Opens by Device

Where can I see a report for the channel opens by device? Desktop vs mobile vs tablet for the whole channel, not message by message. Is there a dashboard for that? I made a custom report for client family os but it seems like there should be an easier way to view it for the whole channel.

viewed product event not working for shopify pages vs product details pages

We have an issue with the Viewed Product event for the Browse Abandonment flow - it doesn’t seem to work. Does anyone know if Klaviyo supports Shopify Pages, not the Product Detail Pages for the VIewed Product event? Is klaviyo not set up to treat Shopify Pages (not PDPs) visits as triggers for this flow?And how can I maybe manually set up the event on the Shopify pages if it is possible at all. Please help!

Email Received AND Bounced

I have a profile that shows the last several emails we sent were received, and that those same emails bounced (soft – mailbox unavailable/full). Most show the bounce with the same timestamp as received, but the most recent send shows the bounce several hours after it was received. I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this, and if there is a way to know which metric is true – my guess is that the emails bounced. Also, I’m guessing the 7 soft bounce rule that suppresses a profile will not apply in this case, since it looks as though emails were received in between the bounces – correct? Screenshot showing the same emails being received and bouncing Screenshot showing details of bounced email

Reincluding Freenet to your mailing-list

Hey guys, back when we set up our klaviyo account we had to exclude t-online and freenet from our mailing list as no mails arrived. I just checked yesterday whats the exact issue with those emails and noticed we can now send to freenet without any problem. Some messages were sent to those and arrived regularry. We set up SPF/DKIM last summer. Could it be that this fixed the issue with sending to freenet and do you think it’s alright to reinclude those mails to our mailing-segments? Also we use a branded sending domain. :)Was there a known issue with sending to freenet? Can we include these again? Thanks in advance! Kind regards,Amina

Mimecast deliverability

We’re having problems getting out emails to consistently and successfully deliver to Mimecast. Have read on article that suggests to remove open and click tracking as mimecast doesn’t like that, not ideal, but wondering if it’s worth trying to build up successful deliveries and then turn tracking back on when we have built up successful delivery.If we turn tracking off - is that for all campaigns or can it be done campaign specific?Any other suggestions to try?

Klaviyo is summing up two different currencies without converting them. Total revenue is getting messed up everywhere.

On our website, we offer two currency options: 'CAD' and 'USD'. I recently examined one of our campaigns where the "Placed Order (aka Total Revenue)" amounts to $400. This amount is actually the sum of two recipients' purchases—one from the USA and the other from Canada. These recipients made purchases totaling USD 140 and CAD 260. Klaviyo is not performing any currency conversion before adding these two different currencies amounts to show as "Placed Order (aka Total Revenue)" of the campaign. It's simply adding two different currencies together. And also displaying it as $XXX.XX for each campaign which is not right because the "$" sign means USD but it's actually the sum of two different currencies.In Klaviyo, when the "Placed order" WooCommerce event occurs, Klaviyo is capturing two different currencies on events (as per geos). Klaviyo is not performing any currency conversion, nor does it convert currencies when displaying the total "Revenue" of the campaigns.This leads me to a que

Is it advisable to reach out to bounced subscribers?

I’m new(ish) to Klaviyo - I’ve sent three broadcasts/campaigns and I’m shocked by the amount of bounced emails. All are soft bounces with the error: 554 5.7.0 Blocked Thing is...I’ve looked at the list of subscribers and I know for a fact that there are over 30 on there that would want to hear from me.Is it advisable to reach out to them using a different way?  What to do about this?Any help / advice would be appreciated.Many thanksTanya

Add to Cart metric not picking up button

Hello!I’m trying to set up the Add to Cart metric in Shopify so that we can trigger abandonment emails earlier than the standard Abandoned Checkout metric. I followed the instructions, but nothing has worked (including the backup code snippets). I think I’ve identified the problem - our “add to cart” buttons don’t follow the typical formats laid out in the article. Rather than using a standard ID or Class notation, the code looks like this. <button data-product-id="8396610928919" data-checkout="cart" data-soldout="Sold out" data-adding="Adding..." data-added="Thank you!" data-checkout-link="https://www.futurefans.com/pages/shopping" name="add" type="button" tabindex="0" spellcheck="false" data-pf-type="ProductATC2" class="sc-ddnlvQ fgflow pf-13_">Add to cart</button>We have a few “add to cart” buttons throughout the site, and they all differ slightly on the “class” portion (even for the same product). Any tips on how to adjust or place the standard code differently? understanding metric usage

Hi! Wondering if there’s a way to pull a report of all of the metrics in our account based on usage. I know we mainly use a handful of metrics and the rest are occasionally used or likely never used and just sitting in our account. We’re nearing our limit and I’d like to get rid of the metrics we don’t use but I don’t want to make a guess or go on a needle in a haystack hunt to find those. Is it possible to pull a metrics report and see what is unused?

metric-aggregates returns zero opened for all of 2023?

