Why doesn't klaviyo receive SMS consent from Facebook or Instagram etc.?
Hi all,I have about 40k subscribers with active phone numbers awaiting me to target and send sms campaigns to them. However, only about 90+ of them has consented to receive my sms according to Klaviyo.Is there a workaround or do I have to send an email campaign to let those customers agree to receive sms through Klaviyo again?
Unable to receive Toll Free Number
Hi all,I recently signed up for Klaviyo and had a given SMS number when I signed up. My account was disabled shortly after and when it was activated again my SMS number was was gone and now it is unable to give me a new Toll Free Number. How do I get a number so I can start sending out SMS messages?
Absorbed SMS List
Hello, One of my clients has bought out another business and absorbed their contacts. Of these contacts they are SMS numbers that had previously opted into the business’ SMS marketing. Are we able to then send SMS messages to these absorbed contacts after updating profile properties to “consented”?
SMS Organization Prefix - Does it have to be the company name?
Hi Klaviyo community!One of my clients wants to try sending SMS where instead of the normal organizational prefix (example: Company name: Here’s my SMS message) they want to use their names instead. I looked through Klaviyo documentation and could only find that it is highly recommended to use the organization prefix to help people identify who the text is from, but my client is really keen to try using their names instead (they are using SMS to build community). I thought we might try with an MMS where the image has the company logo on it (so it’s clear who the message is from) - are there any reasons why it would be a terrible idea to use a name instead of the organization prefix? (example: Person’s name: Here’s my SMS message) Thanks for any advice!
How do I validate SMS consent to Klaviyo?
My SMS flow is not sending due to the SMS consent requirement.I’m generating leads through FB Lead ads and was wondering how to prove to Klaviyo that the people who are opting in actually approve to get SMS.Do I simply add the phrase “By submitting your mobile number you consent to receiving marketing SMS messages from us”? to the lead form itself?Would Klaviyo accept this and release the SMS Flow to the leads?
How to know about how many sms I have sent out after the customers flll in the sms opt-in?
I have set up a sign up form which is multi-step email & sms, and for the sms opt-in i set a list “A” for them to submitted to. So my question1 is how can i know about how many messages and emails i sent out already? since it is not a flow or a campaign, i couldnt find out where to check the data.2, Will they be shown in list “A” as long as they reply my message? Or they will only be shown in the list “A” by replying “yes” “y” “stop” “help”.3, What if they put in their phone number in the opt-in session, but they dont reply me anything when they receive the message for confirming signing up?

Hi- another store posted a link on their instagram feed for customers to click on link to sign up for SMS alerts. Right now i don’t know of any way other than my newsletter signup on our website for people to add their info. We have thousands of instagram followers so i was hoping to easily get more SMS subscribers by posting a link so they can directly sign up that way instead of having to log into our website and going through the motions of the newletter signup. TIA
SMS in Japan
Hi Klaviyo community,I am wondering if it is at all possible to use SMS functionalities of Klaviyo in Japan. The reason I ask this question because I noticed the article regarding the SMS relating to specific countries US, Canaca, UK, and Australia and therefore I am guessing Japan is out of scope as far as SMS functionalities are concerned. Klaviyo Transactional SMS on ReCharge subscription Checkout
Hello everyone,It seems we aren’t generating enough sms consent with our newsletter enrollment on our front page.We are looking at getting SMS consent on checkout for transactional SMS flow. We are currently using a wordpress front site, that is integrated with BigCommerce, and have ReCharge subscription too.If I understand this properly we have 2 checkouts.Does anyone have a similar configuration with have the Transactional Flows (ordered, tracking number) working for both checkouts BigCommerce and Recharge?Could you guide me to the info and or settings?Thank you very much
Porting Over Short Code from Attentive
Hey Community :)Thinking of switching to Klaviyo for SMS and will be starting the process of porting my short code. My question is, during this 4-week-long process, will I still be able to send SMS campaigns out via Attentive? I realize I should probably ask my CSM over there but wanted to put it to the Klaviyo forum in case someone has gone through this.Ty!
Workaround to export SMS Conversations to .csv?
Hi everyone,I just confirmed with Klaviyo Customer Support that it’s not currently possible to export all SMS conversations to csv, but I’m wondering if anyone might have thoughts on a workaround.They did say that “in Q2, our development team is planning on releasing a SMS to Zendesk feature.” Unfortunately we don’t use Zendesk, so that’s not much of a help to us.Any ideas? Incorrect email SMS Flow
Hi There,Once a month we do a promotion where we offer free entry into our venues for the first hour of the day. (We are an indoor Playcentre company).We have successfully been able to establish this through Klayvio creating a new a signup form, list and a flow that will send them a “free entry ticket” for the day via email.One of the things we would like to do is when a customer enters the incorrect email address and the email bounces it will SMS the customer to let them know that they entered the wrong email address and to re-start the process. I have attached the flows we have setup. (we collect SMS and Email consent on the signup form) What seems to be happening is that Klayvio flags the email as bounced then suppresses the profile for both SMS and Email, preventing the SMS from being sent. Any suggestions on how to achieve this?
Adding SMS Consent to List subscription page
Is it possible to add SMS consent to a List Subscription page?I'm asking because the functionality to add SMS consent to the phone number field does not exist in Klaviyo's builder.The goal is to send an email within the First Purchase Welcome Series to new customer's who have yet to consent to SMS, and link them to a Lander with SMS consent.I suppose we could pop a consent form similar to what we're currently using but I'd rather use a dedicated Lander if possible.Let me know your thoughts.
