Show / Hide Block based on time email is opened
I want to be able to show/hide certain content based on when a user is opening and interacting with content. For example, if I mention a promotion in an email and the user lets the content in sit in their inbox after it expires, I want to be able to then hide the content because it’s no longer relevant. Is this something I can do and if so, how would I do it?
How does Klaviyo know who's who?
So I have a couple forms that i only want to present to certain people in my lists. I know there is the option to only show to certain lists and segments, but how does this work. For example if I had a person sign up for email on their phone. How can I ensure they see the right forms on there other devices? Or is that not possible?
My add-to-cart trigger is going to interfere with my abandoned cart flow
Hi I recently added the add-to-cart trigger to my klaviyo I want to create an add-to-cart flow using the same flow as my abandoned cart email flow. The problem is that a customer could get a double up of emails if they meet the rules of both; a) the abandoned checkout flow and b) add-to-cart flow. How can I I merge both flows together, can I create a flow that has two triggers e.g. creating a flow where the trigger is both ‘checkout started’ or ‘add-to’cart’
Klaviyo Waitlist Button
Hi, I am using Klaviyo and I have installed their code into my store so when an item appears as 'sold out' the 'join the waitlist' button appears. However, it is currently appearing sitting underneath the 'sold out' button and I would like to replace the 'sold out' button with the Klaviyo 'join the waitlist button'. So instead of the out-of-stock button appearing, the notify me when available appears. I have the code for the notify me when the available button to work, I would just like it to have the same appearance as the sold-out button and act in the same way. Thank you!
Can Klaviyo scrape for keywords in Customer's Message Cards on Shopify
Context: I have a gifting business with customers who purchase gifts for special occasions. I would like to send occasion reminder emails to customers who have bought gifts and attached a message card with specific keywords, i.e. Birthday, Anniversary, etc Example: John buys a birthday gift on 31st March 2020 and attaches a message card with the words “Happy Birthday”. Can I have Klaviyo scrape all orders with message card that has keyword: “Birthday” and send them a reminder email to repurchase another birthday gift the following year. So John would then receive the reminder email sometime before 31st March 2021. I know how to use Date Property-Triggered Flows to enable the scheduling and have it recur every year. However, am I able to only send to orders who’s message card contains keywords “ Birthday” / “Anniversary” / etc.
Birthday Flow for kid(s) of a subscriber
Hi community, I work with a children’s concept store and would like to set up a Birthday Flow for when the kids of a customer have their birthdays. Does anyone know if it’s possible to add various birthday as custom fields (e.g. kid 1, kid 2 etc) and create birthday flows for each kid that include the kids name? Probably a bit complicated but I hope someone here will know!
Hi ! Does anyone have a solution how to create dynamic coupon code in Klaviyo with the settings that a customer has to buy something different, to get a specific product for free. Something like Buys X gets Y for free. Is this possible? Or do you know a workaround how to set this up? Would be super important. Thank you!
Established Account with huge spike in bounces?
One of my accounts that has been sending via Klaviyo for years and is only sending to a very engaged user list has seen a sudden spike in bounces particularly from apple accounts like @me @mac and @icloud See screenshot of the email performance in the last 30 days. Anyone else seeing this? Any advice? These are soft bounces. What should I check to find out why this is happening?
Does Welcome series overlap with abandon cart email flow?
when I create welcome series the trigger is when someone is subscribed to my newsletter and then abandon cart is activated when someone abandon their cart. so when a new subscriber sign in to my newsletter and then he/she abandon their cart after few days when welcome series is still active so do they receive both welcome series email and abandon cart email.If yes is it okay for them to receive those email?
Changing Shopify Theme
HiI am already using Klaviyo on a vintage Shopify theme, and have Back in Stock, Viewed Product Tracking and Added to Cart Tracking set up, together with embedded forms.Currently migrating to a 2.0 theme, and unable to find any information about whether I need to add these all over again?If so, can I do that before the theme is published? Are value triggers always in USD?
I’m building Abandoned Cart flows with a trigger split based on cart value.I have multiple Klaviyo accounts - on for each Shopify stores with different currencies.The trigger split shows $Value even for the accounts with other currencies.Should I build the trigger based on USD always, or should i build them based on the currency of the store that the specific Klaviyo account in connected to?

Typeform formatting issue

Why I can't see "placed order" option in the dashboard?
Hey, so I’m working with this new client. And this client does live events and the booking happens through Eventbrite. Now, the problem is that I can’t see the "placed order" option in the dashboard. In fact, there is no other option other than "active on site". Why so?
A/B testing - can you just test one of the two variations first?

Difficulty creating a preferences segment.
Either everyone qualifies, or no one qualifies.On signup they can click on their preferences which addsa custom property to their profile - receiving emails twice a week, one a week, or once a month.The other option is to choose the content they wish to receive: sales and promotions, new products, blog posts.I'm trying to create a segment of people in the main emailing listwho haven't let us know how frequently they want to receive emailsor the type of emails.If I create the segment saying “Is not set” or contains “xxx” (listing all the possible choices) it’s either empty, or full. Trying to figure out how I can send an email or target the people who haven’t yet updated their preferences as it’s important to me to improve our open rates (which are slipping).
Will my campaign send once the Manual Compliance Review is complete?
I just upgraded my account so that I could deploy my first send and now my account is disabled due to a manual compliance check. The campaign that I had set up is showing as canceled. Will it automatically deploy once the compliance check is completed? Or will I have to rebuild it? My email included time sensitive articles and I don’t want it to deploy after the date I had scheduled it for, which is tomorrow.Please help!
Virtual Workshop Email Flow
My company sells a DIY ring carving kit. When customers order their kit, they can sign up for a virtual workshop where they learn how to carve. I’m trying to set up email flows for my customers post-virtual workshop, and I’m a little stumped. Ideally, the flow would work like this:TRIGGER: customer completes carve (thank you email, follow up email with possible upgrades, etc.).I am not quite sure how to connect the dots between customers ordering a product, and then choosing a date on my Shopify website, and translating that into a Klaviyo trigger. If anyone has any advice, I would really appreciate it!
Seperate Welcome Flows for Mobile SMS Consent
From what I can tell you can’t really separate Welcome Flows for SMS signups that come from a mobile form (the one where you just click and it pulls up your messages with a text to join). We have that form as a second step on our welcome popup but we’re also using another version embedded for periodic AMA with our brand ambassador. When we do the AMA’s it would be great to trigger a different flow than here’s your 15% off coupon, and more like “Hey, here for an hour or so AMA”. While the welcome popup should always just be doing it’s thing and triggering the welcome flow that sends out the first time purchase coupon. The reason I can’t figure out how to do this is because it appears the mobile SMS signup doesn’t send a $source attribute with it. Is there another way to accomplish what I’m trying to do?
