Will a "all-picture" email go to trash?

Hi, I come across an article on klaviyo saying I shouldn’t use all pictures email, because they will go to Spam fold. Can someone on the Klaviyo team clarify if that’s true?I usually have my design team to design everything in photos and drag and drop them. If that is the case, then I will have to reconsider the strategy BestR

Best way to segment people in a flow/campaign

Hi,What’s the best way to segment people in a flow? I want to add one email in my welcome flow message, having people to choose which category they are most interested in, so that later I can send them more personalized message. For example, duvet covers/ sheets/ pillows/etc.What I am currently thinking is to make each option into a photo and using  property update function to link to each one click. The only concern I have is what if people choose more than one categories of interest. Would it overwrite?Let me know your recommendation or best practices, and thanks Klaviyo community as always R

Changing default Heading and Paragraph Styles

Is there is a way to edit the default parameters that appear in a text box for the “Format” dropdown?I use Klaviyo for a few clients and I am getting really exhausted with having to constantly edit source code to do what I want. I know I can save certain block styles and load those in as needed but this doesn’t work for every possible scenario. I would just like to replace the “Paragraph, Heading 1, Heading 2” formats with my own branding. I also thought when I choose a new font for my brand that this would at least override the gaudy default font but it doesn’t. More importantly I’d also like to be able to set my own line-heights, spacing, text-transformation, etc for each format. All the default format settings are generic WISYWIG horrors.Really hoping I’m just overlooking an easy solution here so I don’t have to work so hard to design a basic branded email.Thanks.

Hey Klaviyo Community,Does anyone use Klaviyo Analytics to identify new customers & attribution ? I’ve identified I can find our new customers each day by making a segment on Klaviyo. What is the best method to determine where the sales came from ? I.e Facebook, Google etc Thanks for your help. C

PopUp form - show success when user submits email but not SMS

Hi there, Very new to Klaviyo, sorry if this is a dumb question. When setting up my first Signup PopUp form, I ask for their email address. If they submit that, they have the option to sign up for SMS. If they DECLINE the SMS then they never make it to the Success notice. Is there a way to make it so that if the customer submits either of those they make it to the Success notice? I would like for them to know it went through and to check their email for the coupon code because sometimes it takes up to 5 minutes to get that email with the code in it. Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Can a customer place an order via SMS? Here’s what I’m thinking:I sell a replenishable product, and my goal is to make reordering as simple as possible.I’d like to send and SMS with product details and ask the customer to reply with “Yes” (or something similar) if they want to reorder. Is this possible?If not, what is the most frictionless way to capture reorders via sms?

Why am I not receiving notifications of new signups to my newsletter?

Hi,I have a customer who is trying to sign up for my newsletter, she got all the confirmation emails alongside the GDPR etc and has received the discount code, but her email is not showing up in my newsletter list. I’ve also received a new profile from another customer who signed up using my form on my website but her email isn’t showing up on my newsletter list either. Plus I’ve not received any emails from Klaviyo letting me know I have two new subscribers. Any ideas what’s happening here please?I tweaked my sign up form slightly the other week but it all said it was live on my dashboard so I’m not sure that would have affected it? Many thanks,Kate

Linkning my custom-built website form to Klaviyo

My client’s website is custom built, so it’s not on shopify or any other ecommerce platform. We have a Signup Form on one of the landing pages where clients fill in their details in order to profress through the sales funnel.I want to link that form to our Klaviyo account so we can start sending email flows to the people who fill out the form.Is there a detailed documentation or video guide to help me understand how can this be done?The form is at the bottom of this page www.doko.md/appAppreciate the help.

SMS Organization Prefix - Does it have to be the company name?

Hi Klaviyo community!One of my clients wants to try sending SMS where instead of the normal organizational prefix (example: Company name: Here’s my SMS message) they want to use their names instead. I looked through Klaviyo documentation and could only find that it is highly recommended to use the organization prefix to help people identify who the text is from, but my client is really keen to try using their names instead (they are using SMS to build community). I thought we might try with an MMS where the image has the company logo on it (so it’s clear who the message is from) - are there any reasons why it would be a terrible idea to use a name instead of the organization prefix? (example: Person’s name: Here’s my SMS message) Thanks for any advice!

wrong mail and spam

Hello,I changed my default sender email, but it keeps using the wrong one. I tested it out by leaving a product in my cart. Does anyone know why?Also my second question is how to prevent my mails going spam? I already connected my own send domain and I made a professional email (info@domainname), but my old personal email keeps being used as sender.I would highly appreciate it if someone could assist me in this matter.

Abandoned cart flow: return to your cart button takes me to none/ any ideas?

I have set up a abandoned cart flow and its triggered  just fine but when I click on the return to cart button in the mail that is sent out I am taken to     And under flows in the url I have:  {{ event.extra.checkout_url }} I have even tried {{ event.extra.responsive_checkout_url }} with the same result. Does any one have any ideas?? p.s My store is runing on shopify

Subscribers doesn't go to Newsletter List using Gempages' Newsletter form from the Footer

I’m currently using Gempages in Shopify. I designed my Newsletter form on the footer of my Home Page. However, whenever the customer sign up from the footer it gets added to my profiles but it doesnt go in my newsletter list. Can someone help me on this please?

Post Purchase Popup to Update Preferences

Hi, i’m trying to create a Post Purchase Popup that appears when a customer makes a purchase but have not engaged with the said popup. This will ask or remind to update their profile to acquire additional information like birthdates. I saw a suggestion to create a segment (place order at least once over all time) and use that as a targeting rule for the popup. However, my dilemma is what if its not the first time they make the purchase, that would mean they won’t see the popup right? Is there a different way to do this?

{{ event.extra.checkout_url }} redirects to a none/ page

Hi Klaviyo community,I have a problem with my "complete order now" button in my Abandoned Checkout Flow having the event variable {{ event.extra.checkout_url }}The problem is that each time it sends to an actual profile who started checkout and they click it, they will be redirected to a http://none/ page and I have no idea what's wrong with my set-up or maybe if it's a Shopify issue.I also tried using the {{ event.extra.responsive_checkout_url }} based on this thread:https://community.klaviyo.com/custom-integrations-29/event-extra-checkout-url-doesn-t-work-383But still, the same problem persists.Even if I try to send a preview email, it just redirects to a "Sorry, that page isn't actually here." page.Just dropping this question in case someone else had the same issue and found a way to solve it.Thanks.

Why Isn't my Button activating a popup form on Shopify?

Double opt-in email appearing as event

I recently enabled double opt-in for my master list. Should the confirmation email show as an event on a subscribers profiles or should I trust that Klaviyo is sending it out? I guess would like some transparency as to whether new subscribers are confirming their subscription.

Boxes around tables in Outlook - Help!
