Is there a way to test the text-only version of an email?

I typically edit the text-only version of our emails so they look cleaner; I also remove any show/hide content logic, and only include info I want all customers to see. With our next campaign I would like to leave some of the logic in place; is there a way I can send a test email of the text version?Thank you.

Browse Abandonment Dynamic Image not showing

Good day,I’ve been struggling with the Browse Abandonment Flow for some time. For some reason it won’t show the “{{ event.ImageURL|default:'' }}”These settings are default, I’ve tried many things already. I’ve tried to add default Browse Abandonment Flow which doesnt work and I’ve tried deleting whole Shopify & Klaviyo integration but it didn’t work. What I’ve found interesting is, that in the Event Properties everything is still set to my old domain. The URLs and everything are all redirects, but maybe thats the reason?How can I change that? I already deleted Klaviyo and setup the integration again.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to set a minimum spend for a coupon code using a decimal point (eg. $19.95)? Surely a bug?

Is there a way to expire a dynamic coupon if user unsubscribe from list?

I have seen a lot of users subscribing to sms marketing jus to get the code and then unsubscribing right away. Is there a way to invalidate their dynamic coupon if they do so? Thanks!

Template Design Question - Text and Color Blocks above images

I’m wondering how I can create a template like this in Klayvio. I understand how to achieve the first image in the email with sunset image and text (section with background image, text and a button on top of it, adjust padding of text). How are the other sections created? There are sections that have images that are not full width, with white blocks and text positioned over the image. Are the white areas part of the original image?

Incorrect coupon code applied

I am trying to finalise our Abandoned cart flow emails and have created a coupon code in Shopify TAKEMEBACK. When this is applied and I do a test, the test links to the checkout correctly and I can see the products left in the cart,however it applies a WELCOME coupon automatically instead. Not sure what I am doing wrong here! Thanks.

Multiple variables fallback in personalization not working

I found this article:https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408802648731This syntax is super bizarre, but setting that aside, it which indicates a way to not only use nested variables, but to then have multiple fallbacks it seems.Assume I have a 2 user profile properties, one is nested and other is not:"Custom Domains": { "Enabled": true, "Url": "foo.com"},"Shop Url": "bar.com"However, i’m having problem with these personalization templating:{{ person|lookup:"Custom Domain"|lookup:"Enabled"|default:"not found"}}{{ person|lookup:"Custom Domain"|lookup:"Url"|default:"not found" }}{{ person|lookup:"Custom Domain"|lookup:"Url"|person|lookup:"Shop Url"|default:"not found" }}Am I interpreting the docs wrong and we cannot use nested properties?  It’s a total pain to not have the UI expose nested props correctly.

Browse Abandonment Dynamic Photo

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to change the photo from which the code {{ event.ImageURL }} pulls from.For Checkout Abandonment the Dynamic photo is {% if item.product.variant.images.0.src %} When I changed all of the 0 to a 1. It now pulls the second photo from the product page selection. How can I do the same with Browse Abandonment.Thank You

Unique code in flow not working for some customers

We’ve set up an abandoned cart flow, that generates a unique discount code% off carty Expires 3 days after receipt one-time useWhile some folks are receiving the codes and using them just fine, we are getting a handful of folks for whom the code doesn’t work. When I try the code in the cart it gives me ‘Enter a valid discount code’ error in Shopify.I followed the steps in this thread to check if it had been used, and the code hadn’t been used before. Any insight?

Why are the email header alignments different for Gmail and Outlook?

Hi guys, Would like to seek assistance on some matters in related to the alignments of email headers. We seem to be having different alignments when comparing between Outlook and Gmail. As you can see from the image, the one from the Outlook below looks disproportionated with extra spacings.However the one in Gmail below seems OK with balanced spacings. Are there any suggestion that we can resolve this issue? There's two problems I am facing regarding this ! 1. The currency is showing in dollars but it should be RON/€ , I have changed it in klaviyo and Shopify but it ain't changing!!2. Do you guys recommend constructing emails on Klaviyo’s editor or designing on figma and then slicing and inserting into Klaviyo? I like that the figma alternative gives you more customization but would like to know how everyone else is using Klaviyo.

Is there a way to change the product image shown in a dynamic table?

Hello - I have a few automations like Abandoned Cart & Browse Abandonment where whatever product is left behind or viewed is in the email that we send to those people. Each of our products have anywhere from 2-5 images. They consist of different product images, and a few lifestyle images of models wearing our products. Currently, the dynamic image is showing just the first product image. Is there a way we can change what product image is being shown? For example, if we want the lifestyle images to show in the email, is there a variable I can select so a specific image of this product shows up, or it rotates between the 5 images every time?

Klaviyo breaking URL with multiple parameters

Hi there, I'm building a custom URL within an email template to be sent through Klaviyo, that takes a customer directly to a pre-filled checkout. The URL contains multiple parameters and here's an example of what it looks like: https://gustavo-fine-guitars.myshopify.com/discount/GR13JsCWCTgQrOgiuV-TRXB_/?redirect=/cart/add?items%5B%5D%5Bid%5D=39879309459534%26items%5B%5D%5Bquantity%5D=1%26items%5B%5D%5Bselling_plan%5D=574554190%26return_to=/checkout In case you want to test it, my storefront password is 'abc123'. While this URL works fine when you try to load it directly in the browser, if it's sent as a link through an email, Klaviyo breaks it. I did some research and found this topic that suggests disabling the Email-to-website Tracking setting. That works, however, that may be a feature that is actually used by the merchant, so disabling it wouldn't be a possibility. Is there a way to prevent Klaviyo from breaking the URL, while keeping Email-to-website Tracking enabled?

Show/Hide Blocks with IF/ELSE condition for images

Hi!I’ve been reading about the Show/Hide function but I still can’t figure it out to apply it to my use case. I want to show image 1 to US customers and image 2 to UK customers and image 3 to the rest of the users. How can I use the Show/Hide function + the IF/ELSE condition to make this work? or is there any other option for this? Right now I applied the logic: person.Country == "US" to image 1 and person.Country == "UK" to image 2, but I’m still seeing image 3 (for the rest) when I preview the email for each country. Thank you for your help!

Errors with all Shopify templates

Whenever I use with any of the Shopify templates from the Template Library (for example, Shopify Order Confirmation), I get the “Message displayed without tags or variables” error when trying to preview / send a test even before customizing anything on the template! This implies that there are inherent errors with the Shopify templates that Klaviyo is providing.Does anyone have any insight into this?

Why is my product feed image not aligned if the product name is shorter?

I’m Setting up our email flows for our business, and i’m struggling with one very specific issue with product feeds:When they appear on email, if the product title is bigger or smaller than the one next to it, the images appear wonkyI’ve looked under every style editor and but I cannot figure out how to set these images straight, I’m hoping someone else has had this issue and fixed it and can let me know how.Cheers,Dave
