Shared Sending IP doubled sending volume, decreasing reputation score

I’ve been noticing that we’ve had an increase in bounces on comcast and yahoo emails over the past 2 months. A recent campaign bounced back over 300 comcast emails so I dug deeper. The sending IP can be tied back to other issues I’ve seen: 168.245.121.105 I used Comcast postmaster tools which drove me to Sender Score. Compared to the other IPs our domain sending has been attributed to, this one had a score of 6 and appears that something happened in April:Send volume more than doubled for this IP. Is there a spam attack? Could Klaviyo have moved a large amount of brands to this one IP on accident or something? Anyone else having issues as well?

Help with scenario that is not working as expected

I have a form on my website allowing users to share their email address to be emailed a free guide.To do this I am using make.com and I have set up a webhook in the form allowing the email address to be passed into the scenario. I can confirm that part is working fine.The problem I am facing is that if a users email address (mine for example) already exists it can’t create a new profile, which I understand. To combat this, I added a ‘List profiles’ step to pull all users, then a router so that if the email address already exists, add them to the list so that they get the email from a flow in Klaviyo, or alternatively create them a profile. I can’t seem to get the filter “if already exists’ correct.Has anyone had a situation like this before? I feel this is a really straight forward task that is proving a nightmare. It’s worth noting, if there is any easier way to do this, please do share as I would rather do this right than make my method work if it isn’t best practice. Any help would

Sent campaign, zero delivery rate

Hi all, I’m completely stumped so I hope that you can help. On Friday I sent a campaign to a list and it says “sent” but nobody received it. Not like emails were skipped, like none. Zero.This morning I cloned the email and sent it, exactly as I did, and it was delivered. Yikes!What could have happened? Is this my fault? Or Klaviyo? How do I make sure this never happens again?Photo attached of the first email that had zero sends and the second that sent correctly. I didn’t do anything differently on my end that I’m aware of. Thanks for your input, Gillian

Coupon Assigned after customer purchased.

Hello! I was tracking a customer journey and i noticed that the “Coupon Assigned” trigger was sent a whole 2 hours after they completed the sign-up form. Causing them to cancel an order.  I’m wondering why the coupon would be assigned so late? Here are some images showing the timeline.  They subscribed to the promo pop-up at 7:24 pm  then the coupon was assigned at 9:39 pm

Klaviyo Custom properties

I am using shopify and Make (instead of Zapier) to write a custom property called MakeOrderCount. The property has number of orders placed by a customer so far. Apparently Klaviyo does not have this information to use in an email.It works all ok and I do get custom properties populated to each profile. The problem is when I am using them in a logic, it does not work. The code is: {% if person|lookup:'MakeOrderCount' > 199 %}You are at Level 10, which means you are one of our most loyal customers, someone who has created the most social impact of any customer group. Customize columns in Profiles dashboard

This may be more of a feature request than an inquiry...I would like to adjust the columns displayed on the Profiles page. We use a number of custom properties which would be helpful to reference. I occasionally search for email addresses to verify if they have a profile in our Klaviyo account. If they do, it would be nice to quickly identify properties like subscription status, last page viewed, etc. without having to click into the profile, scroll through default properties, or click/search among custom properties. This customization is available in competitors’ products, so it would be nice to see Klaviyo catch up.

Coupon Filter Suggestion

Just a suggestion that would help a lot for ecommerce businesses - when selecting a coupon we just have three optionsAll orderSelect productsSelect collectionsIt would be really helpful being able to select all products BUT have the opportunity to manually exclude a few. We usually want to exclude 3 products where the discount from welcome/birthday flows would lose money. Having to manually select them can be an issue, as creating a collection without those products in shopify would need to be monitored and it’s nice being able to do everything within Klaviyo.

re-enabling a subscriber pop-up

I set up a pop up to test a new form - https://www.threecitiessocial.com/404 - and i used my work email to test. the test worked and the info flowed into Klaviyo. I have the form set to ‘show everyone’. Now i want to test the form again (without having to se multiple email addresses) and went into klaviyo and removed my subscribed work email but when i go to https://www.threecitiessocial.com/404 i can’t get the form to show. Is there a way to have the form show?

Initial source tracking pre-cookie

Does Klaviyo only track “How they found you” data for people that have been previously cookied?Here’s my use case and breakdown (Shopify):1st-time visitor lands on my home page (or any page) from a Pinterest ad that sends UTM data to my site. Visitor makes a purchase Shopify picks up the UTM data and reports it properly in the Conversion Summary Klaviyo reports no data at all for source, UTM, etc.I want to be able to create a segment with profiles that were sourced through Pinterest.How can I do this?

Email and SMS pop ups

I have created email and SMS popups through Klaviyo for my Shopify store. The popups work like they are suppose to on mobile devices but they are not working on laptops. I have gone back and checked all the forms and can’t find any issues as to why they are popping up on my laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Phone numbers with Facebook and Google Integration

We have many customers (over 90k) for which we only have name and phone number and I’d like to set up the integration with Google and Facebook to serve these audiences. Has anyone been able to do this with phone numbers and not email? There is an encrypted email address that we have, but we DON”T want the ads platforms to build an audience on these emails, rather to ignore them and use the phone number instead. Any ideas?

