads for a Pre Sale event. The Pre Sale will be based on a New List. Beside newly acquired E-Mail addresses I would also like to provide my existing Addresses the option to Opt-In to this List and consequently to this flow.How can I provide my Existing Subscribers the option to also become part of the Pre-Sale Event?Example:Existing Newsletter Subscribers = 1000 PeopleNew List for Pre Sale = 0 People1) I will add new Subscribers via Lead Ads2) I want to provide my 1000 existing Subscribers the !Option! to become part of this New List (3-5 Step Flow). I don’t want to provide the flow to them automatically since it might be taken as scammy.My idea is to send my existing 1000 addresses a 2 Step Flow with informing them about this new Product and Pre Sale event. Within the E-Mail they should receive a Button like “Yes, I want to participate” and then become part of this new Flow.Thank you very much.
Hi all, I’m not sure if this happens automatically, but if not, is there a way to make all flows push people onto the main list? I’m imagining it as a step in all the flows (“add email to main list”), but I’m very green at all this, so I don’t do if that do-able or not. I thought it might be something to do with the “webhook”, but after reading more, I think that’s something else.Apologies for a potentially stupid question… I’m new to all this!
The emails of a few of my key customers (subscribers) was recently changed as their companies were taken over by other companies. What would be the best way to manage this change in email ? Create a new user (or) just replace existing email with new email ?Any precautions to be taken while doing these changes ? (like taking a backup of previous campaign results etc.)
I have mistakingly added a few profiles which shouldnt have been suppressed manually via a CSV, how do i undo this? I have added a new segment to identify these circa 7500 profiles however I am unable to find where I can upload this csv to “re-subscribe” these people.I have emailed supportm and await responseMany thanks
