Is there a way to have a pop up appear only one time during a site visit?

I would like to a pop-up to appear when someone first comes to our website, but then once they close the pop-up, not have it appear again.  I have not been able to figure out how to do that, as it keeps popping up when they change pages, for example. I do not want to limit the pop-up to only certain urls, because we use several landing pages.  So can a pop-up appear one time, no matter where someone lands, and then once they close it, does not appear again? Thank you.

How can I be upgraded to the owner of an account from a prior user permission?

Hi Klaviyo Community, This is a weird one and I’m hoping someone can help me.  Many years ago I helped a brand optimize the copywriting of their e-mails and was invited to the brands paid Klaviyo account.  I signed up with my e-mail address and all worked super well.  I then forgot I had opened that account and last year opened a Klaviyo account with my business domain.  I want to make use of the 1st Klaviyo account for another business. So I did the normal, forgot password and reset it successfully. I then returned to the log in screen and accessed my original account but I have very limited access. I can see that my user permission is set to “content creator” but I’m the owner of this account too as it’s linked to my e-mail address. The first name on the account is mine but the name of the account is the friends account I was originally invited too.  Could anyone help me understand how to get owner access on an account that belongs to me? Thanks if you got this far!

Don't want to stack products on mobile - email is too wide

Hi,I don’t want to stack my product images on my mobile email. I want them to be displayed side by side but optimised for mobile. Currently if I don’t stack my products, the email is displayed so wide on my mobile that I have to scroll right to read.Why is this happening?

How to cancel a suspended Klaviyo account?

I purchased Klaviyo basic plan in January, used it to its full extent. The results weren’t promising for me so i stopped using it but forgot to cancel. It charged in Feb, which isn’t a problem for me. Now it is trying to charge my card again in March. I had absolutely forgot about klaviyo during this period. I came to know when my card transaction was declined. So now my account is suspended, and i can’t find the option to cancel my account. This is supposed to be a prepaid service. If i am not using it in March and let me cancel it pls. Email & chat support is disabled and there is no call numbers available. So there is absolutely no way for me to approach Klaviyo team to resolve the issue. Please help. Thanks

Warming process advise

Hey! I’ve got a question on the process of warming up when migrating from another ESP. I understand the whole process of incrementally increasing the amount of people you send to over a month, starting from your most engaged segment, but my question is on flows. Does the warming process only include sending campaigns or can I set up basic flows like welcome, customer thank you and abandoned cart from the get-go while running the warmup campaigns?

Shopify 'if' tag was never closed code error with shipping confirmation email

Why am i getting a syntax error when uploading my Klaviyo order confirmation template into Shopify?

Hello- I am using the shopify template for order confirmation VERBATIM except for a different image. No matter what I do, I get a “syntax error” problem and I cannot identify what the part of the syntax it is. Please help.

How do you filter recharge subscibers from post purchase flow?

I’m setting up a post purchase flow and want to add individual message filters for emails that should only go to people who are not yet subscribers.The company I’m setting this up for uses recharge for their subscriptions.Here’s how I currently have the additional flow filters setup: Has Placed Order zero times over all time where tags contains Subscription.Will this work for people who have started the post purchase flow but are not yet subscribers?

Issue with Abandon Cart Flow

When creating an abandon cart flow, the button that is supposed to bring the customer back to checkout is not returning to the checkout page showing the url from my Shopify domain rather than thorum.comLooking back in some test emails I sent myself, sometimes the link works properly and sometimes not. What can I do to fix this?

Can we please store SMS consent in non-supported regions?

Use case: in a non-Klaviyo supported SMS regions, I have an SMS app that stores consent and can receive profile data from Klaviyo (although not the other way around). I use Justuno to collect the email (which goes into Klaviyo), and the SMS (which goes into SMSBump). Q: can we please update Klayio’s interface so that we can store mobile numbers, SMS consent and list subscriptions in non-supported regions. Even though we can’t send the SMS from Klaviyo. Not having this makes for a very disjointed experience and lots of data-wrangling to make profiles match in both the SMS platform and Klaviyo.

Question on "viewed product" "active on site" in the metrics

Hi,I am curious on how you guys define “active on site” and “viewed product”. Because in my cohort analysis, the number seem to be much lower consider the amount of traffic the site is getting.For example, if a user come to my site the first time and entered his email and continued browsing products, does klaviyo count that as 1 “viewed product” and 1 “active on site”? or does this user has to come to site again, and until then klaviyo will track that metrics?Can someone explain exactly how this works? THX

Is there a way to switch between Klaviyo accounts using a specific URL?

