Delay flow using date variable from custom event

I'm pretty new to Klaviyo. I do like most of the product so far, but there is one thing I really miss. It would be really useful to be able to delay a flow, using a date variable from the event.  Sample use case: The current date is 10th of July. A client books a birthday party for 15h of August at our website. A custom booking event is triggered and send to Klaviyo. This triggers a flow to directly send out an email, including the details of the party and some directions. Then two days prior to the party, I'd like to send out an email with a reminder and some questions related to the party. This should be based on the date of the party, which is in the custom booking event. I don't think this is the only use case. Everything regarding courses (course dates), events, hotels, etc would probably benefit from this option. And it's not rocket science ;) So, where can I do a formal feature request?

Show/hide logic not working

Hi, I’m trying to use show/hide logic with an abandoned cart sequence, as for a certain SKU the price is displaying as zero, so I’d like to hide the price when the added item event data is for this SKU. Whatever logic I enter it doesn’t seem to be working. I’ve tried:person|lookup:'event.AddedItemProductID' != '10495' not person|lookup:'event.AddedItemProductID' == '10495' person|lookup:'event.AddedItemProductID' == '10495' not person|lookup:'event.AddedItemSKU' == '114e' person|lookup:'event.AddedItemSKU' == '114e'  Am I doing something obviously wrong?  Thanks.

How to collect names and email addresses from SMS-only profiles?

We have many SMS-only profiles on our SMS list. We would like for them to have names and emails so we can reach out to them if they win one of our contests.  I first thought of doing this with a text-response survey that fills in these profile fields one at a time. But it looks like there’s no way to use an event variable as a profile property. Also, the sequencing would be difficult, as the “sent text” event trigger does not seem to be able to filter based on what text they replied to.  Then I thought of sending them a manage preferences link, where they can type in their name and email in some form fields. But the {% manage_preferences_link %} does not work in SMS.  So how can this be done?

Why are my abandoned cart sequences not sending?

Hello, I have made my abandoned cart sequences “live” and I have tested this by adding something to my cart, going to the checkout page and putting in my email and shipping address, then once I get to the payment page of the checkout process, I leave. I have yet to get an abandoned cart email and I have tried this several several times. I have also read a bunch of different articles and watched videos too. It’s still not sending to my email.. can someone please help me? thank you!

BigCommerce product catalog (re)sync issue

I reported this problem back in June of 2021. In Sept 2021 and Dec 2022 I reported it again and was told it was being escalated or that the engineering team was “aware of it”. Each time I was told someone would get back to me and no one ever did. Nothing seems to be happening with it. I’m hoping someone here has found a workaround.I’m using the Klaviyo back-in-stock notifier with BigCommerce.  In a nutshell, Klaviyo reads BC product info *once* when you first create the product and never again.Add a product with no variants and give it SKU “tshirt”.  Klaviyo reads it and all is well.  If you then add variants with new SKUS (“tshirt-red”, t-shirt-blue”), klaviyo does not see those updates, and the “notify me when back in stock” button appears on the product pages even thought the products have qty in stock.The problem is that there’s no way to force Klaviyo to re-sync the product info.  The Shopify integration does have this functionality so I don’t understand why the BC integration doe

Active On Site (and following) events not working – Shopify App Embed Integration

Hi, we’ve been successfully using the the Klaviyo App embed integration in our Shopify and were able to receive Active On Site, Viewed Product and Added to Cart events. Recently we changed our Theme to Broadcast and when I failed to implement the “back in stock” event + flow I realized that none of the Active on site events etc. are being received by Klavyio. I double-checkend the integration via the app embed, tried manual installation of the code snippet and lastly also the integration via Google Tag Manager. The snippet shows up in the source code but now events are coming trough. At last I removed all manual snippets, tags etc., removed the Shopify/Klaviyo integration and reconnected – no success, same effect! I searched a lot in the community but didn’t find a solution. And then also the back in stock code snippet fails and causes error messages

Do members of a segment get removed from a flow after they no longer meet the segment criteria?

To elaborate: this segment targets people who have bought within five days ago, however the flow can run for 26 days at maximum. Will they stay in the flow if they’ve started down the initial path despite no longer having been a 5 day customer? Or will they be removed from the flow immediately after surpassing five days?

How can I populate a Klaviyo form with a customer's first name on Shopify?

When receiving the confirmation email and accepting to receive emails, subscribers are redirected to a hidden page inside a Shopify store where every product has a discounted price. When entering that hidden page, they get a pop up (from Klaviyo) that says:“{{ first_name }}, here is a small gift” In order to get that to show the users’ name, I should send the first name field from Klaviyo to Shopfiy by dynamically appending it to the URL. How can I do that?

