Using calendar date as a condition or trigger

Is it possible to start a flow on a specific date (i.e. March 15) or use an email’s send date as a condition inside a flow? Like “Is Send Date March thru August? Yes, send t-shirt email. No, send outerwear email”. Our business is greenhouse, ag, landscapers and such, so it has a lot of seasonal needs outside of holidays.

Creating an email flow based on Delivery Date

Hello! I am the most novice, novice there is when it comes to Klavyio. I have set up all of my flows, however, I need to streamline the process so that I am not manually sending them to customers.  We run a cold-pressed juice business and cannot calculate the timeline of production like a fashion company might.  When a customer places an order we need to send emails based on their delivery date, not when the order itself was made. As every customer will have different delivery dates, and periods between order placed and expected delivery, I am really curious about how I can do this in Klavyio, and if this is at all possible. Example: Someone buys a juice cleanse on December 1st, Wednesday. They want it delivered December 6th, Monday. We have a journey setup so that people get an email upon purchasing, an email 2 days before cleansing to prepare themselves, an email the day of when we are delivering it and then an email every day throughout the cleanse and 2 days after.  (We also use Wo

Flow isn't sending when someone joins the segment (trigger)

I have 2 flows. In flow 1, we ask for a 1-5 star NPS rating. If someone clicks 1-3 stars, they enter a segment “Property about someone, NPS Rating is less than 4”.  Once someone enters this segment (I’ve confirmed that they are indeed in the segment after clicking any star 1-3) they should trigger flow 2. Except this flow never gets sent, despite entering the segment.I’ve made sure all my definitions are correct and the the right definitions are paired with the right flow. I’ve also turned off smart sending for each flow.This is an ongoing issue for me. Klaviyo seems to be extremely buggy and unreliable.

How to set up and auto-respond email when someone sends an email about a product?

Hi Klaviyo community,For my webshop I am looking for "how a I set up an auto-respond email", through Klaviyo when someone asks a question by email. I sell dog beds and receive many questions by email about them daily. Now I am setting up a general "FAQ" and if someone sends an email I would like to send an auto-reply via Klaviyo in which there is an automatic link to our FAQ-page in the hope that the potential customer will find an answer to his question on our FAQ-page. In addition, I would like to include a message in this email stating that "we will try to answer every email within 24/48 hours, and in the meantime the customer can check our FAQ page.I have already searched this community, but have not been able to find a topic about this.I hope someone can help me with this. Custom metric for page views

I'm trying to use the Klaviyo API to add custom metric when a particular page is viewed. I have followed the instructions from the klaviyo post here:https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360059075151-How-to-create-a-custom-viewed-page-metricbut the custom metric isn't being counted.The reason we need this is to determine which users have completed checkout for an abandoned cart flow. The default Klaviyo flow won't work with our application because some payments are not done immediately. For example interac e-transfers, our customers will still receive an abandoned cart email after they have successfully checked out.If we can create a metric on users who have or have not visited our Woocomerce "thank you" page we can accurately target them with an abandoned cart flow.We could add a filter to the flow to make sure only those who didn't visit that thank you page in the last few hours would be targeted.There's a section in the tutorial that recommends using a UTM parameter to test the

How to add "Add to Cart" snippet with Shopify Turbo theme

Emails not showing updated product prices

I have many emails in my flows - they have products from my shopify store at the bottom.  I have recently updated the prices on my products.  How do I get the emails to show the updated prices, without having to go into each one and re-add the product please?

Conditional split configuration 'contains'

Hi guys, I’m trying to configure my 2+ post-purchase flow so it is when someone has a checkout success with a cart that CONTAINS a specific product, as I have in my normal post purchase flow flows, however, it seems to be automatically set to EQUALS instead, how do I set it to contains, or if it is set to EQUALS, will it still work if other  product variations were in the cart? Thanks!(This is a custom API, not shopify)

Does the Conditional Split 'Contains' condition look at each option individually?

I have a re-engagement flow which is sending comms out to customers that have contacted us about a quote. In this quote we provide a discount, if the quote includes specific brands then they cannot be sent the discount.I have setup a conditional Split in the flow and used the ‘contains’ condition to list all the brands that are excluded, this should exclude anyone that has one of these brands against their record: When I look at the customers that ‘pass’ the split, some of them have brands lists in the quote, i.e its not excluding them. Does the ‘contain’ condition require that the quote contain ALL the brands listed for it to work, or will it exclude someone that contains at least 1? Ideally it needs to exclude them if they have 1 or more brands listed. Thanks!

