Facebook says my Klaviyo audience is too small, but my segment in Klaviyo shows 1,000's of customers are in it. What is going on?

I’ve made a bunch of segments within Klaviyo and integrated them as custom audiences in Facebook. On Klaviyo, it shows there are over 5,000 people in the segment, but Facebook says it’s too small to be used for a lookalike audience.

How can I send customer a thank you for subscribing email when they subscribe immediately

How can I send customer a simple thank you for subscribing email when they subscribe?  I have a flow set up but it can take hours for the first email to arrive if at all.  All I want to do is create a ‘Thank you for subscribing’ email with a discount code that will arrive in their inbox straight after they have subscribed. that is all. I don’t want them to have to do the ‘double opt-in’.  I’ve set it to Single Opt-in, but they aren’t receiving an email straight away.  This was so easy in Mailchimp and I’ve spent hours now trying to sort this, any help would be appreciated!

How do I limit the Subscribe Page only for Subscribers that are not in the list?

Hi Everyone! Newbie here.  So I created a QR code which links to a subscribe page in Klaviyo. To make it simpler and easy for our target subscribers, I included an offer in the success page. Is there a way for us to limit the success page only for customers that have newly signed up? So if they signed up already, the coupon code won’t pop up? thank you!

Creating a segment for Bold V2 subscribers

Hi there!I am trying to figure out how to create automated segments based on our Bold V2 subscribers. I have followed the instructions for how to do the integration following the steps outlined here: https://support.boldcommerce.com/hc/en-us/articles/6740843522964. But after completing this step, I am still not seeing where/how I can create segments based on the webhooks/events discussed in the documentation. Please help! :)

Black List Email-Addresses from Double-Optin Mails

Dear Guys, i hope you can help us with an extremely important issue as we are in the midst of an litigation with a prosecutor that now reached cease-and-desist declaration against us to avoid any further mails being send to him. The accusation in general contains the point that he a) reproached us that we send him an unwanted double opt in mail (which is impossible to proof how typed in a mail adress into one of our signup funnels) and b) that our double opt in mail contained promotional aspects that is against German law (which is not the cause). The whole claim is really fraudulent but the court declared the cease-and-desist declaration, that we are not allowed to send ANY mail to the customer anymore. As we could blacklist the mail address for sendouts through all our flows, Klaviyo claimed now that they are unable to avoid a sendout of a double opt in mail to the customer if his email address would be typed in in any given sign up form again. And this double opt in mail would then

How to populate drop down menu with brand options?

At present we have a pop up to with second step to ask customers for product type of most interest however if we could also allow the customer to select their favourite brand then this would allow us to send them more relevant emails. As we use Shopify this would be the product vendor name. Does anyone know how I can make this happen? Thanks

Subscribe Page - Accept email marketing (or not) Woocommece

I’m creating the subscribe page to new customers and I want to add a checkbox that allows people to receive, or not, email marketing.I find a lot of information about SMS Marketing (which is not the case) and when the “problem” is with a Shopify integration, but I’m using Woocommerce.So, if I create a checkbox with the profile property $consent and add the property email do the option does this work? It people don’t check the box they will have a cross in the $consent?Thank you.

How you can avoid 2x opt-in email in the multi form?

Hey guys,  We have a custom form on the website and collecting both email and SMS there. Our main goal - do 2x opt in for SMS but 1x single opt in for emails.  Email is set to list A. This is a 1x opt in list.SMS is set to list B. This is a 2x opt in list.  So when you optin to both, you'll still receive two 2x optin requests coming from the 2nd (SMS) list.  And btw, the same way Klaviyo's multi-step form works. I am wondering if there's any way we can avoid sending the 2x optin email I this case as this is a bit too much when a customer receives 2 messages  (one for email and another one for SMS) . So we want just send an SMS, especially given SMS 2x opt in P.S. If we use the same list for email and SMS, we need to set it as 2x optin and when somebody enters both fields, they'll still receive 2 messages.  Thanks for any help!

Update a user’s preference via a link - not working

Hi, I am trying to use the following variable via a button in an email:{% preference_link 'customer_type' 'gen_cust' %}As described here: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408802648731-Guide-to-Template-Tags-and-Variable-Syntax-new-editor-#manage-preferences8When I send a test email and click the button, I am directed to my “update preferences” page, however, the custom property specified is not updated with the specified value Both ‘customer_type’ and ‘gen_cust’ are both properties that exist on my manage preference page. What am I doing wrong? If i use the variable {% update_property_link 'customer_type' 'gen_cust' 'www.hsconline.co.uk' %} in the button URL instead, then the property value on the profile is updated, however, I need the customer to end up on their update preferences page rather than my home page.What am I doing wrong with the {% preference_link 'customer_type' 'gen_cust' %} variable?Is there a way to use the {% update_property_link 'customer_type' 'gen_cust'

segment not filtering properly

We are trying to pull a segment based on due dates (we are a parenting and birthing education program), but the segment is not pulling properly. We have someone’s due date as last year but is pulling when we set the segment as those who are due in 34 weeks. how do we fix?