Auto email flow based on sign up form id

Hi,I have an embedded form that will promote a lead magnet.I want them to go into an existing list and receive the standard welcome flow that is already set up AND I want a separate single email flow to ‘deliver’ the lead magnet.I think I can do this based on them being new to the list and an additional filter on consent_form_id. However, the id of the form I’ve created isn’t showing up?The form is live, just not displayed anywhere yet. How can I fix the flow filter?

Popup Ad - Font wrong on website

Abandoned Cart Flows for Customers Using a Different Email From Their Profile

There is a big problem with Klaviyo abandoned cart flow. If a customer is using a different email than on their Klaviyo’s profile to checkout, they will continue receiving the abandoned cart emails even if they made a purchase. Meaning that they will see a discount very soon after they made a purchase without being able to act on it. Nobody likes to buy something and then see they could have got it for less. It’s very common to use a different email address and people usually have more than one.What can be done? Apart from identifying customers by email only, the IP and postcode should be also used to try to avoid a duplicated profiles. If someone is about to get an abandoned cart email and there is a suspected duplicated profile, this email should be paused until you manually decide if this is a duplicated profile or not.It will be good to hear if you have the same issue as well.

Dedicated Link Tracking / False setting, Support not responding

Hi there,last week Monday I wanted to set up Dedicated Click Tracking according this article: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001550572-Setting-Up-Dedicated-Click-TrackingAfter adding the described setting I contacted the support. On Thursday I got confirmation that the  records will be activated PLUS the information that SSL is enable – but nothing has been prepared for SSL on our end and unfortunately the instructions here: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052205052 do not give a solution because none of the three methods apply to us.This leads to the problem that our links in the mailings currently don’t work and we cannot send any emails.Since Thursday I haven’t received any response on my support requests and follow-ups – including my requests to roll back on the whole Dedicated Click Tracking to be able to use the services again!Long story short, as I fail to receive feedback from the support I hope someone of the Klaviyo team here can help me out so th

Hey everyone, I am looking to create Show/Hide Logic based on Shopify tags.This will be used to send products in the right size to customers.e.g.  If someone has the Shopify tag XL, the show/hide logic I would think is person.Shopifytags="XL", but this doesn’t work.Does anyone know if this is possible? Any help would be massively appreciated!Thanks,Henry

how can i avoid the spam folder being a new business?

Hello! I’m starting email for a new business and when putting the welcome flow LIVE I noticed that the emails are going to spam. I don’t think i’s a “bad reputation” issue because it’s a new account. I guess i want to know if this is happening to anyone else and how can i be fixed?

Where To See What Segments Are Being Used

I am cleaning up our segments/lists and deleting older segments/lists that are no longer relevant, but I don’t want to accidentally delete anything that is integral to one of our live flows.I understand that in the list view, you can choose a list and select “view campaigns” to see what campaigns this list has been part of, but is there a way to do the same to view what flows segments/lists are part of?

Spam issues

When a contact responds to an email with a SPAM statement, does Klaviyo automatically assign that person to an exclusion list so they won't get future emails and hence reduce my SPAM rate, or do I have to do that manually or ????Many thanks

Signing up a user to a given list using front end method

Hi,I’m working on a custom integration and I’m unable to access site backend. The integration works fine and I was able to get it working accept for adding a user to a list. I’m not using a Klaviyo form as this is a part of the checkout process where a user can sign up for newsletter.Is it doable from the front-end? Could you share a method for it? Thanks in advance.

Shopify 'if' tag was never closed code error with shipping confirmation email

Pop-Up & SMS Issues

Hi All, I have an issue and if anyone can assist me, I’d be very grateful. I’ll try to break them down as simply and as clearly as possible.I have a Multi-Step sign up form (1st step Email & 2nd step mobile numbers for SMS). This multi-step form should add email subscribers to my ‘Newsletter Subscribers’ list, and SMS subscribers to the ‘SMS Subscribers’ list. Once on these lists, my welcome series for each (email & SMS) should start.Currently neither flows start and only the SMS Subscribers show as being ‘subscribed’. All other profiles appear as ‘Never Subscribed’ (see screenshot below). Even though this clearly shows as SMS - Subscribed, my SMS flow doesn’t start.Any suggestions how to fix either of these issues will be really appreciated. RegardsJames

Order Product Value Not Working

In mid December i notice that the metric “Order product value” suddenly stopped tracking purchases and now only shows $0.00We use Magento 2 - is there any way to check and see if this metric has somehow dropped off or troubleshoot for a error?

Hi, I am trying to build some reporting using the new API. First one I am trying to pull is Bounced Email metric, split by Bounce Type.