Hi. I have multiple client accounts I administer. And using the Klaviyo admin interface it’s easy to switch between them.BUT… my workflow is within ClickUp, where I manage the campaign calendar for each client.(BTW answering this question doesn’t require knowing anything about ClickUp).For this workflow to stay within the confines of ClickUp, and avoid flipping between applications, I am needing to embed the Klaviyo campaigns page for the client I am currently working with.Embedding the page itself works fine in ClickUp — no problem.EXCEPT… the Klaviyo admin interface “remembers” what client account is currently selected.This means, when I switch to a different client in ClickUp, the last client account I worked with is shown in the embedded campaign page view.This’ll lead to some disaster before too long. And doesn’t help with the flipping between apps thing I’m trying to avoid because I still have to flip over in Klaviyo to the account that I’m wanting to set up campaigns for.What I’

Dynamically append subscribers email address to URL so form can be pre-filled

As part of an email flow, I want to send subscribers to a landing page so we can ask questions and gather feedback. I want to dynamically append their email address to the URL so that I can use this to pre-fill the form with their email, ensuring data is captured against the correct subscriber in Klaviyo. e.g. button link = {% update_property_link 'volunteering_still_interested' 'still_interested' 'https:example.com/survey?email={{ email }}' %}

Multi-metric custom reports for subscribers

I am needing some help with  Custom Report. I have report the following Metrics; 1.Subscribed to List2.Unsubscribed3.Subscibed to Back in Stock 4.Marked as Spam5.Updated Preferences6.Email Clicked7.Email Sent It appears that profiled that add their email to pop up form whilst already sudscribed how can I adjust the metric so that it only counts new subscribes.( It would also be interested to know which metrics you include in your reports?) Thanks Sean

Flow Open Rates Drop 20% in 1 Month

Our flow open rates dropped from 55% to 36% January to February. Unsubscribe, spam and bounce rates are all rated good/excellent in the past couple of months, so reputation hasn’t been affected by an increase in these. I have however been running multiple A/B tests on the core flows to try increase open rates (Welcome, Cart & Checkout Abandon, Browse Abandon, New & Repeat Customer). I’m wondering if running all these tests at the same time has had a negative impact on deliverability which has led to this huge drop in open rates? It should be noted that campaign open rates remain healthy at around 50% while sending to a 30 day engaged audience of over 200,000 profiles, 2-3 times per week. So I’m confused how the deliverability of campaigns looks so good but flows have had this sudden fall. Does anyone have any ideas in the sudden drop in flow open rates/ anyone seen something similar? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Problem sending emails, account cancelled?

Hi, I trialled an SMS subscription and cancelled it after 1 month. But now I can’t send any emails… it says my account is cancelled. When I update my plans, it says I’m already subscribed to the free email plan. However it won’t let me send any emails despite having many credits. Can you assist?

Account Has Been Canceled

Hello,I have taken over running the company's Klaviyo account. The first thing I noticed is a fun red rectangle saying “Your account is canceled.” We currently don’t have enough active emails to need a paid plan and because of that, I can’t find a way to contact support. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a way to contact support or reactivate my account so I can get it up and running again?Thank you

Hi, I need some clarification on this topic. Do I understand correctly, that Product Feed containing products, that customer recently viewed is working in Flows only? And there is no possibility to show recently viewed products in campaigns?

Best practice for Sunset Flow

Hello everyone, I would really appreciate if you could share how you setup your Sunset Flow. I have started my list in 2014 in MailChimp and moved from MailChimp to Klaviyo about a year ago.I have never ever cleaned my list. I know it sounds terrible   My list size now is ~10.000 and I managed to score 25% open rates when I send to the entire list. I try to send weekly. I had the goal of spending one year using Klaviyo and then clearing my list. This was mainly because I wanted everyone on the list to receive Black Friday emails. So I created Sunset flow.I spend much time reading how to do it best, but in fact, I still don’t know the best solution.Sorry for the long prehistory.I created my Sunset flow using the standard flow. I included profiles in the segment who were inactive for 365 days. They receive 2 emails. The second email is sent after a week. And then, after another 5 days, the profile is marked as ‘suppress’.The second email has two options. The first option - standard Klavi

How do I get a segment of customers who have spent over a certain amount in the last X days?

I am looking to create a segment of customers who have spent $1000 within the last 180 days. However, as we offer subscriptions, many of our subscribers have already spent $1000 on our website within this timeframe.Can I create a tag to exclude these subscribers from the segment? Is this possible? Do you have any better ideas?Thank you."

Item Specific Post Purchase Flow - Best Practice

Hi all, I’m looking for some advice on how to best set up a post purchase flow without overlap. We are looking to build out post purchase instructional emails relating to individual products, that will provide all the learning videos & walkthroughs pertaining to that particular product. However, since we will have at least 20 of these individual emails (to start), I was wondering what would be the best way to build out these flows with minimal overlap?Each item is unique enough that the guides & walkthroughs don’t overlap, and I will be using the product title to send these specific guides post purchase.Should I set up a single post purchase flow and have it branch out by item purchased, and have all 20+ emails in the single flow? Or would that be too complicated? Is it better to just create a new flow for each guide / product and turn on smart sending? I don’t want to scare off potential customers by sending too many emails, and want them to get the most relevant email for pos

Abandoned Cart (template) - Filter Question

Hi everyone.I have a very basic question. What is the purpose of the following filter in the flow preset:what someone has done - started checkout zero times - since starting this flowIt seems a little strange adding this filter rule after a trigger: Started checkout. I am wondering what would happen if I were to leave out this “started checkout zero times filter”. Any explanation with potential scenario would be helpfull.Also: does the filter: placed order zero times since starting this flow remove people from the flow if they decide to purchase at any point during the flow? Best regards and appreciate your thoughts.

We have a very good customer who’s email has been flagged as suspicious email so has continued to be skipped since March. How do I clear the “suspicious email” tag on her profile?? She isn’t receiving anything from us including abandoned cart and thank you emails.