Wrong customers location

Hi,I’m having a problem with Klaviyo. Few weeks ago I connected Klaviyo to my Prestashop account but I realized that there is a problem with location in Klaviyo. I try to explain myself. When a person fills the registration form on my ecommerce has to give us some information (including the place where this person lives). Even if now Klaviyo and Prestashop are connected, Klaviyo doesn’t take the location from Prestashop, but from somewhere else. The problem is that sometimes the information Klaviyo takes is wrong. Since we send newsletters based on where people live it’s important that the locations are correct. Do you know how I can fix this issue?(I hope I’ve made myself clear. Segment Customers by Average Browse Value

We’re attempting to categorize our shoppers into buckets, such a discount shopper, high value customer, etc. Our Klaviyio implementation receives events via Segment, which is embedded in our custom ecommerce platform. We want to use our product_viewed event, which has a supporting price attribute, to accomplish this task. We’d like to keep a running average of price across each of these product viewed events per profile and then associate these averages with various buckets, as mentioned above. Are there any recommend ways of achieving this? We have about 2 million profiles we’re trying to keep up to date.We’ve considered running these calculations in our events database and running a script to update these averages as a custom attribute through the identify API, but the throughput is too low at 700 calls/min. By the time we update all our customers, that data is essentially out of date. We want more of a real-time view. Web feeds are too small to hold the data, it seems. So we have ru

Multiple Values for One Custom Properties

I recently collected data on a group of consumers. I have the data in an excel CSV. Two of the questions results in multiple answers (ie. favorite brands and favorite activities). Ideally I could create a custom property for “Brands” and “Activities” and they could have multiple values populated for each in their profile. I’m not seeing this as an option when uploading my contact data into Klaviyo.Any solutions to allow for multiple values in one custom property?

Newsletter List's subscribe page not working

Is this a glitch or does a list’s subscribe page work differently when someone enters an e-mail that’s already on the list?This is the “success page” for a new e-mail (above) and an existing e-mail (below):-- The preferences link (=line in red) is missing on the page that’s displayed for existing e-mails, which is weird when the text above it makes a reference to the link.Can anyone help? Subscribe customer in specific segment to a list via flow

Hi, I have a shopify markets account with multiple shops (URLs) under it. When someone checksout, they are automatically added to email marketing (unless they uncheck this themselves). Now I would like to add these customers to the general newsletter list (divided by country). As these are multiple lists, I cannot link this to one particular list via intergrations. I have already created segments so that everyone who accepts marketing is divided by country. Now I would like to create a flow where I indicate that when a customer accepts email marketing via the checkout, they are added to the general email list. Unfortunately, I cannot find this option when setting up a flow. Is there another way to automatically add these customers to the general list?  Thank you in advance!

Safari mobile blocking call to _learnq.push?

Hi everyone, On the client side, we have some code that creates Klaviyo profiles by using Klaviyo’s javascript library via the _learnq.push(['identify', {'$email' : 'xyz@xyz.com'}]) call.  When making the call on Chrome, everything works fine and a Klaviyo profile is created and _learnq.isIdentified() will now return true.  On Safari mobile however, no profile is created and _learnq.isIdentified() simply returns false.  Anyone else experiencing this and is this a known problem?

Hello,Thanks to the new API I can easily get and filter all profiles, but there is no information in response if a profile is suppressed. Is there any way to get suppressed profiles or check this?

I need to apply a tag to a group of customers

I have a segment of customers that I want to add a tag to. I have gone and applied the tag to the segment of customers, but the tag is not actually applied to each customer profile in the segment, just the segment itself.The reason for doing this is that I want to combine 5 different segments into one list but I want to tag each customer before they are joined so I can keep track of where they are from. What is the best way to do this? Using Klaviyo with a custom shop

I work for a jewelry company that sells both online and through sales representatives. Our website is custom built and doesn’t use Shopify or other online sales platforms. I have been using Klaviyo for almost 2 years and it feels like I am still in over my head and having to manually setup, clean and cultivate my customers. Does anyone have any tips or advice for those of us using Klaviyo and not using e-commerce platforms to sell?

Shopify Tags

We currently have so many variations of the same labeled tag, which is causing our Flow automation to fail to grab everyone we wish to receive those emails. Is there a way to manage your Shopify tags from Klaviyo? We want to consolidate and clean up these values, but I cannot find a place to do so in Klaviyo or Shopify.
