Are there any common reasons people have errors with email pop up forms? I have gone over everything multiple times and I have the correct submit form and close form buttons and the app is correctly embedded into my Shopify store. I tried it myself and it crashed around the discount section. Is there anything special that needs to be set up there? I can see the Klaviyo discount in Shopify.
We currently get time of purchase in UTC, but not the time zone of the shopper that makes a purchase. Are we able to get the time zone of the user that receives an email + time zone of the user when they make a purchase?
I’ve never had this problem until about two weeks ago. My hex colors are COMPLETELY off. I use the code from PS, double check on InDesign & Illustrator, then when I move to the web the code is the same but the color is off in my email builder. It works just fine on other online editing spaces. Did you change up your color profile to something new?
Hi, The update_property_link works just fine when I use it to link texts, but I cannot use it as the link of an image. Let me explain: The URL works when used in text. But when used in an image, I get a 400 Bad Request error. Klaviyo’s message when I am in preview while hyperlinking images with the update_property_link. Any ideas on how to solve that? Thanks,
We have a shipping program with an annual fee. It is a product on our Shopify site. We have a blurb promoting it in the footer of every email (campaigns and flows). The price of it does change occasionally. Is there a way to use a dynamic code to pull that one product’s price into the text of the email? Currently, we have to edit every email individually. If we can’t get that data directly from the product, is there a way to create a global variable that could be changed in one place that would change all the email copy automatically?
Hi all! Very new to Klaviyo, trying to set up my first Welcome Sequence for my Newsletter. This is what I would like to happen… I need to understand if this is possible. In the second email of my sequence, I would like the reader to be able to self-segment via a poll “I’m interested in X” / “I’m interested in Y.” I would like Klaviyo to use this data to sort those email addresses who answered into segments “X” and “Y” Then, I’d like a follow-up email to be sent two days later to those who did not answer the poll giving them a second opportunity to self-segment.Am I dreaming? Or is this doable? Thank you!
Hello! I’m new to Klaviyo and trying to figure out how to set it up so when someone subscribes to my newsletter and makes a purchase which makes them a new subscriber (2 seperate list) get the same welcome series of emails. Just wanting to make sure when someone does both, they do not get double welcome series emails. Guessing there is segments to add to make this happen but not sure. Thanks, Kit
We want to use Klaviyo to send Zoom call appointment reminders day of, and then 5-10 minutes before the call starts.I see how to use “Date Property” trigger to send email on specific days, provided I store the date as a custom property, but I cannot see how to get it to send at a dynamic time.Is there a way through either Custom Properties or Metrics to create flows that send emails to per-user specific times? Instead of smth like “9:00 a.m. on day of Appointment” for everyone?Like if I store “Appointment” as ‘2023-02-15 15:45:00’, on Feb 15th the email sends at 15:45, or set to 5 minutes before 15:45.And if I store “Appointment” for another user as ‘2023-02-15 11:00:00’, it sends at 11:00 a.m. or 5 minutes before 11:00.The closest I’ve seen is another forum post where someone said you could put a future timestamp in a metric, but that seems quite fragile should there be reschedules and cancellations.
Hello,I work for a company that has created a white-label ecommerce system. One of our merchants has required we integrate the Klaviyo API so that their customers can receive marketing emails or text messages. I’ve been able to add email addresses / mobile phone numbers to a List and provide sms_consent using the API just fine. What I’m having trouble with is how I would use Klaviyo in other capacities. For example, as part of the sign up process for our website, we send a text message to a new customer’s phone with a confirmation code. We then require the customer to type in the code we’ve sent them in order to complete the sign up process. Is there a way, using Klaviyo, that we can send this SMS to customers without them having to provide sms_consent? In this case, the SMS sent isn’t for marketing purposes - it’s just to verify that the customer has provided a valid phone number.I appreciate any help you can provide this Klaviyo newbie.
Hi We have a custom property in our profiles ; Brand What is the correct way to show this value in the subject line and within the email body itself. Also is it possible to show a different main image depending on this property value within a campaign or only within flows? Thanks for your help. Sean
Hi guys, I want to create a dashboard for my CEO.I can produce the right cards to show flow and form performance but I also want a card that will show the names and phone numbers of people who have subscribed to our segment ‘please call me’ in the last week.I can get a count of these people but can’t get their names to show up on a card.Is this even possible?
Hi,I have 40 different niches and each niches has specific customers. Now when somebody from (not in the list) outside purchases a product, they are not coming under any niche. For eg I have a Niche nurse and profession as Nurse (In Klaviyo properties) if a person purchase from that particular niche how can I automatically add their profession as Nurse. Could some one help me with that. Thanks in advance
Hi there! We have been using Klaviyo now for about a year, and I’m having really good success with our engaged segment. As we are a gift shop with several different categories (candles, specialty foods, tableware, baby, home decor, pets, etc) I’d like to begin capturing customer preferences so that when we are doing product specific emails, I am only sending to the people who are interested in those categories. What is the best way to capture that information after they complete the pop-up? Is it best to capture that immediately, or add it as part of our welcome flow? Or take them directly to a page online after completing the subscribe form? Is that something I can do using a Klaviyo form or is best achieved through an app?Greatly appreciate any advice or best practices that are working for others. Thanks!
Hey Everyone, Im little confused by Klaviyo’s metric for Email revenue per recipient. The metric that pops up is the revenue divided by the number of emails sent… not number of recipients. I honestly don’t care about revenue per emails sent as much as I care about revenue divided by number of contacts. Why don’t they show, in the analytics the revenue per contact? It’s easy to figure out, but when I’m showing clients it’s much better to have the proof there in a screen shot. Or am I missing something here?
May be an obvious one but working with a record label who have tagged all their Shopify products with the genre of the product: When I go to create the segment however, I don’t have an option to pull through any Shopify tags: The Shopify connection is solid and working for everything else, I’m just confused how to find the tags we’ve assigned to Shopify products within Klaviyo and how I can create segments based off of them and activity on those products. Thanks!
Does anyone have an experience with the Klaviyo plugin for Shopware? https://store.shopware.com/klavi31418217175f/klaviyo-email-sms-marketing.html I know Shopware isn’t a native integration but this plugin seems to be made by Klaviyo and I wondered if it would automatically set up events instead of having to go the API route. Thanks!
Hello Klaviyo Fam,I tried to use a mail-tester to rate our deliverability. And the result is 4.3/10, it says were not fully authenticated. How to fix this? Here is the result: https://www.mail-tester.com/test-3kvgy463pNote: We use a sub domain: www.mysite.store connected to our Klaviyo but we set-up our Dedicated sending domain using our main domain: www.mysite.org. is this okay? Thank you.