Newsletter preference email. Success page

Hi Klaviyo Community! I’m stuck on something and hoping someone here could help out or point me to the right tutorial. In one of my post-purchase email I’m including buttons for people to choose what type /how many emails they would like to receive. I followed Klaviyos help article and for the URL for the button I used: {% update_property_link 'emailpreference' 'all' 'redirect_link' %}I understand that by clicking the button their preferences gets updated and they will be redirected to another page for example a “success!“ page.I’ve now created a form in klaviyo which looks like a success page.My question is how can I direct the person to that form? I mean, how/where can I find that forms’ URL to put into the 'redirect_link' part of the button URL? Thanks in advance :)

Can't change Brand name in SMS messages

 Hello - when a welcome SMS message is sent via a flow - there is a typo in the Brand name. It should read Fungimental. I have corrected it in the account settings - but the typo still shows. Am I missing something? I tried re-creating the text alert in the flow. I also tried cloning the flow. Do I need to start again with a new flow to pick-up the change? ...and is that the ONLY way? Going to be a right ball ache!

Some questions on dedicated sending domain

Hi all, I have a few questions that I can't find an answer to.1)If I'm working with a customer who has an e-commerce, and I have to send him the dedicated email, I've seen that I have to do things from the DNS, only how should I do it. That is, do I tell the customer that he must let me access the DNS? Or are there other things that can be done2) Once a dedicated email is created, can I add the subdomain, and does it work? i.e. if the email info@store123.com is verified via DNS, can I send emails with info@send.store123.com? or does it not work?3)Klavyio has payment plans, if I have 5 clients do I have to pay for each of my 5 clients the plan, or do I pay only for my account from which I manage 5 clients?Thank you so much for any response ^^

sms not available becsuse of prohibited content? i only sale haircare products why is this?

 Hi I have a Haircare beardcare company through Shopify I’ve had for 3 years but just recently started using emails to market. I’m new to klaviyo but when I went to setup my sms marketing it says that sms is unavailable to me because of prohibited content. Why is this? We are a Haircare beardcare company only. All of my products are on the up and up. No illegal substances are contained in them so what is the problem. How can i manage different clients?

Hi everyone, I'm MaxI have several questions that I can't find an answer to, I'm sorry but I've searched for an answer but I'm just getting more confused.I don't understand if I have to create an account with an email, and then the ecommerces I have to work for add me as admin or manager (is that right admin or manager?) and then I will have an email connected to the various accounts on behalf of these ecommerces . Or do I have to create several emails to work with these ecommerce?And another question, when I work for these ecommerces, is the email that appears when I send emails to their customer lists mine? isn't that unprofessional?Sorry if it's unclear, I just don't understand how it works.

Wrong customers location

Hi,I’m having a problem with Klaviyo. Few weeks ago I connected Klaviyo to my Prestashop account but I realized that there is a problem with location in Klaviyo. I try to explain myself. When a person fills the registration form on my ecommerce has to give us some information (including the place where this person lives). Even if now Klaviyo and Prestashop are connected, Klaviyo doesn’t take the location from Prestashop, but from somewhere else. The problem is that sometimes the information Klaviyo takes is wrong. Since we send newsletters based on where people live it’s important that the locations are correct. Do you know how I can fix this issue?(I hope I’ve made myself clear. Adding background image to a sectionTutorial

Background images are another new exciting feature of the new editor. You can drag and drop in a section and simply toggle on the background image button. Here, you can select an image that you want other blocks to pile on top of. It’s helpful to pick an image that doesn’t have words or one central focus - since content will be added on top of it. We suggest adding a ‘lifestyle’ shot to express the brand’s views/tone or mood. Once the image is added, you can drag/drop any blocks on top like a normal section. Newsletter register with shopify

Hello, i have a problem with my newsletter flow. I added a pop-up into my shopify store and it is working well. But the problem is that the mail with the discount code that is the mail that you should recive while registering into newsletter at shopify is not sending. I need help with answer what can be the problem. It looks like people are added to the list but the mail is still not being sent...

Is there currently a way to group elements in the email design?

Hi, I have created 2 columns, and 1 column contains 1x image, 3x text boxes and a button. Is there a way to group these 5 elements together to then bulk duplicate? I can’t see a way to do this but it would make it so much easier to design rather than duplicating each element.. does anyone else have this issue? Would love to know your thoughts! thanksHelen

Nothing happens after clicking "notify me when back in stock"

Please see screenshot. I just added the Back in Stock flow, and when someone enters their email, the button goes grey and then nothing happens. No confirmation screen and the window doesn’t disappear. Any ideas? The email is still coming through on my end, however.