API - How to get a list of profiles (Email addresses) that were removed from a list

Previously I was using the API endpoint https://a.klaviyo.com/api/v1/metric/MyListId/timeline and querying this with the since=timestamp and sort=asc and able to get a list of events that I could filter by "event_name": "Unsubscribed from List". With the new API, the replacement endpoint seems to be https://a.klaviyo.com/api/events but I can’t figure out how to get the same list of events.I tried something like this: https://a.klaviyo.com/api/events?sort=datetime&filter=equals(metric_id,%22MyListId%22)&filter=greater-or-equal(datetime,2024-04-12T02:33:00Z)But I am getting a lot more events and not able to identify what the “unsubscribe from list” events are in this endpoint. Is it possible with the /events endpoint? and if not, what other endpoint can I use to get a list of email addresses that had the "event_name": "Unsubscribed from List” since a specific timestamp?

POST API command using Alteryx

Hi! I'm trying to use Alteryx to run the Create or Update Profile command to post updated attributes in Klaviyo. I keep getting "An object with data is required" error, even though I have data selected in the payload. I think my syntax is incorrect but I'm not sure how to fix this. Below are screen shots of the POST command to update the organization for a profile.

Should an email campgain be resent to the entire list?

A division of my company would like to resend an email to the entire list that received it two weeks ago. Is there any potential fallout from this, as far as inbox providers and spam? Would it help to tweak the title and messaging, even if the bulk of the email itself remains the same?

Seeking Advice on Managing WooCommerce and Mailchimp Subscribers

My website is integrated with WooCommerce, and we have a large number of profiles from WooCommerce. However, these profiles have never subscribed to us because our website didn't previously ask for subscription consent.We also have subscriptions through Mailchimp. combining WooCommerce profiles with MailChimp profiles, the total would be over eight thousand individuals. However, the number of subscribers in Mailchimp is only four thousand. This means we can only perform email marketing for these four thousand subscribers.Before we pay for all eight thousand profiles, I'd like to know if there's any way to avoid paying for the additional four thousand subscribers. (I've searched, but couldn't find the right article for this...)

Hi folks,I would like to ask my customers for ratings for trusted stores.However, I wonder how I can check this?If I send the mail within the flow and tell the customer that they will receive 10% off their next order if they leave a review, then I wonder how I can check this. Did you manage to translate the Klaviyo Review widget?

Hi! I know that we can’t manage more than one language within Klaviyo, but did some of you manage to translate the Klaviyo Reviews widgets via a Shopify translation app like Langify or Translate & Adapt? My client can’t translate it with his app named ETranslate, and I wonder if it’s just an issue with this app or if every translation app isn’t able to translate the widget. Thank you so much!

Shopify template - table formatting issue

I customized one of the Klaviyo provided shopify notification templates and exported it to Shopify. The email looks great however, on one of our devices, we are noticing the table in the footer is wider than the rest of the email. I want to update this so it’s fixed width 600px. Klaviyo support told me I would have to update the coding but I’m unsure exactly where I would do that. Could anyone help if I provide the HTML?

Accessing Cookie or Identifying Tracked User

I’m working on a custom integration for our app, where we would want to query klaviyo to get a profile ID from the cookie or session somehow. Meaning, what I’m trying to do is be able to retrieve a profile ID from the cookie or something so i can map it back to a call for the full profile etc. Is this somehow possible? Can’t seem to find the api docs or guide on how we would be able to identify a klaviyo profile/tracked user on the merchant site while the site is loading/page loaded etc.

elevated 403 forbidden errors in the API

Hello,we are seeing in the last couple of hours sporadic errors coming from klaviyo get events API, mostly returning 403 status codes. it’s sometimes works, and sometimes returns 403 error... we couldn’t find anything in the status page but wanted to check if there’s anything we can do about it ?for what it’s worth we’re using the python sdk version 2.0.0any help would be appreciated

Dynamic Tags For Product Review

I’m making a review invitation email in HTML . I want to custom code a  “write a review” button. What is the dynamic tag that generates the URL to the product’s klaviyo review submission page? I would prefer this to a simple anchor point address that directs users to the product page review widget. I have also included Name of Customer {{ event.extra.customer.first_name|default:'' }}Name of product  {{ event.Items.0|default:'' }}Product variant {{ event.extra.line_items.0.product.variant.options.Volume|default:'' }}Like to product {{ organization.url|trim_slash }}/products/{{ item.product.handle }}I hope these are correct at least!I understand that only one item will be included in the review invitation even if the order was a multi item purchase. I am using a shopify integration.

Can't send my campaign 'Possible Email Content Issues'

Hi,When I review my email it alerts me that there is a possible content issue. The message says “We found 1 blocks in your email that either still have the default text unmodified or are blank. Please review your email before continuing.”I have checked all blocks and can’t seem to find anything missing, I added alt text to everything. Why is it giving me this alert?I have checked some of my other campaigns that don’t have the same alert and can’t figure out what’s going on.Please advise!Thank you
