Why does Google never show email conversions with Klaviyo?

Hi There,For November 2023, Klaviyo attributes $86k to flows and campaigns but GA attributes $0 to email.I’ve read some help articles which talk about clipped emails and tracking differences resulting discrepancies but this is much more than a discrepancy - right?All our campaigns and flows have utm tracking on and we couldn’t find a GA integration so assume we use utm parameters but no joy.Our experience with other platforms is that it all just works so are confused what the issue is.Any help much appreciated.Cheers, Ben

Opens by Device

Where can I see a report for the channel opens by device? Desktop vs mobile vs tablet for the whole channel, not message by message. Is there a dashboard for that? I made a custom report for client family os but it seems like there should be an easier way to view it for the whole channel.

No Time To Warm List

Hi all, I switched from Mailchimp back in December. I thought it would be a perfect time to warm my list as December and January are usually slow months for me. The thing is, I first had a bad flare up of tendonitis and right after came down with the flu that turned into pneumonia and a hospital stay. So, I was not able to work on my business at all the past 8 weeks. I’m now back to work and things were so slow I really need to have a store sale to get some income coming in. I don’t have time to wait a month to warm up my list.What’s the worst that can happen if I just email my sale to my whole list? I suppose I can just send out sale notices to my most engaged audience? I’m not even sure how to do that. I’ll have to do some reading.Any thoughts and suggestions appreciated. I just really can’t wait a month to do a sale campaign.

Added to cart event is not working properly

Hi,I installed the added to cart event to our shopify store about 2 months ago, and it’s seems like everything is properly setup as its shown in the image below. However there wasn’t any event recorded despite people adding items to thier cart.  Is there anything else i need to instal?

Shopify Email Subdomain in Google

Hi all, it’s me again!I’m wondering if anyone else is running into this issue. I have my domain purchased through Google, and when I create a subdomain and point it to Shopify, I can’t create an email for the subdomain without having Shopify’s DNS records to create an email. Has anyone else run into this issue and found a solution? Hopefully this makes sense!

Set Dedicated Domain - Invalid domain. Check domain info and try again.

So currently the emails sending via the system are all going to spam.  I’m trying to send via a dedicated domain which will hopefully help, but on the first step when I enter my root domain and ‘sending domain’ which is suggested as ‘send.yourdomain.com’ I am getting an error: Invalid domain. Check domain info and try again.Dismiss Does anyone have any ideas?!

If I decided to halt sending for a period of time, do I need to re-warm my dedicated sending domain?F.A.Q.

If you halt sending for a period of time, it is recommended that you re-warm your dedicated sending domain before you go back to your normal sending cadence. Inbox providers like to see consistency (in both volume and engagement), and if they notice that a specific sender resumes sending after a while, they will potentially flag that sender as suspicious. Note that you don’t need to go through the whole warm up process again. Starting off with a 30 days engaged segment will work!  For additional resources on how to warm up your sending domain, you can check out the Guide to Warming Your Sending Infrastructure article.

Will adding in Klaviyo’s CNAME and TXT record impact sending on other ESP platforms?F.A.Q.

Adding Klaviyo’s CNAME and TXT record will not impact sending on other ESP (Email Service Provider) platforms as long as the subdomain created for Klaviyo is different from the other ESP’s sending subdomain. Klaviyo’s CNAME is mainly aimed towards Klaviyo to make use of the subdomain, so it would not interfere with any sending on other ESPs.

TLDRIs it possible for me to install klayvio js on multiple client ecomm sites? If so, can I create a report for each client? ContextWe are about to launch a sponsored content portion of our newsletter. DKIM Shared Domain

Will adding DKIM to Google Workspace affect the deliverability of Klaviyo emails sent form the shared domain?If so, is it worth changing to a dedicated sending domain in Klaviyo to ensure deliverability for both types of emails?

Add To Cart Flow - Landing Page Trigger

So I’ve successfully installed the code and inputted the class name so my flow triggers when cart is abandoned on the PRODUCT PAGE However I am using the Turbo theme and found that the flow doesn't trigger when “Add To Cart” is clicked and abandoned with the “Featured Product” Element which you can put on the landing page. I’ve gone in and installed the same code in the “Featured Product” Template on the backend but nothing has changed. Any solutions to this?

Email is showing up as Opened but not received in inbox

I sent out a campaing for my client. Klaviyo is showing that some of these contacts have opened the email but my client says it never landed in their inbox nor in spam. Why does this happen ?Opens appears immediately after the reception of the email. Does anyone know what can cause this?I have to resend the email manually so that he receives it wellThanks for your help !

Can I create a metric that records if a Buy Now button is clicked?