I’m trying to fetch the different metrics on klaviyo. I get 0 for Recieved, Opened ...etc I do get numbers for unsbscribed. I tried count, sum_value, and unique. none of which returned anything but zeros for all of 2023. obviously emails were sent and opened and recieved throughout the year…what might I be doing wrong?

Emails not sending

HelloI setup emails flows a few months back and left them inactive for a while. As I turned them back on, I realized that no emails are sending at all. It also seems that I cannot send preview emails AND that the emails entered in my forms aren’t entering my lists I get the following message when trying to send any preview email: “Could not send preview email.There was an error sending the preview. Please try again or contact support.Dismiss”Any ideas what the problem might be?

Churn Risk Prediction Score - Trigger for Flows and/or Segment Customer Attribute

Confirmed subscribers reporting spam

HiHow do I try and deter confirmed, engaged, double-opted-in subscribers from reporting spam? We do not send a high volume of newsletters, and we have a very tightly managed, very clean list of only double-opted-in confirmed subscribers. Subscribers are very engaged and yet, nearly every campaign someone reports a spam, even though - when I look them up - I see that they have opened all our emails since subscribing. Really annoying - how can people be educated that spam complaint rates damage our reputation?! Why do they not realise that just because they don’t want to subscribe any more is not a spam reason?!Thanks

Upcoming Google & Yahoo Deliverability Changes: Authentication & One-Click Unsubscribe

Hi all, Google and yahoo are going to make some deliverability changes. More info here https://blogs.oracle.com/marketingcloud/post/new-gmail-yahoo-deliverability-requirements One of these changes is that a one-click unsubscribe will be needed if you send more than 5000 emails to Gmail users per campaign. Does anyone know if this means that we will need a one-click unsubscribe on all transactional emails or only promotional emails? If transactional emails are affected, will this mean pure transactional emails like “password-reset” will need it as well? And will a one-click unsubscribe on the bottom of the email template suffice or is the “unsubscribe” link next to the subject line needed? Thanks

Identifying Our List's Churn Rate?

Hi!How do we find the analytics/data that shows when (i.e., how long after signing up) subscribers are unsubscribing from our list? We’d like to get a better handle of our email list’s retention/churn rates.Then we’d like to look into similar figures, such as the average time that someone is a subscriber to our various lists/segments.So -- How long are they with us? and At what point do they tend to drop off? Those are the kinds of questions we’re asking. Where can I gather those kinds of statistics?Thanks!

From time to time, we have quite significant spikes in spam rates on Google Postmaster, so we were wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to identify the sources these are coming from? If you know any third party platforms to check this our, please share them as well.

Klaviyo not registering Gmail spam complaints?

Hello everyone, I was just going thru our deliverability reports trying to make sure that our metrics are within the requirements that Gmail will start enforcing on February 1st. And it struck me as odd that on our last campaign, which had around 15,000 recipient on Gmail, we did not get a single spam complaint. In Google Postmaster, however, our spam rate for this campaign was a whopping 0.9% (Roughly 8x our usual spam complaint rate) I tried looking thru the Klaviyo documentation but could not find any mention of Gmail spam complaints not being registered within Klaviyo. Is this a known issue? Thank you!

Which domain should I use to set up Postmaster Tools?

With Google and Yahoo's email sender requirements coming up, I would like to set up and use Google’s Postmaster Tools: https://postmaster.google.com/managedomainsWhen setting this up, I’m confused which domain to enter for this question: “What domain do you use to authenticate your email?”Should I use “www.mywebsite.com” or should it be my sending domain (that can be found in Klaviyo) “send.mywebsite.com”?

Hello! So I have two companies that I send email out from1. SSRP & 2. Redox Medical Group when I send emails out for Redox Medical Group, it shows“info@redoxmedicalgroup.com via ssrpinstitute.org” How do i get rid of the “via ssrpinstitute.org”