Hi everyone!I am using Shopify and already installed the Add To Cart → Class snippet.I can see the “Add to Cart” event triggering. But what I am looking for is to understand if there is any way I could also send Add To Cart events when visitors use the “Buy Now” option?Because that option send people directly to Checkout (no add to cart) and the Checkout initiated event is only trigger after completing the 1st step of the checkout (information page). So the problem is that I have visitors clicking Buy Now, not finishing the first information page in the checkout. So this people the last event I have from them is “View Product” How could I measure and send events to reduce this gap between “View Product” event and “Initiated Checkout” (because it triggers on the second page of the checkout)Thank you very much!Regards

Smart Send Time: Effectiveness Considering Inflated Open Rates?

We haven’t yet completed the necessary steps in Klaviyo for Smart Send Time, but I am curious: How effective is the Smart Send Time data/tool in Klaviyo now given the inflated open rates due to increased proxy opens by mailbox providers? (e.g., Apple’s Mail Privacy Protection, and others.) At the time I first heard about Smart Send Time in Klaviyo a couple of years ago, it seemed that it was primarily based on opens. Are other engagement stats factored into this determination, as well?Has anyone gone through the steps for Smart Send Time and found its implementation to increase recipient engagement and ultimately deliverability? The steps aren’t complex, but I’m just wondering if it’s worth the time and effort or not and how effective it is considering proxy opens.Thank you!

Customizing Custom Reports

Im still relatively new to Klaviyo so i appreciate any and all community support.I am building out some Custome reports to track Flow performance across A/B tests and various flows and I’m struggling to add fields to these reports, for example subject lines. Having the subject line pulled into the report next to the break down of open rates can gave a quick single view on whats working and what's not across multiple campaigns at a glance (also our past EDS did this so my manager is expecting it and I’d rather not copy past everything across tabs in Excel).Another thing that would be great is the “Conversion Metric” I can get a total of Orders Placed - but I’m struggling to find the actual people who made those purchases to spot check and monitor - in the flow you can see the analytics and see the audience who performed any flow activity, but the conversion metric isn’t an option there.Long story short - is there a way of customizing the output of the reporting in Klaviyo?

Segment Analysis

I would like to create a dashboard where it shows a breakdown of all of our segments. It would be good to customise with custom properties too. Ideally I would like to see a breakdown of top performing segments, how your newsletter list is broken down by segment, which segments generate the highest revenue, click rate, unsubscribe rate, open rate, engagement rate etc.I use a system called nosto which has a really great segmentation insights section and breaks down your whole audience showing how all of your segments fit into all of your customers as a whole.It makes it really easy to see which groups of customers to prioritise, which ones might need nurturing etc.Is there anything that already does this within Klaviyo? I don’t want to export and shuffle this data around, I would like it to be a live dashboard that always stays up to date. With new customers signing up constantly, an export showing a snapshot of the exact moment you export isn’t much use, as it will become out of date t

How are recipients/metrics calculated in flow reports that have more than one email?

I have a welcome series with two emails. In the flow performance report when I am looking at recipients and metrics, I want to know if it is unique to individuals or are the metrics unique to each email? I’m wondering if the recipients/data is counted twice? In other words, if a user that enters the welcome series receives and opens both emails within the flow, is that user counted twice in the recipients list and unique opens metric, one for each email received and opened or just once?The questions comes because we paired down our welcome series from six emails to two and we are outperforming almost all metrics, however the recipients count is much smaller. Makes me think if the decrease in recipients is a result of reducing the welcome series to two emails or are there less users entering the welcome series flow.

Magento: Why does Klaviyo can't read the "Checkout started" behavior of my customers?

I am having issues with the abandoned cart series. Klaviyo Flow Reporting

Can anyone see their flow data in GA4?  My campaigns are pulling through but not the flows for some reason.I’ve also tried creating a custom channel grouping in GA4 and changed the source/medium in Klaviyo to match it and that not working either.Could it be the order of the channel groupings?  And flows are perhaps lower down in the attribution model?

Integrate Klaviyo with Shopify's Hydrogen as of 01-2024

I have been through all of the responses to how to integrate Klaviyo with Shopify Hydrogen but to no avail, since all answers seem to just refer back to the code provided at https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/v1-2/docs/integrate-with-a-shopify-hydrogen-store...This page is entirely out of date and does not easily integrate with Hydrogen’s current version. to get the Active onsite tracking working I was able to utilize the standard loadscript as described, but problems immediately arise for the viewed product and recently viewed item tracking. Woocommerce 'Started Checkout' not tracking

I’ve seen others with the same problem that has required someone from the Klaviyo team to investigate. I’ve tried the suggestions listed on those tickets and they don’t work. I have already installed and linked the wordpress plugin. My sales data has all transferred, except for one issue: Started Checkout doesn’t track. I can’t get started with my emails until this issue (and another I have a ticket open for) are resolved.
